Lees deze handleiding aandachtig door
voordat u het apparaat installeert of ge­bruikt:

• Voor uw eigen veiligheid en de vei­ligheid van uw eigendommen

• Voor het milieu

• Voor de correcte werking van het ap­paraat.

Bewaar deze instructies altijd bij het ap­paraat, ook wanneer u het verplaatst of
aan een ander geeft.
De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk
voor schade veroorzaakt door een fou­tieve installatie.

VEILIGHEID VAN KINDEREN
EN KWETSBARE MENSEN

• Mensen, met inbegrip van kinderen,
met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglij­ke of verstandelijke vermogens of
gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, mo­gen dit apparaat niet bedienen. Zij
moeten onder toezicht staan of in­structies krijgen over het gebruik van
dit apparaat van iemand die verant­woordelijk is voor hun veiligheid. Laat
kinderen niet met het apparaat spe­len.

• Houd alle verpakkingsmaterialen uit
de buurt van kinderen. Gevaar voor
verstikking of letsel.

• Houd alle reinigingsmiddelen uit de
buurt van kinderen.

• Houd kinderen en huisdieren uit de
buurt van het apparaat als de deur
open is.

• Voordat u de deur van het apparaat
sluit, dient u te controleren dat er
geen kinderen of huisdieren in de
trommel zitten.

• Als het apparaat is uitgerust met een
kinderbeveiliging, raden wij aan dit
te activeren.

KINDERBEVEILIGING

• Als u deze beveiliging activeert, kunt
u de deur niet sluiten. Dit voorkomt
dat u kinderen of huisdieren in de

trommel opsluit. Voor het inschake­len van de kinderbeveiliging ver­plaatst u het draaigedeelte met een
muntstuk rechtsom totdat de groef
horizontaal staat. Voor het uitschake­len van de kinderbeveiliging ver­plaatst u het draaigedeelte met een
muntstuk linksom totdat de groef
weer verticaal staat.

ALGEMENE VEILIGHEID

• Gebruik het apparaat niet voor pro­fessioneel gebruik. Dit apparaat is
uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoude­lijk gebruik.

• De specificaties van het apparaat
mogen niet worden veranderd. Risico
op letsel en beschadiging van het
apparaat.

• Plaats geen ontvlambare producten
of items die vochtig zijn door ont­vlambare producten in, bij of op het
apparaat. Brand- of explosiegevaar.

• Volg de veiligheidsinstructies van de
verpakking van het wasmiddel om
brandwonden aan ogen, mond en
keel te voorkomen.

• Zorg dat u alle metalen onderdelen
uit het wasgoed verwijdert. Hard en
scherp materiaal kan het apparaat
beschadigen.

• Raak het glas van de deur niet aan als
een programma in gebruik is. Het
glas kan heet worden (alleen bij ma­chines met laaddeur vooraan).

ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder fil­ters. Zorg dat de filters op de juiste
wijze worden geïnstalleerd. Een on­juiste installatie leidt tot waterlekka­ge.

MONTAGE

• Het apparaat is zwaar, wees voorzich­tig bij het verplaatsen van het appa­raat.

• Vervoer uw apparaat niet zonder
transportbouten, u kunt anders de in­terne componenten beschadigen en
lekkages en defecten veroorzaken.

• Installeer en sluit geen beschadigd
apparaat aan.

• Zorg dat u alle verpakkingsmateria­len en transportbouten verwijdert.

• Zorg er tijdens de installatie voor dat
de stekker uit het stopcontact is ge­haald.

• Alleen een erkende persoon mag de
elektrische installatie, het loodgie­terswerk en de installatie van het ap­paraat uitvoeren. Dit om het risico op
structurele schade of lichamelijk let­sel te voorkomen.

• Installeer of gebruik het apparaat
niet op een plek waar de tempera­tuur onder de 0 °C komt.

