The AUTO OFF function automatically deactivates the appliance to stop energy consumption when:
• Before you press Start/Pause button, if you do not use the appliance for about five minutes. All settings are cancelled. Press On/Off button to activate it again.
• After 5 minutes from the end of the washing programme. Once activated the appliance, the display shows the end of the cycle.

Indicator bars:
The empty indicator bars come on when the related fuctions are available with the set programme. In setting mode they fill accordingly to the function availability.
G TIME SAVE The symbol comes on when you set one of these functions: Shortened duration Extra quick
H The EXTRA RINSE symbol comes on when this function is activated.
I The PREWASH/STAIN symbols. The indicator bar fills accordingly
to the set function.
The OPTISENSE wash The Weight Sensor
The appliance adjusts automatically the cycle time to the laundry load to have PERFECT washing results in the minimum necessary time. After about 15 minutes from the start of the programme, the display shows the new time value.
With this special device, already during loading, the appliance shows the real cycle duration and the correct quantity of detergent to put for each type and amount of laundry. Since a small load may need less than half time of a full load, every
time you use the appliance you will appreciate the usefulness of the weight sensor and its instant time calculation.
Before First Use
START THE APPLIANCE
1 Activate the drain system:
put 2 litre of water in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser.
Daily Use
1 Open the water tap.
2 Connect the mains plug to the mains socket.
3 Press On/Off button to activate the appliance.
ALWAYS ACTIVATE THE APPLIANCE BEFORE LOADING THE LAUNDRY INTO THE DRUM.
4 Turn the programme knob to set a programme. The programme
indicator goes on.
5 The display shows the default temeprature, maximum spin speed and the empty indicator bar of the available functions. To change the default values or to set functions press the corresponding buttons.
6 If necessary, set the delay start function.
7 Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a time.
The maximum programme load ( ) and the laundry weight ( ) that you put in the drum appear on the display. The weight of the laundry updates by step of 0.5 kg.
2 Set and start a programme for cotton at the highest temperature without laundry to remove all possible dirt from the drum and the tub. Put a small quantity of detergent in the main wash compart- ment of the detergent dispenser.
1 If you put more laundry than the maximum load, the symbol flashes. You can wash your laundry anyway but the energy and water consumption increase. In any case the overload indication is available only for programmes with a maximum load lower than the appliance maximum load.
8 Close the door.
The display shows the detergent symbol and the percentage of the detergent to use ( ). To have PERFECT washing results with MINIMUM energy and water consumption follow this suggestion.
9 Put the detergent and additives in the correct compartment of the dispenser.
10 Press Start/Pause button to start the washing programme.
11 At the end of the programme the display shows a zero , the
indicator of the Start/Pause button and the door lock symbol go off. If you set the Rinse Hold function refer to “At the end of the programme” chapter in the user manual.
