Sicherheitshinweise

Bevor Sie Ihr neues Kältegerät in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie bitte diese Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam durch. Diese sind Sicherheitshinweise. Wir ersuchen Sie daher, die folgenden Punkte vor der Installation des Gerätes und seiner Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durchzulesen. Es wird empfohlen, diese

Gebrauchsanweisung gut aufzubewahren und bei einem eventuellen Verkauf des Gerätes dem neuen Besitzer auszuhändigen.

Benutzung im Haushalt

• Die K.hl- und/oder Gefrierschränke sind zur Einlagerung und/oder zum Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln bestimmt.

• Vor der Installation sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist. Mögliche Transportschäden sind dem Händler unverzüglich mitzuteilen.

• Das Gerät ist schwer. Scharfe Metallkanten am Gerät hinten und unten stellen ein Verletzungsrisiko dar. Beim Aufstellen oder Verschieben sind Schutzhandschuhe zu tragen.

• Sollte die Installation des Gerätes eine Änderung der elektrischen Hausinstallation verlangen, so darf diese nur von Elektro-Fachkräften durchgeführt werden.

• Bitte prüfen, dass das Netzkabel nicht von der Geräterückseite eingeklemmt und beschädigt wird. Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel kann überhitzen und einen Brand verursachen.

• Keine schweren Gegenst.nde bzw. das Gerät selbst auf das Netzkabel stellen. Kurzschluss- und Brandgefahr!

• Den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen, besonders wenn das Gerät aus der Nische gezogen wurde. Eine Beschädigung des Netzkabels kann Kurzschluss, Feuer und/oder Stromschlag verursachen.

• Keine Elektrogeräte (z.B. Eismaschinen) in das Gerät stellen.

• Es sollten keine kohlensäurehaltigen Getränke in das Gefrierbzw. Frosterfach eingestellt werden, sie könnten platzen.

• Speiseeis und Eiswürfel nicht unmittelbar aus dem Gefrierfach in den Mund nehmen. Sehr kaltes Eis

kann an Lippen oder Zunge festfrieren und Verletzungen ver ursachen.

• Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Die

Hände könnten daran festfrieren.

• Tritt eine Störung oder ein Defekt ein, versuchen

Sie nicht, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Elektrogeräte dürfen nur von Elektro-Fachkräften repa-riert werden, da durch unsachgemässe Reparaturen erhebliche Folgeschäden entstehen können. Sich an die nächstgelegene Kundendienststelle wenden und nur Original-Ersatzteile anfordern.

Sicherheit für Kinder

• Die Teile des Verpackungsmaterials (z.B.

Kunststoffhüllen, Polystyrol) können für Kinder gef ährlich werden. Erstickungsgefahr!

• Im Falle der Entsorgung des Gerätes ist das

Anschlusskabel durchzutrennen und der Türverschluss unbrauchbar zu machen, damit sich spielende Kinder nicht im Gerät einsch-ließen können.

Entsorgung von Altgeräten

Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht als normaler Haushaltsabfall zu behandeln ist, sondern an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden muss. Durch Ihren Beitrag zum korrekten Entsorgen dieses Produkts schützen Sie die Umwelt und die Gesundheit Ihrer Mitmenschen. Umwelt und Gesundheit werden durch falsches Entsorgen gefährdet. Sicherheitshinweise

• Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für Fehler,

die durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch des Produktes oder seiner Verwendung für andere als die in der Gebrauchsanleitung beschriebenen Zwecke verursacht wurden.

• Bei höher Reglerstellung können Minus- Temperaturen

auftreten! Achtung: Flaschen können platzen.

• Kunststoffteile können von aggressiven

Substanzen, wie z.B. den Säften von Zitrusfrüchten, essigsäurehaltigen Lebensmitteln und Fettsäuren,

sowie Speiseöl angegriffen wer-den.

In Deutschland können Sie die Verpackung an den Händler zurückgeben, bei dem Sie das Gerät gekauft haben.

Entsorgung von Altgeräten

Informationen bezüglich der Sammelstellen erhalten Sie bei Ihrer Gemeindeverwaltung.

• Brennbare Flüssigkeiten und Gase nicht im Gerät auf-

bewahren. Explosionsgefahr!

• Im Gefrierabteil dürfen außer hochprozentigen

Spirituosen keine Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere kohlensäurehaltige Getränke, in Flaschen einge- lagert werden.

• Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren,

(Handschuhe tragen)! Ebenso Eis am Stiel nicht sofort nach der Entnahme aus dem Gefrierabteil verzehren. Es besteht die Gefahr festzufrieren bzw. die Entstehung von Frostblasen.

ERSTE HILFE: Sofort unter fließendes, kaltes Wasser halten! Nicht wegreißen!

Bedienung

Energiespartipps:

• Die Umgebungstemperatur wirkt sich auf den

Stromverbrauch des Gerätes aus.

Standorte in der Nähe von Heizgeräten oder mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung unbedingt vermei- den. Nach Möglichkeit an einem Ort mit einer Umgebungstemperatur aufstellen, die im unteren Bereich der angegebenen Klimaklasse liegt.

• Auf gute Be- und Entlüftung des Gerätes achten. Be-

und Entlüftungsschlitze nicht verdecken.

• Unnötige tiefe Temperatureinstellungen sollten ver-

mieden werden.

Bedienungsblende

• Warme Speisen erst auf Raumtemperatur abkühlen lassen und dann einlagern.

• Flüssigkeiten nur in abgedeckten Behältern ein- stellen.

• Langes und unnötiges Öffnen des Gerätes ver- meiden.

• Verflüssiger regelmäßig reinigen (siehe Abtauen und Reinigung).

• Eine zu dicke Reifschicht am Verdampfer verur- sacht unnötigen Stromverbrauch. Leichte Reifansätze können von Zeit zu Zeit mit einem Kunststoffschaber entfernt werden.

Bedienung Kühlabteil

Inbetriebnahme

• Gerätestecker in die Steckdose stecken.

• Taste EIN/AUS (B) drücken. Die grüne

Netzkontrollanzeige (A) leuchtet.

• Auf eine der Tasten “+” (C) oder “-” (E) drücken. Die

Temperaturanzeige schaltet um und zeigt blinkend die

eingestellte SOLL-Temperatur an. Vor dem ersten Einlagern das Gerät ca. 4 Stunden bei hoher Reglerstufe vorkühlen.

+5°C ist die richtige Lagertemperatur für das Kühlgut.

F - SUPERFROST-Anzeige G - SUPERFROST-Taste H - SUPERCOOL-Anzeige I - SUPERCOOL-Taste

Temperaturregelung

• Durch Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten “+” (C) oder “” (E) wird die Temperaturanzeige von der ISTTemperatur (Temperaturanzeige leuchtet dau- ernd) auf die SOLL-Temperatur (Temperaturanzei- ge blinkt) umgeschaltet.

• Mit jedem weiteren Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten wird die SOLL-Temperatur um 1°C verän- dert.

• Wird keine Taste mehr betätigt, schaltet die Temperaturanzeige nach kurzer zeit (ca. 5 sec.) automatisch wieder auf die IST-Temperatur zurück.

Bedienung

Temperaturanzeige

Die Temperaturanzeige gibt mehrere Informationen.

• Bei normalem Betrieb wird die Temperatur ange- zeigt,

die momentan im Kühlabteil vorhanden ist (ISTTemperatur).

• Während der Temperatureinstellung wird blinkend die

im Moment eingestellte Kühlabteiltemperatur angezeigt (SOLL-Temperatur).

Achtung: Die Temperaturanzeige kann die tatsäch- liche Temperatur bis zu 24 Stunden verzögert anzeigen.

SUPERCOOL-Funktion

Die SUPERCOOL-Funktion beschleunigt das abkühlen frischer Lebensmittel und schützt gleichzei- tig die bereits eingelagerte Ware vor unerwünschter Erwärmung. Dabei wird automatisch eine SOLL- Temperatur von +2 °C vorgegeben.

• Durch Drücken der Taste SUPERCOOL (I) wird die

SUPERCOOL-Funktion eingeschaltet. Die gelbe Anzeige (H) leuchtet.

• Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste SUPERCOOL kann

die SUPERCOOL-Funktion jederzeit manuell beendet werden. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.

• Wird die SUPERCOOL-Funktion nicht manuell been-

det, schaltet die Elektronik des Gerätes die SUPERCOOL-Funktion nach ca. 6 Std. ab.

Bei Stromausfall wird die SUPERCOOL-Funktion ausgeschaltet!

Ausstattung Kühlabteil Innentürablagen

Zur Verstellung und Reinigung können die Innentürablagen aus der Halterung genommen wer- den.

Ablagen

Temperaturen

Im Kühlraum gibt es unterschiedliche Temperaturbereiche . Oben ist es am wärmsten , auf der Abdeckung über der Gemüseschale am kälte- sten. Die Innentemperaturen werden durch folgende Faktoren beeinflusst.

