DUNSTABZUGSHAUBE

1 ALLGEMEINES

Das von Ihnen gewählte Modell ist eine Dunstabzugshaube für Abluftbetrieb, das auch für Umluftbetrieb verwendbar ist. Eine Haube im ABLUFTBETRIEB saugt den Kochdunst am Entstehungsort an und leitet ihn ins Freie. Für diese Art von Luftreinigung sind keine Kohlefilter notwendig. Eine Haube im UMLUFTBETRIEB saugt den Kochdunst am Entstehungsort an, reinigt ihn durch Kohlefilter und läßt die gereinigte und vom Geruch befreite Luft wieder in denselben Raum zurückströmen. In dieser Betriebsart ist die Verwendung von Kohlefiltern also unerläßlich (siehe Abb.1). Die Kohlefilter sind als Sonderzubehör erhältlich (siehe SONDERZUBEHÖR).

2 VOR DER MONTAGE

Vor der Montage ist folgendes zu beachten:

2.1) Achten Sie die Mindestabstände zwischen OberKante der Kochstelle und Unterkante der Dunstabzugshaube wie in Abb.2 gezeigt. 600 mm wenn elektrische Kochstelle (wir empfehlen Abstand zwischen 700 – 800mm) 700 mm wenn Gas Kochstelle (wir empfehlen Abstand zwischen 700 – 800mm).

ACHTUNG! Falls der Kunde die Absicht hat, die

jegliche Haftung für eventuelle Beschädigungen der Dunstabzugshaube ab, die durch die starke Hitzeentwicklung entstehen könnten. Außerdem ist die Herstellungsfirma in diesem Fall nicht haftbar für Sach- und Personenschäden, die direkt oder indirekt durch unsachgemäßen Betrieb, Bruch oder möglichen Brand verursacht worden sind. (siehe Abb.2).

2.2) Eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose in einem angemessenen Abstand anbringen; oder ein Anschluss vorbereiten, alle den gesetzlich gültigen Normen entsprechend;

2.3) Wenn das Gerät im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt wird, muß ein Loch durch die Außenwand (d.h. ins Freie) gebohrt werden, damit der Küchendunst abgeleitet werden kann.

ACHTUNG! Es ist verboten, den Luftabzug der Dunstabzugshaube mit

Abluftbetrieb an Rohre von Kesseln, Gas-Dampf- und Rauchkaminen oder an irgendwelchen anderen Abzugsrohren anzubringen, die der Belüftung dienen und für andere Zwecke und andere Geräte bestimmt sind bzw. werden. Die Herstellungsfirma lehnt jegliche Haftung ab, falls das Luftabzugsrohr mit der Abluft von naheliegenden Lokalen oder Schächten verbunden wird, besonders wenn es sich um Räume oder Rohre für Feuerlöschanlagen handelt. Der Benutzer, der diesen Anweisungen zuwiderhandelt, bringt sein Leben und das der anderen in Gefahr! In diesem Fall lehnt der Hersteller jeglich Haftung ab (siehe Abb.3)

2.4) Wenn das Gerät im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt werden soll, muß eine genügende Ersatzluft gesorgt werden und zum Beispiel muß von einem Fachmann eine der Norm entsprechende Lüftungsöffnung in die Außenwand gebohrt werden. Bei Verwendung einer Electrolux Dunstabzugshaube in einem niedrigenergiehaus oder in einem Haus mit Konfortlüftung müssen die Angaben des Herstellers befolgt werden um die Luftverhältnisse nicht negativ zu beeinflussen. Bei Verwendung eines Gasherds ist der gleichzeitige Betrieb der Dunstabzugshaube und einer weiteren raumluftabhängigen Feuerstätte (wie z.B. Gas-, Öl- oder Kohleheizgeräte, Durchlauferhitzer, Warmwasserbereiter oder andere Brennstoffe) nicht geraten. Der Unterdruck im Raum der Kochstelle muß unter 4 Pa (0,04 mbar) liegen

und das Lokal muß genügend belüftet werden. Im Zweifelsfall geben die nationalen und internationalen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen genaue Informationen über die korrekte Installation von Gasgeräten und des gesamten Lüftungsverbundes der Wohnung, um zu verhindern, daß es zu unvollständigen Verbrennungen kommt, die zu gefährlichen Gasentwicklungen führen könnten (siehe Abb.4).

2.5) Wenn die Dunstabzugshaube im Umluftbetrieb verwendet wird, müssen die Kohlefilter gekauft werden (siehe ZUBEHÖR).

3 MONTAGEANLEITUNGEN

ACHTUNG!: Die Dunstabzugshauben ist mit Standard Befestigungselementen

ausgestattet. Der Monteur muß sicherstellen, daß die vorhandene Befestigungselementen für die vorhandene Decken oder Wände geignet sind. Die Herstellungsfirma lehnt jegliche Haftung ab, für Schaden die von unrichtiger Montage verursacht worden sind.

3.1 ENTFERNUNG UND WIEDEREINBAUEN VON METALL-FETTFILTERN

Um die Dunstabzugshaube zu montieren oder die Kohlefilter einzubauen, muß sie geöffnet werden. Dazu müssen die Metall-Fettfilter abgenommen werden. Achtung: Einige Dunstabzugshauben sind mit einen Randabsaugungs-Segmenten ausgestattet die die Fettfilter abdecken: in diesem Fall vor der Entfernung der Metall-Fettfiltern ist es notwendig diese Segmente zu entfernen, dazu ergreifen sie diese seitlich und ziehen sie nach unten (siehe Abb.5). Der Fettfilter wird ENTFERNT (siehe Pfeil Abb.5), indem man:

• den Verschluss öffnet, und den MetallFettfilter nach unten herauszieht.

Der Metall-Fettfilter wird wieder EINGESETZT (siehe Abb.5 - gegen die Pfeilrichtung), indem man;

• die beiden Metalllaschen des Filters an der passenden Stelle einführt;

• den Verschluss nach innen drückt und diesen einrasten lässt.

3.2 MONTAGE UND ENTFERNUNG VON KOHLEFILTERN

Wenn die Dunstabzugshaube im Umluftbetrieb verwendet wird, ist die Montage von Kohlefiltern unbedingt erforderlich. Die Kohlefilter enthalten Aktivkohle, gelten als Zubehör und sind im Fachhandel erhältlich. Es gibt eine Art von Kohlefilter der man regenerieren kann : für die sind die Montage und Gebrauchsanweisungen zusammen mit dem Filter geliefert (Siehe Abb.6b). Gehen Sie für die Montage wie folgt vor:

• auf die Form der Verschlüsse achten;

• den rückwärtigen Teil in die passende Stelle einführen;

• den vorderen Teil des Kohlefilters bis zum Anschlag anheben;

• den Filter durch 90°-Drehung der Verschlüsse befestigen.

Um einen Kohlefilter zu entfernen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor (siehe ABB.6a. gegen die Pfeilrichtung);

• Die 2 Verschlusse um 90° drehen;

• den vorderen Teil des Fettfilters nach unten ziehen;

• den rückwärtigen Teil komplett aus dem Gehäuse herausziehen.

3.3 MONTAGE DER INSELHAUBE MIT DEKORKAMIN

Die Inselhaube mit Dekorkamin ist für Montage an der Decke vorgesehen. Prüfen Sie vor der Montage, daß der Mindestabstand (gem. Pt. 2.1) zwischen Kochfeld und Unterkante der Haube eingehalten werden kann.

• Markieren Sie an der Decke den Mittelpunkt der Haube.

• Markieren Sie mit Hilfe der Bohrschablone die Befestigungslöcher an der Decke.

• Bohren Sie mit einem geeigneten Bohrer die Befestigungslöcher und setzen Sie die Dübel

ein.

