SAFETY INFORMATION

Read carefully & keep for future reference.

• The safety of Your appliance complies with the industry standards and with legal requirements on the safety of appliances. However, as manufacturers, we feel it is our duty to provide the following safety notes.

• It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the appliance for future reference. Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, always ensure that the book is supplied with the appliance in order that the new owner can get to know the functioning of the appliance and the relevant warnings.

• You MUST read them carefully before installing or using the appliance.

• Before first starting up, check the appliance for any damage incurred during transport. Never connect up a damaged appliance . If parts are damaged, contact your supplier.

• If the appliance is delivered in the winter months when there are minus temperatures. Store it at room temperature for 24 hours before using for the first time.

General safety

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way.

• During high temperature wash programmes the door glass may get hot. Do not touch it!

• Make sure that small pets and children do not climb into the drum. To avoid this, please check into the drum before using.

• Any objects such as coins, safety pins, nails, screws, stones or any other hard, sharp material can cause extensive damage and must not be placed into the machine.

• Only use the advised quantities of fabric softener and detergent. Damage to the fabric can ensue if you over-fill. Refer to the manufacturer’s recommendations of quantities.

• Wash small items such as socks, laces, washable belts etc in a washing bag or pillow case as it is possible for such items to slip down between the tub and the inner drum.

• Do not use your washing machine to wash articles with whalebones, material without hems or torn material.

• Always unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply after use, cleaning and maintenance.

• Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the machine yourself. Repairs carried out by inexperienced people may cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Contact your local Service Centre. Always insist on genuine spare parts.

Installation

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.

• When unpacking the appliance, check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use it and contact the Service Centre.

• All packing and transit bolts must be removed before use. Serious damage can occur to the product and to property if this is not adhered to. See relevant section in the user manual.

Safety information

• After having installed the appliance, check that it is not standing on the inlet and drain hose and the worktop is not pressing the electrical supply cable against the wall.

• If the machine is situated on a carpeted floor, please adjust the feet in order to allow air to circulate freely under the appliance.

• Always be sure, that there is no water leakage from hoses and their connections after the installation.

• If the appliance is installed in a location subject to frost, please read the “dangers of freezing” chapter.

• Any plumbing work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified plumber or competent person.

• Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

Use

• This appliance is designed for domestic use. It must not be used for purposes other than those for which it was designed.

• Only wash and dry fabrics which are designed to be machine washed or dried. Follow the instructions on each garment label

• Do not overload the appliance. See the Washing Programme Table.

• Before washing, ensure that all pockets are empty and buttons and zips are fastened. Avoid washing frayed or torn articles and treat stains such as paint, ink, rust, and grass before washing. Underwired bras must NOT be machine washed.

• Garments which have been in contact with volatile petroleum products should not be machine washed. If volatile cleaning fluids are used, care should be taken to ensure that the fluid is removed from the garment before placing in the machine.

• As some duvets and eiderdowns should be washed/dried in large commercial machines because of their bulk, please check with the manufacturer of the item before washing in a domestic machine.

• The users should always check that they have not left their gas lighters (disposable or otherwise) in their clothing.

• Never tumble dry items that have had contact with chemicals such as dry cleaning fluid. These are of a volatile nature and could cause an explosion. Only tumble dry items which have been washed in water or require airing.

• Plastic detergent dispensers should not remain in the drum during the drying cycle, as the plastic used is not designed to withstand the heat. If you wish to wash-through-todry you should use the conventional detergent dispenser drawer.

• Never pull the power supply cable to remove the plug from the socket; always take hold of the plug itself.

• Never use your new appliance if the power supply cable, the control panel, the working surface or the base are damaged so that the inside of the appliance is accessible.

Child Safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• The packaging components (e.g. plastic film, polystyrene) can be dangerous to children danger of suffocation! Keep them out of children's reach.

• Keep all detergents in a safe place out of children’s reach.

• Make sure that children or pets do not climb inside the drum. To prevent children or pets becoming trapped inside the drum the machine incorporates a special feature. To activate this device, rotate the button (without pressing it) inside the door clockwise until the groove is horizontal. If necessary use a coin. To disable this device and restore the possibility of closing the door, rotate the button anticlockwise until the groove is vertical.

mover. The prewash detergent is added at the beginning of the wash programme. The stain remover is added during the STAIN-Ac- tion phase in the main wash.

, EXTRA RINSE , DRYING , DRYING ANTI-CREASE phase - symbols, The programme progress display shows the washing or drying phases of the selected programme. During a cycle, a black line blinks under the phase symbol of the running programme. At the end of each phase, the line under the corresponding symbol becomes fixed.

If the OVERDOSAGE symbol lights up at the end of the programme, it indicates that too much detergent has been used.

• This symbol indicates if the door can be opened:

– the symbol is on: the door cannot be opened. The appliance is performing a washing

or drying programme.

– the symbol is off: the door can be opened. The washing programme or drying is finish-

9.7 - The display shows the following information:

• Duration of the selected programme

After selecting a programme, the duration is displayed in hours and minutes (for example

) . The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum recommended load for each type of fabric. After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute.

• Delay start

First use

The selected delay (20 hours max) set by pressing the relevant button appears on the display for a few seconds (for example ted programme is displayed.

The DELAY START symbol will appear on the display. The delay time value decreases by one unit every hour and then, when 1 hour remains, the time decreases every minute.

• Selected drying time After selecting a drying programme, the drying time is displayed in minutes and/or hours

(max 250 mins). After the programme has started , the time remaining id updated every minutes.

• Incorrect option selection If an option, which is not compatible with the set wash programme is selected, the mes-

sage Err is displayed for a few seconds and the yellow light of button 7 starts blinking.

• Alarm codes In the event of operating problems, some alarm codes can be displayed, for example

(see chapter «What to do if...»).

• End of the programme When the programme has finished a blinking zero

FIRST USE

• Ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installation instructions.

• Remove the polystyrene block and any material from the drum.

• Before the first wash, run a cotton cycle at the highest temperature without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment and start the machine.

PERSONALIZATION

Acoustic signals

The machine is provided with an acoustic device, which sounds in the following cases:

• at the end of the cycle

• in the event of operating problems.

By pressing the 3 and 4 buttons simultaneously for about 6 seconds, the acoustic signal is deactivated (except for the events of operating problems). By pressing these two buttons again, the acoustic signal is reactivated.

Child safety lock

This device permits you to leave the appliance unattended and not to worry that children might be injured by or cause damage to the appliance. This function remains able also when the washing machine is not working. There are two different ways to set this option:

• Before pressing button 7: it will be impossible to start the machine.

• after pressing button 7: it will be impossible to change any other programme or option.

To enable or disable this option press simultaneously for about 6 seconds buttons 4 and 5 until the symbol 9.6 appears or disappears on or from the display.

DAILY USE

Load the laundry

1. Open the door by carefully pulling the

door handle outwards. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible.

2. Close the door firmly. You must hear a

click during closing.

WARNING!

Do not embed the laundry between the door and the rubber joint.

You can choose the right programme for any type of laundry following the descriptions on the washing programme tables (see «Washing Programmes»). Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme. The programme selector determines the type of washing cycle (e.g. water level, drum movement, number of rinses) and the washing temperature according to the type of laundry. By selecting a programme, the programme progress indicator symbols and the symbol corresponding to the drying degree allowed by the set programme appear on the display. The pilot light of button 7 starts blinking and the display shows the duration of the selected programme. The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise.

Select the spin speed, NIGHT CYCLE or RINSE HOLD option (button 2)

When the required programme has been selected, your appliance automatically proposes the maximum spin speed provided for that programme.

Press this button repeatedly to change the spin speed, if you want your laundry to be spun at a speed different from the one proposed by the washer-dryer. RINSE HOLD: by selecting this option the water of the last rinse is not emptied out to prevent the fabrics from creasing. At the end of the programme, a blinking HOLD symbol appear on the display, the DOOR symbol (door locked) remains lit and the pilot light of button 7 goes off. The door is locked to indicate that the water must be emptied out.

NIGHT CYCLE: by selecting this option, the machine will not drain the water of the last rinse, so as not to wrinkle the laundry. As all spinning phases are suppressed, this washing cycle is very quiet and it can be selected at night or in times with a more economical power rate. In some programmes the rinses will be performed with more water. At the end of the programme, a blinking symbol remains lit and the pilot light of button 7 goes off. The door is locked to indicate that the water must be emptied out.

RINSE HOLD or NIGHT CYCLE option cannot be selected with a NON-STOP programme (see Drying section). To empty out the water, please read chapter «At the end of the programme».

Programme option buttons

Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined.

WARNING!

Not all the options are compatible among themselves. The symbols of the incompatible options disappear. Anyway, if an option, which is not compatible with the set washing programme or any other option, is selected, the Err message is displayed for few seconds and the yellow pilot of button 7 light starts blinking. You must select the options after you have selected the programme but before pressing the button 7. Press the button 5: all the option symbols appear on the display. To scroll all the available options, press the button 5. The corresponding symbol appears on the display and starts blinking. Press the button 6 to activate and confirm your choice. A black dash appears under the selected symbol to indicate that this option has been set. Press the same button to deactivate the option. After selecting the options, wait a few seconds until the display gets back to the default status. The selected options appear on the display.

