4 Veiligheidsinformatie

VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE

In het belang van uw veiligheid en om een correct gebruik te kunnen waarborgen is het van
belang dat u, alvorens het apparaat te installeren en in gebruik te nemen, deze gebruiks­aanwijzing, inclusief de tips en waarschuwingen, grondig doorleest. Om onnodige vergissin­gen en ongevallen te voorkomen is het belangrijk ervoor te zorgen dat alle mensen die het
apparaat gebruiken, volledig bekend zijn met de werking ervan en de veiligheidsvoorzienin­gen. Bewaar deze instructies en zorg ervoor dat zij bij het apparaat blijven als het wordt
verplaatst of verkocht, zodat iedereen die het apparaat gedurende zijn hele levensduur ge­bruikt, naar behoren is geïnformeerd over het gebruik en de veiligheid van het apparaat.
Voor de veiligheid van mensen en eigendommen dient u zich aan de voorzorgsmaatregelen
uit dit instructieboekje te houden, de fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade die door
het niet opvolgen van de aanwijzingen veroorzaakt is.

Veiligheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen

• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder begrepen kinderen)
met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke vermogens of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis,
tenzij dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon
of tenzij zij van een dergelijke persoon instructie hebben ontvangen over het gebruik van
het apparaat.

Houd kinderen uit de buurt om te voorkomen dat ze met het apparaat gaan spelen.

• Houd alle verpakkingsmateriaal buiten het bereik van kinderen. Gevaar voor verstikking.

• Als u het apparaat afdankt trek dan de stekker uit het stopcontact, snij de voedingskabel
door (zo dicht mogelijk bij het apparaat) en verwijder de deur om te voorkomen dat kin­deren een elektrische schok krijgen of zichzelf in het apparaat opsluiten.

• Als dit apparaat, dat voorzien is van een magnetische deursluiting, een ouder apparaat
vervangt, dat voorzien is van een veerslot (slot) op de deur of het deksel, zorg er dan voor
dat u het slot onbruikbaar maakt voordat u het oude apparaat weggooit. Dit voorkomt
dat kinderen er in opgesloten kunnen raken.

Algemene veiligheid

LET OP!

Houd de ventilatie-openingen altijd vrij van obstructies.

• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het bewaren van levensmiddelen en/of dranken in een ge­woon huishouden, zoals uitgelegd in dit instructieboekje.

• Gebruik geen mechanische hulpmiddelen of kunstgrepen om het ontdooiproces te ver­snellen.

• Gebruik geen andere elektrische apparaten (bijvoorbeeld ijsmachines) in koelkasten, tenzij
ze voor dit doel goedgekeurd zijn door de fabrikant.

• Let op dat u het koelcircuit niet beschadigt.

• Het koelmiddel isobutaan (R600a) bevindt zich in het koelcircuit van het apparaat, dit is
een natuurlijk gas dat weliswaar milieuvriendelijk is, maar ook uiterst ontvlambaar.

Controleer of de onderdelen van het koelcircuit tijdens transport en installatie van het
apparaat niet beschadigd zijn geraakt.

Indien het koelcircuit beschadigd is:
– open vuur en ontstekingsbronnen vermijden
– de ruimte waar het apparaat zich bevindt grondig ventileren

• Het is gevaarlijk om wijzigingen aan te brengen in de specificaties of dit product op eni­gerlei wijze te modificeren. Een beschadigd netsnoer kan kortsluiting, brand en/of een
elektrische schok veroorzaken.

WAARSCHUWING!

Alle elektrische onderdelen (netsnoer, stekker, compressor) mogen uitsluitend vervangen
worden door een erkende onderhoudsdienst of gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.

1. Het netsnoer mag niet verlengd worden.

2. Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker niet platgedrukt of beschadigd wordt door de ach-

terkant van het apparaat. Een platgedrukte of beschadigde stekker kan oververhit ra­ken en brand veroorzaken.

3. Verzeker u ervan dat u de stekker van het apparaat kunt bereiken.

4. Trek niet aan het snoer.

5. Als de stekker los zit, steek hem dan niet in het stopcontact. Dan bestaat er een risico

op een elektrische schok of brand.

U mag het apparaat niet gebruiken zonder de afdekking van het lampje

• Dit apparaat is zwaar. Wees voorzichtig als u het apparaat verplaatst.

• Haal geen artikelen uit het vriesvak en raak ze niet aan als uw handen vochtig/nat zijn,
dit kan uw huid beschadigen of vrieswonden veroorzaken.

• Stel het apparaat niet langdurig bloot aan direct zonlicht.

paraten. De lampjes zijn niet geschikt voor de verlichting van ruimtes.

Dagelijks gebruik

• Zet geen hete potten op de kunststof onderdelen in het apparaat.

• Bewaar geen brandbare gassen of vloeistoffen in het apparaat, deze kunnen ontploffen.

• U dient zich strikt te houden aan de aanbevelingen van de fabrikant van het apparaat
met betrekking tot het bewaren van voedsel. Raadpleeg de betreffende aanwijzingen.

Onderhoud en reiniging

• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u onderhouds­handelingen verricht.

• Maak het apparaat niet met metalen voorwerpen schoon.

• Controleer de afvoer in de koelkast regelmatig op dooiwater. Reinig de afvoer, indien no­dig. Als de afvoer verstopt is, zal er zich water onder in het apparaat verzamelen.

6 Bedieningspaneel

Installatie

Voor de aansluiting van elektriciteit dienen de instructies in de desbetreffende paragrafen
nauwgezet te worden opgevolgd.

• Pak het apparaat uit en controleer of er beschadigingen zijn. Sluit het apparaat niet aan
als het beschadigd is. Meld mogelijke beschadigingen onmiddellijk bij de winkel waar u
het apparaat gekocht heeft. Gooi in dat geval de verpakking niet weg.

• Wij adviseren u om 4 uur te wachten voordat u het apparaat aansluit, dan kan de olie
terugvloeien in de compressor.

• Rond het apparaat dient adequate luchtcirculatie te zijn, anders kan dit tot oververhit­ting leiden. Om voldoende ventilatie te verkrijgen de instructies met betrekking tot de
installatie opvolgen.

• De achterkant dient zo mogelijk tegen een muur geplaatst te worden, teneinde te voor­komen dat hete onderdelen (compressor, condensator) aangeraakt kunnen worden en
brandwonden veroorzaken.

• Het apparaat mag niet vlakbij radiatoren of kooktoestellen geplaatst worden.

• Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker bereikbaar is nadat het apparaat geïnstalleerd is.

•

Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een drinkwaterleiding.

Onderhoud

• Alle elektrotechnische werkzaamheden die noodzakelijk zijn voor het uitvoeren van on­derhoud aan het apparaat, dienen uitgevoerd te worden door een gekwalificeerd elektri­cien of competent persoon.

• Dit product mag alleen worden onderhouden door een erkend onderhoudscentrum en er
dient alleen gebruik te worden gemaakt van originele reserveonderdelen.