• Raumtemperatur

• Häufigkeit des Türöffnen

• Menge der eingelagerten Lebensmitteln

• Aufstellung des Gerätes

Gerät abschalten

Zum Abschalten die Taste EIN/AUS solange gedrückt halten, bis die Temperaturanzeige erlischt.

Die gewählte Temperatureinstellung wird auch bei einer Netzunterbrechung beibehalten.

Der Abstand zwischen den verschiedenen Ablagen kann je nach Wunsch geändert werden. Dazu die Ablage hinten anheben und soweit nach vorne zie- hen, bis sie sich nach oben oder unten abschwenken und herausnehmen lässt. Ablage in der gewünschten Position wieder einschieben.

Flaschenablage

Die an einer Ablage eingehängte Flaschenablage dient zum Einlegen von Flaschen und Dosen. Um die Ablage abzunehmen, die Glasablage hinten anheben und durch leichten Druck herausziehen. Die Flaschenablage abnehmen und die Glasablage wieder ein- setzen.

Bedienung

Einlagern von Lebensmitteln

Beim Einlagern ist zu beachten, dass die kalte Luft zirkulieren kann. Das Kühlgut sollte niemals direkten Kontakt mit der Rückwand im Innenraum des Kühlabteils haben. Es kann festfrieren, so dass beim Herausnehmen der Ware Reste an der Rückwand hängen bleiben, die den Tauwasserablauf verstopfen können. Lebensmittel wie Käse, Wurstwaren, Obst, Gemüse, gekochte Speisen, angemachte Salate usw. Verpackt bzw. abgedeckt aufbewahren. Auch die natürliche Frische und das Aroma bleiben dadurch erhalten. Die Lebensmittel sollten entsprechend den unter- schiedlichen Lager-Temperaturbereichen zugeordnet werden:

Butter, Käse

- in die Butterdose bzw. Käsefach in der Innentür

Eier

- in die Innentürablagen

Obst, Gemüse, Salate

- in die Gemüseschale

Wurst, Fleisch

- in den unteren Bereich (unterste Ablage bzw. Abdeckung über der Gemüseschale)

Molkereiprodukte, Konserven, Dosen

- in den oberen Bereich oder Innentür

Flaschen / Tuben

- in die Innentür

Bedienung Gefrierabteil

Wichtig!

Im Falle einer Stromunterbrechung soll das Gerät nicht geöffnet werden. Die Tiefkühlkost verdirbt nicht, wenn es sich um eine kurze Unterbrechung handelt (siehe Angabe “Lagerzeit bei Störung” im Katalog bzw. Werbemittel) und das Gerät voll ist. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, angetaute Lebensmittel innerhalb kurzer Zeit verbrauchen. Eine Temperaturerhöhung der Tiefkühlkost verkürzt die Lagerzeit.

Inbetriebnahme

Siehe Inbetriebnahme Kühlabteil.

Temperaturregelung

Die Temperatur wird mit der Tasten zur Temperatureinstellung gemeinsam für den Kühl- und Gefrierraum eingestellt. Siehe “Bedienung Kühlabteil”.

-18°C ist die richtige Lagertemperatur für das Gefriergut und Tiefkühlkost

SUPERFROST-Funktion

Die SUPERFROST-Funktion beschleunigt das Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel und schützt gleichzei- tig die bereits eingelagerte Ware vor unerwünschter Erwärmung.

- Durch Drücken der Taste SUPERFROST (G) wird die SUPERFROST-Funktion eingeschaltet. Die gelbe Anzeige (F) leuchtet.

- Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste SUPERFROST kann die SUPERFROST-Funktion jederzeit manuell beendet werden. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.

- Wird die SUPERFROST-Funktion nicht manuell beendet, schaltet die Elektronik des Gerätes die SUPERFROST-Funktion nach 24 Stunden ab. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.

Bei Stromausfall wird die SUPERFROST-Funktion ausgeschaltet!

Bedienung

Temperaturen in Gefrierabteil

Die Innentemperaturen werden durch folgende Faktoren beeinflusst:

- Raumtemperatur

- Häufigkeit des Türöffnen

- Menge der eingelagerten Lebensmitteln

- Aufstellung des Gerätes Achtung: Bei Erwärmung im Gefrierabteil muss der Zustand des Gefriergutes überprüft werden.

Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln

Zum Einfrieren die SUPERFROST-Funktion 24 Std. vor dem Einfrieren - bei kleinen Mengen genügen 4-6 Std.einschalten.

Ausstattung Gefrierabteil

Eiswürfelbereitung

Mit dem Gerät können auch Eiswürfel zubereitet wer- den. Eiswürfelschale zu 3/4 mit Wasser füllen und diese ins Gefrierfach stellen.

Die Eiswürfel lassen sich leichter aus der Schale lösen, wenn sie unter fließendes Wasser gehalten werden.

Wartung

Vor jeder Reinigungsarbeit immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

Dieses Gerät erhält im Kaltekreislauf

Kohlenwasserstoff. Aus diesem Grund darf die Wartung und das Nachfüllen ausschließlich von autorisierten Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.

Abtauen

Kühlraum

• An der R.ckwand des Gerätes bildet sich im Betrieb

eine Reifsicht, die in den Stillstandszeiten des Kompressors von selbst abtaut. Das Tauwasser läuft durch eine Rinne in eine Plastikschale auf der R.ckseite des Gerätes (über dem Kompressor) und verdunstet dort.

• Reinigen Sie regelmäßig das Ablaufloch des

Abtauwassers. Verwenden Sie hierzu den Reiniger, der sich schon im Ablaufloch befindet.

Gefrierraum

Reinigung

• Die Reifschicht mit dem Plastikschaber abkratzen.

• Wenn im Gefrierabteil die Eisschicht stärker als ca.

5 mm ist, tauen Sie Ihr Gerät ab. Um ein vollständi ges Abtauen durchzuführen, geht man wie folgt vor:

• Tiefk.hlgut herausnehmen, in mehrere Lagen

Zeitungspapier einpacken und abgedeckt an einem kühlen Ort lagern.

• Thermostatknopf auf «O» einstellen oder Stecker

aus der Steckdose herausziehen;

• Tür offen lassen. Ein Gefäß auf den ersten Rost

direkt unter das Ablaufloch stellen. Den Stöpsel wie in der Abbildung gezeigt entfernen.

Bitte keine Reinigungs- bzw. Scheuermittel verwenden, die das Gerät beschädigen könnten. Benutzen Sie nie Metallgegenstände um das Gerät zu reinigen, da es beschädigt werden könnte.

Den Innenraum mit lauwarmem Wasser und einem neutralen Reinigungsmittel reinigen. Gut nachwaschen und sorgfältig trocknen.

Stillstandszeiten

• Den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen. Alle

Lebensmittel herausnehmen und Ger.t reinigen.

• Die Tür offen lassen, um im Inneren eine gute

Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten und somit Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden.

Innenbeleuchtung

• Vor dem Lampenwechsel Ger.t abschalten und den

Netzstecker ziehen.

• Nach beendetem Abtauprozess das Gefrierteil gut

nach-trocknen und den Stöpsel wieder hineingeben.

• Nach dem Abtauen, Gerät einschließlich

Innenausstattung gr.ndlich reinigen.

• Lebensmittel einlagern und Gerät wieder in Betrieb

nehmen.

Benutzen Sie niemals Metallgegenstände, um die

Reifschicht abzukratzen, damit eine Beschädigung des Gerätes vermieden werden kann.

Benutzen Sie kein mechanisches oder anderes Mittel für einen schnelleren Abtauprozeß mit Ausnahme der vom Hersteller empfohlenen.

Um die Lampe su wechseln, dr.cken die hintere Kupplung und gleichzeitig nehmen die Abdeckung in der Pfeilrichtung heraus.

Ersetzen durch eine neue Birne gleicher Leistung (die maximale Leistung ist am

Leuchtkörper angegeben).

Wenn etwas nicht funktioniert

Falls das Gerät Störungen aufweisen sollte, bevor Sie den Kundendienst verständigen, überprüfen Sie zuerst folgendes:

Störung

Im Gerät wird es nicht kalt genug

Gerät kühlt zu stark.

Der Kompressor läuft ständig

Wasser im Kühlschrank.

Geräusche

Abhilfe

Der Drehknopf auf kältere Temperatur drehen. Die Lebensmittel müssen so eingelagert werden, dass die Kälte um sie frei zirkulieren kann. Tür richtig schließen. Die Umgebungstemperatur ist zu warm.

Der Drehknopf auf wärmere Temperatur drehen.

Der Drehknopf auf niedrigere Zahlen drehen. Die Umgebungstemperatur ist zu warm. Achten Sie darauf, daß diese Öffnungen nicht durch Sockelblenden oder Geschirr abgedeckt werden. Innerhalb der letzen 24 Std. wurden größere Mengen warmer Lebensmittel eingelagert. Tür nur so lange wie nötig geöffnet lassen.

Die Ablauföffnung an der Rückwand im Ger.teinnenraum ist Verstopft. Mit einem nicht scharfkantigen Gegenstand reinigen.