• Als u het apparaat installeert op
vloerbedekking, dient u ervoor te
zorgen dat er luchtcirculatie is tussen
het apparaat en de vloerbedekking.
Pas de stelvoeten aan om de nodige
ruimte tussen het apparaat en de
vloerbedekking te creëren.

Aansluiting aan de waterleiding

• Sluit het apparaat niet aan met oude
slangen die al gebruikt zijn. Gebruik
alleen nieuwe slangen.

• Zorg dat u de waterslangen niet be­schadigt.

NEDERLANDS

• Sluit het apparaat niet op nieuwe lei­dingen aan of op leidingen die lang
niet zijn gebruikt. Laat het water en­kele minuten stromen en sluit dan de
toevoerslang pas aan.

• Let er bij het eerste gebruik op dat
de watertoevoerslangen en de kop­pelingen niet lek zijn.

Aansluiting op het
elektriciteitsnet

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat is ge­aard.

• Controleer of de elektrische informa­tie op het typeplaatje overeenkomt
met de stroomvoorziening.

• Gebruik altijd een correct geïnstal­leerd schokvrij stopcontact.

• Gebruik geen meerwegstekkers en
verlengkabels. Er kan brand ontstaan.

• Vervang of verander het netsnoer
niet zelf. Neem contact op met het
servicecentrum.

• Zorg dat u de hoofdstekker en kabel
niet beschadigt.

• Steek de stekker pas in het stopcon­tact als de installatie is voltooid. Zorg
ervoor dat het netsnoer na installatie
bereikbaar is.

• Trek niet aan het snoer om het appa­raat los te koppelen van de netvoe­ding. Trek altijd aan de stekker.

HET APPARAAT AFVOEREN

1.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.

2.

Snij het netsnoer van het apparaat
af en gooi dit weg.

3.

Verwijder de deurvergrendeling.
Dit voorkomt dat u kinderen of
huisdieren in de trommel opsluit.
Gevaar voor verstikking (alleen bij
machines met laaddeur vooraan).

verzamelcontainer om het te recyclen.

MILIEUTIPS

Gebruik minder water en energie om
het milieu te helpen, volg deze instruc­ties:

• Stel een programma in zonder de

voorwasfase om wasgoed dat nor­maal vervuild is te wassen.

• Start een wasprogramma altijd met

de maximum hoeveelheid wasgoed.

• Gebruik indien nodig een vlekkenver-

wijderaar als u een programma met
een lage temperatuur instelt.

• Controleer de waterhardheid om de

juiste hoeveelheid wasmiddel te ge­bruiken.

Het symbool
de verpakking wijst erop dat dit
product niet als huishoudafval mag
worden behandeld, maar moet worden
afgegeven bij een verzamelpunt waar
elektrische en elektronische apparatuur
wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt
dat dit product op de juiste manier
wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijke
negatieve gevolgen voor mens en
milieu die zich zouden kunnen
voordoen in geval van verkeerde
afvalverwerking. Voor gedetailleerdere
informatie over het recyclen van dit
product, kunt u contact opnemen met
de gemeente, de gemeentereiniging of

• Als het programma is begonnen, wordt alleen het symbool van de

Het stoomsymbool gaat aan als u een Stoomprogramma
kiest.

De wasmiddeloverdosering gaat aan het einde van de cyclus

Grafische balkjes

Als u een verkeerde keuze maakt, geeft het berichtErr aan dat de keuze
niet mogelijk is.

Het symbool startuitstel gaat aan als u de functie startuitstel
inschakelt.

• Programmatijd
Als het programma start, neemt de programmatijd in stap-

pen van 1 minuut af.

• Startuitstel
Als u op de toets startuitstel drukt, toont de display de uit-

gestelde starttijd.

•Alarmcodes
Als er een storing in het apparaat optreedt, worden er

alarmcodes op de display weergegeven. Raadpleeg 'Pro­bleemoplossing'.