Bescherming van het milieu

Dit apparaat bevat geen gassen die de ozonlaag kunnen beschadigen, niet in het koelcircuit
en evenmin in de isolatiematerialen. Het apparaat mag niet worden weggegooid bij het
normale huishoudelijke afval. Het isolatieschuim bevat ontvlambare gassen: het apparaat
moet weggegooid worden conform de van toepassing zijnde regels die u bij de lokale over­heidsinstanties kunt verkrijgen. Voorkom beschadiging aan de koeleenheid, vooral aan de
achterkant bij de warmtewisselaar. De materialen die gebruikt zijn voor dit apparaat en die
voorzien zijn van het symbool

Het ingestelde geluid van de toetsen kan harder worden gezet door een paar seconden ge­lijktijdig te drukken op de toets Mode en de toets Temperatuur lager. De wijziging kan weer
ongedaan worden gemaakt.

Inschakelen

Ga als volgt te werk om het apparaat in te schakelen:

1. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

2. Druk op de ON/OFF -knop als het display uit is.

3. Het alarm kan na een paar seconden werken.

Zie om het alarm te resetten 'Alarm hoge temperatuur'.

4. Het temperatuurindicatielampje toont de ingestelde standaardtemperatuur.
Zie 'Temperatuuregeling' om een andere temperatuur in te stellen.

Uitschakelen

Ga als volgt te werk om het apparaat uit te schakelen:

1. Druk op de ON/OFF-knop voor 5 seconden.

2. Het display wordt uitgeschakeld.

3. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact om de stroomtoevoer naar het apparaat af te slui-

ten.

Temperatuurregeling

De ingestelde temperatuur van de koelkast kan worden aangepast door op de thermostaat­knoppen te drukken.
Standaard ingestelde temperatuur:

• +5°C voor de koelkast
Het temperatuurlampje toont de ingestelde temperatuur.
De ingestelde temperatuur zal binnen 24 uur worden bereikt.

Na een stroomonderbreking blijft de ingestelde temperatuur opgeslagen.

Minute Minder-functie

De Minute Minder -functie moet worden gebruikt om een akoestisch alarm op de gewenste
tijd in te stellen. Dit is bijvoorbeeld handig als in een recept staat dat een mengsel een be­paalde tijd moet afkoelen.
Om de functie aan te zetten:

1. Druk op de Mode-toets tot het bijbehorende pictogram verschijnt.

Het Minute Minder -lampje knippert.
De timer toont gedurende enkele seconden de ingestelde waarde (30 minuten).

2. Druk op de timerknop om de waarde van de timer te wijzigen van 1 tot 90 minuten.

3. Druk op de OK-toets om te bevestigen.

Het Minute Minder -lampje wordt getoond.
De timer begint te knipperen (min).

Op het einde van de aftelling knippert het Minute Minder -lampje en klinkt een alarm:

1. druk op de toets OK om het geluid uit te schakelen en de functie te beëindigen.
De functie kan op elk moment worden uitgeschakeld tijdens het aftellen:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het Minute Minder -lampje knippert.

2. Druk op de OK-toets om te bevestigen.

3. Het Minute Minder -lampje gaat uit.
Het is mogelijk om te allen tijde tijdens het aftellen en voor het einde van de ingestelde tijd,
de tijd te veranderen door op de toets voor het lager zetten van de temperatuur en op de
toets voor het hoger zetten van de temperatuur te drukken.

Kinderslot-functie

Selecteer de kinderslotfunctie om de bediening van de knoppen te vergrendelen tegen on­bedoelde bediening.
Voor inschakeling van de functie:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het bijbehorende pictogram verschijnt.

2. Het indicatielampje Kinderslot knippert.

3. Druk op de OK-knop om te bevestigen.

Het indicatielampje Kinderslot wordt getoond.

Voor uitschakeling van de functie:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het indicatielampje Kinderslot knippert.

2. Druk op de OK-knop om te bevestigen.

3. Het indicatielampje Kinderslot gaat uit.

COOLMATIC-functie

Als u een grote hoeveelheid warm voedsel, bijvoorbeeld na het doen van de boodschappen,
in de koelkast wilt plaatsen, adviseren wij u de COOLMATIC-functie in te schakelen om deze
producten sneller te koelen en om te voorkomen dat voedsel dat al in de koelkast ligt warm
wordt.
Om de functie aan te zetten:

1. Druk op de Mode-toets tot het bijbehorende pictogram verschijnt.

Het COOLMATIC-lampje knippert.
De temperatuurweergave van de koelkast toont de ingestelde temperatuur van +2°C.

2. Druk op de OK-toets om te bevestigen.

Het COOLMATIC-lampje wordt getoond.
De COOLMATIC-functie wordt automatisch na ongeveer 6 uur uitgeschakeld.
Om de functie uit te schakelen voor deze automatisch afloopt:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het COOLMATIC-lampje knippert.

2. Druk op de OK-toets om te bevestigen.

3. Het COOLMATIC-lampje gaat uit.
De functie gaat uit door een andere ingestelde koelkasttemperatuur te selecteren.

Snelkoelfunctie

Met de snelkoelfunctie kunt u flessen en blikjes
snel via een koude luchtstroom afkoelen.

1. Plaats de blikjes/flessen in de snelkoelflessen-

houder.

2. Zet de luchthendel (1) maximaal open.

3. Activeer de COOLMATIC-functie.

4. De snelkoelfunctie wordt na ongeveer 6 uur

automatisch uitgeschakeld.

5. Zet de luchthendel (1) weer op minimum als

het koelen is voltooid.
Als u de functie op een bepaald moment wilt

stopzetten, drukt u op de COOLMATIC -knop.

De snelkoelflessenhouder kan na gebruik worden
verwijderd.

Vakantiefunctie

Met deze functie kunt u de koelkast gesloten en leeg houden tijdens een lange vakantiepe­riode zonder dat u vieze luchtjes krijgt.

Als de vakantiefunctie actief is, moet het koelvak leeg zijn.

Voor inschakeling van de functie:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het bijbehorende pictogram verschijnt.

Het indicatielampje Vakantie knippert.

De temperatuurweergave van de koelkast toont de ingestelde temperatuur.

2. Druk op de OK-knop om te bevestigen.

Het indicatielampje Vakantie wordt getoond.
Voor uitschakeling van de functie:

1. Druk op de Mode-knop tot het indicatielampje Vakantie knippert.

2. Druk op de OK-knop om te bevestigen.

3. Het indicatielampje Vakantie gaat uit.
De functie gaat uit door een andere ingestelde koelkasttemperatuur te selecteren.

Alarm bij open deur

Als de deur enkele minuten heeft opengestaan, klinkt er een geluidsalarm. De alarmtoe­stand bij geopende deur wordt aangegeven door:

• Knipperende alarmindicator

• Zoemer
Als de normale omstandigheden zijn hersteld (deur gesloten), wordt het geluidsalarm uitge­schakeld.
Tijdens het alarm kan de zoemer worden uitgeschakeld door op een willekeurige knop te
drukken.

HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

De binnenkant schoonmaken

Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, wast u de binnenkant en de interne
accessoires met lauwwarm water en een beetje neutrale zeep om de typische geur van een
nieuw product weg te nemen. Droog daarna grondig af.

Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of schuurpoeders. Deze beschadigen de lak.

DAGELIJKS GEBRUIK

Dit apparaat wordt in Frankrijk verkocht.
In overeenstemming met de regelgeving die in dit land geldig is, moet hij worden geleverd
met een speciaal apparaat (zie afbeelding) dat in het onderste deel van de koelkast moet
worden geplaatst om de koudste zone daarvan aan te geven.

Dagelijks gebruik 11

Clean Air Control Filter

Achter het klepje van de luchthendel bevindt zich een koolstoffilter.
Het filter zuivert de lucht van ongewenste geuren in het koelvak waardoor de bewaarkwali­teit wordt verbeterd.
Bij levering zit het filter in een plastic zak. Raadpleeg 'Installatie van de Clean Air Control­filter' voor instructies.

Zorg er voor een goede werking voor dat het klepje van de luchthendel is gesloten.

Verplaatsbare schappen

De wanden van de koelkast zijn voorzien van een
aantal geleiders zodat de schappen op de gewen­ste plaats gezet kunnen worden.

Het plaatsen van de deurschappen

Om het bewaren van voedselpakketten van verschillende afmetingen mogelijk te maken,
kunnen de schappen op verschillende hoogtes geplaatst worden.

12 Nuttige aanwijzingen en tips

Flessenrek

Plaats de flessen (met de openingen naar voren
gericht) in het voorgeplaatste schap.

Als het schap horizontaal geplaatst is, mogen al­leen afgesloten flessen worden neergezet.

Dit schap voor een flessenhouder kan worden ge­kanteld om vooraf geopende flessen te bewaren.
Trek hiervoor de houder omhoog zodat deze omh­oog draait en op het niveau erboven kan worden
geplaatst.

NUTTIGE AANWIJZINGEN EN TIPS

Tips voor energiebesparing

• De deur niet vaker openen of open laten staan dan strikt noodzakelijk.

• Als de omgevingstemperatuur hoog is, de thermostaatknop op een lage temperatuur

staat en het apparaat volledig gevuld is, kan de compressor continu aan staan waardoor
er ijs op de verdamper ontstaat. Als dit gebeurt, zet u de thermostaatknop naar een war­mere instelling om de koelkast automatisch te laten ontdooien en zo elektriciteitsver­bruik te besparen.

Tips voor het koelen van vers voedsel

Om de beste prestatie te verkrijgen:

• Zet geen warm voedsel of verdampende vloeistoffen in de koelkast

• dek het voedsel af of verpak het, in het bijzonder als het een sterke geur heeft

• plaats het voedsel zodanig dat de lucht er vrijelijk omheen kan circuleren

Nuttige tips voor het koelen

Nuttige tips:
Vlees (alle soorten) in plastic zakken verpakken en op het glazen schap leggen, boven de
groentelade.
Bewaar het, voor de veiligheid, slechts een of maximaal twee dagen op deze manier.
Gekookt voedsel, koude schotels, enz.: deze moeten afgedekt worden en mogen op wille­keurig welk schap gezet worden.
Fruit en groente: deze moeten zorgvuldig schoongemaakt worden en in de speciaal daar­voor bedoelde lade(n) geplaatst worden.
Boter en kaas: dit moet in speciale luchtdichte bakjes gelegd of in aluminiumfolie of plastic
zakjes gewikkeld worden om zoveel mogelijk lucht buiten te sluiten.
Melkflessen: deze moeten een afdekdop hebben en opgeslagen worden in het flessenrek in
de deur.
Bananen, aardappelen, uien en knoflook, indien niet verpakt, mogen niet in de koelkast be­waard worden.

Onderhoud en reiniging

ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

LET OP!

Voordat u welke onderhoudshandeling dan ook verricht, de stekker uit het stopcontact
trekken.

Het koelcircuit van dit apparaat bevat koolwaterstoffen; onderhoud en herladen mag alleen
uitgevoerd worden door bevoegde technici.

Terugplaatsen van het Clean Air Control-filter

Voor de beste prestaties dient het Clean Air Control-filter eens per jaar te worden vervan­gen.
Nieuwe actieve filters zijn verkrijgbaar bij uw vakhandelaar.
Raadpleeg 'Installatie van de Clean Air Control-filter' voor instructies.

Periodieke reiniging

Het apparaat moet regelmatig worden schoongemaakt:

• maak de binnenkant en de accessoires schoon met lauw water en wat neutrale zeep.

• controleer de afdichtingen regelmatig en wrijf ze schoon om u ervan te verzekeren dat

ze schoon zijn en vrij van restjes zijn.

• spoel ze af en maak ze grondig droog.
Trek niet aan leidingen en/of kabels aan de binnenkant van de kast en verplaats of bescha-

dig ze niet.
Gebruik nooit schoonmaakmiddelen, schuurpoeders, erg geparfumeerde reinigingsproduc­ten en waspolijstmiddelen om de binnenkant schoon te maken, aangezien deze het opper­vlak beschadigen en een sterke geur achterlaten.

Maak de condensor (zwart rooster) en de compressor op de achterkant van het apparaat
schoon met een borstel of stofzuiger. Deze handeling zal de prestatie van het apparaat ver­beteren en het elektriciteitsverbruik besparen.

Zorg ervoor dat u het koelsysteem niet beschadigt.

Veel normaal verkrijgbare keukenreinigers bevatten chemicaliën die de kunststoffen die in
dit apparaat gebruikt zijn kunnen aantasten/beschadigen. Daarom wordt het aanbevolen de
buitenkant van dit apparaat alleen schoon te maken met warm water met een beetje af­wasmiddel.
Steek, na het schoonmaken van het apparaat, de stekker weer in het stopcontact.

Het ontdooien van de koelkast

Rijp wordt elke keer als de compressormotor tijdens normale werking stopt, automatisch
van de verdamper van het koelvak verwijderd. Het dooiwater loopt via een gootje in een
speciale opvangbak aan de achterkant van het apparaat, boven de compressormotor, waar
het verdampt.

14 Problemen oplossen

Het is belangrijk om het afvoergaatje van het
dooiwater in het midden van het koelvak regel­matig schoon te maken, om te voorkomen dat het
water overloopt en op het voedsel in de koelkast
gaat druppelen. Gebruik daarvoor de speciale rei­niger, die al in het afvoergaatje zit.

Periodes dat het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt

Als het apparaat gedurende lange tijd niet gebruikt wordt, neem dan de volgende voor­zorgsmaatregelen:

• trek de stekker uit het stopcontact

• verwijder al het voedsel,

•

ontdooi de koelkast

• laat de deur/deuren op een kier staan om de vorming van onaangename luchtjes te

voorkomen.
Als uw apparaat aan blijft staan, vraag dan iemand om het zo nu en dan te controleren, om
te voorkomen dat het bewaarde voedsel bederft, als de stroom uitvalt.