Manchmal sind sie charakterstisch für Kältegeräte. Wenn Kältemittel in dönne Rohre einströmt, können Sie ein blubberndes oder plätscherndes Geräusch hören. Immer wenn der Kompressor ein- oder ausschaltet, ist ein Klicken zu hören. Geräusche können durch das Instand setzen der Möbelstruktur entstehen.

Kundendienst und Ersatzteile

Sollten Sie nach o.e. Prüfungen zu keinem Resultat kommen, So wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren nächsten Kundendienst.

Um ein rasches Beheben des Schadens zu ermöglichen, ist es beim Anruf an den Kundendienst notwendig anzugeben:

• Modellbezeichnung

• Erzeugnis-Nummer (PNC)

• Fertigungs-Nummer (S-No.)

Diese Angaben finden Sie auf dem Typschild links an der Innenseite des Ger.tes. Damit Sie die Daten schnell bei der Hand haben, empfehlen wir, sie hier einzutragen.

Technische Angabe

Die technischen Angaben sind auf dem Typschild genannt, das auf der linken inneren Seite der Anlage liegt.

Im Falle einer Stromunterbrechung während der Lagerung von Tiefkühlkost bzw. von eingefrorenen

Lebensmitteln soll die Tür des Gefrierfaches nicht geöffnet werden. Die Tiefkühlkost verdirbt nicht, wenn es sich um eine kurze Unterbrechung handelt (12 Std.) und das Gerät voll ist. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, ist es nötig, die tiefgefrorenen Lebensmittel innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu verbrauchen (eine Temperaturerhöhung der Tiefkhlkost verkürzt die Aufbewahrungsdauer).

Installation

Vor der Installation sicherstellen, dass das Gerätnicht eschädigt ist. Mögliche Transportschäden sind dem Händler unverzüglich mitzuteilen.

• Während das Gerät in Betrieb ist, werden der Verflüssiger und der Kompressor, die sich auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befinden, heiß. Aus Gründen der Sicherheit muss eine Mindestbelüftung gesihert sein. Siehe Aufstellungsanweisungen.

• Wichtig : Beschädigte Versorgungskabel müssen durch ein Spezialkabel bzw. einen Spezialsatz ersetzt werden, die beim Hersteller oder dem Kundendienststellen erhältlich sind.

Aufstellung

• Das Gerät darf nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Heizkörpern oder sonstigen Wärmequelle aufgestellt werden.

• Ein Standort mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung sollte vermieden werden.

• Eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation an der Geräterückseite muß gewährleistet sein.

• Für eine optimale Belüftung des Gerätes müssen die minimalen Lüftungsquerschnitet (Abb.) eingehalten werden.

Die Klimaklasse finden Sie auf dem Typschild, das sich links im Innenraum des Ger.tes befindet. Nachstehende Tabelle zeigt, welche Umgebungstemperatur welcher Klimaklasse zugeordnet ist:

Prüfen Sie bitte nach dem Einbau des Geräts, insbesondere nach Türanschlagwechsel, ob die Türdichtung ringsum richtig abdichtet. Eine undichte Türdichtung kann zu verstärkter Reifbildung und dadurch zu höherem Energieverbrauch führen.

Achtung!

Bei einer niedrigen Raumtemperatur (z.B. im Winter) kann es vorkommen, dass die Dichtung nicht perfekt am Schrank haftet. Die Wiederherstellung der Dichtung erfolgt automatisch nach gewisser Zeit. Wollen Sie aber diesen Prozess beschleunigen, so genügt es die Dichtung mit einem Fön zu erwärmen.

Domestic Use

Safety information

compartment except for high-proof liquors. In particular, do not put carbonated beverages inside.

Use

Energy savings tips:

• The room temperature affects the appliance's consumption of electric current.

Therefore, avoid placing it near sources of heat or in direct rays of sunlight. If possible, choose a place that has a room temperature below the climate class indicated.

• Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.Do not cover the ventilation slits.

Control screen

• Let hot food products cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.

• Put liquids inside covered containers only.

• Avoid keeping the refrigerator open unless it is necessary.

• Too thick a layer of frost causes needless consumption of electric current. Small deposits of frost can be removed from time to time with a plastic scraper.

Using the refrigerator compartment

Starting the appliance

• Plug it into the socket.

• Press the EIN/AUS (B) (ON/OFF) button. The mains

operation indicator (A) lights up.

• Press one of the .+. (C) or .-. (E) buttons. The tempera-

ture indicator goes into operation and indicates the set

nominal temperature. If the regulator is set at a higher level, wait about 4 hours before loading the appliance.

The right temperature for loading food products to be cooled is +5°C.

Temperature adjustment

• By pressing one of the .+. (C) or .-. (E) buttons it is possible to switch from the actual temperature (the temperature indicator is lit and remains stationary) to the nominal temperature (the temperature indicator blinks).

• By continuing to press one of the buttons, the nominal temperature changes 1°C.

• If no button is pressed, the temperature indicator automatically returns to the actual temperature after about 5 seconds.

Use

Temperature indicator

The temperature indicator gives a variety of information.

• During normal operation, it shows the temperature insi-

de the refrigerator compartment. (actual temperature).

• When setting the temperature, the temperature set for

the refrigerator compartment (nominal temperature) at that moment blinks.

Caution: as many as 24 hours may be required before the temperature indicator shows the actual temperature.

SUPERCOOL function

The SUPERCOOL function speeds up the cooling of fresh food products while at the same time protecting those already stored from undesirable heating. A nominal temperature of +2°C is automatically pre-set.

• The function turns on by pressing the SUPERCOOL

button (I). The yellow indicator (H) lights up.

• It is possible to stop this function at any time by pres-

sing the SUPERCOOL button once again. The yellow indicator turns off.

• If the SUPERCOOL function does not stop manually, it

is automatically cut off electronically after about 6 hours.

The SUPERCOOL function is deactivated if the electric current is cut off!

The shelves of the inner door can be removed to be moved or cleaned.

Shelves

Temperature

There are different temperature zones in the refrigerator compartment. The warmest zone is at the top, and the coldest zone is above the cover of the vegetable bins. The internal temperature is influenced by the following factors:

• Room temperature

• How often the door is opened

• Amount of food products stored

• Appliance setting

Switching off the appliance

To switch off the appliance, keep the EIN/AUS (ON/OFF) button pressed until the temperature indicator turns off.

The selected temperature setting is stored, even if the electric current is cut off.

The distance between shelves can be altered as one likes. To remove the shelves, lift from the bottom and pull forward until they move upwards or downwards and can be pulled out. Put the shelves back in the desired position.

Bottle holder

The bottle holder clipped onto a shelf is used for storing bottles and cans. To remove the bottle holder, lift the glass shelf below and gently remove it. Then remove the bottle holder and put the glass shelf back in.

Use

Storing foods

Make sure that cold air can circulate when storing foods. The products to be cooled must never be direct contact with the rear wall inside the refrigerator compartment. They can freeze and partially remain stuck to the wall when removed, thus preventing the dew from flowing regularly. Place foods such as cheese, cold cuts, fruit, vegetables, previously cooked foods and prepared salads inside containers and cover them. In this way their natural freshness and aroma will be maintained. Foods must be stored according to the various temperature zones.

Using the freezer compartment

Important!

Do not open the refrigerator if the electric current is cut off! Foods do not spoil if the appliance is full and the cutoff lasts a short time (see further information under “Preservation time in case of failure” in the catalogue or advertising material). If the power cutoff continues, eat the thawed foods within a short time. Preservation time drops when the temperature of the frozen foods increases.

Temperature adjustment

To set the temperature, use the relevant buttons for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. See “Using the refrigerator compartment” The right temperature for frozen foods and those to be frozen is -18°C.

SUPERFROST function

The SUPERFROST function speeds up the freezing of fresh food products while at the same time protecting those already inside the compartment from undesirable heating.

- The function turns on by pressing the SUPERFROST button (G). The yellow indicator (F) lights up.

- It is possible to manually stop this function at any time by pressing the SUPERFROST button once again. The yellow indicator turns off.

- If the SUPERFROST function does not stop manually, it is automatically cut off electronically after about 24 hours. The yellow indicator turns off.

The SUPERFROST function is deactivated if the electric current is cut off!

Use

Temperature of the freezer compartment

The internal temperature is influenced by the following factors:

- Room temperature

- How often the door is opened

- Amount of food products stored

- Appliance setting Caution: Check the state of the frozen foods if the freezer compartment heats up.

Freezing foods

To freeze foods, turn on the SUPERFROST function 24 hours before freezing. Just 4-6 hours are needed for a lower quantity.

Freezer compartment equipment

Making ice cubes

The appliance lets you make ice cubes as well. Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 and place it in the freezer compartment.

Put the tray under running water in order to easily remove the ice cubes.

Maintenance

Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its

cooling unit maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorised technicians.

Defrosting

Refrigerator compartment

• Defrosting the refrigerator compartment is automatic.

The defrost water drains out through a trough into a container at the back of the appliance, above the motor compressor, where it evaporates.

• It is important to periodically clean the defrost water

drain hole.

Freezer compartment

Cleaning

• Remove the frost with a plastic scraper,

• Whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 5 mm

complete defrosting should be carried out.