For the compatibility among the options and the washing programmes see chapter «Washing Programmes».

PREWASH option

Select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed at 30°C before the main wash. The Prewash ends with a short spin in programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics, whereas in the programmes for delicate fabrics the water is only drained. The relevant symbol will appear on the display. This option is recommended for heavily soiled laundry.

STAIN option

Select this option to treat heavily soiled or stained laundry with stain remover (extended main wash with time optimized stain action phase). The relevant symbol will appear on the display. This option is not available with a temperature lower than 40°C.

If you wish to perform a programme with the stain option, pour stain remover into stain compartment

SENSITIVE option

By selecting this option the washing intensity will be reduced. The machine adds one rinse in the programmes for cottons and synthetics. The relevant symbol will appear on the display. This option cannot be selected together with Extra Rinse option. This option is recommended for non fast coloured items and for frequently washed items.

DAILY option

By selecting this option, you will be able to modify the washing duration to wash daily soiled laundry. The display will show the corresponding symbol and the reduced washing time. To be used for daily soiled laundry.

SUPER QUICK option

By selecting this option, it will be possible to reduce the washing duration to wash lightly soiled laundry. The display will show the corresponding symbol and the reduced washing time. To be used for very lightly soiled laundry only. We recommend that you reduce the laundry load.

EXTRA RINSE option (additional rinse)

This appliance is designed for saving water. However, for people with a very delicate skin (allergic to detergents) it may be necessary to rinse the laundry using an extra quantity of water (extra rinse). The relevant symbol will appear on the display and this option is active for selected washing programme. If you wish to activate this option permanently press simultaneously buttons 2 and 3 for a few seconds: the relevant symbol appears on the display. If you wish to cancel it press the same buttons until the symbol disappears.

Select the START/PAUSE (button 7)

To start the selected programme, press the button 7, the corresponding red pilot light stops blinking. The DOOR symbol appears on the display to indicate that the appliance has started operating and the door is locked. To interrupt a programme which is running, press the button 7: the corresponding red pilot light starts blinking. To restart the programme from the point at which it was interrupted, press the button 7 again. If you have chosen a delayed start the machine will begin the countdown. If an incorrect option is selected, the yellow pilot light of the button 7 blinks 3 times and the message Err is displayed for a few seconds.

Select the DELAY START (button 8)

The corresponding symbol will appear on the display. The wash programme can be delayed from 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 20 hours by means of this button.

Before you start the programme, if you wish to delay the start, press this button repeated-

ly, to select the desired delay. The delay time value will appear on the display for about 3 seconds, then the duration of the programme will appear again. The selected symbol appears on the display. You must select this option after you have set the programme and before you press the button 7. You can modify or cancel the delay time at any moment, before you press the button 7. The door will be locked throughout the delay time. If you wish to add laundry in the machine during the delay time, press the button 7 to set the machine to pause. When the Door symbol disappears, the door can be opened. Add the laundry, close the door and press the button 7 again. Selecting the delayed start.

• Select the programme and the required options.

• Select the delay start.

• Press button 7: the appliance starts its hourly countdown. The programme will start after the selected delay has expired.

Cancelling the delayed start

• Set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing the button 7;

• Press button 8until the symbol

• Press the button 7 again to start the programme.

The selected delay can be changed only after selecting the washing programme again.

Altering an option or a running programme

It is possible to change some options before the programme carries it out. Before you make any change, you must press the button 7 to pause the appliance. Changing a running programme is possible only by resetting it.

Interrupting a programme

Press the button 7 to interrupt a programme which is running, the corresponding light starts blinking. Press the button again to restart the programme.

Cancelling a programme

Opening the door after the programme has started

When the machine is working and through the delay time, the door is locked. If, for any reason, it is necessary to open it, set firstly the machine to pause by pressing the button 7.

• If the DOOR symbol disappears from the display, the door can be opened.

• If the DOOR symbol stays on, and the door remains locked, this means that the machine is already heating or that the water level is too high. In this case the door can not be opened.

If you cannot open the door but you need to open it you have to switch the machine off by turning the selector dial to to the water level and temperature !). After closing the door, it is necessary to select the programme and options again and to press button 7.

At the end of the programme

The machine stops automatically. The pilot light of button 7 goes off and a blinking ap- pears on the display. The acoustic signal sounds for a few minutes. If you have chosen a programme or an option that ends with water left in the tub. Before you empty out the water, the drum continues to run at regular intervals until the water draining.

Leave the door open to prevent the formation of mildew and unpleasant smells. Stand by : once the programme has finished after a few minutes the energy saving system will be enabled. The brightness of the display is reduced. By pressing any button the appliance will come out of the energy saving status.

Drying only

The recommended load size is 4 kg for cottons and linen, and 3 kg for synthetic items. By pressing Drying Time button it is also possible to dry up to 6 kg of cotton items (see the

«Drying Programme » table).

The water tap must be open and the drain hose must be positioned in the sink or connected to the drain pipe.

1. Load the laundry.

2. Select a spin cycle at the maximum spin speed allowed for the type of laundry in order

to obtain the best drying performances.

3. Select the drying programme for Cottons or Synthetic in the Drying sector of the pro-

gramme selector dial. The DRYING and the ANTI-CREASE symbols corresponding to the phases making up the programme appear on the display.

At the same time, the symbols corresponding to the level degrees allowed by the set programme/fabric and «AUTO» lights up.

4. – Set the automatic drying (button 3).

With this button you can select the degree of dryness by an electronic drying. The machine adapts automatically the duration of the drying cycle to the selected degree of dryness.

If you press this button, a black dash appears under the selected symbol to indicate the degree set. The message «AUTO» disappears. The display shows the duration of the drying cycle.

The pilot light of button 7 starts blinking. Press then button 7 to start the programme. A black dash flashes under the DRYING symbol.

– Set the timed drying (button 4)

Press this button, until the time you want appears on the display. Select the duration of the drying cycle from 10 to 250 minutes according to the type of fabric (cotton or synthetic). Every time you press this button the drying time increases by 5 minutes.

The DRYING TIME DURATION symbol appears for a few seconds on the display near the duration value. Press then button 7 to start the programme. A black dash flashes under the DRYING symbol.

Note!

The programme time will automatically increase by a few minutes.

Note!

If you set only 10 minutes of drying phase with the timed drying button, the appliance performs only a cooling phase.

5. Press button 7 to start the programme.

After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute.

6. At the end of the drying programme, the buzzer sounds. A blinking «0» appears on the

display. At this point, begins an anti-crease phase which lasts for about 10 minutes. During this time the ANTI-CREASE symbol appears on the display. The DOOR symbol remains lit. The door cannot be opened.

If you need to open the door before or during the anti-crease phase or to interrupt it, press any button or turn the programme selector dial to any programme position (except O. The door can be opened immediately or after a few minutes depending on the model. (In any case do not try to open the door if it is locked!) .

7. Turn the selector dial to the O position to switch the machine off.

8. Remove the laundry.

Note!

The different type of cottons (towelling, sheets, shirts, and so on) or any laundry items rolling up during the spinning phase may result in partial dryness.

Use - Washing and Drying

In the exceptional case that at the end of the cycle the laundry remains slightly wet, we suggest that you unfold the rolled up items, redistribute them evenly in the drum and select an additional drying cycle of 20-30 minutes.

USE - WASHING AND DRYING

NON-STOP programme: Washing and Automatic drying

The recommended load size is 4 kg for cotton and 3 kg for synthetic.

It is also possible to dry up to 6 kg of cotton items (see the «Drying Programme » table).

CAUTION!

Do not use a dosing device/ball when carrying out a washing and drying programme.

1. Load the laundry.

2. Add detergent and fabric softener.

3. Switch the machine: turn the selector dial to the washing programme/fabric required.

4. Press the relevant buttons to select the required options.

If possible, do not select a spin speed lower than that proposed by the appliance to avoid too long a drying time therefore saving energy.

In any case the lowest values you can select is 900 r.p.m. for cottons and synthetic. The reduction of the spin speed is only possible after selecting drying.

5. Press the button 3 to set the required dryness degree.

The display shows the entire duration of the washing and the selected drying cycle.

6. Press button 7 to start the programme. After the programme has started, the time re-

maining is updated every minute.

7. At the end of the programme, follow the indications given in the corresponding previ-

ous chapter. Then, turn the selector to the O position to switch the machine off.

8. Remove the laundry.

NON-STOP programme: Washing and Timed drying

The recommended load size is 4 kg for cotton and 3 kg for synthetic. With the Drying Time button it is also possible to dry up to 6 kg of cotton items (see the

«Drying Programme » table).

CAUTION!

Do not use a dosing device/ball when carrying out a washing and drying programme.

1. Load the laundry.

2. Add detergent and fabric softener.

3. Switch the machine on: turn the selector dial to the required washing programme/fab-

ric.

4. Press the relevant buttons to set the required options.

If possible, do not set a spin speed lower than that proposed by the appliance to avoid too long a drying time therefore saving energy.

In any case the lowest values you can select are 900 r.p.m. for cottons and synthetics and 700 r.p.m. for delicate fabrics. The reduction of the spin speed is only possible after selecting drying.