WAARSCHUWING!

Voordat u storingen opspoort, de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.
Het opsporen van storingen die niet in deze handleiding vermeld zijn, dient te worden ver­richt door een gekwalificeerd technicus of deskundig persoon.

Er zijn tijdens de normale werking geluiden te horen (compressor, koelcircuit).

Lees voor uw eigen veiligheid en correcte werking van het apparaat eerst de "veiligheidsin­formatie" aandachtig door, alvorens het apparaat te installeren.

Plaats

Het apparaat moet ver van hittebronnen, zoals ra­diatoren, boilers, direct zonlicht enz., vandaan
worden geïnstalleerd. Zorg er voor dat lucht vrij
kan circuleren aan de achterkant van het meubel.
Als het apparaat onder een hangend keukenkastje
wordt geplaatst, moet de minimale afstand tussen
de bovenkant van het meubel en het wandkastje
minstens 100 mm bedragen om optimale presta­ties te garanderen. Voor de beste prestatie kunt u
het apparaat beter niet onder een hangend keu­kenkastje zetten. De verstelbare voetjes aan de
onderkant van het apparaat garanderen een
nauwkeurig horizontale uitlijning.
Als het meubel in een hoek is geplaatst en de zij­kant bevat scharnieren die naar de muur wijzen, moet de afstand tussen de muur en het
meubel ten minste 10 mm zijn om de deur ver genoeg open te krijgen zodat de planken
verwijderd kunnen worden.

Het moet mogelijk zijn het apparaat van de hoofdstroomtoevoer af te koppelen; de stekker

Als u een oud apparaat weggooit dat voorzien is van een deurslot of vergrendeling, zorg er
dan voor dat dit onbruikbaar gemaakt wordt, zodat kinderen er niet in opgesloten kunnen
raken.

De stekker van het apparaat moet na installatie toegankelijk zijn.

Installeer dit apparaat op een plaats waar de omgevingstemperatuur overeenkomt met de
klimaatklasse die vermeld is op het typeplaatje van het apparaat:

Elektrische aansluiting

Zorg er vóór het aansluiten voor dat het voltage en de frequentie op het typeplaatje over­eenkomen met de stroomtoevoer in uw huis.
Het apparaat moet geaard zijn. De netsnoerstekker is voorzien van een contact voor dit
doel. Als het stopcontact niet geaard is, sluit het apparaat dan aan op een afzonderlijk aar­depunt, in overeenstemming met de geldende regels, raadpleeg hiervoor een gekwalificeerd
elektricien.
De fabrikant neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid op zich als de bovenstaande veiligheids­maatregelen niet worden nageleefd.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de EU. richtlijnen.

Installatie van het Clean Air Control-filter

Het Clean Air Control-filter is een filter met actieve koolstof dat vervelende geurtjes absor­beert. Hierdoor blijven de optimale smaak en het aroma van het voedsel bewaard zonder
dat luchtjes van het ene levensmiddel op het andere worden overgebracht.
Bij levering zit het koolstoffilter in een plastic zak om het prestatievermogen te behouden.

1. Open het klepje van de luchthendel.

2. Haal het filter uit de plastic zak.

3. Plaats het filter in de gleuf in de achter­kant van het klepje van de luchthendel.

4. Sluit het klepje van de luchthendel.

Het filter moet voorzichtig worden gehan­teerd om te voorkomen dat deeltjes van het
oppervlak loskomen.
Zorg er voor een goede werking voor dat het
klepje van de luchthendel is gesloten.

Afstandsstukken achterkant

In het apparaat vindt u twee afstandsstukken
die geplaatst moeten worden zoals aangegeven
op de afbeelding.

onder de kop van de schroef, draai daarna de

Wij raden u aan de volgende werkzaamheden uit te voeren met iemand die de deur van het
apparaat tijdens de werkzaamheden stevig vasthoudt. Plaats het apparaat voorzichtig met
de achterkant op de grond.
Als u de richting waarop de deur opengaat wilt veranderen, voert u de volgende procedure
uit:

1. Verwijder het klik-in ventilatierooster, verwijder de dop (e) van het ventilatierooster en

monteer de dop aan de andere kant.

2. Verwijder het onderste scharnier (A)

door de bevestigingsschroeven los te
draaien.

3. Verwijder de deur.

4. Schroef de pen (f) op het onderste

scharnier los en monteer de pen op de
andere kant.

6. Plaats de deur in het bovenste scharnier.

7. Installeer het ventilatierooster door het

rooster vast te klikken.

8. Schroef de hendel los. Verwijder de dop

met een drevel. Installeer de hendel en
de dop aan de andere kant. Haal de
twee doppen uit het zakje met de acces­soires en maak de gaten die na de ver­wijdering van de hendel zijn overgeble­ven, daarmee dicht.

9. Verzeker u ervan dat de voorste plaat

van de deur zich evenwijdig bevindt aan
de voorste plaat van de bovenkant.

10. Zet het apparaat op zijn plaats, water-

pas, en wacht minstens vier uur voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.

Voer een laatste controle uit om te zorgen dat:

• Alle schroeven zijn aangehaald.

• De magnetische pakking goed aansluit op de koelkast.

• De deur goed open en dicht gaat.

Als de omgevingstemperatuur laag is (bijv. in de winter), kan het zijn dat de pakking niet
precies op de koelkast past. Wacht in dat geval tot de pakking op natuurlijke wijze gaat pas­sen.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appli-

During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the com­ponents of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:
– avoid open flames and sources of ignition
– thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify this product in any way. Any damage

to the cord may cause a short-circuit, fire and/or electric shock.

Any electrical component (power cord, plug, compressor) must be replaced by a certified

Daily use

to relevant instructions.

Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean
the drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect in the bottom of the appliance.

Installation

For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions given in specific paragraphs.

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it. Do not connect the appli­ance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it.
In that case retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before connecting the appliance to allow the oil
to flow back in the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this leads to overheat­ing. To achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant to installation.

• Wherever possible the back of the product should be against a wall to avoid touching or
catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burn.

• The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.

• Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the installation of the appliance.

Service

• Any electrical work required to do the servicing of the appliance should be carried out by
a qualified electrician or competent person.

• This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare
parts must be used.

Environment Protection

This appliance does not contain gasses which could damage the ozone layer, in either its
refrigerant circuit or insulation materials. The appliance shall not be discarded together
with the urban refuse and rubbish. The insulation foam contains flammable gases: the ap­pliance shall be disposed according to the applicable regulations to obtain from your local
authorities. Avoid damaging the cooling unit, especially at the rear near the heat exchang­er. The materials used on this appliance marked by the symbol

are recyclable.

Switching on

To switch on the appliance do these steps:

1. Connect the mains plug to the power socket.

2. Press the ON/OFF button if the display is off.

3. The alarm buzzer could operate after few seconds.

To reset the alarm refer to "High temperature alarm".

4. The temperature indicators show the set default temperature.
To select a different set temperature refer to "Temperature regulation".