• Schrauben Sie das Traggestell an die Decke (Abb.7).

• Befestigen Sie mit 2 Schrauben den oberen Dekorkamin an Traggestell (Abb.8).

• Schieben Sie den unteren Dekorkamin von unten über den Oberen. Befestigen Sie die

zwei Teile mit starkem Klebeband aneinander.

• Schieben Sie die Dunstabzugshaube von unten in das Traggestell und befestigen Sie

diese mit 4 beiliegenden Schrauben M5X14 auf der gewünschten Höhe am Traggestell.

• Um das Abluftrohr anschliessen zu können müssen gegebenenfalls die Dekorkaminteile

wieder herunter gelassen werden.

• Rohr und Elektrokabel anschliessen und den oberen Dekorkaminteil wieder montieren.

3.4 ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE

Das Material des Rohrs muß Korrosions und Wärme und Feuerfest sein. Die Herstellerfirma rät dringestens davon ab, Stutzen oder Rohre mit kleinerem Durchmesser als die der Anschlussstelle zu verwenden. Auch Aluflexschläuche werden nicht empfohlen, weil diese die Leistungen des Gerätes massiv verminden. Das Ende des Rohres an dder Aussenwand muss so montiert sein dass kein Regen, Kein Wind, und keine Fremdkörper ins Innere gelangen können. Im Zweifelsfall, wenden Sie sich an Fachleute aus der Spengler oder Lüftungsbranche.

4 ELEKTRO-INSTALLATION

4.1 ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE

Die Elektro-Installation darf nur von qualifizierten Fachleuten durchgeführt werden und mit Materialien, die den gültigen Normen entsprechen. Der Hersteller lehnt jegliche Haftung für Installationen ab, die von nicht kompetenten Personen durchgeführt worden sind oder für solche, bei denen die gesetzlich gültigen Normen der elektrischen Sicherheit nicht beachtet wurden (sowohl was die Ausführung als auch was die Materialien betrifft).

4.2 ELEKTRISCHE DATEN

Die elektrischen Daten können Sie innen der Haube sehen, nachdem Sie die Fettfilter entfernt haben.

4.3 ANSCHLUSS AN DAS STROMNETZ

Das Stromkabel ist innen bereits angeschlossen und tritt in der Nähe des Luftabzugrohrs aus der Haube heraus. Es können zwei verschiedene Elektro-Installationen durchgeführt werden:

• Festanschluß;

• Anschluß mit Stecker und Steckdose.

4.4 VOR DER ELEKTRO-INSTALLATION

Bevor die elektrischen Anschlüsse installiert werden, muß man:

• nachprüfen, daß die angegebenen elektrischen Daten den Spannungswerten und

Netzfrequenzwerten des Aufstellungsortes entsprechen;

• nachprüfen, daß der Aufstellungsort über eine vorschriftsmäßige Elektroschutz gegen

Kurzschluß und elektrischen Schock verfügt;

• eine Steckdose (oder einen Anschlußpunkt) mit einem genormten zweipoligen Schalter

mit einer Kontaktöffnung von mindestens 3 mm installieren;

• wenn man die Dunstabzugshaube mit einem Stecker installieren will, muß man einen

genormten kaufen, der zugänglich ist;

• vor den Anschlußarbeiten den Strom durch den zweipoligen Schalter ausschalten und erst

nach erfolgter Arbeit wieder einschalten.

5 BEI REPARATUREN ZU BEACHTENDE SICHERHEITSMASSNAHMEN

Reparaturarbeiten und auch die Ersetzung vom Speisekabel dürfen nur von Fachleuten mit genormten Materialien und Geräten durchgeführt werden. Unsachgemäß durchgeführte Reparaturen können Brandgefahr und Stromschläge verursachen.

6 WICHTIGE HINWEISE FÜR DEN SICHEREN GEBRAUCH DES GERÄTES

Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme müssen alle in den vorher beschriebenen Abschnitten der Montageanleitungen genau eingehalten werden. AUSSERDEM MÜSSEN FOLGENDE HINWEISE BEACHTET WERDEN:

• Die Haube ist nicht geeignet um von Kindern oder Leuten mit reduzierten

physischen sensoriellen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten benutzt zu werden, wenn die Person verantwortlich für die Sicherheit die nicht genügend gerichtet hat. Die Kinder sollten beobachtet werden um zu gewährleisten dass die mit der Haube nicht spielen.

• Unter der Dunstabzugshaube darf nicht flambiert werden;

• Starke flammen erzeugende Kochstellen unter der Dunstabzugshaube unbedingt

vermeiden;

• Vermeiden, daß sich die Flammen seitlich über den Topfboden hinaus ausbreiten;

während des Fritierens achtgeben, daß keine überhitzten Fette und Öle aus der Pfanne spritzen, da diese leicht entzünden können.

• Vor Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten die Stromversorgung durch den passenden

Wohungs-Hauptschalter oder den sweipoligen Schalter unterbrechen oder den Stecker herausziehen;

• wenn in dem Raum außer der Haube andere, nicht elektrisch betriebene Geräte (z.B.

Gas- oder Ölöfen) im Betrieb sind, muß für ausreichende Lüftung (Zuluft) gesorgt werden. Für eine sichere Belüftung darf der Unterdruck im Aufstellraum den Wert von 4 Pa (0,04 mbar) nicht überschreiten und es muß in die Außenwand ein passendes Loch gebohrt werden;

• Die Dunstabzugshaube nie ohne Metall-Fettfilter benutzen;

• Die Fettfilter immer sauber halten und die empfohlenen Reinigunszyklen einhalten;

• Die Kohlefilter innerhalb der angegebenen Zeiten auswechseln (wenn die

Dunstabzugshaube mit Umluftbetrieb verwendet wird);

• die Dunstabzugshaube vor Kochbeginn einschalten;

• Den Motor der Dunstabzugshaube ca. 10 Minuten nach Kochende abschalten.

• Die Haube für Absaugung von Gas, Dampf, Dunst oder alles was nicht Koch-Dunst

ist, nicht verwenden.

7 BEDIENUNG UND GEBRAUCH

In der Abb. 9 finden Sie zwei verschieden Sorten von Bedienungen: Abb. 9a SOFT TOUCH Bedienung mit Display und Knöpfe (Sehen Sie Abb.7.1.1). Abb. 9b SOFT TOUCH Bedienung mit Ledpunkte und auf EDELSTAHL siebgedruckte Knöpfe (Sehen Sie Abb.7.2.1).

7.1.1 SOFT TOUCH BEDIENUNG MIT DISPLAY UND KNÖPFE (Abb. 9a)

Die aktivierte Funktionen sind wie unten gegeben:

BELEUCHTUNG: Ein-und Ausschalten der Lampen (Druck weniger als 1

Sekunde).

AUSSCHALTKNOPF DES MOTORS: Zum Ausschalten des Motors.

TIMER: wenn der Timer-Knopf grdrückt wird, wenn die Haube schon läuft, aktiviert

sich eine Schaltuhr, daß heißt einen Countdown von 15 Minuten. Nach diesen 15 Minutes schaltet der Motor sich aus. Während der Schaltuhr, zeigt der Display in fixer Weise die Laufstufe, und Ledpunkt blinkt.

(Aufleuchtender Buchstabe C) Nur wenn die Haube für Umluftbetrieb

verwendet wird. Die Kohlefilter sind zu ersetzten oder zu regenerieren.