5. Press the button 4 to set the drying time. The display shows the entire duration of the

washing and the set drying cycle.

Note!

If you set a washing programme and only 10 minutes of drying cycle by pressing the button 4, the total duration displayed includes also the unrolling and the cooling phase.

6. Press the button 7 to start the programme. After the programme has started, the time

remaining is updated every minute.

7. At the end of the programme, follow the indications given in the previous chapter.

Then, turn the selector to the O position to switch the machine off.

8. Remove the laundry.

Fluff in the fabrics

During the WASHING AND/OR DRYING PHASE, certain types of fabric, such as sponge, wool, sweatshirt, could release fluff. The released fluff could stick to the fabrics during the next cycle. This drawback increases with technical fabrics. To prevent the fluff in your clothes, it is recommended:

• To do not wash dark fabrics after you washed and dried light colored fabrics (new sponge, wool, sweatshirt especially) and vice versa.

• To air-dry this type of fabrics when they are washed the first time.

• To clean the drain filter.

• After the drying phase, thoroughly clean the empty drum, the gasket and the door with a wet rag.

To remove the fluff inside the drum, run a special programme to clean it:

• Empty the drum and clean the drum, the gasket and the door with a wet rag.

• Turn the programme selector to the rinse programme.

• Activate the cleaning function by pressing at the same time button 5 and button 8 until the display shows CLE.

• Press button 7 to start the programme.

Sorting out the laundry

Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer’s washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens.

Helpful hints and tips 23

Before loading the laundry

Never wash whites and coloureds together. Whites may lose their «whiteness» in the wash. New coloured items may run in the first wash; they should therefore be washed separately the first time. Button up pillowcases, close zip fasteners, hooks and poppers. Tie any belts or long tapes. Remove persistent stains before washing. Rub particularly soiled areas with a special detergent or detergent paste. Treat curtains with special care. Remove hooks or tie them up in a bag or net.

Removing stains

Stubborn stains may not be removed by just water and detergent. It is therefore advisable to treat them prior to washing. Blood: treat fresh stains with cold water. For dried stains, soak overnight in water with a special detergent then rub in the soap and water. Oil based paint: moisten with benzine stain remover, lay the garment on a soft cloth and dab the stain; treat several times. Dried grease stains: moisten with turpentine, lay the garment on a soft surface and dab the stain with the fingertips and a cotton cloth. Rust: oxalic acid dissolved in hot water or a rust removing product used cold. Be careful with rust stains which are not recent since the cellulose structure will already have been damaged and the fabric tends to hole.

Mould stains: treat with bleach, rinse well (whites and fast coloureds only). Grass: soap lightly and treat with bleach (whites and fast coloureds only).

Ball point pen and glue: moisten with acetone

the stain. Lipstick: moisten with acetone as above, then treat stains with methylated spirits. Treat any residual marks with bleach. Red wine: soak in water and detergent, rinse and treat with acetic or citric acid, then rinse. Treat any residual marks with bleach.

Detergents and additives

Good washing results also depend on the choice of detergent and use of the correct quantities to avoid waste and protect the environment. Although biodegradable, detergents contain substances which, in large quantities, can upset the delicate balance of nature. The choice of detergent will depend on the type of fabric (delicates, woollens, cottons, etc.), the colour, washing temperature and degree of soiling. All commonly available washing machine detergents may be used in this appliance:

• powder detergents for all types of fabric

• powder detergents for delicate fabrics (60°C max) and woollens

• liquid detergents, preferably for low temperature wash programmes (60°C max) for all types of fabric, or special for woollens only.

24 Drying Hints

The detergent and any additives must be placed in the appropriate compartments of the dispenser drawer before starting the wash programme. If using liquid detergents, a programme without prewash must be selected. Your appliance incorporates a recirculation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated detergent. Follow the product manufacturer’s recommendations on quantities to use and do not ex-

ceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dispenser drawer.

Quantity of detergent to be used

The type and quantity of detergent will depend on the type of fabric, load size, degree of soiling and hardness of the water used. Follow the product manufacturers’ instructions on quantities to use. Use less detergent if:

• you are washing a small load

• the laundry is lightly soiled

• large amounts of foam form during washing.

Degrees of water hardness

Water hardness is classified in so-called “degrees” of hardness. Information on hardness of the water in your area can be obtained from the relevant water supply company, or from your local authority. If the water hardness degree is medium or high we suggest you to add a water softener following always the manufacturer’s instructions. When the degree of hardness is soft, readjust the quantity of the detergent.

DRYING HINTS

Preparing the drying cycle

As a dryer, the appliance works on the condensation principle.

Therefore, the water tap must be open and the drain hose must drain water into a sink or into the drain pipe, even during the drying cycle. Attention!

Before starting the drying programme, reduce the loads of washed laundry, in order to obtain good performances.

Laundry not suitable for drying

• Particularly delicate items such as synthetic curtains, woollen and silk, garments with metal inserts, nylon stockings, bulky garments such as anoraks, bed covers, quilts, sleeping bags and duvets must not be machine dried.

• Avoid drying dark clothes with light coloured fluffy items such as towels as these can attract the fluff.

• Remove the laundry when the appliance has finished drying.

• To avoid a static charge when drying is completed, use either a fabric softener when you are washing the laundry or a fabric conditioner specifically for tumble dryers.

• Garments padded with foam-rubber or materials similar to foam-rubber must not be machine dried; they represent a fire hazard.

Care and cleaning

• Also, fabrics containing residue of setting lotions or hair sprays, nail solvents or similar solutions must not be machine dried in order to avoid the formation of harmful vapours.

Drying cycle duration

The drying time may vary depending on:

• speed of the final spin

• dryness degree required (iron dry, store dry)

• type of laundry

• weight of the load size .

The average drying time for a timed drying are indicated in the «Drying programmes» chapter. The experience will help you to dry your laundry in a more suitable way, according to the different fabrics. Take note of the duration drying time of the already performed cycles.

Additional drying

If the laundry is still damp at the end of the drying programme, select a short drying cycle again.

WARNING!

Do not over dry the laundry in order to avoid creasing of fabrics or garment’s shrinking.

CARE AND CLEANING

You must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply, before you can carry out any cleaning or maintenance work.

Descaling

The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine. Do this separately from any laundry washing, and according to the softening powder manufacturer's instructions. This will help to prevent the formation of lime deposits.

After each wash

Leave the door open for a while. This helps to prevent mould and stagnant smells forming inside the appliance. Keeping the door open after a wash will also help to preserve the door seal.

Maintenance wash

With the use of low temperature washes it is possible to get a build up of residues inside the drum. We recommend that a maintenance wash be performed on a regular basis. To run a maintenance wash:

• The drum should be empty of laundry.

• Select the hottest cotton wash programme.

• Use a normal measure of detergent, must be a powder with biological properties.

External cleaning

Clean the exterior cabinet of the appliance with soap and water only, and then dry thoroughly.

Do not use methylated spirits, solvents or similar products to clean the cabinet.

Detergent dispenser drawer

The detergent dispenser drawer should be cleaned regularly.

1. Remove the detergent dispenser drawer by pulling it firmly.

2. Remove the conditioner insert from the

middle compartment.

3. Clean all parts with water.

4. Put the conditioner insert in as far as it

will go, so that it is firmly in place.

5. Clean all parts of the washing machine,

especially the nozzles in the top of the washing-in chamber, with a brush.

6. Insert the detergent dispenser drawer in

the guide rails and push it in.

Washing drum

Rust deposits in the drum may occur due to rusting foreign bodies in the washing or tap water containing iron.

Care and cleaning 27

Do not clean the drum with acidic descaling agents, scouring agents containing chlorine or iron or steel wool.

1. Remove any rust deposits on the drum with a cleaning agent for stainless steel.

2. Run a washing cycle without any washing to clean off any cleaning agent residues.

Programme: Short Cotton Programme at maximum temperature and add approx. 1/4 measuring cup of detergent.

Door seal

Check from time to time the door seal and objects that could be trapped in the fold.

Drain pump

The pump should be inspected regularly and particularly if:

• the appliance does not empty and/or spin;

• the appliance makes an unusual noise during draining due to objects such as safety pins, coins etc. blocking the pump;

• a problem with water draining is detected (see chapter “What to do if...” for more details).

WARNING!

Before opening the pump door, switch the appliance off remove the mains plug from the socket.

Proceed as follows:

1. Unplug the appliance.

2. If necessary wait until the water has cooled down.

3. Open the pump door.

4. Pull flap forward to remove.

5. Place a container close to the pump to

collect any spillage.

6. Pull out the emergency emptying hose,

place it in the container and remove its cap.

7. When no more water comes out, un-

screw the pump cover by turning it anti-clockwise and remove the filter. Use pliers, if necessary. Always keep a rag nearby to dry up any water spillages when removing the cover.

Clean the filter under a tap, to remove any traces of fluff.

8. Remove foreign bodies and fluff from

the filter seat and from the pump impeller.

9. Check carefully whether the pump im-

peller rotates (it rotates jerkily). If it doesn’t rotate, please contact your Service Centre.

10. Put the cap back on the emergency

emptying hose and place the latter back in its seat.