Switching off

To switch off the appliance do these steps:

1. Press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.

2. The display switches off.

3. To disconnect the appliance from the power disconnect the mains plug from the power

socket.

Temperature regulation

The set temperature of the fridge may be adjusted by pressing the temperature button.
Set default temperature:

• +5°C for the fridge
The temperature indicator shows the set temperature.
The set temperature will be reached within 24 hours.

After a power failure the set temperature remains stored.

Minute Minder function

The Minute Minder function is to be used to set an acoustic alarm at the preferred time,
useful for example when a recipe requires to cool down a mixture for a certain lenght of
time.

Control panel

To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears.

The Minute Minder indicator flashes.
The Timer shows the set value (30 minutes) for a few seconds.

2. Press the Timer regulator button to change the Timer set value from 1 to 90 minutes.

3. Press the OK button to confirm.

The Minute Minder indicator is shown.

The Timer start to flash (min).
At the end of the countdown the Minute Minder indicator flashes and an audible alarm
sounds:

1. press OK button to switch off the sound and terminate the function.
It is possible to deactivate the function at any time during the countdown:

1. Press the Mode button until the Minute Minder indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Minute Minder indicator goes off.
It is possible to change the time at any time during the countdown and at the end by press­ing the Temperature colder button and the Temperature warmer button.

Child Lock function

To lock the buttons from unintentional operation select the Child Lock function.
To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears.

2. The Child Lock indicator flashes.

3. Press the OK button to confirm.

The Child Lock indicator is shown.
To switch off the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the Child Lock indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Child Lock indicator goes off.

COOLMATIC function

If you need to insert a large amount of warm food, for example after doing the grocery
shopping, we suggest activating the COOLMATIC function to chill the products more rapidly
and to avoid warming the other food which is already in the refrigerator.
To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears.

The COOLMATIC indicator flashes.

The fridge temperature indicator shows the set temperature of +2°C .

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

The COOLMATIC indicator is shown.
The COOLMATIC function shuts off automatically after approximately 6 hours.
To switch off the function before its automatic end:

3. The COOLMATIC indicator goes off.
The function switches off by selecting a different fridge set temperature.

Quick Chill function

The Quick Chill function provide rapid cooling of
cans and bottles through cold airstream.

1. Put the cans/bottles on the Quick Chill bottle

holder.

2. Open the air lever (1) towards maximum.

3. Activate COOLMATIC function.

4. The Quick Chill function stops automatically

after approximately 6 hours.

5. When the cooling is finished return the air

lever (1) towards minimum.
To cancel the function at any time, press COOL-

MATIC button.

The Quick Chill bottle holder can be removed if
not used.

Holiday function

This function allows you to keep the refrigerator closed and empty during a long holiday
period without the formation of a bad smell.

The fridge compartment must be empty with holiday function on.

To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears.

The Holiday indicator flashes.

The fridge temperature indicator shows the set temperature.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

The Holiday indicator is shown.
To switch off the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the Holiday indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Holiday indicator goes off.
The function switches off by selecting a different fridge set temperature.

Door open alarm

An acoustic alarm will sound if the door is left open for a few minutes. The door open alarm
conditions are indicated by:

• flashing Alarm indicator

• acoustic buzzer
When normal conditions are restored (door closed), the alarm will stop.
During the alarm, the buzzer can be switched off by pressing any button.

FIRST USE

Cleaning the interior

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories
with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand­new product, then dry thoroughly.

Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish.

DAILY USE

this appliance is sold in France.
In accordance with regulations valid in this country it must be provided with a special de­vice (see figure) placed in the lower compartment of the fridge to indicate the coldest zone
of it.

Clean Air Control Filter

Your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter behind the air lever flap.
The filter purifies the air from unwanted odours in the fridge compartment preserving food
quality.
On delivery the filter is in a plastic bag. Refer to "Installation of the Clean Air Control filter"
for instructions.

Make sure that the air lever flap is closed to obtain proper function.

30 Helpful hints and tips

Movable shelves

The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a
series of runners so that the shelves can be posi­tioned as desired.

Positioning the door shelves

To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at dif­ferent heights.

Bottle rack

Place the bottles (with the opening facing front)
in the pre-positioned shelf.

If the shelf is positioned horizontally, place only
closed bottles.

This bottle holder shelf can be tilted in order to
store previously opened bottles. To obtain this re­sult, pull the shelf up so it can rotate upwards and
be placed on the next higher level.

HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS

Hints for energy saving

• Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary.

• If the ambient temperature is high and the Temperature Regulator is set to low tempera-

ture and the appliance is fully loaded, the compressor may run continuously, causing
frost or ice on the evaporator. If this happens, set the Temperature Regulator toward
warmer settings to allow automatic defrosting and so a saving in electricity consump­tion.

Hints for fresh food refrigeration

To obtain the best performance:

• do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator

Care and Cleaning

• do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour

• position food so that air can circulate freely around it

Hints for refrigeration

Useful hints:
Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable
drawer.
For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most.
Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf.
Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special draw­er(s) provided.
Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wrapped in alu­minium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible.
Milk bottles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the bottle rack on the door.
Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.

CARE AND CLEANING

CAUTION!

Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must
therefore only be carried out by authorized technicians.

Replacing the Clean Air Control filter

To get the best performance replace the Clean Air Control filter once every year.
New active filters can be purchased from your local dealer.
Refer to "Installation of the Clean Air Control filter" for instructions.

Periodic cleaning

The equipment has to be cleaned regularly:

• clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap.

• regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from

debris.

• rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not pull, move or damage any pipes and/or cables inside the cabinet.

Never use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products or wax polishes
to clean the interior as this will damage the surface and leave a strong odour.

Clean the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a

and save electricity consumption.

32 What to do if…

Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the
plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of
this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added.
After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains supply.

Defrosting of the refrigerator

Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment ev­ery time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water drains out
through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor com­pressor, where it evaporates.
It is important to periodically clean the defrost
water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator
compartment channel to prevent the water over­flowing and dripping onto the food inside. Use
the special cleaner provided, which you will find
already inserted into the drain hole.

Periods of non-operation

When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions:

• disconnect the appliance from electricity supply

• remove all food

• leave the door/doors ajar to prevent unpleasant smells.
If the cabinet will be kept on, ask somebody to check it once in a while to prevent the food

INSTALLATION

WARNING!

Read the "Safety Information" carefully for your safety and correct operation of the appli­ance before installing the appliance.

Location

The appliance should be installed well away from
sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct
sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely
around the back of the cabinet. To ensure best
performance, if the appliance is positioned below
an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance
between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit
must be at least 100 mm . Ideally, however, the
appliance should not be positioned below over­hanging wall units. Accurate levelling is ensured
by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the
cabinet.
If the cabinet is placed in a corner and the side
with the hinges facing the wall, the distance be­tween the wall and the cabinet must be at least 10 mm to allow the door to open enough
so that the shelves can be removed.

