Cleaning and Servicing
Front of the device
- no hard/agressiv cleaner
- no steel-wool/pan scrourers
- while cleaning don't move circulary, otherwise the surface gets damaged
Clean with soft, clean and wet lycra-cloth.

Switch off the device immediately
According to this manual, only use the device to prepare coffee-drinks, hot water and to warm up drinks using steam.
NEVER use device for other purposes then those described in this manual. In case of ignorance of this manual/safety instructions, danger may occur, caused by e.g. hot water, steam, voltage.
Installation (building in), connecting and putting in operation, should only be executed by authorized professionals.
- Mains supply has to correspond with device-data
- Use only enclosed power cord or one of a similar type
- Recommandation: Attach the device through FI-switch
- Children and uninstructed persons cannot operate this device. Device is dangerous for children.
- Place sieve-holder and turn it for correct fitting to the right until
the lever stays at a 90° to the device front
- Danger of burns on steam, hot water, and in the operating area of the device around the steam-nozzle, carrier-circle and top cover plate, e.g. while
touching the bolt button
- Never direct hot water/steam onto parts of the body (danger of burns)
- Hot water/steam-nozzle gets warm, only touch burns protection!
- While operating the hot water / steam nozzle, dive it deeply into cup/liquid, otherwise hot water/steam could splash
- After taking steam: for coffee/hot water preparation, first cool down system, otherwise strong steam-flow can come up (see: cooling down)
- Do not put any items into device - holes - risk of electric shock
- Do not clamp mains - cords/plugs, do not touch with hot/sharp items, do not pull out cord etc.

This device complies with the EU-Norms and directives:
- Before cleaning, switch off the device and let cool down for at least 20 min.
- Do not splash water on the device, do not dive it into water
- Observe the user manual of the producer of descaling agent
- Do not use device with malfunction, suspicion on defect, etc. Switch off immediately.
- Repair/service / maintenance only at Electrolux-Customer service
- Do not use device when mains-cord is defected. To avoid danger, only let Electrolux professionals change mains cord
- Do not introduce items into the holes, do not unscrew any parts of the device, danger of electrical chock
- For safety reasons only use original spare parts and accessories
- Package is recycable
- Unplug device, take of mains cord. Bring separated device and mains cord
to the public dispose or to customer service