11. Replace the filter into the pump by in-

serting it correctly into the special guides. Screw the pump cover firmly by turning it clockwise.

12. Refit the flap and close the pump door.

WARNING!

Care and cleaning 29

When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme selected there can be hot water in the pump. Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty. When refitting the pump cover, ensure it is securely re-tightened so as to stop leaks and young children being able to remove it.

Cleaning the water inlet filters

If the appliance doesn't fill, it takes a long time to fill with water, the starting button blinks yellow or the display (if available) shows the relevant alarm (see chapter "What to do if..." for more details), check if the water inlet filters are blocked .

To clean the water inlet filters:

1. Turn off the water tap.

2. Unscrew the hose from the tap.

3. Clean the filter in the hose with a stiff

brush.

4. Screw the hose back onto the tap. Make

sure the connection is tight.

5. Unscrew the hose from the machine.

Keep a towel nearby because some water may flow.

6. Clean the filter in the valve with a stiff

brush or with the piece of cloth.

7. Screw the hose back to the machine and

make sure the connection is tight.

8. Turn on the water tap.

Frost precautions

If the machine is installed in a place where the temperature could drop below 0°C, proceed as follows:

1. close the water tap and unscrew the water inlet hose from the tap;

2. place the end of the emergency emptying hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl

placed on the floor and let water drain out;

3. screw the water inlet hose back on and reposition the emergency emptying hose after

having put the cap on again. By doing this, any water remaining in the machine is removed, avoiding ice forming and consequently damage to the appliance. When you use the machine again, make sure that the ambient temperature is above 0°C.

Emergency emptying out

If the water is not discharged, proceed as follows to empty out the machine:

1. pull out the plug from the power socket;

2. close the water tap;

3. if necessary, wait until the water has cooled down;

4. open the pump door;

5. place a bowl on the floor and place the end of the emergency emptying hose into the

bowl. Remove its cap. The water should drain by gravity into the bowl. When the bowl

is full, put the cap back on the hose. Empty the bowl. Repeat the procedure until water

stops flowing out;

6. clean the pump if necessary as previously described;

7. replace the emergency emptying hose in its seat after having plugged it;

8. screw the pump again and close the door.

What to do if… 31

WHAT TO DO IF…

Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer. Before contacting your local Service Centre, please carry out the checks listed below. During machine operation it is possible that the yellow pilot light of button 7 blinks, one of the following alarm codes appears on the display and at the same time some acoustic signals sound every 20 seconds to indicate that the machine is not working:

• Once the problem has been eliminated, press the button 7 to restart the programme. If after all checks, the problem persists, contact your local Service Centre.

INSTALLATION

Unpacking

All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all transit devices so that they can be refitted if the machine ever has to be transported again.

1. After removing all the packaging, care-

fully lay machine on it’s back to remove the polystyrene base from the bottom.

2. Remove the power supply cable and the

draining hose from the hose holders on the rear of the appliance.

3. Unscrew the three bolts using the key

supplied with the machine.

4. Slide out the relevant plastic spacers.

5. Open the porthole, take out the inlet

hose from the drum and remove the polystyrene block fitted on the door seal.

6. Fill the smaller upper hole and the two

large ones with the corresponding plastic plug caps supplied in the bag containing the instruction booklet.

38 Installation

Positioning and levelling

Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Before placing it on small tiles, apply a rubber coating. Never try to correct any unevenness in the floor by putting pieces of wood, cardboard or similar materials under the machine. If it is impossible to avoid positioning the machine next to a gas cooker or coalburning stove, an insulating panel covered with aluminium foil on the side facing the cooker or stove, must be inserted between the two appliances. The machine must not be installed in rooms where the temperature can drop below 0°C. The water inlet hose and the drain hose must not be kinked. Please ensure that when the appliance is installed, it is easily accessible for the engineer in the event of a breakdown. Carefully level by screwing the adjustable feet in or out. Never place cardboard, wood or similar materials under the machine to compensate for any unevenness in the floor.

Rubber feet kit (4055126249)

Available from your authorized dealer. The rubber feet are particularly recommended on floating, slippery and wooden floors. Mount the rubber feet to prevent vibration, noises and displacement of the appliance during operation. Read carefully the instructions supplied with the kit.

Water inlet

An inlet hose is supplied and can be found inside the machine drum.

This appliance must be connected to a cold water supply. Do not use the hose from your previous machine to connect to the water supply.

1. Open the porthole and extract the inlet

hose.

2. Connect the hose with the angled con-

nection to the machine.

Do not place the inlet hose downwards. Angle the hose to the left or right depending on the position of your water tap.

3. Set the hose correctly by loosening the

ring nut. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks.

4. Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4”

thread. Always use the hose supplied

with the appliance. The inlet hose must not be lengthened. If it is too short and you do not wish to move the tap, you will have to purchase a new, longer hose specially designed for this type of use. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations requirements. Check the minimum water pressure required for safe operation of the appliance in the chapter "Technical Data".

Water-stop device

The inlet hose is provided with a water stop device, which protects against damage caused by water leaks in the hose which could develop due to natural ageing of the hose. This fault is shown by a red sector in the window «A». Should this occur, turn the water tap off and refer to your Service Centre to replace the hose.

Water drainage

The end of the drain hose can be positioned in three ways:

1. Hooked over the edge of a sink using the plastic hose guide supplied with the ma-

chine.

In this case, make sure the end cannot come unhooked when the machine is emptying.

This could be done by tying it to the tap

with a piece of string or attaching it to

the wall.

2. In a sink drain pipe branch. This branch

must be above the trap so that the bend

is at least 60 cm above the ground.

3. Directly into a drain pipe at a height

of not less than 60 cm and not more

than 90 cm. The end of the drain hose must always be ventilated, i.e. the inside diameter of the drain pipe must be larger than the outside diameter of the drain hose. The drain hose must not be kinked.

The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4 metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece is available from your local Service Centre.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Information on the electrical connection is given on the rating plate on the inner edge of the appliance door. Check that your domestic electrical installation can take the maximum load required, also taking into account any other appliances in use.

INFORMACIÓN SOBRE SEGURIDAD

Lea las instrucciones atentamente y téngalas a mano para consultarlas en caso necesario.

• La seguridad de su aparato cumple las normas industriales y los requisitos legales sobre

seguridad de los electrodomésticos. No obstante, como fabricantes, nos sentimos en la obligación de facilitar las siguientes advertencias de seguridad.

• Es muy importante que conserve este manual junto con la lavadora para consultas futu-

ras. Si vende o transfiere el electrodoméstico a otro propietario, o bien cambia de domicilio y deja la lavadora en su interior, asegúrese siempre de que el nuevo propietario recibe el electrodoméstico junto con el manual de instrucciones para que pueda aprender cómo funciona y conozca las advertencias pertinentes.

• Es IMPRESCINDIBLE leerlas con atención antes de instalar o utilizar el electrodoméstico.

• Antes de poner en marcha el aparato por primera vez, compruebe que no presenta daños

ocasionados durante el transporte. No conecte nunca un aparato que presente daños. Contacte con su proveedor si éste tiene componentes dañados.

• Si el electrodoméstico se suministra en invierno, estación en la que se dan temperaturas

bajo cero. Almacénelo a temperatura ambiente durante 24 horas antes de utilizarlo por primera vez.

Seguridad general

• Resulta peligroso alterar las especificaciones o intentar modificar este producto de algu-

na manera.

• El cristal de la puerta se puede calentar durante el uso de programas de lavado a alta

temperatura. ¡No lo toque!

• Impida el acceso de los niños y animales domésticos al interior del tambor. Para evitarlo,

compruebe el interior del tambor antes de utilizar el aparato.

• Cualquier objeto como, por ejemplo, monedas, imperdibles, clavos, tornillos, piedras o

cualquier otro material duro y afilado puede provocar daños considerables y no se debe introducir en la máquina.

• Utilice sólo las cantidades de detergente y suavizante recomendadas. Los tejidos pueden

dañarse si se sobrecarga la lavadora. Siga las recomendaciones del fabricante acerca de las cantidades.

• Lave las prendas pequeñas, como calcetines, lazos, cinturones, etc., en una bolsa de lava-

do o en una funda de almohada para evitar que se introduzcan entre la cuba y el tambor interno.

• No utilice la lavadora para lavar prendas con aros, sin dobladillos o desgarradas.

• Desenchufe siempre el electrodoméstico y cierre el suministro de agua después del uso,

la limpieza o el mantenimiento del mismo.

• Bajo ninguna circunstancia debe intentar reparar la máquina por su cuenta. Si las repa-

raciones las llevan a cabo personas sin experiencia, esto puede causar lesiones o un fallo de funcionamiento grave. Póngase en contacto con su centro de servicio técnico local. Insista siempre en que los repuestos sean originales.

Información sobre seguridad

Instalación

• Este aparato es pesado. Por tanto, se debe tener cuidado al transportarlo.

• Al desembalar el aparato, compruebe que no esté dañado. Si tiene alguna duda, no lo

utilice y póngase en contacto con el centro de servicio técnico.

• Todos los pasadores del embalaje y transporte se deben retirar antes del uso. De lo con-

trario, se pueden producir daños graves en el producto y daños materiales. Véase el apartado correspondiente en el manual de usuario.