• De display toont dit bericht enkele seconden wanneer:

– U een functie instelt die niet van toepassing is op het pro-

gramma.

– U het programma wijzigt als het in werking is.

• Als het programma is voltooid.

Het kinderslotsymbool gaat aan als het apparaat wordt inge­schakeld.

Het lege indicatiebalkje verschijnt alleen als de bijbehorende
functie beschikbaar is voor het ingestelde programma.

Het indicatiebalkje wordt gevuld in overeenstemming met
de ingestelde functies.

Het symbool tijdbesparing gaat aan als u een van de pro­grammaduren instelt:

VLEKKEN PLUS

• Gebruik deze functie voor wasgoed
met vlekken die moeilijk te verwijde­ren zijn.

Als u deze functie instelt, doet u vlek­kenverwijderaar in het vakje
ze functie verlengt de duur van het
wasprogramma.

Deze functie is niet beschikbaar
bij een temperatuur lager dan
40°C.

VOORWAS

• Gebruik deze functie om een voor­wasfase toe te voegen voor de wasfa­se. We raden u aan om deze functie
te gebruiken als u wasgoed heeft dat
zeer vervuild is.

Stoom kan worden gebruikt voor droge, gewassen of eenmaal gedragen
wasgoed. Deze programma's kunnen kreukels en luchtjes verminderen en
het wasgoed zachter maken.
Stoomprogramma's hebben geen hygiënische cyclus.
Stoomprogramma's vormen geen hygiënische cyclus.

Stel het stoomprogramma niet in voor dit type kleding:

• kleding die niet in de droger mag

• alle kledingstukken met veel ingewerkte stukjes plastic, metaal, hout, e.d.

Als u een stoomprogramma instelt met gedroogde was, zal de was aan het eind van de
cyclus vochtig aanvoelen. Het is beter om de kleren aan de lucht te drogen gedurende 10
minuten om de vochtigheid te laten verdampen. Het wasgoed moet zo snel mogelijk uit de
trommel worden verwijderd. Na een stoomcyclus kunt u de kleding toch nog strijken, maar
dan uiteraard met veel minder moeite!

De wasmachine past de cy­clustijd automatisch aan op
het wasgoed dat u in de trom­mel hebt gedaan, voor perfec­te wasresultaten binnen een
minimaal benodigde tijd. Na
ongeveer 15 minuten vanaf de
start van het programma geeft
de display de nieuwe tijdwaar­de weer.

Het water wegpompen:

NUTTIGE AANWIJZINGEN EN TIPS

WASGOED SORTEREN

• Verdeel het wasgoed in: wit, bont,
synthetisch, fijne was en wol.

• Volg de wasinstructies die u op de
waslabels van het wasgoed vindt.

• Was witte en bonte artikelen niet sa­men.

• Sommige bonte weefsels kunnen uit­lopen als zij de eerste keer worden
gewassen. We raden daarom aan om
dit soort kleding de eerste keer dan
ook apart te wassen.

• Knoop kussenslopen dicht, sluit rit­sen, haakjes en drukknopen. Maak
riemen vast.

• Maak alle zakken leeg en vouw alle
artikelen open.

• Draai meerlagige stoffen, wollen en
kleding met geverfde opdrukken bin­nenstebuiten.

• Verwijder hardnekkige vlekken.

• Was delen met zware vervuiling met
een speciaal wasmiddel.

• Wees voorzichtig met de gordijnen.
Verwijder de haken of stop de gordij­nen in een zak of kussensloop.

• Niet in de machine wassen:
– Wasgoed zonder zomen of met

scheuren
– Beugelbeha's.
– Gebruik een waszakje om kleine

stuk wasgoed te wassen.

• Een zeer kleine lading kan proble­men veroorzaken bij de centrifugefa­se. Als dit gebeurt, kunt u de artike­len handmatig verdelen in de trom­mel en de centrifugefase opnieuw
starten.