Prooceed as follows:

• Remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers

of newspaper and put it in a cool place.

• Pull out the plug from the wall socket or turn the

ther-mostat knob to the «O» setting.

• Leave the door open, place a basin on the top shelf of

the refrigerator compartment, under the drain hole, remove the plug as shown in the figure.

Never use metal objects for cleaning your

appliance as it may get damaged. NEVER use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products or wax polishes to clean the interior as these will damage the surface and leave a strong odour.

Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly..

When the appliance is not in use

Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply. Empty all foods and clean the appliance, leaving the doors ajar to prevent unpleasant smells.

Changing the light bulb

• Should the interior light fail to work, first switch off

the appliance and disconnect from the electricity supply.

• When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thor-

oughly and refit the plug.

• Turn the thermostat knob back to the required set-

ting or replace the plug in the power socket.

• Reload the previously removed food into the com-

partment.

Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could damage it.

Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process

other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Press on the rear hook and at the same time slide the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Replace the lamp with one of the same power (the maximum power is shown on the light

diffuser).

Something not Working

Problems may be due to causes which can easily be solved before calling the Technical Service. Please follow these instructions:

Noises

Solution

Weight surpasses the storage limit of the door shelf so spread weight more evenly or take some products out.The appliance is not properly installed. Please look in the “Building-in” section.

Set a lower temperature. Distribute the food products to allow cold air to circulate around them. Make sure that the door is completely closed and that the insulating strip is complete and clean.The temperature where the cabinet is placed is above normal room temperature.

Set a warmer temperature.

Turn the thermostat knob to a lower number. The temperature where the cabinet is placed is above normal

room temperature. Check that the ventilation is sufficient and that the ventilation openings are unobstructed. The cause could be the introduction of large quantities of food and/or frequent opening/closing of the door.

Sometimes is normal. During automatic defrosting frost thaws on the cooling plate.

Place the drain hose at the back of the cabinet above the drain bowl.

Sometimes this is normal. Temperature control may cause clicking sounds when the system is connected or disconnected. The injected cooling gas may produce a gurgling sound while passing through the tubes. The motor may cause a humming noise and/or slight bumping. The insulation material used has a tendency to slighly increase noise levels, how ever it allows for much better insulation and a lower energy consumption.

If you cannot find the remedy for a malfunction in these operating instructions, please contact your dealer or our customer service department and consult the Guarantee card. Selective ordering of replacement parts can save unnecessary travel and costs. For this reason always provide the following appliance information:

This information can be found on the rating plate inside the cabenit on the left hand wall. W e recommend that you enter this information here, so that it is handy if needed.

Technical specifications

The technical data is indicated in the rating plate on the left side inside the appliance.

If there is a power failure when food is in the freezer, do not open the door of the freezer com-

partment. The frozen food will not be affected if the power cut is of short duration (up to 12 hours) and the freezer compartment is full, otherwise, it is recommended that the food should be used within a short time (a temperature increase of the frozen food shortens its safe storage period).

Installation

Take utmost care when handling your

appliance so as not to cause any damages to the cooling unit with consequent possible fluid leakages.

• During normal operation, the condenser and compressor at the back of the appliance heat up considerably. Always ensure that there is adequate ventilation as a failure to do this will result in component failure and possible food loss. See installation instructions.

• Important: if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manifacturer or its service agent.

Positioning

• Unpack the cabinet and check that it is in good condition and free of any transport damage.

• Place the refrigerator away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to direct sunlight.

• For safety reasons, minimum ventilation must be as shown in Fig.

The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each climate classification:

When the ambient temperature is not included within the range indicated for the class of this appliance, the storage temperature in the appliance cannot be guaranteed; therefore it is advisable to use the food stored as soon as possible.

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the serial number plate correspond to your domestic power supply.

Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.

It is necessary that the niche is provided with a conduct of ventilation having the following dimensions:

Depth 50 mm Width 540 mm

Voltage can vary by ±6% of the rated voltage.

For operation with different voltages, a suitably sized autotransformer must be used.

Important

The appliance must be earthed.

The power supply cable plug is provided with a contact for this purpose. If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed. connect the appliance to a separate earth in compliance with current regulations, consulting a specialist technician.

Please check whether, after installing your appliance and especially after rehingeing the door, the door seal seals right round. An untight door seal may lead to heavy frosting and thereby to a higher power consumption.

Warning!

If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket or accelerate this process by heating up the part involved with a normal hairdrier.

Instructions pour la sécurité

Les informations suivantes sont fournies pour votre sécurité. Il est conseillé de les lire avant d'installer ou d'utiliser l'appareil. Conserver ce Manuel d'instructions pour pouvoir le consulter à l'avenir. Si cet appareil devait changer de propriétaire, fournir le manuel au nouveau propriétaire.

Usage domestique

• Les frigidaires et les freezer domestiques ont été

conçus dans le but de conserver les aliments comestibles.

• Vérifier que l'appareil n'ait pas été endomagé pendant

le transport. Un appareil endomagé ne doit en aucun cas être installé. En cas de détérioration, on est prié de contacter son propre revendeur.

• Cet appareil est lourd. Les bords et les parties saillan-

tes du frigidaire peuvent être coupantes. Faire particulièrement attention au moment du déplacement du frigidaire et toujours utiliser des gants.

• Quelle que soit l'intervention électrique nécessaire

pour installer cet appareil, l'opération doit être effectuée par un électricien qualifié ou un individu compétent en la matière.

• S'assurer que la prise de courant n'est ni écrasée ni

endomagée à l'arrière de l'appareil. S'assurer que le cordon ne reste pas bloqué sous l'appareil ni ne touche le moteur

• Ne pas retirer le cordon d'alimentation en tirant dessus,

par ticulièrement si l'appareil est déplacé de la niche où il est encastré. Si la prise d'alimentation apparaît lâche, ne pas introduire la fiche. D'éventuelles détériorations sur le cordon pourraient provoquer un court-ciruit, un incendie et/ou des décharges électriques.

• Ne pas utiliser de dispositifs électriques à l'intérieur de

l'appareil.

• Ne pas conserver de boissons gazeuses ni de

bouteilles à l'intérieur du compartiment freezer. Les bouteilles contenant des boissons gazeuse pourraient se briser.

• Les glaçons peuvent provoquer des brûlures dûes à la

glace s'ils sont consommés immédiatement après avoir été retirés du freezer.

• Tenter d'altérer les caractéristiques du produit ou de le

modifier est dangereux.

• Il ne faut en aucun cas essayer de réparer l'appareil

tout seul. S'adresser à son propre service après-vente local et toujours réclamer des pièces de rechange originales.

Sécurité des enfants

• Cet appareil doit exclusivement être utilisé par des personnes adultes. Ne pas laisser les enfants commettre une mauvaise manipulation des contrôles ou jouer avec les produits. Risque d'étouffement ! Tenir les matériaux d'emballage loin de la portée des enfants

Protection de l'environnement

Cet appareil ne contient pas de gaz nuisibles à la couche d'ozone, aussi bien à l'intérieur du circuit de refroidissement que des isolants. L'appareil ne doit pas être mis en déchetterie avec les déchets urbains normaux. Eviter de détériorer l'unité de refroidissement. On peut obtenir des informations sur les déchetteries locales en se renseignant auprès des autorités municipales.Débrancher la prise et s'assurer d'avoir retirer tous les crochets et fermetures pour éviter que les enfants ne se retrouvent enfermés à l'intérieur.

Protection de l'environnement

Le symbole sur le produit ou son emballage indique que ce produit ne peut être traité comme déchet ménager. Il doit plutôt être remis au point de ramassage concerné, se chargeant du recyclage du matériel électrique et électronique. Utilisation

Informations pour la sécurité

• Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour les dom-

mages causés par une utilisation non adéquate du produit ou à des fins différentes de celles prévues par le mode d'emploi.

• Avec une configuration plus élevée du régulateur, les

tempèratures peuvent aller en dessous de zéro. Attention : les bouteilles peuvent exploser.

• Les parties en plastique peuvent étre attaquées par des

substances agressives, comme par exemple, le jus des agrumes, les aliments contenant du vinaigre et des

acides gras ou encore les huiles comestibles.

• Ne pas entreposer de liquides inflammables ou des gaz

dans l'appareil. Danger d'explosion !

• Ne pas entreposer de bouteilles contenant des liquides

dans le congélateur, sauf exception pour les alcools forts. Ne surtout pas introduire de boissons avec anhydride de carbone.

• Ne pas toucher les produits surgelés avec les mains

mouillées (porter des gants!). Ne pas consommer les crèmes glacées à peine sorties du congélateur. On risquerait de se geler et de se provoquer des cloques. PREMIER SECOURS : Mettre immédiatement sous l'eau froide du robinet. Ne pas essayer d'enlever la cloque !e !

Utilisation

Conseils pour une économie d'énergie

• La température ambiante influence la consommation d'énergie de l'appareil.

Eviter pour autant de la placer à proximité d'une source de chaleur ou des rayons directs du soleil. Choisir si possible un lieu avec une température ambiante en-dessous de la classe climatique indiquée.