7.1.2 AUTOMATISCHE BEHANDLUNG DER FETTFILTER UND KOHLE FILTER WARTUNG

Die elektronische Steuerung erlaubt eine automatische Kontrolle der Fettfilter und Kohlefilter Behandlung (Kohlefilter nur wenn die Haube für Umluftbetrieb verwenden wird), so daß der Verbaucher sich keine Sorge macht, die von letzer Wartung verbrachte Zeit zu zählen. Wenn die Fettfilter zu reinigen sind, leuchtet auf dem Display der Buchstabe F auf. Wenn die Kohlefilter zu ersetzten sind, leuchtet auf dem Display der Buchstabe C auf. Es ist möglich die elektronische Steuerung nach dem Stand der Reinigung der Fettfilter und auch nach dem Verschleißstand der Kohlefilter in folgender Weise zu befragen: den Motor ausschalten und ... ... um Nachrichte über den Stand der Reinigung der Fettfilter zu haben, drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Knöpfe O und -. Auf dem Display erscheint eine Nummer zwischen 0 und 9 inbegriffen; kleiner ist die Nummer,schmutziger sind die Filter; ... um Nachrichte über dem Verschleißstand der Kohlefilter, drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Knöpfe O und +. Auf dem Display erscheint eine Nummer zwischen 0 und 9 inbegriffen. Kleiner ist die Nummer, alter sind die Kohlefilter.

7.1.3 LÖSCHUNG DER FETTFILTER UND KOHLEFILTER ANZEIGE

Nachdem Sie die Wartung der Fettfilter gemacht haben, ist es nötig folgendes zu tun:

• Motor ausschalten (STOP).

• Gleichzeitig für einige Sekunden die Knöpfe O (Null) und T (Timer) drücken

7.1.4 EINSTELLUNG DES ABLUFT/UMLUFT BETRIEBS

Die Haube ist standard für Abluft vorbereitet (nur F Anzeige). Wenn Sie wünschen die Haube für Umluft Betrieb zu verwenden (Anzeige von F und C Buchstabe), gehen Sie wie folgendes weiter:

• Gleichzeitig für ca 5 Sekunden die Knöpfe Licht und Timer drücken, im Display erscheint

das Symbol

• Jedes Mal daß Sie Licht drücken, ist es möglich die gezeigte Wert zu ändern, von O

(Abluftbetrieb) zu 1 (Umluftbetrieb) und umgekehrt.

• O (Null) Knopf drücken um die Wahl des vorherigen Punkts zu bestätigen.

7.2.1 SOFT TOUCH BEDIENUNG MIT AUF EDELSTAHL SIEBGEDRUCKTEN KNÖPFEN

(Abb.9b)

ACHTUNG!: Um die Funktionen zu aktivieren, genügt ein kurzes Antippen auf

die Tasten. Wenn die Tasten zu lange gedrückt werden, wird keine Funktion aktiviert.

Die Funktionen die Sie mit den Knöpfen aktivieren können, sind die folgenden:

7.2.2 AUTOMATISCHE BEHANDLUNG DER FETT-FILTER UND KOHLEFILTER

WARTUNG

Die elektronische Steuerung mit Led-punkten erlaubt eine automatiche Kontrolle der Fett-Filter und Kohle Filter Behandlung (Kohle Filter nur wenn die Haube für Umluftbetrieb verwenden wird) so daß der Verbraucher keine Sorge macht, die von letzter Wartung verbrachte Zeit zu zählen.

7.2.3 LÖSCHUNG DER FETTFILTER UND KOHLEFILTER ANZEIGE

Um die Anzeige der Fettfilter zu löschen, braucht man:

• Motor ausschalten;

• 2 Mal aufeinanderfolgen Timer-Knöpf drücken, bis wann Sie das akustische Signal hören.

Die Bestätigung daß Reset gemacht worden ist, ist das der Led-punkt nicht mehr blinkt. Um die Anzeige der Kohle-Filter zu löschen, braucht man:

• Motor ausschalten;

• 2 Mal aufeinanderfolgen Licht-Knöpf drücken, bis wann Sie das akustische Signal hören.

Die Bestätigung dass Reset gemacht worden ist, ist dass der Led-punkt nicht mehr blinkt. ACHTUNG: Licht Knöpf schaltet Licht nicht ein und aus, bis wann das akustische Signal nicht aufhört.

7.2.4 EINSTELLUNG DER ABLUFTBETRIEB – UMLUFTBETRIEBS FUNKTION

Standard ist die Haube für Abluftbetrieb geliefert. Wenn Sie die Haube im Umluftbetrieb verwenden moechten, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

• Haube vom Stromnetz trennen und dann wieder anschliessen;

• Der Led-punkt des Licht-Knopfes blinkt für ca 10 Sekunden, in dieser Zeit drücken Sie 3

Mal den Licht-Knopf. 3 akustische Signale ertönen, die neue Einstellung ist nun aktiviert.

ACHTUNG: Während der Einstellung der Abluftbetrieb/Umluftbetrieb Art, ist keine Funktion aktivierbar.

Wenn die Haube für Abluftbetrieb eingestellt ist, wenn angeschlossen blinkt für 10 Sekunden der Ledpunkt über den Licht Knopf. Wenn die Haube für Umluftbetrieb eingestellt is, wenn angeschlossen blinkt für 10 Sekunden der Ledpunkt über den Timer Knopf.

Wenn die Fettfilter zu reinigen sind, wird ein akustisches Signal ertönt und der Led-punkt auf dem Timer-Knöpf blinkt;

Wenn die Kohle-Filter zu ersetzen oder zu regenerieren sind, wird ein akustisches Signal ertönt und der Led-

8 WARTUNG

8.1 REINIGUNG DER METALL-FETTFILTER

Die Metall-Fettfilter befinden sich an der unteren Seite der Dunstabzugshaube und dienen dazu, die sich beim Kochen bildenden Fette aufzusaugen, und sollen verhindern, daß der Motor Schaden erleidet. Sie können handgewaschen werden oder im Geschirrspüler gewaschen werden. Beim Handwaschen braucht man nur Warmwasser und Seife, man muß sie mehrmals fest abbürsten und dann mit fliessendem Wasser abspülen. Nach der Reinigung müssen die Filter gut getrocknet und wieder korrekt eingesetzt werden. Es kann möglich sein, daß die Filter nach der Reinigung eine kleine Änderung in der Farbe haben. Wir geben hierunter Hinweise die ratsam zu folgen sind.

Wir empfehlen die FETTFILTER nach 50-100 Stunden von Kocharbeit zu waschen.

• Wenn die Fettfilter sehr schmutzig sind, kann der Motor nur eine geringe Luftmenge absaugen, daher wird die Funktion des Gerätes vermindert.

• Bei zunehmender Sättigung mit fetthaltigen Rückständen erhöht sich außerdem die

8.2 KOHLEFILTER

Die Kohlefilter sind Behälter von AKTIVKOHLE, die am Motor angebracht sind. Sie reinigen den Küchendunst und befreien ihn von Gerüchen. Bei Dunstabzugshauben mit Abluftfunktion brauchen keine Kohlefilter verwendet zu werden, bei Umluftbetrieb hingegen sind sie unbedingt erforderlich.

Wir haben zweite Sorten von Kohle Filter : Kohle Filter die regenerierbar sind 8.2.1 und Kohle Filter die nicht regenerierbar sind 8.2.2.