It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply; the plug
must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Electrical connection

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate corre­spond to your domestic power supply.
The appliance must be earthed. The power supply cable plug is provided with a contact for
this purpose. If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed, connect the appliance to a
separate earth in compliance with current regulations, consulting a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the above safety precautions are not ob­served.
This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives.

Installation of the Clean Air Control filter

The Clean Air Control filter is an active carbon filter which absorbs bad odours maintain the
best flavour and aroma for all foodstuffs without risk of odour cross contamination.
On delivery the carbon filter is in a plastic bag to preserve performance.

1. Open the air lever flap.

2. Take the filter out of the plastic bag.

3. Insert the filter in the slot found in the
back of the air lever flap.

4. Close the air lever flap.

The filter should be handled carefully so frag­ments do not loosen from the surface.
Make sure that the air lever flap is closed to
obtain proper function.

Rear spacers

Inside the appliance you find two spacers which
must be fitted as shown in the figure.

Slacken the screws and insert the spacer under
the screw head, then retighten the screws.

Door reversibility

WARNING!

Before carrying out any operations, remove the plug from the power socket.

To carry out the following operations, we suggest that this be made with another person
that will keep a firm hold on the door of the appliance during the operations. Gently lay the
appliance on its back.
To change the opening direction of the door, do these steps:

1. Remove the clip-in ventilation grille, remove the plug (e) from the ventilation grille

and install it on the opposite side.

2. Remove the bottom hinge (A) by un-

screwing the fixing screws.

3. Remove the door.

4. Unscrew the pin (f) of the bottom hinge

and install it on the opposite side.

5. Unscrew the pin of the upper hinge and

install it on the opposite side.

6. Install the door in the upper hinge.

7. Install the ventilation grille, clipping it

into place.

8. Unscrew the handle. Remove the plug

with a punch. Install the handle and the
plug on opposite side. Take from the ac­cessory bag the two plugs and cover the
holes left open after having removed
the handle.

9. Make sure that the front board of the

door is parallel to the front board of the
top.

10. Reposition, level the appliance, wait for

at least four hours and then connect it
to the power socket.

Do a final check to make sure that:

• All screws are tightened.

• The magnetic seal adheres to the cabinet.

• The door opens and closes correctly.

If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the
cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket.

ATTENZIONE

Accertarsi che le aperture di ventilazione non siano ostruite.

• L'apparecchiatura è progettata per la conservazione domestica di alimenti e/o bevande

nelle modalità descritte nelle presenti istruzioni.

• Non utilizzare dispositivi meccanici o altri mezzi artificiali per accelerare lo sbrinamento.

• Non utilizzare altre apparecchiature elettriche (per esempio gelatiere) all'interno del fri-

gorifero, salvo quelle approvate per tale scopo dal produttore.

• Non danneggiare il circuito refrigerante.

• Il circuito refrigerante dell'apparecchiatura contiene isobutano (R600a), un gas naturale

con un elevato livello di compatibilità ambientale che, tuttavia, è infiammabile.
Durante il trasporto e l'installazione dell'apparecchiatura, assicurarsi che nessuno dei

componenti del circuito refrigerante venga danneggiato.
In caso di danneggiamento del circuito refrigerante:

AVVERTENZA

Tutti i componenti elettrici (cavo di alimentazione, spina, compressore) devono essere sosti­tuiti da un tecnico certificato o da personale d'assistenza qualificato.

1. Non collegare prolunghe al cavo di alimentazione.

2. Evitare che il lato posteriore dell'apparecchiatura possa schiacciare o danneggiare la
spina, causandone il surriscaldamento con un conseguente rischio di incendio.

3. La spina dell'apparecchiatura deve trovarsi in una posizione accessibile.

4. Evitare di tirare il cavo di alimentazione.

5. Se la presa elettrica non è perfettamente stabile, non inserire la spina. Il collegamen­to potrebbe provocare scosse elettriche o creare un rischio di incendio.

Uso normale

• Non appoggiare pentole calde sulle parti in plastica dell'apparecchiatura.

• Non riporre gas o liquidi infiammabili nell'apparecchio: i contenitori potrebbero esplode­re.

• Osservare rigorosamente le raccomandazioni del produttore riguardo alla conservazione
degli alimenti. Leggere attentamente le relative istruzioni.

Pulizia e cura

• Prima di eseguire qualunque intervento di manutenzione, spegnere l'apparecchiatura ed
estrarre la spina dalla presa.

• Non pulire l'apparecchiatura con oggetti metallici.

• Ispezionare regolarmente lo scarico dell'acqua di sbrinamento. Lo scarico deve essere
sempre perfettamente libero. L'ostruzione dello scarico può causare un deposito di acqua
sul fondo dell'apparecchiatura.

Installazione

Per il collegamento elettrico, seguire attentamente le istruzioni dei paragrafi corrispondenti.

• Disimballare l'apparecchio e assicurarsi che non presenti danni. Non collegare l'apparec­chio se è danneggiato. Segnalare immediatamente gli eventuali danni al negozio in cui è
stato acquistato. In questo caso conservare l'imballaggio.

• Si consiglia di attendere almeno due ore prima di collegare l'apparecchio per consentire
all'olio di arrivare nel compressore.

• Attorno all'apparecchio vi deve essere un'adeguata circolazione dell'aria, altrimenti si può
surriscaldare. Per ottenere una ventilazione sufficiente seguire le istruzioni di installazio­ne.

• Se possibile il retro dell'apparecchio dovrebbe essere posizionato contro una parete per
evitare di toccare le parti calde o di rimanervi impigliati (compressore, condensatore),
evitando così possibili scottature.

• L'apparecchio non deve essere posto vicino a radiatori o piani di cottura a gas.

• Installare l'apparecchio in modo che la presa rimanga accessibile.

Per il collegamento idrico, usare solo sorgenti d'acqua potabile.

Assistenza tecnica

• Gli interventi elettrici sull'apparecchiatura devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da elet­tricisti qualificati o da personale competente.

• Gli interventi di assistenza devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da tecnici autorizzati e
utilizzando solo ricambi originali.

Tutela ambientale

Questo apparecchio non contiene gas che potrebbero danneggiare lo strato di ozono nel
circuito refrigerante o nei materiali isolanti. L'apparecchio non deve essere smaltito assieme
ai rifiuti urbani e alla spazzatura. La schiuma dell'isolamento contiene gas infiammabili: lo
smaltimento dell'apparecchio va eseguito secondo le prescrizioni vigenti da richiedere alle
autorità locali. Evitare di danneggiare il gruppo refrigerante, specialmente nella parte po­steriore vicino allo scambiatore di calore. I materiali usati su questo apparecchio contrasse­gnati dal simbolo

sono riciclabili.

Accensione

Per accendere l'apparecchiatura procedere come segue:

1. Inserire la spina nella presa di alimentazione.

2. Premere il tasto ON/OFF se il display è spento.

3. Il segnale acustico d'allarme potrebbe attivarsi dopo alcuni secondi.

Per resettare l'allarme, consultare la sezione "Allarme di alta temperatura".