• S'assurer que l'aération soit suffisante. Ne pas couvrir les fentes d'aération

• Ne pas régler sur une température plus basse que celle nécessaire.

• Laisser refroidir les aliments chauds à température ambiante avant de les déposer dans le frigo.

Schéma des commandes

• Introduire des liquides uniquement à l'intérieur de récipients couverts.

• Eviter de garder le frigo ouvert si ce n'est pas nécessaire.

• Nettoyer régulièrement la vapeur condensée (voir Dégivrage et Nettoyage).

• Un excès de givre provoque une consommation de courant inutile. Les légers dépôts de givre peuvent être enlevés de temps en temps avec une raclette en plastique.

Utilisation du compartiment frigidaire

Mise en marche

• Insérer la fiche dans la prise de courant .

• Appuyer sur la touche EIN/AUS (B) (allumé/éteint).

L'indicateur de fonctionnement du réseau (A) s'allume.

• Appuyer sur une des touches .+. (C) ou .-. (E).

L'indicateur de température se met en marche et indi-

que la température nominale configurée. En cas de configuration du régulateur sur un niveau plus haut, attendre environ 4 heures avant de remplir l'appareil.

La bonne température de refroidissement pour les aliments est +5°C.

Réglage de la température

• si on appuie sur la touche .+. (C) ou .-. (E) on peut passer à la température effective (l'indicateur de la température est allumé de façon fixe) à la température nominale (l'indicateur de température clitgnote).

• Si on continue à appuyer sur une des touches, la température nominale change de 1°C.

• Si on n'appuie plus sur aucune touche, l'indicateur de température revient automatiquement sur la température effective après environ 5 secondes.

Utilisation

Indicateur de température

L'indicateur de température donne différentes informa-

tions

• Durant le fonctionnement normal, il indique la tempéra-

ture présente dans le compartiment du frigidaire. (température effective).

• Durant la configuration de la température, la tempéra-

ture configurée au moment précis pour le frigidaire (température nominale) clignote.

Attention: 24 h peuvent être nécessaires avant que l'indicateur de température indique la température effective.

Fonction SUPERCOOL

La fonction SUPERCOOL accélère le refroidissement des aliments frais, et protège en même temps ceux déjà entreposés contre un réchauffement indésirable. Une température nominale est automatiquement préétablie à +2°C.

• si on appuie sur la touche SUPERCOOL (I) la fonction

en question se met en marche. L'indicateur jaune (H) s'allume.

• Si on réappuie sur la touche SUPERCOOL on peut

arrêter la fonction en question à n'importe quel moment. L'indicateur jaune s'éteint.

• Si la fonction SUPERCOOL n'est pas interrompue

manuellement , elle automatiquement déconnectée électroniquement après environ 6 heures.

En cas de coupure de courant, la fonction SUPERCOOL se déconnecte !

Equipement du compartiment frigidaire Porte interne

Les étagères de la porte interne peuvent être extraites pour un changement de position ou un nettoyage.

Rayons

Température

Dans le frigidaire, on a plusieurs zones de température. La partie la plus chaude se trouve en haut et la plus froide au-dessus du couvercle des bacs à légumes.

La température interne est influencée par les différents

facteurs.

• Température ambiante

• Fréquence d'ouverture de la porte

• Quantité d'aliments déposés.

• Configuration de l'appareil

Extinction de l'appareil

Pour éteindre l'appareil, il faut tenir la touche EIN/AUS (allumé/éteint) appuyée, jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur de température s'éteigne.

La configuration de la température sélectionnée est maintenue telle quelle, même en cas de coupure de courant.

La distance entre les rayons peut être modifiée comme on veut. Pour retirer les rayons, soulever par le bas et tirer en avant jusqu'à ce qu'ils bougent de haut en bas et puissent être enlevés. Réintroduire les rayons sur la position désirée.

Porte-bouteilles

Le porte-bouteilles accroché au rayon sert à entreposer les bouteilles et les canettes. Pour le retirer, soulever le rayon en verre en dessous, et l'enlever délicatement. Enfin, enlever le porte-bouteilles et remettre le rayon en verre.

Utilisation

Dépôt des aliments

Quand on entrepose les aliments, il faut s'assurer que l'air froid puisse circuler. Les produits à refroidir ne doivent jamais entrer en contact direct avec la paroi arrière à l'intérieur du frigidaire. Ils pourraient se congeler et rester en partie arttachés à la paroi au moment de les prendre, empêchant ainsi l'écoulement régulier de la rosée. Mettre dans un récipient et couvrir les aliments tels que le fromage, la charcuterie, les fruits, les légumes, les aliments déjà cuisinés et les salades préparées. De cette façon, la fraicheur et l'arôme seront maintenus. Les aliments doivent être placés selon les différentes zones de température.

Beurre, fromage

- dans la porte interne, à l'intérieur du beurrier et du portefromages.

Oeufs

- dans la porte interne

Fruits, légumes, salade

- dans les bacs à légumes

Charcuterie, viande

- en bas (premier rayon ou couvercle au-dessus du bac à légumes.

- en haut, dans la porte interne

Bouteilles, tubes

- dans la porte interne

Utilisation du congélateur

Important!

En cas de coupure de courant, ne pas ouvrir le frigo ! Les aliments pourraient s'abimer si l'appareil est rempli et la coupure de brève durée (voir les indications à "Temps de conservation en cas de panne" dans le catalogue ou la publicité). Si la coupure se prolonge, consommer les aliments décongelés assez vite. Avec l'augmentation de la température des aliments surgelés, leur temps de conservation se réduit.

Réglage de la température

Pour régler la température, utiliser les touches correspondantes, aussi bien pour le frigidaire que pour le congélateur. Voir „Utilisation du frigidaire” La bonne température pour surgeler les aliments et les conserver est -18°C

Fonction SUPERFROST

La fonction SUPERFROST accélère la congélation des aliments frais et et protège en même temps ceux déjà entreposés contre un réchauffement indésirable.

- Si on appuie sur la touche SUPERFROST (G) la fonction en question se met en marche. L'indicateur jaune (F) s'allume.

- Si on réappuie sur la touche SUPERFROST L on peut arrêter la fonction manuellement à n'importe quel moment. L'indicateur jaune s'éteint.

- Si la fonction SUPERFROST n'est pas interrompe manuellement , elle automatiquement déconnectée électroniquement après environ 24 heures. L'indicateur jaune s'éteint.

En cas de coupure de courant, la fonction SUPERFROST se déconnecte!

Utilisation

Température du congélateur

La température interne est influencée par les différents facteurs.

- Température ambiante

- Fréquence d'ouverture de la porte

- Quantité d'aliments déposés.

- Configuration de l'appareil Attention: En cas de réchauffement du congélateur, contrôler l'état des aliments surgelés.

Congélation des aliments

Pour congeler, mettre la fonction SUPERFROST en marche 24 heures avant la congélation. Pour des quantités réduites, 4-6 heures suffisent.

Equipement du compartiment congélateur

Préparation des cubes de glace

L'appareil permet également de préparer des cubes de glace. Remplir aux 3/4 le récipient à glace et le mettre au congélateur.

Pour extraire facilement les glaçons, mettre le récipient sous l'eau courante.

Entretien

Débrancher l'appareil avant de procéder aux opérations d'entretien.

Cet appareil contient des hydrocarbures à

l'intérieur de l'unité de refroidissement ; les opérations d'entretien et de recharge doivent donc exclusivement être effectuées par des techniciens qualifiés.

Dégivrage

Compartiment frigidaire

• Le dégivrage du compartiment frigidaire est automa-

tique. L'eau obtenue après le dégivrage est écoulée à travers une conduite et conservée dans un conteneur à l'arrière de l'appareil, au-dessus du compresseur à moteur, d'où elle s'évapore.

• Il est important de nettoyer le trou utilisé pour le draina-

ge de l'eau.

Compartiment freezer

Nettoyage

• Retirer la glace avec une raclette en plastique.

• Au cas où l'épaisseur de la glace dépasserait les 5 mm,

il faudrait effectuer un dégivrage complet.

Procéder de la manière suivante :

• Retirer tous les aliments contenus dans le frigidaire, les

enrouler dans plusieurs feuilles de papier journal et les mettre dans un lieu frais.

• Débrancher la prise murale et tourner le bouton du

thermostat sur "0".

• Laisser la porte ouverte, placer une cuvette sur l'é-

tagère supérieure du compartiment frigidaire, en dessous du trou de drainage et retirer la prise, comme montré sur la figure.

N'utiliser en aucun cas des objets métalliques

pour nettoyer l'appareil afin d'éviter de possibles détériorations. Ne JAMAIS utiliser de détergents, poudre abrasives, produits nettoyants très parfumés ou produits à faire briller à base de cire pour nettoyer l'intérieur, ceci afin d'éviter d'endommager la surface et laisser une forte odeur.

Nettoyer l'intérieur avec de l'eau chaude et du bicarbonate de soude.