8.2.1 AK FILTER ZU DUNSTABZUGSHAUBE- REGENERIERBAR

FÜR KOHLE FILTER DIE REGENERIERBAR SIND GIBT ES AUCH EINEN HINWEIS MIT DEM FILTER . Der regenerierbare Longlife Filter ist mit einem Vermerk 230 ° auf dem Filterrahmen gekennzeichnet . GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG Vor der ersten Gebrauch muss die Aktivkohle regeneriert werden, da jede Kohle auch wenn speziell Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt. Diese Feuchtigkeit muss entzogen werden. Die Filterkassette flach auf den Gitterrost in der Mitte Ihres Backhofens legen und bei 230° eine Stunde lang aufheizen. Lassen Sie den Filter anschliessend zwei Stunden vollständit abkühlen. Bei zu frühem einlegen kann die Dunstabzugshaube durch die Restwärme der Kohle beschädigt werden. Der Regenerievorgang kann eine Verfärbung des Filters bewirken. Der Filter kann danach wieder in der Dunstabzugshaube eingesetzt werden. REGENERIERUNG Feuchtigkeit und Fettpartikel verringern das Aufnahmevermögen und daher muss die Kohle Filter nach spätestens der Zeit in der Gebrauchsanweisung regeneriert werden. Die Filterkassette flach auf den Gitterost in der Mitte Ihres Backhofens legen und bei 230° eine Stunde lang aufheizen. Lassen Sie den Filter anschliessend zwei Stunden vollständig abkühlen. Der Filter kann danach wieder in die Dunstabzugshaube eingesetzt werden. Nun ist Ihr Gerät für weitere 4 Monate funktionstüchtig. Wenn der Dunstabzugshaube intensiv gebraucht wird, muss der Filter in kürzeren Zeitabstände regeneriert werden. Der Filter verliert nach ca. 4 Jahre seine Wirksamkeit und sollte komplett ersetzt werden (Spezialkohle kann nicht nachgefüllt werden).

ACHTUNG!

8.2.2 KOHLE FILTER DIE NICHT REGENERIERBAR SIND

Wir empfehlen Ersetzung von Kohle-filter nach 200-300 Stunden von Koch-arbeit. KOHLEFILTER KÖNNEN WEDER GEWASCHEN NOCH REGENERIERT WERDEN, SONDERN MUß MAN SIE AUSWECHSELN. Die Kohle-Filter garantieren nicht den Sauerstoffaustausch der Luft. Um eine korrekte Ventilation und einen genügenden Luftaustausch in den Küchenräumen zu gewährleisten, müssen der nationalen und internationalen Bestimmungen eingehalten werden.

8.3 AUSWECHSELN DER LAMPEN

9 REINIGUNG

Damit die gute Funktionstüchtigkeit der Dunstabzugshaube erhalten bleibt, sollte man die Haube ab und zu reinigen. Folgende Hinweise sind zu folgen:

Es ist ganz wichtig mit dem Tuch der Schleifrichtung zu folgen. (Siehe Abb.11). ES IST ABSOLUT VERBOTEN, FLÜSSIGE MITTEL DIREKT AUF DIE HAUBE AUFZUTRAGEN. Das Tuch muß keine Knöpfen, keinen Reißverschluß haben, oder andere Teile die Oberfläche zerkratzen können. Es is verboten Lösungs, alkolhaltige oder aggressive Mittel oder Benzine zu verwenden, die der Öberflache besonders der lackierten gefährden könnten. Die Herstellungsfirma lehnt jegliche Haftung für unsachgemäße Reinigung ab.

11 STOERUNGEN

Wenn sich die Haube nicht bedienen lässt, machen Sie die Haube für 1 Minute durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers bzw Ausschalten der Sicherung stromlos. Dann schliessen die Haube wieder an. Wenn die Haube scheint ein nicht normales Verhältnis zu haben, lesen Sie die Hinweise für RESET mit Bezug auf die spezifische Steuerung bei Ihrer Haube (Abb.7).

CAPPA ASPIRANTE

1 GENERALITÀ

Il modello da voi scelto è una ASPIRANTE che può anche funzionare da cappa FILTRANTE. Una CAPPA ASPIRANTE preleva l'aria, i fumi ed i vapori di cottura dall'ambiente interno e li riversa all'esterno. Non è necessario l'uso di filtri al carbone per la depurazione. Una CAPPA FILTRANTE preleva l'aria, i fumi ed i vapori di cottura dall'ambiente interno, li depura per mezzo dei filtri al carbone e riversa l'aria depurata nello stesso ambiente. In questo caso l'uso dei filtri carbone è indispensabile (FIG.1). I filtri carbone sono disponibili separatamente, e possono essere acquistati come accessori opzionali (VEDI ACCESSORI OPZIONALI).

2 PRIMA DEL MONTAGGIO

Prima del montaggio occorre:

2.1) Osservare le deguenti distanze minime di installazione tra parte inferiore della cappa e parte superiore del piano cottura, vedi FIG.2: 600 mm se piano di cottura elettrico (si consigliatuna distanza tra 700 e 800 mm), 700 mm se piano di cottura a gas (si consiglia una distanza tra 700 e 800 mm).

2.2) predisporre un punto presa o un collegamento alla rete elettrica a norma;

2.3) se si usa la cappa come cappa aspirante, occorre praticare un foro verso l’esterno

(cioè in aria libera) per l’evacuazione dei fumi.

ATTENZIONE! La ditta costruttrice vieta all’utente di collegare l’eventuale

scarico d’aria della cappa, usata come aspirante, a camini di caldaie di evacuazione gas, fumi o vapori od a qualsiasi altra conduttura, anche solo di aerazione, che è stata, o sarà usata per altri scopi o per altri apparecchi a combustione di gas o altri combustibili. Vieta altresì di collegare il tubo di evacuazione fumi in locali adiacenti o pozzi, o tubi per impianti antincendio. In ogni caso è obbligatorio rispettare tutte le normative in vigore relative allo scarico dell’aria. L’utente che contravviene a queste disposizioni mette a rischio la sua vita e quella degli altri: in tal caso la ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità. (FIG.3)

2.4) Se la cappa viene usata come aspirante occorre garantire un sufficiente ricambio d’aria per esempio praticando un foro di aerazione a norma sulla parete esterna dal personale qualificato. In caso di utilizzo di una cappa Electrolux in una casa a basso consumo energetico o in una casa con areazione di confort, occorre seguire i dati del produttore per non influire in modo negativo sui comportamenti dell’ aria.

Nel caso in cui il piano di cottura sia a gas, non è consigliato l’uso contemporaneo della

cappa con focolari o caminetti, stufe a gas o ad altri combustibili o scaldacqua che bruciano l’ossigeno dell’ambiente per funzionare e comunque la depressione nell’area del piano di cottura deve essere inferiore a 4 Pa (0.04 mbar) ed il locale deve disporre di sufficiente ventilazione. In caso di dubbio le normative nazionali ed internazionali indicano con precisione le regole per l’installazione a regola d’arte di impianti a gas, e ricambio dell’aria ambiente,

2.5) Se la cappa viene usata come filtrante, occorre acquistare i filtri carbone (VEDI ACCESSORI OPZIONALI).

3 ISTRUZIONI PER IL MONTAGGIO

standard. Chi esegue l’installazione deve assicurarsi di utilizzare dispositivi di fissaggio idonei alle pareti e/o soffitti trovati. La ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità per danni causati da montaggi non eseguiti correttamente.

3.1 SMONTAGGIO E RIMONTAGGIO DEI FILTRI ANTIGRASSO

Per montare la cappa o inserire i filtri al carbone, è necessario accedere alla parte interna, perciò occorre togliere i filtri antigrasso. Attenzione: alcune cappe aspiranti sono dotate di filtri estetici con aspirazione perimetrale che coprono i filtri antigrasso; in questi casi prima di smontare i filtri antigrasso è necessario smontare i filtri estetici afferrandoli lateralmente e tirandoli verso il basso FIG.5. PER ESTRARRE un filtro antigrasso (FIG.5, senso della freccia):

• piegare la leva ed estrarre il filtro antigrasso verso il basso.