• Una vez instalada la lavadora, asegúrese de que ésta no descansa sobre la manguera de

entrada ni la de desagüe, así como de que la encimera no está presionando el cable de alimentación eléctrica contra la pared.

• Si la máquina está situada sobre un suelo enmoquetado, ajuste las patas para que pueda

circular libremente el aire por debajo del aparato.

• Una vez realizada la instalación, asegúrese de que no existen fugas de agua procedentes

de las mangueras y sus conexiones.

• Si el electrodoméstico se instala en un lugar sometido a heladas, consulte el capítulo

"Riesgos de helada".

• Los trabajos de fontanería necesarios para instalar el electrodoméstico deberán correr a

cargo de un fontanero o técnico especializado.

• Cualquier trabajo eléctrico que sea necesario para instalar este aparato lo debe llevar a

cabo un electricista cualificado o una persona competente.

Uso

• Este aparato es para uso doméstico. No lo utilice para otros fines.

• Lave y seque solamente las prendas que estén diseñadas para lavarse o secarse a máqui-

na. Consulte las instrucciones en la etiqueta de la prenda.

• No sobrecargue el aparato. Consulte la tabla Programas de lavado.

• Antes de lavar las prendas, cerciórese de vaciar todos los bolsillos, de cerrar las cremalle-

ras y de abotonar los botones. Evite lavar prendas desgastadas o rasgadas y quite las manchas de pintura, óxido y hierba antes de lavar las prendas. Los sujetadores con aros NO se deben lavar a máquina.

• Tampoco se deben lavar a máquina las prendas que hayan estado en contacto con pro-

ductos que contengan petróleo volátil. Cuando utilice líquidos limpiadores volátiles, no olvide eliminar el líquido de la prenda antes de introducirla en la máquina.

• Algunos edredones deben lavarse y secarse en máquinas de uso comercial debido a su

volumen. Consulte al fabricante del edredón antes de lavarlo en una máquina doméstica.

• Compruebe que no queda ningún encendedor de gas (desechable o recargable) en la ro-

pa.

• No seque prendas que hayan estado en contacto con productos químicos, como produc-

tos para limpieza en seco. Estos productos son volátiles y pueden provocar una explosión. Seque solamente las prendas que haya lavado con agua o que tenga que ventilar.

• No deje los dosificadores de detergente de plástico en el tambor durante el ciclo de seca-

do, ya que el plástico con el que están fabricados no resiste el calor. Si desea lavar y secar las prendas a la vez, utilice el depósito dosificador de detergente.

• No tire del cable eléctrico para desenchufar el aparato. Sujete siempre el cable por la cla-

vija para sacarlo de la toma.

• No utilice el aparato nuevo si el cable de alimentación, el panel de mandos, la superficie

superior o la base presentan daños, de modo que pueda accederse al interior del aparato.

Seguridad de los niños

• Este electrodoméstico no está destinado a personas (incluidos niños) con funciones físi-

cas o sensoriales reducidas o con experiencia y conocimiento insuficientes, a menos que una persona responsable de su seguridad les supervise o les instruya en el uso del electrodoméstico.

• Se debe vigilar a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el aparato.

• Los componentes del embalaje (por ejemplo, la película de plástico o el poliestireno) pue-

den ser peligrosos para los niños - ¡peligro de asfixia! Manténgalos fuera del alcance de los niños.

• Guarde los detergentes en un lugar seguro al que no puedan acceder los niños.

• Impida el acceso de los niños y los animales

domésticos al interior del tambor. La máquina incorpora un dispositivo especial para evitar que los niños y los animales domésticos queden atrapados en el interior del tambor. Para activar este dispositivo, gire el botón (sin presionarlo) del interior de la puerta hacia la derecha hasta que la ranura esté en posición horizontal. Si es necesario, utilice una moneda. Para desactivar el dispositivo y permitir el cierre de la puerta, gire el botón hacia la izquierda hasta que la ranura se sitúe en posición vertical.

Tras seleccionar un programa, la duración del mismo se muestra en horas y minutos (por ejemplo

). La duración se calcula automáticamente sobre la base de una carga máxima recomendada para cada tipo de tejido Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

• Inicio diferido El intervalo de retraso seleccionado (20 horas máx.) pulsando el botón correspondiente

aparece en el indicador durante unos segundos (por ejemplo,

); a continuación se

muestra la duración del programa seleccionado previamente. El símbolo de INICIO DIFERIDO aparece en el indicador. El valor del inicio diferido se re-

duce una unidad cada hora y, a continuación, cuando sólo queda una hora, disminuye cada minuto.

• Tiempo de secado seleccionado Tras seleccionar un programa de secado, la duración del mismo se visualiza en minutos o

en horas (máximo de 250 minutos). Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

• Selección de opción incorrecta Cuando se elige una opción incompatible con el programa de lavado seleccionado, apa-

rece el mensaje Err durante unos segundos y el piloto amarillo del botón 7 comienza a parpadear.

• Códigos de alarma En caso de problemas de funcionamiento pueden mostrase algunos códigos de alarma,

• Compruebe que las conexiones eléctricas e hidráulicas cumplen las instrucciones de instalación.

• Retire el bloque de poliestireno y cualquier otro material del tambor.

• Antes del primer lavado, ponga en marcha un programa de algodón a temperatura máxima y sin ropa para eliminar cualquier residuo de fabricación que pueda haber en la cuba y en el tambor. Vierta la mitad de una dosis de detergente en el depósito dosificador y ponga en marcha la máquina.

PERSONALIZACIÓN

Señales acústicas

La máquina incorpora un dispositivo acústico que suena en los siguientes casos:

• al final del programa

• en caso de producirse problemas de funcionamiento

Al presionar los botones 3 y 4 simultáneamente durante unos 6 segundos se desactiva la señal acústica (excepto en caso de problemas de funcionamiento). Si vuelve a presionar esos 2 botones, se reactivará la señal acústica.

Bloqueo de seguridad para niños

La lavadora dispone de un bloqueo para niños que permite dejarla sin supervisión sin tener que preocuparse de si los niños se lesionarán con la lavadora o provocarán daños en ella. Esta función también permanece activada cuando la lavadora no está en funcionamiento. Esta opción se puede ajustar de dos maneras:

• Antes de pulsar la tecla 7: es imposible poner la máquina en marcha.

• después de pulsar el botón 7: será imposible cambiar cualquier otro programa u opción.

Para activar o desactivar esta opción, presione simultáneamente los botones 4 y 5 hasta que el símbolo 9.6 aparezca o desaparezca del indicador.

Cargar la colada

1. Abra la puerta tirando cuidadosamente

de la palanca de la puerta hacia fuera. Sacuda la ropa cuanto pueda e introdúzcala en el tambor prenda por prenda.

2. Cierre bien la puerta. Cuando la cierre

Seleccione el programa que desee con el selector de programas (1).

Utilice las tablas de lavado (consulte el apartado "Programas de lavado") para elegir el programa adecuado a cada tipo de tejido y colada. Gire el selector hasta el programa que desee. El selector de programas determina el tipo de ciclo (por ejemplo, nivel de agua, movimiento del tambor, número de aclarados) y la temperatura de lavado en función del tipo de colada. Al seleccionar un programa, en la pantalla aparecen los símbolos del indicador de progreso del programa y los símbolos correspondientes al grado de secado permitido por el programa establecido. El piloto de la tecla 7 comienza a parpadear y la pantalla muestra la duración del programa seleccionado. El selector de programas puede girarse hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda.

La intensidad del lavado se reduce cuando se selecciona esta opción. La máquina realiza un aclarado adicional en los programas para algodón y tejidos sintéticos. El símbolo correspondiente aparecerá en la pantalla. Esta opción no se puede seleccionar con la opción ACLARADO EXTRA. Esta opción se recomienda para colores no sólidos y prendas que se deben lavar con frecuencia.

Al seleccionar esta opción, puede modificar la duración del lavado para la ropa diaria poco sucia. La pantalla mostrará el símbolo correspondiente y el tiempo de lavado acortado. Es el programa apropiado para la ropa poco sucia.

Opción ACLARADO EXTRA (aclarado adicional)

Esta lavadora se ha diseñado para funcionar con poco consumo de energía. No obstante, para personas con piel muy delicada (alérgicas al detergente) puede resultar necesario aclarar las prendas con una cantidad adicional de agua (aclarado extra). Cuando el símbolo correspondiente aparece en el indicador, esta opción permanece activa durante el programa de lavado seleccionado. Si desea activar esta opción de forma permanente, presione simultáneamente los botones 2 y 3 durante unos segundos: el símbolo aparecerá en el indicador. Para cancelarla, presione los mismos botones hasta que el símbolo desaparezca.

Cuando se selecciona una opción incorrecta, el piloto amarillo del botón 7 parpadeará 3 veces y aparecerá el mensaje Err durante unos segundos.

El símbolo correspondiente aparecerá en la pantalla. Mediante este botón, el programa de lavado puede retrasarse desde 30 min, 60 min, 90 min y 2 horas y, luego, desde 1 hora hasta un máximo de 20 horas. Uso - Secado

Pulsando el botón Tiempo de secado es posible secar hasta 6 kg de prendas de algodón (consulte la tabla «Programas de secado»).