HARDNEKKIGE VLEKKEN

Voor sommige vlekken is water en was­middel niet voldoende.
We raden u aan om deze vlekken te
verwijderen voordat u deze artikelen in
de machine stopt.
Er zijn speciale vlekverwijderaars ver­krijgbaar. Gebruik een speciale vlekver-

wijderaar die geschikt is voor het type
vlek en stof.

WASMIDDELEN EN
NABEHANDELINGSMIDDELEN

• Gebruik alleen wasmiddelen en na­behandelingsproducten die bedoeld
zijn voor gebruik in een wasauto­maat.

• Vermeng geen verschillende soorten
wasmiddel met elkaar.

• Gebruik niet meer dan de benodigde
hoeveelheid wasmiddel om het mili­eu te beschermen.

• Volg altijd de instructies die u vindt
op de verpakking van deze produc­ten.

• Gebruik de juiste producten voor het
type en de kleur stof, de programma­temperatuur en de mate van vervui­ling.

• Stel geen voorwasfase in als u vloei­bare wasmiddelen gebruikt.

• Als uw machine geen wasmiddellade
heeft met klepje, voeg dan het vloei­bare wasmiddel toe met een doseer­bal.

WATERHARDHEID

Als de waterhardheid in uw gebied
hoog of gemiddeld is, raden we u het
gebruik van waterverzachter voor was­automaten aan. In gebieden waar de
waterhardheid zacht is, is het gebruik
van een waterverzachter niet nodig.
Neem contact op met de plaatselijke
waterautoriteit voor de waterhardheid
in uw gebied.
Volg altijd de instructies die u vindt op
de verpakking van de producten.
Gelijkwaardige eenheden meten de
waterhardheid:

• Duitse graden (°dH).

• Franse graden (°TH)

• mmol/l (millimol per liter - een inter­nationale eenheid voor de hardheid
van water).

Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact
voordat u het apparaat reinigt.

ONTKALKEN

Het water dat wij gebruiken, bevat kalk.
Als het nodig is dient u waterverzachter
te gebruiken om deze kalk te verwijde­ren.
Gebruik een speciaal product voor was­automaten. Volg altijd de instructies die
u vindt op de verpakking van de produ­cent.
Doe dit apart van het wassen van was­goed.

BUITENKANT REINIGEN

Het apparaat alleen schoonmaken met
zeep en warm water. Maak alle opper­vlakken volledig droog.

DEURRUBBER

LET OP!

Gebruik geen brandspiritus, op­losmiddelen of chemische pro­ducten.

ONDERHOUDSWASBEURT

Bij programma's met lage temperatu­ren is het mogelijk dat er wat wasmid­del achterblijft in de trommel. Voer re­gelmatig een onderhoudswas uit. Om
dit te doen:

• Haal al het wasgoed uit de trommel.

• Stel het heetste wasprogramma in
voor katoen

• Gebruik de juiste hoeveelheid poe­derwasmiddel met biologische ei­genschappen.

Houd de deur enige tijd open na elke
wasbeurt, om schimmels te voorkomen
en onprettige geurtjes te verwijderen.

Controleer het deurrubber regelmatig
en verwijder voorwerpen uit de binnen­kant.

TROMMEL

Controleer de trommel regelmatig om
kalk en roestdeeltjes te voorkomen.
Gebruik alleen speciale producten om
roestdeeltjes uit de trommel te verwij­deren.
Ga als volgt te werk:

• Reinig de trommel met een speciaal
product voor roestvrij staal.

• Start een kort programma voor ka­toen op de maximale temperatuur
met een kleine hoeveelheid wasmid­del.

WASMIDDELDOSEERLADE

De wasmiddeldoseerlade reinigen:

Druk op de hendel.

2.

Trek de doseerlade naar buiten.

3.

Verwijder het bovenste gedeelte
van het vakje voor vloeibare nabe­handelingsmiddelen.