PER REINTRODURRE un filtro antigrasso (FIG.5 - senso opposto alla freccia):

• inserire il lato posteriore del filtro antigrasso nell’apposita sede;

• piegare la leva verso il basso ed inserire la parte anteriore del filtro;

• rilasciare la leva ed assicurarsi che il perno della maniglia entri nel foro.

3.2 MONTAGGIO e SMONTAGGIO DI EVENTUALI FILTRI CARBONE

Se volete usare la cappa come cappa filtrante è necessario montare i filtri carbone. I filtri carbone, contengono carbone attivo, SONO OPZIONALI e acquistabili separatamente. E’ disponibile un filtro carbone rigenerabile le cui istruzioni di installazione ed uso vengono fornite con il filtro. (Vedi Fig.6b). Procedura per il montaggio:

• fate attenzione alla forma degli innesti;

• inserite il lato posteriore nell’apposito alloggiamento;

• sollevare la parte anteriore del filtro carbone fino ad arrivare a battuta;

• serrare il filtro mediante le due apposite chiusure ruotandole di 90°.

Per togliere il filtro carbone procedete come segue: (VEDI FIG. 6a - SENSO OPPOSTO ALLA FRECCIA):

• ruotare le due chiusure di 90°;

• tirare verso il basso la parte anteriore del filtro;

• completare l’estrazione sfilando la parte posteriore dall’alloggiamento.

3.3 MONTAGGIO CAPPA AD ISOLA CON CAMINO ESTETICO

La cappa ad isola con il camino etetico è prevista per il montaggio a soffitto. Verificare prima del montaggio che la distanza minima (secondo quanto detto nel par.2.1) tra piano do cottura ed angolo sotto sia mantenuta.

• Tracciare sul soffitto il punto centrale della cappa.

• Con l’aiuto della dima marcare i punti di fissaggio a soffitto.

• Con un trapano adatto forare i fori di fissaggio e introdurre i tappi.

• Avvitare la struttura al soffitto (Fig. 7).

• Fissare con due viti il camino decorativo alla struttura (Fig. 8).

• Far scivolare il camino decorativo fisso da sotto dentro quello telescopico. Fissare

ATTENZIONE! La cappa aspirante è equipaggiata con materiale di fissaggio

assieme i due camini con nastro adesivo resistente.

• Far scivolare la cappa da sotto nella struttura e fissare questa con le 4 viti M5x14

all’altezza necessitata sulla struttura.

• Per poter collegare la conduttura occorre che i camini decorativi siano scivolati di nuovo

verso il basso.

• Collegare conduttura e cavi elettrici e poi montare di nuovo il camino decorativo.

3.4 AVVERTENZE GENERALI

Il materiale del tubo deve essere resistente al calore alla fiamma ed alla corrosione. La ditta produttrice sconsiglia l’uso di riduttori e di tubi con diametro piu’ piccolo di quello di uscita della cappa. Anche tubi di alluminio flessibili non sono consigliati in quanto diminuiscono fortemente le prestazioni dell’ apparecchio. La parte terminale del tubo, quella all’esterno del foro parete, deve avere forma appropriata per evitare che piogga, vento o corpi estranei entrino all’interno. In caso di dubbio rivolgersi al personale competente per impianti gas e areazione.

4 INSTALLAZIONE ELETTRICA

4.1 AVVERTENZE

L'installazione elettrica può essere fatta solo da personale professionale esperto, qualificato e abilitato dalle leggi vigenti a svolgere tale mansione usando materiali a norma e modalità di installazione a regola d’arte. L'azienda declina ogni responsabilità per installazioni effettuate da personale non competente e per installazioni che non rispettino le norme vigenti in materia di sicurezza elettrica (sia per modalità che per materiali).

4.2 DATI TECNICI ELETTRICI

I dati tecnici elettrici sono visibili all’interno della cappa dopo aver asportato i filtri antigrasso.

4.3 ALLACCIAMENTO ALLA RETE ELETTRICA

Il cavo flessibile di alimentazione fornito è già collegato internamente e fuoriesce dalla cappa in prossimità del condotto di uscita dell’aria. E’ possibile eseguire due tipi di installazione elettrica:

• installazione fissa;

• installazione con spina su una presa.

4.4 PRIMA DELL’INSTALLAZIONE ELETTRICA

Prima di collegare l’apparecchio occorre:

• verificare che i dati elettrici indicati siano corrispondenti ai valori di tensione e frequenza di

rete dell’appartamento dove si installa la cappa;

• verificare che il locale sia dotato di sistemi di protezione elettrica contro cortocircuiti e

scosse elettriche secondo le norme vigenti;

• far installare una presa di corrente (o punto di collegamento) con a monte un interruttore

bipolare a norma, con apertura dei contatti di almeno 3 mm;

se si intende installare la cappa mediante la spina occorre che la spina sia accessibile;

•

• escludere sempre la tensione di rete con l’interruttore bipolare prima delle operazioni di

collegamento e ripristinare l’alimentazione per il normale uso solo a collegamento completato, provato e sicuro.

5 ATTENZIONI DA SEGUIRE IN CASO DI RIPARAZIONE

Le riparazioni, inclusa l’eventuale sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione, vanno effettuate solo da personale qualificato ed abilitato con modalità, strumenti e materiali a norma. Riparazioni fatte da altri possono essere pericolose e dar luogo a folgorazioni e rischi d’incendio.

6 MODALITÀ D'USO e AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI

Prima del primo utilizzo bisogna rispettare tutti i punti dei paragrafi precedenti. Inoltre occorre:

• la cappa non è idonea per l’uso da parte di bambini o persone con ridotte capacità

fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, a meno che non siano stati specificatamente istruiti dalla persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza;

• i bambini devono essere supervisionati per garantire che non giochino con la

cappa;

• non cucinare piatti “flambé” ossia alla fiamma sotto alla cappa;

• evitare di tenere accesi fornelli che generano forti fiamme libere sotto la cappa;

• evitare che forti fiamme fuoriescano lateralmente dalle pentole; durante le fritture

non far uscire né surriscaldare l’olio della padella perché potrebbe infiammarsi;

• prima di qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o manutenzione, scollegate la cappa

dall’alimentazione di rete tramite l’apposito interruttore generale dell’appartamento o mediante l’interruttore bipolare o togliendo la spina;

• se si usano altri apparecchi a gas, o che consumano l’ossigeno dell’ambiente,

l’aerazione deve essere sufficiente. Per un aerazione sicura la depressione massima del locale non deve superare i 4 Pa (0.04 mbar) e deve essere praticato un foro sulla parete che guarda all’esterno (di diametro e posizione opportuni).

• non utilizzare mai la cappa senza i filtri antigrasso in alluminio;

• mantenere puliti i filtri antigrasso rispettando gli intervalli di pulizia consigliati;

• sostituire i filtri carbone (se la cappa è usata come filtrante) rispettando i tempi

indicati;

• accendere il motore della cappa prima di iniziare a cucinare;

• spegnere il motore della cappa circa 10 minuti dopo aver terminato la cottura;

• non utilizzare la cappa per aspirare gas, fumi, vapori, nebbie o altro che siano

diversi dai normali fumi di cucina.