Quand l'appareil n'est plus utilisé

Débrancher l'appareil du réseau électrique. Extraire tous les aliments et nettoyer l'appareil en laissant les portes à demi-ouvertes afin d'éviter la formation d'odeurs désagréables.

Remplacement de l'ampoule

• A la fin du dégivrage, sécher soigneusement l'intérieur

et remettre la prise.

• Remettre le bouton du thermostat sur la position

désirée et remettre la fiche dans la prise de courant.

• Réintroduire les aliments qu'on avait enlevés dans le

compartiment.

N'utiliser en aucun cas des objets métalliques coupants pour racler la glace de l'évaporateur

car on risquerait de l'endommager.

• En cas de panne d'éclairage, éteindre tout d'abord l'ap-

pareil et le débrancher du réseau électrique.

Appuyer sur le crochet arrière et dans le même

temps, faire glisser le cache dans la direction indiquée par la flèche.

Remplacer l'ampoule par une autre du même voltage (le voltage maximum est indiqué sur le diffuseur de la lumière).

Ne pas utiliser de dispositifs mécaniques ou des moyens artificiels pour accélérer le processus de décongélation en dehors de ceux conseillés par le producteur.

Quelque chose ne va pas

Certains problèmes peuvent être dûs à des causes pouvant être facilement résolues, sans qu'il y ait besoin de faire appel à un service technique. Prière de suivre les indications suivantes :

SYMPTOMES

La porte ne ferme pas

L'intérieur du frigidaire est trop chaud

L'intérieur du frigidaire est trop froid.

Le compresseur fonctionne de façon continue.

Présence d'eau à l'intérieur/extérieur du frigidaire.

SOLUTIONS

Le poids dépasse la limite pouvant être supportée par l'étagère de la porte, il faut donc distribuer le poids de façon plus uniforme ou enlever quelques produits. L'appareil n'est pas installé correctement. Prière de se reporter au chapitre “encastrement”.

Régler sur une température plus basse. Distribuer les aliments de façon à permettre à l'air froid de circuler à l'intérieur. S'assurer que la porte est complète ment fermée et que le joint isolant est propre et intact. La température de la pièce où est situé le frigidaire est supérieure à température ambiante.

Régler sur une température plus élevée. Tourner le bouton du thermost at sur une valeur plus basse. La température de la pièce où est situé le frigidaire est supérieure à la température ambiante.Vérifier que la ventilation est suffisante et que les trous de ventilation ne sont pas obstrués. La cause pourrait être qu'une trop grande quantité d'aliments a été introduite et/ou que la porte est trop fréquement ouverte/fermée.

Tourner le bouton du thermostat sur une valeur plus basse. La température de la pièce où est situé le frigidaire est supérieure à la température ambiante.Vérifier que la ventilation est suffisante et que les trous de ventilati on ne sont pas obstrués. La cause pourrait être qu'u-ne trop grande quantité d'aliments a été introduite et/ou que la porte est trop fréquement ouverte/fermée.

Ceci rentre dans la norme. Le contrôle de la température peut provoquer un bruit semblable à un tic-tac lorsque le système est branché et débranché.

Bruits.

Le gaz de refroidissement introduit peut produire un gargouillis durant son passage à l'intérieur des tuyaux. Le moteur peut produire un bourdonnement et/ou des bruits sourds. L'isolant utilisé a tendance à élever légèrement le niveau du bruit; celui-ci consent toutefois un meilleur isolement et une consommation énergétique plus basse.

Service clients et pièces de rechange

Si on ne trouve pas de solutions aux défauts de fonctionnement parmi les différentes instructions, contacter son revendeur ou notre service clients et consulter la fiche de garantie. Une commande sélective des pièces de rechange peut faire économiser des déplacements et des frais inutiles. C'est pour ce motif qu'il est nécessaire de toujours fournir les informations ci-dessous, se trouvant sur l'appareil :

• Nom du modèle

• Numéro du modèle (PNC)

• Numéro de série (S-No.)

Ces informations sont reportées sur la plaque d'informations située sur la paroi interne gauche du frigidaire. Nous conseillons d'insérer ici ces informations de façon à pouvoir les récupérer en cas de besoin.

Caractéristiques techniques

Les données techniques sont reportées sur la plaque d'informations située sur la paroi interne gauche de l'appareil.

En cas de coupure de courant, ne pas ouvrir la porte du compartiment freezer quand il y a des aliments à

l'intérieur. Les aliments congelés ne subiront aucune altération si la coupure dure moins de 12 heures et que le compartiment est plein. Dans le cas contraire, il est conseillé d'utiliser les aliments dans un bref laps de temps (une augmentation de la température des aliments congelés réduit leur temps de conservation).

Installation

Faire très attention à éviter de détériorer l'unité

de refroidissement lors de la manipulation de l'appareil car cela pourrait provoquer une perte possible du fluide.

• A utilisation normale, le condensateur et le compresseur, situés à l'arrière de l'appareil, se réchauffent de façon considérable. Toujours s'assurer qu'il y ait une ventilation adéquate car dans le cas contraire, les composants pourraient se détériorer et les aliments contenus dans le frigidaire devraient être mis à la poubelle. Se reporter aux instructions de l'installation.

• Important: si le cordon d'alimentation est abîmé, il faut le remplacer par un cordon ou un composant spécial qu'on peut trouver chez le fabriquant ou les agents du service après-vente.

Placement

• Extraire le frigidaire de son emballage et vérifier qu'il est en bon état et qu'il n'a pas subi de détériorations pendant le transport.

• Placer le frigidaire loin de la lumière directe du soleil et des sources de chaleur.

• Protéger l'appareil d'une exposition prolongée à la lumière directe du soleil.

• Pour des raisons de sécurité, la ventilation minimale requise doit correspondre à celle montrée sur la Fig.

Le tableau ci-dessous montre la température ambiante optimale pour chacun des classements climatiques.

Quand la température ambiante n'est pas comprise à l'intérieur des valeurs indiquées pour la classe de l'appareil, la température de conservation ne peut être garantie ; il alors conseillé de consommer les aliments conservés le plus vite possible.

Branchements électriques

Avant d'effectuer le branchement, s'assurer que le voltage et la fréquence reportés sur la plaque du numéro de série correspondent à ceux de l'alimentation domestique.

Le voltage peut varier de ± 6 points de pourcentage par rapport au voltage déclaré.

Pour une utilisation à un voltage différent, il est nécessaire d'utiliser un transformateur adéquat.

Attention : les trous de ventilation doivent être maintenus dégagés de toute obstruction.

La niche qui accueille le frigidaire doit nécessairement être équipée d'une conduite de ventilation possédant les dimensions suivantes :

Profondeur 50 mm Largeur 540 mm

Le classement climatique se trouve sur la plaque d'informations, située à l'intérieur du frigidaire, sur la paroi gauche.

Important

L'appareil doit être muni d'une mise à terre.

Après l'installation de l'appareil et particulièrement après avoir réinséré la porte dans les cardans, vérifier que le joint de la porte isole correctement tout le bord. Une porte non isolée correctement pourrait avoir pour conséquence une forte consommation d'énergie pour palier à l'augmentation de la température.

Attention !

Si la température ambiante est basse (comme en hiver), le joint pourrait ne pas s'adapter parfaitement au frigidaire. Dans ce cas, attendre que le joint s'adapte naturellement ou accélérer le processus en réchauffant la partie intêressée avec un sèche-cheveux.

Uso domestico

• I frigoriferi e i freezer domestici sono stati progettati per l'utilizzo a scopo di conservazione di generi alimentari commestibili.

• Controllare che l'apparecchio non sia stato danneggiato durante il trasporto. In nessun caso un apparecchio danneggiato deve essere installato. In caso di danneggiamento si prega di contattare il proprio rivenditore.

• Questo apparecchio è pesante. I bordi e le parti sporgenti del frigorifero possono essere taglienti. Prestare particolare attenzione in fase di movimentazione del frigorifero e utilizzare sempre dei guanti.

• Qualsiasi intervento sull'impianto elettrico necessario per installare questo apparecchio deve essere effettuato da un elettricista qualificato o da un individuo competente.

• Assicurarsi che la presa di corrente non sia stata schiacciata o danneggiata dalla parte posteriore dell'apparecchio. Assicurarsi che il cavo non resti bloccato sotto l'apparecchio o tocchi il motore.

• Non rimuovere il cavo di alimentazione tirandolo, in particolare quando l'apparecchio viene spostato dalla nicchia ove è incassato. Se la presa di alimentazione risulta allentata, non inserire la spina. Eventuali danni al cavo possono provocare un corto circuito, un incendio e/o scossa elettrica.

• Non utilizzare dispositivi elettrici all'interno dell'apparecchio.

• Non conservare bevande gassate o bottiglie nel compartimento freezer. Le bottiglie contenenti bevande gassate potrebbero rompersi.

Informazioni sulla sicurezza

• Il produttore declina qualsiasi responsabilità per danni

causati da un uso non idoneo del prodotto o da un uso per scopi diversi da quelli previsti dalle istruzioni per l’uso.

