Operating the appliance
Important
1
Each time before switching on make
sure that the burner crown and
burner cover are lying straight on
the burner body.
If burner crown and burner cover
are lying crookedly, the gas flame
does not burn evenly and it can
cause damage to the burner cover.
1Important
The apertures for the gas flames on the burner crown must not be
blocked by foods that have boiled over or by cleaning products.
Switching the appliance on and off
1. Turn the ring switch to the left to
maximum power .
2. Press the ring switch in firmly, until
the gas has ignited. After a successful ignition hold the ring switch depressed for about 5 seconds. If the
flame should go out, repeat the ignition process.
9
3. Set the desired power. The power
can be set progressively from maximum power to minimum power
.
4. To end the cooking process, turn
back to the Off position.
3In the event of a power cut or also when the spark plug is wet (because
of food boiling over or cleaning) the rings can also be ignited using a
gas lighter or a match.
1Warning!
Only take cookware from the ring when at minimum power or in the
Off Position •.