7 FUNZIONAMENTO ED UTILIZZO

In FIG. 9 sono riportate le possibili tipologie di comando: FIG.9a comando soft touch con display e tasti vedi par.7.1.1; FIG.9b comando soft touch con led e tasti serigrafati sull’acciaio; vedi par.7.2.1;

7.1.1 COMANDO SOFT TOUCH CON DISPLAY E TASTI (FIG.9a )

Le funzioni attivate dai tasti sono elencate qui di seguito:

LUCI: accende/spegne le lampade (pressione minore di 1 secondo);

STOP: arresta il motore;

TIMER: se premuto quando la cappa è già in funzione con una delle velocità

prestabilite, attiva una temporizzazione, cioè un conteggio alla rovescia di 15 minuti, trascorsi i quali il motore si ferma. Durante la temporizzazione il display visualizza in modo fisso la velocità ed il led del punto lampeggia;

diminuisce la velocità del motore;

aumenta la velocità del motore;

VELOCITÀ INTENSIVA: è la velocità più elevata del motore. La velocità intensiva

7.1.2 GESTIONE FILTRI ANTIGRASSO-CARBONE AUTOMATICA

I comandi elettronici con display permettono un controllo automatico della gestione dei filtri antigrasso e carbone (solo nel caso in cui la cappa sia programmata come filtrante) in modo che l’utente non debba preoccuparsi di considerare il tempo trascorso dall’ultima manutenzione effettuata. Quando i filtri metallici antigrasso sono da pulire, nel display lampeggerà la lettera F. Quando i filtri carbone sono da sostituire nel display lampeggerà la lettera C. E’ possibile interrogare l’elettronica sullo stato di pulizia dei filtri antigrasso e sullo stato di usura dei filtri carbone nel seguente modo: arrestare il motore e…

… per conoscere lo stato di pulizia dei filtri antigrasso premere contemporaneamente i tasti

Dopo aver effettuato la manutenzione dei filtri, bisogna:

7.1.4 IMPOSTAZIONE FUNZIONE FILTRANTE/ASPIRANTE

La cappa di serie viene fornita come aspirante (segnalazione solo della lettera F). Se si desidera utilizzare la cappa in modalità filtrante (segnalazione lettera F e C) adottare la seguente procedura:

• premere contemporaneamente per circa 5 secondi i tasti

display il simbolo rappresentato a destra

• ad ogni pressione del tasto Luce è possibile cambiare il valore visualizzato da O

(funzionamento aspirante) ad 1 (funzionamento filtrante) e viceversa;

premere il tasto O (zero) per confermare la scelta effettuata nel punto precedente.

7.2.1 COMANDO SOFT TOUCH CON TASTI SERIGRAFATI SU ACCIAIO (FIG. 9b)

ATTENZIONE! Per attivare le funzioni associate ai tasti, è necessario imprimere sugli stessi un piccolo impulso (poca forza in un breve istante). Pressioni eccessive e prolungate sui tasti non attivano le funzioni associate.

7.2.2 GESTIONE FILTRI ANTIGRASSO-CARBONE AUTOMATICA

I comandi elettronici con i led permettono un controllo automatico della gestione dei filtri antigrasso e carbone (solo nel caso in cui la cappa sia programmata come filtrante) in modo che l’utente non debba preoccuparsi di considerare il tempo trascorso dall’ultima manutenzione effettuata.

7.2.3 AZZERAMENTO DEL CONTATORE FILTRI ANTIGRASSO e/o CARBONE

Per effettuare l’azzeramento del contatore dei filtri antigrasso, si deve:

• arrestare il motore;

• premere due volte consecutivamente il tasto timer fino a che è attivo il segnale acustico.

A conferma dell’avvenuto azzeramento il led smette di lampeggiare. Per effettuare l’azzeramento del contatore dei filtri carbone, si deve:

• arrestare il motore;

• premere due volte consecutivamente il tasto luce fino a che è attivo il segnale acustico.

A conferma dell’avvenuto azzeramento il led smette di lampeggiare. ATTENZIONE: il tasto luce non accende/spegne la luce fino a che il segnale acustico non cessa.

7.2.4 IMPOSTAZIONE FUNZIONE FILTRANTE/ASPIRANTE

La cappa di serie viene fornita come aspirante. Se si desidera utilizzare la cappa in modalità filtrante adottare la seguente procedura:

• togliere tensione alla cappa e successivamente ripristinare il collegamento;

• il led del tasto luce lampeggia per circa 10 secondi, entro tale tempo premere per tre volte

il tasto luce. Vengono emessi tre segnali acustici distinti per segnalare la nuova impostazione.

ATTENZIONE Nella fase di impostazione aspirante-filtrante nessuna funzione può essere attivata.

Se la cappa è impostata come aspirante, quando viene alimentata lampeggia per 10 secondi il led sopra il tasto LUCE. Se la cappa è impostata come filtrante, quando viene alimentata lampeggia per 10 secondi il led sopra il tasto TIMER.

8 MANUTENZIONE

8.1 PULIZIA DEI FILTRI ANTIGRASSO

I filtri metallici antigrasso che si trovano sul fondo della cappa, servono per trattenere i grassi che nell’uso normale sono in sospensione nei fumi di cottura, impedendo che si deteriori il motore; possono essere lavati a mano od in lavastoviglie. Per il lavaggio a mano è sufficiente adoperare acqua calda e sapone, spazzolando con forza molte volte e poi risciacquando sotto acqua corrente. Alla fine del lavaggio i filtri antigrasso devono essere asciugati e rimontati correttamente. E’ possibile che dopo il lavaggio il filtro subisca una lieve alterazione del colore In questo paragrafo vengono date delle linee guida alle quali è bene attenersi.

Si consiglia di lavare i filtri antigrasso dopo circa 50-100 ore di utilizzo del piano cottura.

• Se i filtri antigrasso sono molto sporchi il motore riesce ad aspirare poca quantità d’aria, con diminuzione delle prestazioni.

• I grassi che si accumulano sui filtri antigrasso, se non rimossi con un lavaggio periodico, sono facilmente infiammabili e POSSONO CAUSARE INCENDI.

La ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità per incendi causati da cattiva manutenzione dei filtri antigrasso.

8.2 FILTRI CARBONE

I filtri carbone posti all’ingresso dell’aspirazione del motore, servono per trattenere gli odori dei fumi di cucina. L’uso dei filtri carbone non è necessario se usate la cappa come aspirante. L’uso dei filtri carbone è necessario se si usa la cappa come filtrante. Esistono due tipi di filtri carbone: filtri carbone che sono rigenerabili (vedi par.8.2.1) e filtri carbone che non sono rigenerabili (vedi par.8.2.2).

8.2.1 FILTRI CARBONE AK RIGENERABILI

Per i filtri carbone rigenerabili vengono fornite istruzioni a parte con il filtro. I filtri carbone a lunga vita sono marcati con 230°C sulla cornice. ISTRUZIONI. Il carbone deve essere rigenerato prima del primo utilizzo per eliminare l’umidità presente nello speciale carbone attivo. Mettere la cassetta del filtro sulla griglia nel mezzo del forno e lasciare riscaldare a 230° C per un’ora. Successivamente lasciare raffreddare completamente per due ore. Se il filtro viene montato prima di due ore la cappa puo’ essere danneggiata da residui caldi del carbone. Il processo di rigenerazione puo’ causare un piccolo scolorimento del filtro. Dopo questo tempo il filtro puo’ essere rimontato nella cappa. RIGENERAZIONE L’umidità e le particelle di grasso riducono le prestazioni e per questo il filtro deve essere rigenerato secondo il tempo indicato nel libretto istruzioni. Mettere la cassetta del filtro sulla griglia nel mezzo del forno e lasciare riscaldare a 230°C per un ‘ora. Successivamente lasciare raffreddare completamente per due ore. Solo allora si puo’ rimontare il filtro ed il Vs. apparecchio rifunzionerà per altri 4 mesi. Se la cappa viene utilizzata in modo intensivo il filtro deve essere rigenerato in un intervallo minore di tempo. Dopo 4 anni il filtro perde la sua efficacia e deve essere cambiato completamente (non si puo’ aggiungere carbone speciale).

ATTENZIONE!

8.2.2 FILTRI CARBONE CHE NON SONO RIGENERABILI

Si consiglia di sostituire i filtri carbone dopo circa 200-300 ore di utilizzo del piano cottura.