1. Cargue la ropa.

2. Para obtener los mejores resultados, seleccione un ciclo de centrifugado a la velocidad

3. Seleccione el programa de secado para Algodón o Sintéticos en el sector Secado del

selector de programas. Aparecen los símbolos de SECADO y ANTIARRUGAS correspondiente a la fase que forman el programa.

Si presiona este botón, aparece un guión negro debajo del símbolo seleccionado para indicar que esta opción se ha establecido. El mensaje «AUTO» desaparece. La pantalla muestra la duración del ciclo de secado.

Presione este botón hasta que aparezca el tiempo que desee en la pantalla. Seleccione la duración del ciclo de secado comprendida entre 10 y 250 minutos según el tipo de tejido (algodón o sintético). Cada pulsación del botón aumenta el tiempo de secado en 5 minutos.

El símbolo DURACIÓN DEL TIEMPO DE SECADO aparece durante unos segundos en la pantalla al lado del valor de la duración. Pulse el botón 7 para iniciar el programa. Un guión negro parpadea debajo del símbolo de SECADO.

El tiempo del programa se incrementará automáticamente en algunos minutos.

Nota:

Si ajusta sólo 10 minutos de fase de secado con la tecla de tiempo de secado, el aparato sólo ejecuta una fase de enfriamiento.

5. Pulse el botón 7 para iniciar el programa.

Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

6. Al final del programa de secado, el zumbador suena. En la pantalla parece un «0» inter-

mitente. En este momento comienza la fase antiarrugas, que dura unos 10 minutos. Durante este tiempo, el símbolo ANTIARRUGAS aparece en la pantalla. El indicador PUERTA permanece encendido. La puerta no se puede abrir.

58 Uso - Lavado y secado

Si necesita abrir la puerta antes de la fase antiarrugas o durante la misma, o si quiere interrumpirla, pulse cualquier botón o gire el selector de programas a cualquier posición (a excepción de O). La puerta puede abrirse inmediatamente o después de unos minutos, dependiendo del modelo. En cualquier caso, no fuerce nunca la puerta si está bloqueada. .

7. Gire el selector de programas hasta O para apagar la máquina.

8. Retire las prendas.

¡Nota!

El resultado depende de los distintos tipos de algodón (toallas, sábanas, camisas, etc.) o de la disposición de las prendas durante la fase de centrifugado. En el caso poco probable de que la ropa siga húmeda al final del ciclo de secado, sugerimos que despliegue las prendas enrolladas, las distribuya uniformemente en el tambor y seleccione después un ciclo de secado adicional de 20 a 30 minutos.

USO - LAVADO Y SECADO

Programa SIN PAUSAS: Lavado y secado automático

Siempre que sea posible, no seleccione una velocidad de centrifugado inferior a la propuesta por el electrodoméstico, pues así evitará que el tiempo de secado sea demasiado largo y ahorrará energía.

En cualquier caso, los valores más bajos que pueden seleccionarse son 900 rpm para prendas de algodón y sintéticos. La reducción de la velocidad de centrifugado sólo es posible después de seleccionar el secado.

5. Pulse el botón 3 para ajustar el grado de secado que desee.

6. Pulse el botón 7 para iniciar el programa. Una vez que se ha iniciado el programa, el

tiempo restante se actualiza cada minuto.

Pelusa en las prendas

Durante la FASE DE LAVADO Y/O SECADO, algunos tipos de tejidos, como esponja, lana o sudaderas, pueden soltar pelusa. La pelusa podría adherirse a los tejidos en el siguiente ciclo. Este inconveniente aumenta con los tejidos técnicos.

Para evitar pelusas en sus prendas, se recomienda lo siguiente:

• No lavar tejidos oscuros tras haber lavado y secado tejidos claros (sobre todo toallas, lana y sudaderas) y viceversa.

• Secar al aire este tipo de tejidos la primera vez que los lave.

• Para limpiar el filtro de desagüe.

• Después de la fase de secado, limpie a fondo el tambor vacío, la junta y la puerta con un paño húmedo.

Para eliminar las pelusas del interior del tambor, ejecute un programa especial de limpieza:

• Vacíe y limpie el tambor, la junta y la puerta con un paño húmedo.

• Gire el selector hasta el programa de aclarado.

• Active la función de limpieza pulsando las teclas 5 y 8 al mismo tiempo hasta que la pantalla muestre CLE.

• Pulse la tecla 7 para iniciar el programa.

Clasificación de la ropa sucia

Consulte los símbolos de lavado que aparecen en la etiqueta de la prenda y siga las instrucciones de lavado del fabricante. La ropa se debe clasificar de la siguiente manera: ropa blanca, ropa de color, ropa sintética, prendas delicadas y prendas de lana.

Antes de introducir la ropa sucia

Separe la ropa blanca de la ropa de color y lávela por separado. Las prendas blancas pueden perder su "blancura" al lavarlas. La ropa de color nueva puede desteñir durante el primer lavado; por lo tanto, es preciso lavarla aparte la primera vez. Abotone las fundas de almohada y cierre las cremalleras, ganchos, broches, etc. Ate las correas o cintas largas. Quite las manchas difíciles antes de lavar la ropa. Frote las zonas particularmente sucias con un detergente especial o en pasta.

Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Lávelas sin los ganchos o dentro de una bolsa o malla.

Eliminación de manchas

A veces no basta con agua y detergente para quitar las manchas difíciles. En esos casos es aconsejable aplicar un tratamiento antes de lavar las prendas. Sangre: aplique agua fría a las manchas de sangre fresca. Si la sangre está seca, debe dejar la prenda a remojo en agua con un detergente especial durante la noche y luego frotar con agua y jabón. Pintura al aceite: humedezca la mancha con un quitamanchas a base de disolvente, extienda la prenda sobre un paño suave y quite la mancha; repita el procedimiento varias veces. Grasa seca: humedezca la mancha con aguarrás, extienda la prenda sobre una superficie suave y quite la mancha con la yema de los dedos y un trapo de algodón. Óxido: utilice ácido oxálico disuelto en agua caliente o un quitamanchas para óxido en frío. Tenga cuidado con las manchas de óxido que no sean recientes, ya que la estructura de la celulosa se habrá dañado y el tejido tenderá a perforarse.

Moho: utilice lejía y aclare bien (prendas blancas y de colores sólidos solamente). Hierba: utilice un poco de jabón y aplique lejía (prendas blancas y de colores sólidos sola-

mente). Tinta y pegamento: humedezca con acetona

quite la mancha. Pintalabios: humedezca con acetona, como en el caso anterior, y luego quite la mancha con alcohol desnaturalizado. Utilice lejía para eliminar las marcas que puedan quedar. Vino tinto: ponga la prenda a remojo en agua y detergente, aclare, aplique ácido acético o cítrico y vuelva a aclarar. Utilice lejía para eliminar las marcas que puedan quedar.

Tinta: dependiendo del tipo de tinta, humedezca la prenda en acetona acético; utilice lejía en los tejidos de color blanco para eliminar cualquier resto que pueda quedar y aclare bien. Alquitrán: primero aplique un quitamanchas, alcohol desnaturalizado o disolvente y luego frote la mancha con un detergente en pasta.

Detergentes y aditivos

El resultado del lavado también depende de la elección del detergente y de las cantidades adecuadas, que permitan proteger el entorno y evitar vertidos. Aunque son biodegradables, los detergentes contienen sustancias que, en grandes cantidades, pueden alterar el delicado equilibrio de la naturaleza. La elección del detergente depende del tipo de tejido (delicado, lana, algodón, etc.), del color, de la temperatura de lavado y del grado de suciedad. En esta máquina pueden utilizarse todos los detergentes de lavadora de uso habitual:

• detergente en polvo para todo tipo de prendas

• detergente en polvo para prendas delicadas (60°C máx.) y lana

• detergente líquido para todo tipo de tejidos o especial para lana, preferiblemente para programas de lavado a baja temperatura (60°C máx.).

La lavadora incorpora un sistema de recirculación que garantiza un aprovechamiento óptimo del detergente concentrado. Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del producto en cuanto a cantidades y no permita que

el detergente supere la marca "MAX" que hay en el depósito dosificador.

Cantidad de detergente

El tipo y la cantidad de detergente dependen del tipo de tejido que se va a lavar, así como de la carga, del grado de suciedad y de la dureza del agua. Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del producto en lo referente a la cantidad de detergente que se debe utilizar. Use menos detergente en los casos siguientes:

• si la lavadora tiene poca carga

• si la ropa no está muy sucia

• si se forma mucha espuma durante el lavado.

Grados de dureza del agua

La dureza del agua se clasifica en "grados". Para obtener información sobre la dureza del agua local, puede consultar a la compañía encargada del suministro o a la administración local. Si el agua tiene un grado de dureza medio o alto, se recomienda añadir un descalcificante de agua de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante del mismo. Cuando el agua sea blanda, bastará con ajustar la dosis de detergente.

CONSEJOS DE SECADO

Preparación del ciclo de secado

Como secadora, la máquina funciona según el principio de condensación.

