out a test on a part of the item that
cannot be seen.

hand-woven or non-colour-fast carpets may not be wet cleaned.
Prior to wet cleaning carpets or uphol-

If the carpet has previously been shampooed there might be considerable
build-up of foam in the dirty water
container when P. Tex is used for the
first time. To avoid more foam, add half
a cup of vinegar to the dirty water
tank.
If foam comes out of the air vent,

is pushed directly onto the spray dispensing button (27). Pull the adapter
away from the stop valve and attach
the delivery hose to it by turning the

lengthy drying times depending on the
substructure.

What to do, if ...
• you press the spray dispensing button
on the handle (27) but no cleaning liquid comes out:
– Have you pressed the cleaning pump
(9) On/Off switch?
– Is there any cleaning liquid in the
fresh water tank?
Top up the cleaning liquid if necessary.
– Is the spray nozzle blocked?
Place the nozzle for a short while in
lukewarm water and then blow
through it hard.
– Is the tank connection opening
blocked?
Remove the fresh water tank and
thoroughly vacuum the tank con-

g
nection opening (the join between
the fresh water tank and the housing) with the crevice nozzle to
remove possible soiling.
• the suction performance deteriorates:
– The hose or accessories are dirty or
blocked.
– The container must be emptied.
– The dust bag (24) is full. Please
change the bag.
– During wet cleaning the suction
stops automatically and the motor
becomes louder when the container
is full. Switch off the appliance and
then empty the container.
3 Important tips
• To obtain the best possible cleaning
results you can repeat the wet cleaning
using clear water. In that case, fill the
fresh water tank (2) only with clear
water.
• Cleaned surfaces can be dried more
quickly by vacuuming again – without
pressing the spray dispensing button
(27) – to remove the majority of the
remaining liquids.
• To clean the spray circulation system
and accessories it is necessary to pump
approx. 1 l of clean water through the
feed tubes before putting the appliance away; This will prevent remnants
of the cleaning agent sticking and
blocking the appliance and accessories.
Proceed as if „Wet Cleaning Carpets
and Upholstery“.
• Always empty out the dirty water that
has been collected in the tank.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions
when cleaning parquet floors.
• Never move the appliance by pulling
on the cable. Always use the appropriate handle for transportation.
• After use rewind the cable by pressing
button (1) (Z).