I filtri carbone non possono essere lavati né rigenerati, ma devono essere sostituiti quando si esauriscono. I filtri carbone non garantiscono il ricambio di ossigeno dell’aria. Per assicurare la corretta ventilazione e il ricambio d’aria nei locali cucina esistono delle norme nazionali ed internazionali che vanno assolutamente rispettate.

La ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità per incendi causati dalla mancata sostituzione dei filtri carbone.

8.3 SOSTITUZIONE DELLE LAMPADE

elettriche. Prima di sostituire le lampade assicuratevi che siano FREDDE e sia esclusa completamente l’alimentazione elettrica.

Per sostituire una lampada ALOGENA (FIG.10) in un faretto procedere come segue:

• Facendo attenzione a non far cadere il vetro smontare la cornice del faretto facendo leva

• estrarre la lampada difettosa;

• prendere la nuova lampada evitando di toccarla direttamente con le dita, per es.

• infilare i due spinotti della lampada nei fori appositi;

• rimontare la cornice del faretto.

ATTENZIONE: (Per Filtri carbone non rigenerabili)

ATTENZIONE! Sostituite sempre le lampade con altre aventi le stesse caratteristiche

con un giravite.

9 PULIZIA

Per conservare in buono stato la cappa, pulirla periodicamente seguendo le avvertenze riportate di seguito.

La sostanza detergente raccomandata è una soluzione di ACQUA e SAPONE LIQUIDO

ATTENZIONE! Assicuratevi che sia esclusa l’alimentazione elettrica.

NEUTRO. E’ molto importante che il sapone liquido sia privo di granuli che possono graffiare la superficie. La soluzione deve essere prima applicata su un panno morbido e poi a mano si strofina il panno sul mantello seguendo necessariamente col panno il senso della satinatura (VEDI FIG.11). E’ fatto assoluto divieto di versare liquidi direttamente sulla cappa. Il panno deve essere privo di bottoni, chiusure lampo, automatici o altro che possa graffiare la superficie. Si vieta l’uso di prodotti aggressivi, granulosi o abrasivi o similari che potrebbero compromettere l’aspetto superficiale del materiale. La ditta costruttrice non risponde di danni sia funzionali che estetici causati da una pulizia non adeguata ai materiali utilizzati od eseguita in modo non corretto.

11 GUASTI

Se la cappa aspirante non risponde al comando togliere tensione alla cappa per circa 1 minuto estraendo la spina di alimentazione o disinserendo l’interruttore di sicurezza e successivamente ripristinare il collegamento. Se il comportamento della cappa sembra anomalo, consultare la procedura di azzeramento filtri relativa al comando che equipaggia il prodotto (vedi capitolo 7).

COOKER HOOD

1 GENERAL

The model you have selected is a decorative suction cooker hood which can also work as filtering hood. A SUCTION HOOD extracts air, fumes and vapours from the inside environment and then expels them outside. It is not necessary to use carbon filters for purifying. A FILTERING HOOD extracts air, fumes and vapours from the inside environment, purifies them by means of carbon filters and then emits the purified air into the same environment. In this case, the use of carbon filters is absolutely necessary (see FIG.1). Carbon filters are available separately and can be purchased as optional accessories (see OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES).

2 BEFORE MOUNTING

Before mounting you should be aware of:

2.1) Check that the minimum distances between the lower part of the cooker hood and the

upper part of the cooker is as given in FIG.2: 600 mm if electric cooker (we advice a minimum distance of 700 - 800 mm); 700 mm if gas cooker (we advise a minimum disance of 700 - 800 mm).

WARNING! It is absolutely forbidden for the user to connect the air

discharge of the hood, when used as a suction hood, to boiler chimneys, gas, fume or vapour scavenging chimneys or any other duct, even only ventilation ducts, which have been used or will be used for other devices. Moreover, it is not permitted to connect the scavenging pipe for fumes in other adjacent rooms or wellholes, or pipes for fire-fighting devices. In any case it is necessary to respect all norms concerning scavenging of the air. Any user who does not adhere to these instructions is risking his own life and the lives of others. In this case, the manufacturer declines any responsibility (see FIG.3).

2.4) If the hood is used as a suction hood, it is necessary to guarantee enough air-

exchange for instance making a hole for ventilation on the outside wall by qualified personnel. In case it is used an ELECTROLUX COOKER HOOD in an low energy consumption house or in a house with confort air, it is necessary to follow the data of the producer, in order not to affect the air behaviour in a negative way. If the cooker is gas, it is not advisable to use the hood at the same time as fireplaces, furnaces, gas or other fuel stoves, or water heaters which burn up oxygen from the environment in order to function, and in any case depression in the cooker area must be below 4 Pa (0.04 mbar) and the room must be sufficiently aired. If in doubt, national and international standards precisely indicate the rules for the state of art installation of gas systems and for environment air change, to avoid the possibility of incomplete combustions with the risk of poisonous fumes being emitted (see FIG. 4).

2.5) If the hood is to be used as a filtering hood, it is necessary to purchase carbon filters

(see ACCESSORIES).

3 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

who is mounting the hood should make sure that the fixing elements are right and suitable for the walls and ceiling he finds. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damages caused by incorrect mounting.

3.1 DISMANTLING AND RE-POSITIONING OF THE GREASE FILTERS

To mount the hood or insert the carbon filters, it is necessary to gain access to the inside, therefore the grease filters should be removed. Attention: some cooker hoods are equipped with blind grease filters for side suction that cover the real grease filters; in these cases before removing the grease filters it is necessary to take away the blind filters by gripping them from the side and pulling them downwards. (FIG.5). TO EXTRACT a grease-filter (see direction of arrow in FIG.5):

• pull the lever and take the grease filter out pulling it downwards. TO RE-POSITION the grease-filter (SEE FIG.5 opposite direction to the arrow):

• insert the back side of the grease filter into its groove;

• pull the lever downwards and insert the front part of the filter;

• release the lever and make sure that the pin of the handle enters into its hole.

3.2 FITTING AND REMOVAL OF EVENTUAL CARBON FILTERS

If you wish to use the hood as a filtering hood, it is necessary to fit the carbon filters. The carbon filters which contain activated carbon ARE OPTIONAL, and can be bought separately. It is available a kind of carbon filter that can be regenerated for which the mounting and use instruction are given separately with the filter. (see FIG.6b). Follow the following procedure for mounting:

• pay attention to the shape of the joints;

• insert the back side into its groove;

• lift the front side of the carbon filter, until it is blocked in position;

• clamp the filter by rotating the 2 knobs at 90°.

To remove a carbon filter proceed as follows: (see FIG.6a, opposite direction of arrows):

• rotate the two knobs at 90°;

• pull the front side of the filters downwards;

• fully extract, by removing the back of the filter from the groove.

3.3 MOUNTING THE ISLAND COOKER HOOD WITH EXTERNAL CHIMNEY

The island cooker hood is intended to be mounted on the kitchen ceiling. First check that the minimum distance between the bottom of the hood and the upper part of the hob is in conformity with indications in par.2.1.

• Mark the centre of the hood on the ceiling;

• according to the technical drawing, mark on the ceiling the position of the fixing points;

• using a suitable drill, make the fixing holes and insert plugs;

• mount the support structure to the ceiling FIG.7;

• fix the upper chimney to the support structure FIG.8, by means of 2 screws;

• slide the fix chimney into the structure from under and block this with 4 screws M5X14 to

• in order to fix the duct it is necessary that the chimneys are again brought to the bottom;

• connect duct and cables and then mount again the chimney.