4. Gli indicatori di temperatura visualizzano la temperatura impostata predefinita.
Per selezionare una temperatura diversa, consultare la sezione "Regolazione della tempera­tura".

Spegnimento

Per spegnere l'apparecchiatura, procedere come segue:

1. Premere il tasto ON/OFF per 5 secondi.

2. Il display si spegne.

3. Per scollegare l’apparecchiatura dalla corrente elettrica, staccare la spina dalla presa di

alimentazione.

Regolazione della temperatura

È possibile regolare la temperatura impostata del frigorifero, premendo il tasto temperatura.
Impostare la temperatura predefinita:

• +5°C per il frigorifero
Gli indicatori della temperatura visualizzano la temperatura impostata.
La temperatura impostata verrà raggiunta entro 24 ore.

Dopo un'interruzione di corrente la temperatura impostata rimane in memoria.

FunzioneMinute Minder

La funzione Minute Minder serve per impostare un segnale acustico in un preciso momento,
utile per esempio quando una pietanza richiede il raffreddamento di alimenti misti per un
certo periodo di tempo.
Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode finché non appare l'icona corrispondente.

L'indicatore Minute Minder lampeggia.
Il timer visualizza il valore impostato (30 minuti) per alcuni secondi.

2. Premere il tasto Regolatore timer per modificare il valore impostato da 1 a 90 minuti.

3. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

La spia Minute Minder viene visualizzata.

Il Timer inizia a lampeggiare (min).
Al termine del conto alla rovescia la spia Minute Minder lampeggia e viene emesso un se­gnale acustico:

1. premere il tasto OK per spegnere il segnale acustico e porre fine alla funzione.
È possibile disattivare la funzione in qualsiasi momento durante il conto alla rovescia:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando la spia Minute Minder lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. La spia Minute Minder si spegne.
È possibile modificare l'ora in qualsiasi momento durante il conto alla rovescia e alla fine
premendo il tasto Temperatura più fredda ed il Tasto temperatura più calda.

Per evitare che i tasti vengano premuti accidentalmente, selezionare la funzione Sicurezza
Bambini.
Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando non appare l'icona corrispondente.

2. L'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini lampeggia.

3. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

Viene visualizzato l'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini.
Per disattivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando l'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini non lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. L'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini si spegne.

FunzioneCOOLMATIC

Se occorre inserire una grande quantità di alimenti nel frigorifero, per esempio al ritorno
dalla spesa, è consigliabile attivare la funzione COOLMATIC per raffreddare più rapidamente
gli alimenti introdotti nel frigorifero e non intiepidire i cibi già presenti al suo interno.
Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode finché non appare l'icona corrispondente.

L'indicatore COOLMATIC lampeggia.

L'indicatore della temperatura del frigorifero visualizza una temperatura di +2 °C.

La spia COOLMATIC viene visualizzata.
La funzione COOLMATIC si disattiva automaticamente dopo circa 6 ore.
Per disattivare la funzione prima dello spegnimento automatico:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando l'indicatore COOLMATIC lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. La spia COOLMATIC si spegne.
La funzione si disattiva selezionando un'impostazione di temperatura per il frigorifero di-

versa.

Funzione Quick Chill

La funzione Quick Chill consente il raffreddamen­to rapido di lattine e bottiglie per mezzo di un
flusso d'aria fredda.

1. Sistemare le lattine/bottiglie nel portabottiglie

Quick Chill.

2. Portare la leva dell'aria (1) al massimo.

3. Attivare la funzione COOLMATIC.

4. La funzione Quick Chill si interrompe automa-

ticamente dopo circa 6 ore.

5. Una volta terminato il raffreddamento, ripor-

tare la leva dell'aria (1) al minimo.
Per disattivare la funzione in qualsiasi momento

premere il tasto COOLMATIC .

È possibile rimuovere il portabottiglie Quick Chill se non lo si utilizza.

Funzione Holiday

Questa funzione consente di mantenere il frigorifero chiuso e vuoto durante un lungo pe­riodo di vacanza senza che si formino odori sgradevoli.

Quando si attiva la funzione Holiday, il vano frigorifero deve essere vuoto.

Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando non appare l'icona corrispondente.

L'indicatore Holiday lampeggia.

L'indicatore della temperatura del frigorifero visualizza la temperatura impostata.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

Viene visualizzato l'indicatore Holiday.
Per disattivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando l'indicatore Holiday non lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. L'indicatore Holiday si spegne.

Primo utilizzo

La funzione si disattiva selezionando un'impostazione di temperatura per il frigorifero di­versa.

Allarme porta aperta

Se la porta è lasciata aperta per alcuni minuti, viene emesso un segnale acustico. Le condi­zioni di allarme della porta aperta sono indicate da:

• indicatore allarme lampeggiante

• segnale acustico
Al ripristino delle condizioni normali (porta chiusa), l'allarme si interrompe.
Durante l'allarme, il segnale acustico può essere disattivato premendo qualsiasi tasto.

PRIMO UTILIZZO

Pulizia dell'interno

Filtro Clean Air Control

Ripiani mobili

Le guide presenti sulle pareti del frigorifero per­mettono di posizionare i ripiani a diverse altezze.

Posizionamento delle mensole

Per facilitare l'introduzione di alimenti di diverse dimensioni, le mensole della porta possono
essere posizionate ad altezze differenti.

Griglia portabottiglie

Disporre le bottiglie (con l'apertura in avanti) sul­l'apposito ripiano.

Se il ripiano è in posizione orizzontale, utilizzarlo
solo per le bottiglie chiuse.

Questo ripiano può essere inclinato per consentire
l'appoggio di bottiglie già aperte. Tirare il ripiano e
ruotarlo verso l'alto in modo da appoggiarlo al li­vello superiore.

CONSIGLI E SUGGERIMENTI UTILI

Consigli per il risparmio energetico

• Non aprire frequentemente la porta e non lasciarla aperta più di quanto assolutamente

necessario.

• Se la temperatura ambiente è elevata, il termostato è impostato su una regolazione alta

e l'apparecchio è a pieno carico, il compressore può funzionare in continuo causando la
formazione di brina o ghiaccio sull'evaporatore. In questo caso, ruotare il termostato su
una regolazione più bassa per consentire lo scongelamento automatico risparmiando co­sì energia.

Pulizia e manutenzione

Consigli per la refrigerazione di cibi freschi

Per ottenere i migliori risultati:

• non riporre nel frigorifero cibi caldi o liquidi in fase di evaporazione

• coprire o avvolgere il cibo, in particolare se emana un odore forte

• posizionare il cibo in modo che l'aria possa circolare liberamente attorno ad esso

Consigli per la refrigerazione

Consigli utili:
Carne (tutti i tipi): avvolgerla in sacchetti di politene e collocarla sul ripiano di vetro sopra il
cassetto delle verdure.
Per motivi di sicurezza, conservarla in queste condizioni solo per uno o due giorni al massi­mo.
Cibi cucinati, piatti freddi ecc..: dovrebbero essere coperti e possono essere collocati su
qualsiasi ripiano.
Frutta e verdura: dovrebbero essere pulite accuratamente e collocate nell'apposito/i casset­to/i speciale/i.
Burro e formaggio: dovrebbero essere posti in contenitori ermetici speciali o avvolti in pelli­cole di alluminio o sacchetti di politene per escludere per quanto possibile l'aria.
Bottiglie di latte: dovrebbero essere tappate e conservate nell'apposito ripiano sulla porta.
Non conservare nel frigorifero banane, patate, cipolle o aglio se non sono confezionati.