4.

Maak alle onderdelen schoon met
water.

5.

Maak de ruimte van de wasmiddel­doseerlade schoon met een bor­stel.

6.

Plaats de wasmiddeldoseerlade te­rug in de ruimte.

AFVOERPOMP

Controleer de afvoerpomp re­gelmatig en zorg dat deze
schoon is.

De pomp schoonmaken als:

• Het apparaat geen water wegpompt.

• De trommel niet kan draaien.

• Het apparaat een ongebruikelijk ge­luid maakt door een blokkade in de
afvoerpomp.

• De display een alarmcode weergeeft
door een probleem met de wateraf­voer.

WAARSCHUWING!

1.

Trek de stekker uit het stop­contact.

2.

Verwijder het filter niet als
het apparaat in gebruik is.
Reinig de afvoerpomp niet
als het water in de machine
heet is. Het water moet
koud zijn voordat u de af­voerpomp kunt reinigen.

De afvoerpomp reinigen:

Open het afvoerpompdeurtje.

2.

Trek de klep naar voren om hem te
verwijderen.

3.

Plaats een bak onder de uitsparing
van de afvoerpomp om het uitstro­mende water op te vangen.

4.

Druk de twee hendels in en trek
het afvoerkanaal naar voren om het
water eruit te laten stromen.

5.

Als de bak vol met water is, duwt u
het afvoerkanaal terug en leegt u
de bak. Herhaal stap 4 en 5 tot er
geen water meer uit de afvoer­pomp stroomt.

6.

Duw het afvoerkanaal terug en
draai het filter om het te verwijde­ren.

Verwijder stof en voorwerpen uit
de pomp.

Zorg dat het schoepenrad op de
juiste wijze kan draaien. Neem als
dit niet lukt, contact op met de
klantenservice.

harde borstel of een handdoek.

Installeer de watertoevoerslang op­nieuw. Zorg ervoor dat de koppe­lingen stevig vast zitten om lekka­ge te voorkomen.

7.

Draai de waterkraan open.

NOODAFVOER

Het apparaat kan geen water afvoeren
door een storing.

Als dit optreedt, voert u stap (1) tot en
met (6) van "De afvoerpomp reinigen"
uit.
Maak de pomp zo nodig schoon.
Plaats het afvoerkanaal terug en sluit de
afvoerpompklep.

Als u het water afvoert met de noodaf­voerprocedure, dient u het afvoersys­teem opnieuw te activeren:

1.

Giet 2 liter water in het vakje voor
het hoofdwasmiddel van de was­middeldoseerlade.

2.

Start het programma om water af
te voeren.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
BIJ VORST

Als het apparaat is geïnstalleerd in een
gebied waar de temperatuur lager is
dan 0 °C, dan dient u het resterende
water uit de afvoerslang en de afvoer­pomp te verwijderen.

1.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.

Draai de waterkraan dicht.

3.

Verwijder de watertoevoerslang.

4.

Plaats de twee uiteinden van de
toevoerslang in een bak en laat het
water uit de slang stromen.

5.

Leeg de afvoerpomp. Raadpleeg
de noodafvoerprocedure.

6.

Als de afvoerpomp leeg is, instal­leert u de toevoerslang opnieuw.

WAARSCHUWING!

Zorg ervoor dat de temperatuur
hoger is dan 0 °C voordat u het
apparaat opnieuw gebruikt.
De fabrikant is niet verantwoor­delijk voor schade die door lage
temperaturen is veroorzaakt.

Als dit gebeurt, draait u de kraan dicht
en neemt u contact op met de klanten­service om de slang te laten vervangen.

WATERAFVOER

Er zijn verschillende procedures om de
afvoerslang aan te sluiten:

in een afvoerpijp op een hoogte van
niet minder dan 60 cm en niet meer
dan 100 cm. Het einde van de af­voerslang moet altijd geventileerd
zijn, d.w.z. dat de binnendiameter
van de afvoerpijp groter moet zijn
dan de buitendiameter van de af­voerslang.