Por lo tanto, el grifo debe estar abierto y la manguera de desagüe debe colocarse en la pila o en la tubería de descarga, incluso durante el ciclo de secado. ¡Importante!

Para obtener un buen rendimiento de secado, reduzca la carga de las prendas lavadas.

Ropa no adecuada para el secado

• En especial las prendas especialmente delicadas, como cortinas sintéticas, lana, seda, telas con adornos metálicos, medias de nailon, prendas voluminosas (como anoraks, mantas, edredones, sacos de dormir, colchas de pluma) no deben secarse a máquina.

• No seque ropa oscura con prendas de color claro afelpadas, como toallas, ya que podría atraer la pelusa.

• Retire las prendas de la máquina una vez finalizado el secado.

• Para evitar la aparición de cargas estáticas una vez finalizado el secado, utilice un suavizante cuando lave la ropa o uno específico para secadoras.

• Los tejidos con rellenos de caucho poroso o materiales similares al caucho no pueden secarse a máquina, ya que pueden provocar un incendio.

• Tampoco deben secarse a máquina tejidos que contengan restos de lociones o lacas para el cabello, quitaesmaltes o soluciones similares, para evitar la formación de vapores nocivos.

Mantenimiento y limpieza

El detergente y los aditivos deben introducirse en los compartimentos correspondientes del depósito dosificador antes de poner en marcha el programa de lavado. Si se utiliza detergente líquido, debe seleccionar un programa sin prelavado. La lavadora incorpora un sistema de recirculación que garantiza un aprovechamiento óptimo del detergente concentrado. Siga las instrucciones del fabricante del producto en cuanto a cantidades y no permita que

el detergente supere la marca "MAX" del depósito dosificador.

Etiquetas de las prendas

Al realizar el secado, siga las indicaciones de la etiqueta del fabricante:

= admite secado en secadora

= admite secado a alta temperatura

•

= admite secado a temperatura reducida

•

= no admite secadora

•

Duración del ciclo de secado

El tiempo de secado puede variar dependiendo de:

• la velocidad del centrifugado final

• el grado de secado necesario (seco plancha, seco armario)

• el tipo de prenda

• el peso de las prendas cargadas en la máquina.

Para conocer el tiempo medio de secado para un secado temporizado, consulte el capítulo "Programas de secado". La experiencia le ayudará a secar sus prendas de un modo más adecuado al tipo de tejido de que se trate. Anote la duración de los ciclos de secado ya finalizados.

Secado adicional

Si las prendas siguen húmedas al final del programa, vuelva a seleccionar un ciclo de secado corto.

ADVERTENCIA

No seque en exceso las prendas y así evitará que éstas se arruguen o encojan.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

Es preciso DESCONECTAR el aparato de la red eléctrica antes de realizar cualquier tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento.

Desincrustación

El agua corriente que utilizamos suele contener cal. Se recomienda utilizar un producto en polvo ablandador del agua en la lavadora periódicamente. Realice esta tarea con independencia de cualquier ciclo de lavado y de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante del producto ablandador. Esto ayudará a prevenir la formación de depósitos de cal.

Después de cada lavado

Mantenga la puerta abierta durante un rato. Esto ayuda a prevenir la formación de moho y olor a humedad en el interior de la máquina. También permite conservar en buen estado la junta de estanqueidad de la puerta.

Lavado de mantenimiento

La sucesión de lavados a baja temperatura favorece la acumulación de residuos en el interior del tambor. Se recomienda realizar un lavado de mantenimiento con regularidad. Para poner en marcha un lavado de mantenimiento:

• El tambor no debe contener ropa.

• Seleccione el programa de lavado de algodón de mayor temperatura.

• Utilice una dosis normal de detergente: puede ser en polvo con propiedades biológicas.

Limpieza del exterior

Limpie la carcasa exterior del electrodoméstico con agua y jabón únicamente y, a continuación, séquelo completamente.

No utilice alcohol desnaturalizado, disolventes ni otros productos similares para limpiar la carcasa.

Depósito dosificador de detergente

El depósito dosificador de detergente debe limpiarse con regularidad.

1. Extraiga el depósito dosificador de detergente tirando de él con firmeza.

2. Extraiga el separador del suavizante del

compartimento central.

3. Limpie todos los componentes con agua.

4. Encaje el separador del suavizante hasta

el máximo posible de manera que quede colocado con firmeza.

5. Limpie con un cepillo todos los compo-

nentes de la lavadora, en especial las boquillas situadas en la parte superior de la cámara de lavado.

6. Inserte el depósito dosificador de deter-

gente en los carriles guía y empújelo hacia dentro.

Tambor de lavado

La presencia de cuerpos extraños oxidantes en el lavado y el agua corriente con contenido en hierro pueden dar lugar a la formación de depósitos de óxido en el tambor.

No limpie el tambor con desincrustantes ácidos, desengrasantes que contengan cloro, ni lana de hierro o de acero.

1. Retire los depósitos de óxido del tambor con un agente de limpieza para acero inoxida-

ble.

2. Ponga en marcha un ciclo de lavado sin introducir ropa para limpiar los residuos del

agente de limpieza. Programa: programa de algodón corto a temperatura máxima y añada aproximada-

mente un cuarto de un vaso de medida de detergente.

Junta de estanqueidad de la puerta

Compruebe la junta de vez en cuando y quite todo objeto que haya quedado atrapado en el pliegue.

Filtro

El filtro debe inspeccionarse con regularidad, especialmente en caso de que

• el aparato no desagüe o no centrifugue

• el aparato presente un ruido extraño durante la descarga porque haya objetos, como imperdibles, monedas, etc., que obstruyan el filtro

• se detecte un problema con el desagüe del agua (consulte el capítulo “Qué hacer si...” para obtener más información).

ADVERTENCIA

Antes de abrir la puerta del filtro, apague el aparato y desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente.

Proceda de la siguiente manera:

1. desconecte la clavija de la toma de corriente.

2. Si es necesario, espere hasta que el agua se enfríe.

3. Abra la puerta de acceso al filtro.

4. Empuje la compuerta para retirarla.

5. Coloque un recipiente cerca de la puerta

del filtro para recoger el líquido que pueda derramarse.

6. Extraiga la manguera de desagüe de

emergencia, colóquela en el contenedor y retire el tapón.

7. Cuando deje de salir agua, desenrosque

la tapa del filtro girándola hacia la izquierda y retire el filtro. Utilice alicates si fuera necesario. Tenga siempre a mano un trapo para secar el agua que se derrame al extraer la tapa.

Enjuáguelo bajo el grifo para eliminar los restos de detergente.

8. Retire los cuerpos extraños y limpie las

pelusas del filtro y del rotor.

9. Asegúrese de que el rotor del filtro gira

(gira con sacudidas). Si no es así, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico.

10. Tapone de nuevo la manguera de desa-

güe de emergencia y coloque la manguera en su lugar.

11. Vuelva a colocar el filtro en la bomba in-

sertándolo correctamente en las guías especiales. Apriete la tapa de la bomba firmemente girándola hacia la derecha.

12. Vuelva a colocar la compuerta y cierre la

puerta de la bomba.

Cuando la lavadora está en marcha, dependiendo del programa seleccionado, puede haber agua caliente en el filtro. Nunca extraiga la tapa del filtro durante un ciclo de lavado; espere siempre a que la lavadora haya terminado el ciclo y esté vacía. Al volver a colocar la tapa de la bomba, asegúrese de apretarla firmemente para impedir que se produzcan fugas y que los niños puedan sacarla.

Limpieza de los filtros de entrada de agua

Si el aparato no se llena de agua, tarda mucho en llenarse, la tecla de inicio parpadea en color amarillo o el indicador (si lo hay) muestra la alarma correspondiente (consulte el capítulo "Qué hacer si..." para obtener más información), compruebe si los filtros de entrada de agua están bloqueados.

Para limpiar los filtros de entrada de agua:

1. Cierre el grifo de entrada de agua.

2. Desenrosque la manguera del grifo.

3. Limpie el filtro de la manguera con un

cepillo rígido.

4. Vuelva a enroscar la manguera en el gri-

fo. Asegúrese de que la conexión está bien apretada.

5. Desenrosque la manguera de la máqui-

na. Procure tener un paño a mano porque puede salir algo de agua.

6. Limpie el filtro de la válvula con un ce-

pillo rígido o con un trozo de tela.

7. Vuelva a enroscar la manguera a la má-

quina y asegúrese de que la conexión queda bien apretada.

8. Abra el grifo.

Precauciones contra la congelación

Si la lavadora se instala en un lugar en el que la temperatura podría descender por debajo de 0°C, tome las siguientes precauciones:

1. Cierre la toma de agua y desenrosque la manguera de entrada de agua de la toma.

2. Coloque el extremo de la manguera de descarga de emergencia y el extremo de la

manguera de entrada de agua en un recipiente depositado en el suelo y deje que salga el agua.

3. Vuelva a acoplar la manguera de entrada de agua y coloque la manguera de descarga

de emergencia en su lugar después de taponarla. Si hace esto extraerá el agua que quede en la máquina y evitará que se forme hielo y el electrodoméstico sufra desperfectos. Cuando vuelva a utilizar la máquina, asegúrese de que la temperatura ambiente es superior a 0°C.