Sostituzione del filtro Clean Air Control

Per ottenere le migliori prestazioni, è consigliabile sostituire il filtro Clean Air Control una
volta all'anno.
I nuovi filtri attivi sono disponibili presso il distributore di zona.

Pulizia periodica

L'apparecchio deve essere pulito regolarmente:

• Pulire l'interno e gli accessori con acqua tiepida e un po' di sapone neutro.

• Controllare regolarmente le guarnizioni della porta e verificare che siano pulite e prive di

residui.

• Risciacquare e asciugare accuratamente.
Non tirare, spostare o danneggiare tubi e/o cavi all'interno dell'apparecchio.

Non usare mai detergenti, polveri abrasive, prodotti per la pulizia con una forte profuma­zione o cere lucidanti per pulire l'interno, in quanto danneggiano la superficie e lasciano un
odore forte.

Pulire il condensatore (griglia nera) e il compressore sul retro con una spazzola o un aspira­polvere. Questa operazione migliorerà le prestazioni dell'apparecchio riducendo i consumi
elettrici.

Non danneggiare il sistema di raffreddamento.

Molti detergenti per cucine di marca contengono sostanze chimiche in grado di attaccare/
danneggiare la plastica impiegata in questo apparecchio. Per questo motivo si raccomanda
di pulire l'involucro esterno dell'apparecchio solo con acqua calda con un po' di liquido de­tergente.
Dopo la pulizia, ricollegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione.

Sbrinamento del vano frigorifero

Durante l'uso normale, la brina viene eliminata automaticamente dall'evaporatore del vano
frigorifero ogni volta che il motocompressore si arresta. L'acqua di sbrinamento giunge at­traverso un condotto in un apposito recipiente posto sul retro dell'apparecchio, sopra il mo­tocompressore, dove evapora.
È importante pulire periodicamente il foro di sca­rico dell'acqua di sbrinamento, situato al centro
del canale sulla parete posteriore, per evitare che
l'acqua fuoriesca sugli alimenti. Usare l'apposito
utensile già inserito nel foro di scarico.

Periodi di inutilizzo

Quando l'apparecchio non è utilizzato per lunghi periodi, adottare le seguenti precauzioni:

• scollegare l'apparecchio dalla rete elettrica

• rimuovere tutto il cibo

Leggere con attenzione le "Informazioni per la sicurezza" per la vostra sicurezza e per il cor­retto funzionamento dell'apparecchio prima di procedere all'installazione.

Posizione

L'apparecchiatura deve essere installata lontano
da fonti di calore (termosifoni, boiler, luce solare
diretta ecc.). Verificare che sul lato posteriore sia
garantita un'adeguata circolazione dell'aria. Per
ottenere prestazioni ottimali, se l'apparecchio è
installato al di sotto di un pensile, si raccomanda
di mantenere una distanza minima tra quest'ulti­mo e lo spigolo superiore dell'apparecchio di al­meno 100 mm . Se possibile, tuttavia, evitare di
installare l'apparecchio sotto un pensile. Per con­sentire un perfetto livellamento dell'apparecchio
sono provvisti uno o più piedini regolabili.
Se l'apparecchio è installato in un angolo con il
lato incernierato verso la parete, la distanza ri­spetto a quest'ultima deve essere di almeno 10 mm, in modo che la porta possa aprirsi in
misura sufficiente per consentire la rimozione dei ripiani.

Deve essere possibile scollegare l'apparecchiatura dalla rete elettrica; eseguire perciò l'in­stallazione facendo sì che la spina rimanga facilmente accessibile.

Qualora occorra ritirare dall'uso un apparecchio con serratura, si raccomanda di rendere
quest'ultima inservibile per evitare che i bambini possano chiudersi all'interno.

La spina dell'apparecchio deve essere accessibile dopo l'installazione.

Installare l'apparecchio in un luogo la cui temperatura ambiente corrisponda alla classe cli­matica indicata sulla targhetta del modello:

Collegamento elettrico

Prima di inserire la spina, verificare che la tensione e la frequenza riportate sulla targhetta
corrispondano ai valori della rete elettrica domestica.
L'apparecchio deve essere collegato a massa. La spina del cavo di alimentazione è dotata di
un contatto a tale scopo. Se la presa della rete elettrica domestica non è collegata a massa,
collegare l'apparecchio ad una massa separata in conformità alle norme relative alla corren­te, consultando un elettricista qualificato.
Il fabbricante declina qualsiasi responsabilità se le precauzioni suddette non sono rispettate.
Il presente apparecchio è conforme alle direttive CEE.

Installazione del filtro Clean Air Control

Il filtro Clean Air Control è un filtro al carbone attivo che assorbe i cattivi odori e permette a
tutti gli alimenti conservati di mantenere le proprie proprietà organolettiche senza il rischio
di contaminazione di odori.
Alla consegna, il filtro è contenuto in una confezione di plastica, al fine di preservarne le
prestazioni.

1. Aprire il flap della leva dell'aria.

2. Togliere il filtro dalla confezione di plasti­ca.

3. Inserire il filtro nell'alloggiamento posto
sul retro del flap della leva dell'aria.

4. Chiudere il flap della leva dell'aria.

Maneggiare il filtro con attenzione per evitare
che eventuali frammenti si stacchino dalla su­perficie.
Accertarsi che il flap della leva dell'aria sia
chiuso per assicurare il corretto funzionamen­to.

Distanziatori posteriori

All'interno dell'apparecchio sono presenti due
distanziatori che devono essere montati come
illustrato nella figura.

Allentare le viti e inserire il distanziatore sotto la
testa della vite, infine riserrare le viti.

Possibilità di invertire la porta

AVVERTENZA

Prima di eseguire le operazioni descritte, estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Per eseguire le seguenti operazioni, si raccomanda di farsi aiutare da un'altra persona che
tenga ben ferma la porta dell'apparecchiatura. Appoggiare delicatamente l’apparecchiatura
sullo schienale.
Per modificare il senso di apertura dello sportello, procedere come segue:

1. Estrarre la griglia di ventilazione agganciata, estrarre la presa (e) dalla griglia di venti-

lazione e installarla sul lato opposto.

• Lo sportello si apra e si chiuda correttamente.

Se la temperatura ambiente è bassa (ad esempio in inverno), è possibile che la guarnizione
non aderisca perfettamente. In tal caso, attendere che aderisca naturalmente.