• Con un'impostazione più alta del regolatore le temperature possono andare sotto zero. Attenzione: le bottiglie possono esplodere.

• Le parti in plastica possono essere attaccate da sostanze aggressive, come ad esempio succo di agrumi, alimenti che contengono aceto e acidi grassi oppure oli

commestibili.

• Non depositare nell’apparecchio liquidi infiammabili o

gas. Pericolo di esplosione!

• Non depositare bottiglie contenenti liquidi nel vano con-

gelatore, ad eccezione di alcolici ad alta gradazione, in particolare non inserire bibite addizionate di anidride carbonica.

• Non toccare i prodotti surgelati con le mani bagnate (indossare i guanti)! Non consumare gelati da passeggio appena estratti dal vano del congelatore. Vi è il rischio di congelarsi e procurarsi delle vesciche per il freddo.

PRIMO SOCCORSO: Mettere immediatamente sotto acqua fredda corrente. Non cercare di rimuovere!

Uso

Consigli per il risparmio energetico

• La temperatura ambientale influisce sul consumo di corrente dell’apparecchio.

Evitare pertanto di collocarlo in prossimità di fonti di calore o sotto i raggi diretti del sole. Se possibile, scegliere un luogo con temperatura ambientale al di sotto della classe di clima indicata

• Assicurarsi che vi sia sufficiente aerazione. Non coprire le fessure di aerazione.

• Non impostare una temperatura più bassa di quella necessaria.

• Lasciar raffreddare gli alimenti caldi a temperatura ambiente prima di depositarli nel frigorifero.

Schermo di comando

• Inserire liquidi solo all’interno di contenitori coperti.

• Evitare di tenere il frigorifero aperto se non è necessario.

• Pulire regolarmente la condensa (vedere Sbrinamento e Pulizia).

• Un eccessivo strato di brina provoca un inutile consumo di corrente. I piccoli depositi di brina possono essere rimossi di tanto in tanto con un raschietto in plastica.

Utilizzo del vano frigorifero

Messa in funzione

• Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.

• Premere il tasto EIN/AUS (B) (acceso/spento).

L’indicatore di funzionamento della rete (A) si illumina.

• Premere uno dei tasti .+. (C) oppure .-. (E). L’indicatore

di temperatura si attiva ed indica la temperatura nomi-

nale impostata. In caso di impostazione del regolatore su un livello più alto, prima di caricare l’apparecchio attendere ca. 4 ore.

La giusta temperatura alla quale caricare gli alimenti da raffreddare è +5°C.

F - Indicatore SUPERFROST G - Tasto SUPERFROST H - Indicatore SUPERCOOL I - Tasto SUPERCOOL

Regolazione della temperatura

• Premendo il tasto .+. (C) oppure .-. (E) è possibile passare dalla temperatura effettiva (l'indicatore della temperatura è illuminato in modo fisso) alla temperatura nominale (l’indicatore della temperatura lampeggia).• Continuando a premere uno dei tasti, la temperatura nominale si sposta di 1°C.

• Se non viene più premuto alcun tasto, l’indicatore della temperatura torna dopo ca. 5 sec. in modo automatico alla temperatura effettiva.

Uso

Indicatore di temperatura

L’indicatore di temperatura dà diverse informazioni.

• Durante il normale funzionamento, indica la temperatura presente nel vano frigorifero. (temperatura effettiva).

• Durante l’impostazione della temperatura, la temperatura impostata in quel momento per il vano frigorifero (temperatura nominale) lampeggia.

Attenzione: possono essere necessarie anche 24 ore prima che l’indicatore di temperatura indichi la temperatura effettiva.

Funzione SUPERCOOL

La funzione SUPERCOOL accelera il raffreddamento degli alimenti freschi, proteggendo al tempo stesso quelli già depositati da un riscaldamento indesiderato. In automatico viene prestabilita una temperatura nominale di +2°C.

• Premendo il tasto SUPERCOOL (I) si attiva la relativa funzione. L’indicatore giallo (H) si illumina.

• Premendo nuovamente il tasto SUPERCOOL è possibile terminare in qualsiasi momento questa funzione. L’indicatore giallo si spegne.

• Se la funzione di SUPERCOOL non si interrompe manualmente, viene elettronicamente disinserita in automatico dopo ca. 6 ore.

In caso di interruzione di corrente, la funzione SUPERCOOL viene disattivata!

Dotazione del vano frigorifero Controporta

I balconcini della controporta possono essere estratti per essere spostati o puliti.

Ripiani

Temperatura

Nel vano frigorifero vi sono diverse zone di temperatura. In alto si trova la parte più calda, sopra la copertura dei cassetti per le verdure si trova quella più fredda. La temperatura interna è influenzata dai seguenti fattori.

• Temperatura ambientale

• Frequenza di apertura dello sportello

• Quantità degli alimenti depositati

• Impostazione dell’apparecchio

Spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Per spegnere l’apparecchio, tenere premuto il tasto EIN/AUS (acceso/spento) fino a quando l’indicatore di temperatura si spegne.

L’impostazione della temperatura selezionata viene mantenuta anche in caso di interruzione di corrente.

La distanza tra i ripiani può essere modificata come si desidera. Per rimuovere i ripiani, sollevare dal fondo e tirare in avanti fino a quando si muovono verso l’alto o verso il basso e possono essere estratti. Reinserire i ripiani nella posizione desiderata.

Portabottiglie

Il portabottiglie agganciato ad un ripiano serve a depositare bottiglie e lattine. Per rimuovere il portabottiglie, sollevare il ripiano in vetro sottostante e toglierlo delicatamente. Togliere infine il portabottiglie e rimettere il ripiano in vetro.

Uso

Deposito di alimenti

Quando si depositano gli alimenti, occorre assicurarsi che l’aria fredda possa circolare. I prodotti da raffreddare non devono mai entrare in contatto diretto con la parete posteriore all’interno del vano frigorifero. Possono congelare e restare in parte attaccati alla parete quando vengono rimossi, impedendo così il regolare deflusso della rugiada. Mettere dentro un contenitore e coprire alimenti quali il formaggio, i salumi, la frutta, la verdura, i cibi già cucinati e le insalate preparate. In questo modo si manterranno anche la naturale freschezza e l'aroma. Gli alimenti devono essere collocati secondo le diverse zone di temperatura.

- nei cassetti per la verdura

Utilizzo del vano congelatore

Importante!

In caso di interruzione di corrente, non aprire il frigorifero! Gli alimenti non vanno a male se l’apparecchio è pieno e l'interruzione è di breve durata (vedere indicazioni in "Tempo di conservazione in caso di guasto" nel catalogo o nel materiale pubblicitario). Se l’interruzione si protrae, consumare entro breve tempo gli alimenti scongelati. Aumentando la temperatura degli alimenti surgelati, il tempo di conservazione si riduce.

Regolazione della temperatura

Per impostare la temperatura, usare i relativi tasti sia per il vano frigorifero che per il vano congelatore. Vedere “Utilizzo del vano frigorifero” La giusta temperatura per gli alimenti da surgelare e surgelati è di -18°C

Funzione SUPERFROST

La funzione SUPERFROST accelera il congelamento di alimenti freschi, proteggendo al tempo stesso quelli già presenti da un riscaldamento indesiderato.

• Premendo il tasto SUPERFROST (G) si attiva la relati-

va funzione. L’indicatore giallo (F) si illumina.

• Premendo nuovamente il tasto SUPERFROST è possi-

bile terminare manualmente in qualsiasi momentoquesta funzione. L’indicatore giallo si spegne.

• Se la funzione di SUPERFROST non viene interrotta

manualmente, viene elettronicamente disinserita in automatico dopo ca. 24 ore. L’indicatore giallo si spegne.

In caso di interruzione di corrente, la funzione SUPERFROST viene disattivata!

Uso

Temperatura del vano congelatore

La temperatura interna è influenzata dai seguenti fattori:

- Temperatura ambientale

- Frequenza di apertura dello sportello

- Quantità degli alimenti depositati

- Impostazione dell’apparecchio Attenzione: In caso di riscaldamento del vano congelatore, controllare lo stato degli alimenti surgelati.

Congelamento di alimenti

Per congelare, attivare la funzione SUPERFROST 24 ore prima del congelamento; per quantità ridotte sono sufficienti 4-6 ore.

Dotazione del vano congelatore

Preparazione dei cubetti di ghiaccio

L’apparecchio consente anche di preparare cubetti di ghiaccio. Riempire per ¾ la vaschetta del ghiaccio e metterla nel vano congelatore.

Per estrarre con facilità i cubetti di ghiaccio, mettere la vaschetta sotto l'acqua corrente.

Manutenzione

Scollegare l'apparecchio prima di procedere alle operazioni di manutenzione.

Questo apparecchio contiene idrocarburi all'in-

terno dell'unità di raffreddamento; le operazioni di manutenzione e ricarica devono quindi essere effettuate esclusivamente da tecnici qualificati.

