다림질 하기
1. 제품을 처음 사용할 경우
열판에 부착된 스티커 또는 보호용 호일 등을 제거
하시고, 젖은 헝겊을 이용하여 열판에 묻은 잔류물
을 제거하십시오. 물탱크를 헹구어 주십시오. 처
음으로 전원이 공급되었을 때, 일시적으로 연기나
냄새가 날 수 있습니다.
2. 물탱크에 물 채우기
물탱크에 물을 채우기 전에 전원 코드를 콘센트
에서 빼십시오. 스팀량 조절기를 다리미의 건조
(=스팀없음) 에 맞추신 후, 물주입구 뚜껑을 여십
시오. 비커를 이용하여 최대 수위표시 선 (MAX)
까지 물을 주입하십시오. 물주입구 뚜껑을 닫으십
시오.
3. 전원 플러그를 콘센트에 꽂기
온도 표시등이 켜집니다. 온도 조절기를 조절하여
옷감에 맞는 온도를 설정하십시오. 다리미가 설정
된 온도에 도달하면 온도 표시등이 꺼집니다. 온도
표시등이 꺼지면 다림질을 시작하십시오.
4. 스프레이 기능 및 강력한 순간 스팀 기능
스프레이 기능을 사용할 경우, 물탱크의 물이
적어도 ¼ 이상 채워져 있는지 확인하십시오.
스프레이 버튼을 여러 차례 눌러 다림질할 부분을
적셔주십시오 (A). 강력한 순간 스팀 기능을 사용
할 경우, 물탱크의 물이 적어도 ½ 이상 채워져
있는지 확인하십시오. 순간 스팀 버튼을 여러
차례 눌러 스팀이 원활히 분사될 수 있도록 하십
시오 (B).

5. 수직 스팀 사용하기
순간 수직 스팀 기능은 걸려있는 옷이나 커튼 등
의 주름을 제거하는데 유용합니다. 옷을 옷걸이에
걸어둔 채로, 다리미를 수직으로 들고 10~20cm
거리상태에서 강력한 순간 스팀 버튼을 눌러주십
시오.
6. 3중안전자동전원차단기능
다리미에 전원이 들어와 있는 상태에서 8분 이상
다리미를 수직으로 세워두거나, 열판이 바닥에
닿아있거나 눕혀있는 상태로 30초 이상 방치할 경
우, 신호음이 울리고, 자동 안전 전원 차단 표시등
이 깜박거리면서, 전원이 자동으로 차단됩니다.
다시 다리미질을 시작하시려면 다리미를 들거나
가볍게 움직이십시오.
청소 및 관리 (세제를 사용하지 마십시오)
1. 다리미 세워서 보관하기
젖은 헝겊을 사용하여 다리미 상부를 닦으십시오.
화학 용매제를 사용하지 마십시오. 제품의 외관에
손상을 줄 수 있습니다.
2. 자가세척기능
싱크대 위에서 수평으로 다리미를 잡으십시오.
물탱크에 물을 채워주십시오. 열판의 온도를 올리
십시오. 스팀량 조절기를 자가 세척쪽으로 위치시
키고, 약 5초간 다리미를 앞뒤로 흔들어 물탱크
안에 있는 물과 불순물이 열판의 스팀구멍으로
나오게 하십시오. 자가 세척을 끝내시려면 스팀량
조절기를 놓으십시오.

3. 열판세척하기
연마제나 수세미 같은 거친 재질을 사용하지
마십시오. 열판에 손상을 줄 수 있습니다.
열판의 불순물을 제거하기 위해서는 열판의 열
이 식기 전에 젖은 헝겊으로 열판을 닦아주십시
오. 글리시움 열판은 부드러운 헝겊으로 가볍게
닦아주십시오.

Safety instructions
Read the following instruction carefully
before using machine for the first time.

This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
●
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
●
The appliance may only be connected to a
power supply whose voltage and frequency
comply with the specifications on the
rating plate!
●
The iron is not to be used if it has been
dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage on the iron or its cord or if it is
leaking.
●
The appliance must only be connected to
an earthed socket. If necessary an
extension cable suitable for 10 A can be
used.
●
If the appliance or the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person, in order to avoid hazard.

Theiron must be used and rested on a
stable surface. When placing the iron on its
stand, ensure that the surface on which
the stand is placed is stable.

Never leave the appliance unattended
while connected to the supply mains.

The appliance must be switched off and
the mains plug withdrawn each time after
use, before cleaning and maintenance.

The plug must be removed from the socket
outlet before the water reservoir is filled
with water.

Getting started
1. Before first use.
Remove all adhesive remains and gently rub
with a dampened cloth. Rinse water tank to
remove foreign particles. When turned on
for the fi rst time, temporary
vapours/odours may occur.
2. Filling steam iron with water.
Make sure plug is removed from power outlet.
Turn steam selector to Dry setting and open
fi lling aperture cover. Using beaker
provided, pour water up to maximum level.
Close cover.
3. Plug power cable into a power outlet.
Power indicator light turns on. Set
temperature by turning temperature
selector to adequate choice. When the light
turns off , iron is ready to be used.

4. Using the spray mist and steam jet
function.
Ensure that water tank is at least 1/4 full. Use
spray mist to pre-dampen fabrics by
pressing spray button several times to
release a fine mist (A). To use the steam jet
function, ensure that tank is at least 1/2 full.

5. Steaming hanging items.
Vertical steam jet function is ideal for
steaming curtains, suits and delicate fabrics.
Hang item on a hanger, hold iron at a
distance of 10~20 cm and press steam jet
button. te krijgen (B).
6. 3-way Auto-OFF.
If iron is left unattended on soleplate or on
the side, it turns off after 30 seconds. If left
unattended on the heel, it turns off after 8
minutes. To turn on, just begin to iron again.
Cleaning (do not use any detergent)
1. Always store iron on its heel rest. To clean
exterior surfaces, use a damp soft cloth and
wipe dry. Do not use any chemical solvents,
as these will damage the surface.
2. Self-cleaning function. Hold iron over a
sink. Fill with water. Heat up iron. Move
steam button to selfcleaning position, hold
for 5 seconds to empty water from steam
holes. Release button to stop self-cleaning
function.
3. Cleaning the soleplate. Do not use scouring
pads or harsh cleaners on the soleplate as
these will damage the surface. To remove
burnt residue, iron over a damp cloth while
iron is still hot. To clean the Glissium
TM
soleplate, simply wipe with soft damp cloth
and wipe dry.

Packaging material