Raadpleeg de illustratie. Plaats de af-

voerslang in de gootsteenafvoer en
draai vast met een clip. Zorg dat de
afvoerslang een bocht maakt om te
voorkomen dat resterende deeltjes

CARE AND CLEANING

• Deactivate the appliance and discon­nect the mains plug from the mains

• Do not use the appliance without the
filters. Make sure that the installation
of the filters is correct. An incorrect
installation causes water leakages.

INSTALLATION

• The appliance is heavy, be careful
when you move it.

• Do not transport your appliance with­out the transit bolts, you can damage

internal components and cause leak­ages or malfunctions.

• Do not install and connect a dam­aged appliance.

• Make sure to remove all packaging
and transport bolts.

• Make sure that the mains plug is dis­connected from the mains socket
during installation.

• Only a qualified person must do the
electrical installation, the plumbing
and the installation of the appliance.

Water connection

• Do not connect the appliance with
old hoses already used. Only use new
hoses.

• Make sure not to cause damage to
the water hoses.

• Do not connect the appliance to new
pipes or pipes not used for a long
time. Let the water flow for some mi­nutes, then connect the inlet hose.

• The first time you use the appliance,
make sure that the water hoses and
the couplings do not have leakages.

THE LAUNDRY LOAD

• Divide the laundry in: white, col­oured, synthetics, delicates and wool.

• Obey the washing instructions that
are on the laundry care labels.

• Do not wash together white and col­oured items.

• Some coloured items can discolour
with the first wash. We recommend
that you wash them separately for the
first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers,
hooks and poppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the
items.

• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics,
wool and items with painted illustra­tions.

• Remove hard stains.

• Wash with a special detergent heavy
soil stains.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove
the hooks or put the curtains in a
washing bag or pillowcase.

• Do not wash in the appliance :
– Laundry without hems or with cuts
– Underwired bras.
– Use a washing bag to wash small

items.

• A very small load can cause balance
problems with the spin phase. If this
occurs, adjust manually the items in
the tub and start the spin phase
again.

STUBBORN STAINS

For some stains, water and detergent is
not sufficient.
We recommend that you remove these
stains before you put the items in the
appliance.
Special stain removers are available.
Use the special stain remover that is ap­plicable to the type of stain and fabric.

DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES

• Only use detergents and additives
specially made for washing machines.

• Do not mix different types of deter­gents.

• To help the environment, do not use
more than the correct quantity of de­tergent.

• Obey the instructions that you find
on the on packaging of these prod­ucts.

• Use the correct products for the type
and colour of the fabric, the pro­gramme temperature and the level of
soil.

• If you use liquid detergents, do not
set the prewash phase.

• If your appliance has not the deter­gent dispenser with the flap device,
add the liquid detergents with a dos­ing ball.

WATER HARDNESS

If the water hardness in your area is
high or moderate, we recommend that
you use a water softener for washing
machines. In areas where the water
hardness is soft it is not necessary to
use a water softener.
To know the water hardness in your
area, contact your local water authority.
Obey the instructions that you find on
the packaging of the products.
Equivalent scales measure the water
hardness:

MAINTENANCE WASH

With the low temperature programmes
it is possible that some detergent stays
in the drum. Make regularly a mainte­nance wash. To do this:

• Empty the laundry from the drum.

• Set the hottest cotton wash pro­gramme

• Use a correct quantity of powder de­tergent with biological properties.

After each wash, keep the door open
for a while to prevent mould and to let
unpleasant smells go out.

Regularly examine the seal and remove
all objects from the inner part.

DRUM

Regularly examine the drum to prevent
limescale and rust particles.
Only use special products to remove
rust particles from the drum.
To do this:

• Clean the drum with special product
for stainless steel.

• Start a short programme for cotton at