Sbrinamento

Compartimento frigorifero

• Lo sbrinamento del compartimento frigorifero è auto-

matico. L'acqua ottenuta dopo lo sbrinamento viene smaltita attraverso un condotto e conservata in un contenitore sul retro dell'apparecchio, al di sopra del compressore a motore, da dove evapora.

• È importante pulire regolarmente il foro utilizzato per il

drenaggio dell'acqua.

Compartimento freezer

Pulizia

• Rimuovere il ghiaccio con un raschietto in plastica.

• Nel caso in cui lo spessore del ghiaccio superi i 5 mm

è necessario eseguire uno sbrinamento completo.

Procedere nel modo seguente:

• Rimuovere tutti i cibi contenuti nel frigorifero, avvolgerli in vari strati di carta di giornale e collocarli in un luogo fresco.

• Staccare la spina dalla presa a muro o ruotare la manopola del termostato in posizione "0".

• Lasciare aperto lo sportello, collocare una bacinella sulla mensola superiore del compartimento frigorifero, al di sotto del foro di drenaggio, rimuovere la spina come mostrato in figura.

In nessun caso utilizzare oggetti metallici per pulire l'apparecchio per evitare possibili danneggiamenti. Non usare MAI detergenti, polveri abrasive, prodotti pulenti ricchi di profumo o lucidi a base di cera per pulire l'interno per evitare di danneggiare la superficie e di lasciare un forte odore.

Pulire l'interno con acqua calda e bicarbonato di sodio. Risciacquare e asciugare accuratamente.

Quando l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato

Scollegare l'apparecchio dalla rete elettrica.Estrarre tutti i cibi e pulire l'apparecchio, lasciando gli sportelli socchiusi per evitare la formazione di spiacevoli odori.

Sostituzione della lampadina

• Nel caso in cui la luce interna dovesse guastarsi, prima

di tutto spegnere l'apparecchio e scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica.

• Al termine dello sbrinamento, asciugare accuratamente l'interno e reinserire la spina.

• Riportare la manopola del termostato nella posizione desiderata o reinserire la spina nella presa di alimentazione.

• Inserire nuovamente il cibo precedentemente rimosso nel compartimento.

In nessun caso utilizzare attrezzi metallici affilati

per raschiare il ghiaccio dall'evaporatore poiché si rischia di danneggiarlo. Non utilizzare dispositivi meccanici o mezzi artificiali per accelerare il processo di scongelamento oltre a quelli consigliati dal produttore.

Premere sul gancio posteriore e contemporaneamente far scorrere il coperchio nella direzione indicata dalla freccia.

Sostituire la lampadina con una dello stesso voltaggio (il voltaggio massimo è indicato sul diffu-

sore della luce).

Qualcosa non va....

I problemi possono essere dovuti a cause facilmente risolvibili senza bisogno di chiamare il servizio tecnico. Si prega di seguire le seguenti istruzioni:

Sintomo

Lo sportello non si chiude

L'interno del frigorifero è troppo caldo

L'interno del frigorifero è troppo freddo.

Il compressore è continuamente in funzione.

C'è dell'acqua sul pavimento.

Soluzione

Il peso supera il limite della mensola dello sportello, pertanto è necessario distribuire il peso in modo più uniforme o estrarre alcuni prodotti. L'apparecchio non è installato correttamente. Si prega di fare riferimento alla sezione ”Incassamento”.

Impostare una temperatura minore. Distribuire gli alimenti in modo da permettere all'aria fredda di circolare intorno ad essi. Assicurarsi che lo sportello sia completamente chiuso e che la guarnizione isolante sia intatta e pulita. La temperatura della stanza dove è collocato il frigorifero è superiore alla normale temperatura ambientale.

Impostare una temperatura maggiore. Ruotare la manopola del termostato su di un valore più basso. La temperatura della stanza dove è collocato il frigorifero è superiore alla normale temperatura ambientale. Controllare che la ventilazione sia sufficiente e che i fori di ventilazione siano liberi. La causa potrebbe essere rappresentata dall'introduzione di una grande quantità di alimenti e/o dalla frequente apertura/chiusura dello sportello.

Ruotare la manopola del termostato su di un valore più basso. La tem peratura della stanza dove è collocato il frigorifero è superiore alla nor male temperatura ambientale. Controllare che la ventilazione sia suffi ciente e che i fori di ventilazione siano liberi. La causa potrebbe esse re rappresentata dall'introduzione di una grande quantità di alimenti e/o dalla frequente apertura/chiusura dello sportello.

Ciò è normale. Durante lo sbrinamento automatico il ghiaccio si scioglie dalla piastra di raffreddamento. Posizionare il foro di drenaggio situato sul retro del frigorifero sopra la bacinella.

Rumori

Servizio clienti e pezzi di ricambio

Se non è possibile trovare una soluzione per un malfunzionamento all'interno di queste istruzioni operative, contattare il proprio rivenditore o il nostro servizio clienti e consultare la scheda di garanzia. L'ordinazione selettiva di pezzi di ricambio può far risparmiare spostamenti e spese inutili. Per questa ragione fornire sempre le seguenti informazioni sull'apparecchio:

• Nome del modello

• Numero del modello (PNC)

• Numero seriale (S-No.)

Caratteristiche tecniche

Ciò è normale. Il controllo della temperatura può causare suoni simili ad un ticchettio quando il sistema viene collegato o scollegato. Il gas refrigerante introdotto può produrre un suono gorgogliante durante il passaggio all'interno dei tubi. Il motore può provocare un ronzio e/o dei leggeri tonfi.Il materiale isolante utilizzato ha la tendenza ad innalzare leggermente i livelli di rumorosità, tuttavia esso permette re un migliore isolamento ed un consumo energetico minore.

• Durante il normale utilizzo, il condensatore e il compressore sul retro dell'apparecchio si riscaldano in misura considerevole. Assicurarsi sempre che ci sia una ventilazione adeguata poiché in caso contrario è possibile che i componenti vengano danneggiati e il cibo contenuto nel frigorifero debba essere gettato. Fare riferimento alle istruzioni di installazione.

• Importante: se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito con un cavo o un componente speciale reperibili presso il produttore o i suoi agenti di assistenza.

Posizionamento

• Estrarre il frigorifero dalla confezione e controllare che sia in buone condizioni e che non sia stato danneggiato durante il trasporto.

La seguente tabella mostra la temperatura ambientale ottimale per ciascuna classificazione climatica.

Quando la temperatura ambientale non è compresa all'interno dei valori indicati per la classe di questo apparecchio, la temperatura di conservazione dell'apparecchio non può essere garantita; pertanto è consigliabile utilizzare i cibi conservati il prima possibile.

• Collocare il frigorifero lontano dalla luce diretta del sole e dalle fonti di calore.

• Proteggere l'apparecchio dall'esposizione prolungata alla luce diretta del sole.

• Per motivi di sicurezza, i requisiti minimi di ventilazione devono corrispondere a quelli mostrati in Fig.

Attenzione: mantenere i fori di ventilazione liberi da ostruzione.

Prima di effettuare il collegamento, assicurarsi che il voltaggio e la frequenza riportati sulla piastra del numero seriale corrispondano a quelli dell'alimentazione domestica.

Il voltaggio può variare di ±6 punti percentuali rispetto al voltaggio dichiarato.

Per l'utilizzo con voltaggi differenti, è necessario usare un trasformatore adatto.

Importante

L'apparecchio deve essere dotato di messa a terra.

Insieme al cavo di alimentazione viene fornito un contatto a questo scopo. Se la presa di alimentazione domestica non presenta la messa a terra, collegare l'apparecchio ad una messa a terra separata in conformità con le norme vigenti, consultando un tecnico specializzato.

Il produttore non si assume alcuna responsabilità nel caso in cui le precauzioni di sicurezza descritte in precedenza non vengano osservate.

La nicchia che ospiterà il frigorifero deve necessariamente essere dotata di un condotto di ventilazione delle seguenti dimensioni:

La classificazione climatica si trova sulla piastra informativa, collocata all'interno del frigorifero sulla parete sinistra.

Questo apparecchio è conforme con le seguenti direttive E.E.C.:

- 87/308 EEC del 2/6/87 per quanto riguarda la

soppressione delle interferenze radio.

- 73/23 EEC del 19.2.73 (Direttiva sul basso voltaggio) e successive modifiche.

- 89/336 EEC del 3.5.89 (Direttiva sulla compatibilità elettromagnetica) e successive modifiche.

Attenzione!

Deve essere possibile scollegare l'apparecchio dall'alimentazione; la presa deve pertanto essere facilmente accessibile dopo l'installazione.

Si prega di controllare, dopo l'installazione dell'apparecchio e in particolare dopo aver reinserito nei cardini lo sportello, che la guarnizione dello sportello isoli correttamente tutto il bordo. Uno sportello isolato scorrettamente può portare ad un pesante utilizzo di energia per supplire all'aumento di temperatura.

Attenzione!

Se la temperatura ambientale è bassa (come in inverno), la guarnizione potrebbe non adattarsi perfettamente al frigorifero. In tal caso, attendere il naturale adattamento della guarnizione o accelerare questo processo riscaldando la parte in questione con un normale asciugacapelli.