Descarga de emergencia

Si la lavadora no descarga, proceda de la siguiente manera para vaciarla:

1. desconecte la clavija de la toma de corriente;

2. cierre la toma de agua;

3. si es necesario, espere a que el agua se enfríe;

4. abra la puerta del filtro;

5. coloque un recipiente en el suelo e introduzca el extremo de la manguera de descarga

de emergencia en él. Quite el tapón de la manguera. El agua debería dirigirse al reci-

piente por acción de la gravedad. Cuando el recipiente se llene, vuelva a tapar la man-

guera. Vacíe el recipiente. Repita el procedimiento hasta que deje de salir agua;

6. si es necesario, limpie el filtro como se ha descrito anteriormente;

7. vuelva a colocar la manguera de descarga de emergencia en su lugar una vez que la

haya taponado;

8. vuelva a enroscar el filtro y cierre la puerta.

Qué hacer si… 73

QUÉ HACER SI…

Algunos problemas, que pueden deberse sencillamente a falta de mantenimiento o a descuidos, pueden resolverse sin necesidad de llamar al servicio técnico. Antes de ponerse en contacto con el Centro de servicio técnico local, realice las comprobaciones indicadas en la lista siguiente. Durante el funcionamiento de la lavadora, es posible que el piloto amarillo del botón 7 parpadee, que aparezca en el indicador uno de los códigos de error siguientes y que se emitan algunas señales acústicas cada 20 segundos para indicar que la máquina no está funcionando:

• Cuando se haya solucionado el problema, presione el botón 7 para reiniciar el programa. Si el problema se repite después de realizar todas las comprobaciones pertinentes, póngase en contacto con el Centro de servicio técnico.

Se ha utilizado demasiado detergente o un detergente inadecuado (que produce demasiada espuma).

• Reduzca la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

Compruebe si hay fugas en alguno de los racores de la manguera de entrada de agua. No siempre resulta fácil detectar las fugas, ya que el agua desciende por la manguera; compruebe que el racor no está mojado.

• Compruebe la conexión de la manguera de entrada de agua.

La manguera de desagüe o de entrada está dañada.

• Sustitúyala por una nueva.

No se ha vuelto a colocar el tapón de la manguera de desagüe de emergencia o no se enroscado el filtro adecuadamente después de la operación de limpieza.

• Vuelva a colocar el tapón en la manguera de desagüe de emergencia o enrosque el filtro hasta el tope.

Se ha utilizado poco detergente o un detergente inadecuado.

• Aumente la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro.

No se han tratado las manchas difíciles antes de lavar la ropa.

• Emplee productos comerciales para tratar las manchas difíciles.

No se ha seleccionado la temperatura adecuada.

El dispositivo que detecta desequilibrios en la carga ha interrumpido el proceso debido a que las prendas no están uniformemente distribuidas en el tambor. La ropa se redistribuye mediante la rotación inversa del tambor. Es posible que el tambor gire varias veces antes de que deje de detectarse el problema y se reanude el ciclo de centrifugado normal. Si la carga no se ha distribuido de manera uniforme transcurridos unos minutos, la máquina no centrifuga.

• Es posible que tenga poca carga. Añada más prendas, redistribuya la carga manualmente y, a continuación, seleccione el programa de centrifugado.

No se ha seleccionado el tiempo de secado.

• Seleccione el tiempo de secado.

La toma de agua está cerrada.

•Abra el grifo.

El filtro de descarga está obstruido.

• Limpie el filtro de descarga.

La máquina está sobrecargada.

INSTALACIÓN

Desembalaje

Es preciso retirar todo el material de embalaje y los pasadores antes de utilizar el aparato. Se aconseja guardar todo este material para usarlo de nuevo en caso de que sea necesario volver a transportarlo.

1. Después de retirar todo el material de

embalaje, recueste con cuidado la lavadora sobre su parte trasera y retire la base de poliestireno de la parte inferior.

2. Retire el cable de alimentación y la

manguera de desagüe de los soportes de manguera situados en la parte trasera del aparato.

3. Suelte los tres pernos con la llave sumi-

nistrada con la máquina

4. Deslice los separadores de plástico para

quitarlos.

5. Abra la puerta de la lavadora, retire la

manguera de entrada del tambor y extraiga el bloque de poliestireno fijado en la junta de estanqueidad de la puerta.

6. Cubra el orificio superior más pequeño y

los dos más grandes con los tapones de plástico correspondientes incluidos en la bolsa que contiene el manual de instrucciones.

7. Conecte la manguera de entrada de

agua como se describe en el apartado "Entrada de agua".

Situación y nivelado

Instale la máquina en el suelo sobre una superficie plana y rígida. Asegúrese de que el aire circula correctamente alrededor de la lavadora aunque haya moqueta, alfombras, etc. Si va a colocarla sobre losetas pequeñas, aplique primero un revestimiento de goma. No intente nunca corregir los desniveles del suelo colocando debajo de la máquina piezas de madera, cartón o materiales similares. Si no se puede evitar situar la máquina cerca de una cocina de gas u horno de carbón, debe insertarse entre los dos electrodomésticos un panel aislante cubierto con hoja de aluminio por la cara expuesta a la cocina u horno. La máquina no debe instalarse en estancias en las que la temperatura pueda descender por debajo de 0°C. La manguera de entrada de agua y la manguera de descarga no deben estar retorcidas. Cuando instale el electrodoméstico, asegúrese de que queda en lugar de fácil acceso para el técnico en caso de avería. Para nivelar la máquina, enrosque o desenrosque las patas ajustables. No coloque cartón, madera ni otros materiales similares bajo la máquina para compensar los desniveles del suelo.

Kit de patas de goma (4055126249)

Disponible en su distribuidor autorizado. Las patas de goma se recomiendan especialmente para suelos flotantes, deslizantes y de madera. Monte las patas de goma para evitar vibraciones, ruidos y desplazamientos del aparato durante el funcionamiento. Lea atentamente las instrucciones que se suministran con el kit.

Entrada de agua

Se suministra una manguera de entrada de agua que hallará en el interior del tambor de la máquina.

Este electrodoméstico debe conectarse a un suministro de agua fría. No utilice la manguera de su máquina anterior para conectar el suministro de agua.

1. Abra la puerta de la lavadora y extraiga

la manguera de entrada de agua.

2. Conecte la manguera a la lavadora me-

diante la conexión en ángulo.

No coloque la manguera de entrada hacia abajo. Sitúela a la izquierda o a la derecha en función de la posición de su toma de agua.

3. Afloje la tuerca anular para colocar la

manguera correctamente. Después de situar la manguera, vuelva a apretar la contratuerca para evitar fugas de agua.

4. Conecte la manguera a una toma de

agua mediante una rosca de 3/4. Debe utilizar siempre la manguera suministra-

da con la máquina. Con la manguera de entrada de agua no se pueden emplear prolongaciones. Si es demasiado corta y no desea mover la toma de agua, tendrá que adquirir una manguera más larga especialmente diseñada para estos casos. La instalación debe cumplir los requisitos de la administración local competente en materia de aguas y construcciones. Consulte cuál es la presión de agua necesaria para que el electrodoméstico funcione de forma segura en el capítulo "Datos técnicos".

Dispositivo antifuga

La manguera de entrada de agua se suministra con un dispositivo antifuga que protege contra el daño causado por las fugas de agua de la manguera que pueden producirse por el envejecimiento natural de esta última. Este fallo se indica mediante un sector rojo en la ventana "A". Si esto ocurre, cierre la toma de agua y solicite a su centro de servicio técnico local que sustituya la manguera.

Descarga del agua

El extremo de la manguera de desagüe se puede instalar de tres maneras distintas:

1. Sujeto por encima del borde de un fregadero mediante la guía de plástico suminis-

trada con la lavadora.

En este caso, debe asegurarse de que el extremo de la manguera no se desengancha

cuando la lavadora está desaguando.

Para evitar que ocurra, puede fijarlo a la

toma de agua con un trozo de cuerda o

sujetarlo a la pared.

2. En un empalme de derivación para

descarga en el fregadero. Este empal-

me debe estar encima de la toma para

que el codo quede al menos 60 cm sobre

el nivel del suelo.

3. Directamente en un tubo de descarga

a una altura mínima de 60 cm y máxi-

ma de 90 cm. El extremo de la manguera de descarga siempre debe estar ventilado; es decir, el diámetro interno del tubo de descarga debe ser mayor que el diámetro externo de la manguera. La manguera de desagüe no debe estar retorcida.

La manguera de descarga debe extenderse hasta un máximo de 4 metros. En el centro de servicio técnico local encontrará disponibles una manguera de descarga y una pieza de unión adicionales.

CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA

Los datos de la conexión eléctrica se indican en la placa de datos técnicos, situada en el borde interno de la puerta de la lavadora. Compruebe que la instalación eléctrica de su hogar está preparada para soportar la potencia máxima necesaria y tenga también en cuenta el resto de electrodomésticos.

Conecte la lavadora a una toma de corriente con puesta a tierra.

Consejos ecológicos

• La ropa que no esté demasiado sucia se puede lavar con un programa que no incluya

prelavado a fin de ahorrar detergente, agua y tiempo (y proteger el medio ambiente).