ATTENTION! The hood is equipped with standard fixing material. The person

the structure at the height needed;

3.4 GENERAL WARNING

The pipe must be heat, flame and corrosionproof. The producer strongly advises against the use of reducers or pipes with smaller diameter to the hood outlet pipe. Also flexible aluminium pipes are not recommended because performance is strongly diminished. The end part of the pipe, on the outside of the hole on the wall, must be of such a shape to avoid rain, gusts of wind or other foreign bodies getting into the pipe. Should there be any doubt, contact anyone specialising in the installation of gas or ventilation system.

4 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

4.1 WARNING

The electrical connection can only be carried out by qualified professional personnel, using standard material and state of the art installation methods. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for installations carried out by unskilled persons and for installations which are not in conformity with the standard norms concerning electrical safety (both concerning methods and materials).

4.2 ELECTRICAL TECHNICAL DATA

The electrical technical data are visible inside the hood after the removal of the grease filters.

4.3 CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY

The flexible feed cable supplied is already connected internally and emerges from the hood near the air outlet duct. It is possible to effect two types of electric installation:

• fixed installation;

• installation by means of plug on a socket.

4.4 BEFORE ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

Before connection you must:

• check that the electrical data indicated are in conformity with the main voltage and frequency values of the building where the hood is to be installed;

• check that the building is fitted with electric safety systems to protect against short circuits and electric shock systems, according to the laws in force;

• install an electric socket (or connection point) with a bipolar switch, which has contacts with an opening of at least 3 mms;

• if it is intended to install the hood with a plug, it is necessary that you have access to the plug.

• always turn off the main voltage supply by means of the bipolar switch before connecting and switch on again only when connections have been completed, tested and are safe.

5 PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IF REPAIRS ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT

Repairs, including the replacement of the feed cable if necessary, are to be carried out only by qualified personnel, using standard methods, instruments and materials. Any repairs carried out by others could prove to be dangerous and could be a fire risk.

6 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE and PRECAUTIONS

Before using for the first time, ensure that all the points in the previous paragraphs have been complied with. MOREOVER remember:

• The hood is not proper for the use of children and people with reduced mental, physical and sensorial capacities unless they have been trained on purpose by the person responsible for their security. Children should be supervised to guarantee that they do not play with the hood.

• not to cook “flambé” dishes, avoid flames directly underneath the hood;

• to avoid leaving on any hot plates which generate strong free flames underneath the

hood;

• to avoid any strong flames being issued from under saucepans at the sides;

• when frying, not to allow oil to splash or overheat in the pan, as this is a fire risk;

• before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the main

supply, by means of the main switch or the bipolar switch or by removing the plug;

• if other gas equipment or equipment which consumes oxygen from the environment is used, ventilation must be sufficient. For safe ventilation, maximum depression in the room should not exceed 4 Pa (0,04 mbar) and there must be a hole on the outside facing wall (suitably positioned and dimensioned);

• never use the hood without the grease filters;

• keep the grease filters clean, taking into account the recommended cleaning

suggestions;

• replace the carbon filters (if the hood is used as a filtering hood), as indicated;

• turn on the hood motor before you start cooking;

• turn off the hood motor about 10 minutes after you have finished cooking;

• do not use the hood to suction gas, fumes, vapours or other substances different

from the normal fumes in the kitchen.

7 FUNCTION AND USE

In FIG. 9 you see the 2 different kinds of controls:

7.1.2 AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF GREASE AND CARBON FILTERS

The electronic controls with display allow automatic control of the grease filters and the carbon filters (only when the hood is used in the filtering version), so that the user does not have to remember when maintenance was last carried out. When the metallic grease filters have to be cleaned, the letter F on the display will flash. When the carbon filters have to be replaced, the letter C on the display will flash. It is possible to consult the electronic system concerning how clean the grease filters are and how worn the carbon filters are, as follows: stop the motor and ...

… to find out how clean the fat filters are, press the O and display, a number between 0 and 9 will appear, the smaller the number, the dirtier the filter is;

… to find out how worn the carbon filters are, press the buttons O and +. On the display, a number between 0 and 9 will appear, the smaller the number, the more worn the filter is.

7.1.3 TO PUT THE GREASE AND/OR CARBON FILTER CONTROL BACK TO ZERO:

• stop the motor (stop position);

• push the push-buttons 0 (zero) and T (timer) at the same time for a few seconds. This

symbol appears

7.1.4 SETTING THE SUCTION /FILTERING USE OF THE HOOD

The hood is delivered standard for suction use (only with flashing F letter). If you wish to use it in the filtering version (F and C flashing) proceed as follows:

press the buttons appear followed by a 0.

• At each pressure of the Light Button, it is possible to change the value shown from the O (suction function), to 1 (filtering function) and viceversa.

• Press the O button (zero) to confirm the choice effected in the previous point.

7.2.1 SOFT TOUCH CONTROLS WITH PUSH BUTTONS SCREENPRINTED ON S/STEEL

WARNING ! To activate the functions connected to these push buttons, it is necessary to apply a little pressure just lightly and for a short time. If pressure is too lengthy on the push buttons the connected functions are not activated.

To put the grease filter counter back to zero you must:

• stop the motor;

• press the timer push button twice in succession, until you hear the acoustic signal.

To confirm reset the led point stops flashing. To put the carbon filter counter back to zero you must:

• stop the motor;

• press the light push button twice in succession until you hear the acoustic signal.

To confirm reset, the led point stops flashing.

ATTENTION: The light push button does not switch on/off the lights until you hear acoustic signal.

7.2.4 SETTING OF THE SUCTION/FILTERING USE OF THE HOOD

The hood is delivered standard for suction use. If you wish to use the hood in the filtering version, proceed as follows:

• disconnect hood from electricity and then reconnect this to electricity;

• the led-point of the light push button will flash for approx. 10 seconds. During this time

press the light push button 3 times. Three acoustic signals are issued to point out the new setting.

ATTENTION: during the suction/filtering setting phase no function can be activated.

If the hood is set for suction, when connected the led point over the LIGHT Push Button is flashing. If the hood is set for filtering, when connected the led point over the TIMER Push Button is flashing.

8 MAINTENANCE

8.1 CLEANING OF GREASE FILTERS

The metallic grease filters are positioned on the bottom of the hood and are used to contain any grease which is normally emitted in cooking fumes, thereby impeding the deterioration of the motor. For washing by hand, use hot water and soap; this can be done by hand brushing vigorously several times and then rinsing under the tap. After washing, the grease filters should be dried and re-fitted correctly. It is possible that after washing the filter colour changes slightly. In this paragraph guide lines are given, which should be complied with.

We recommend washing grease filters after 50-100 hours of use of the hob. If grease filters are dirty, motor can take in just a small quantity of air and performance is reduced; The grease which accumulates on dirty filters is easily inflammable and CAN CAUSE

FIRES, if not eliminated by periodic washes. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for fires caused by poor maintenance of the grease filters.

8.2 CARBON FILTERS

The carbon filters at the suction outlet of the motor, are used to retain the odours of kitchen fumes. It is not necessary to use carbon filters, if the hood is used for suction use. The use of carbon filters is necessary if you use the hood as filtering. We have kinds of carbon filters: Carbon filters that can be regenerated 8.2.1 and Carbon Filters that cannot be regenerated (see 8.2.2).

8.2.1 CARBON FILTER AK WHICH CAN BE REGENERATED

For carbon filter that can be regenerated you also find an instruction with the filter. The carbon filter that can be regenerated is marked with 230 °C on the frame. INSTRUCTIONS The carbon must be regenerated before the first use as the carbon, even if special active carbon, takes on humidity. The humidity must be taken away. Put the filter cassette on the grill of your oven and let is warm up for 1 hour at 230°C. Then wait for 2 hours to let it become completely cold. If the filter is remounted before 2 hours the hood can be damaged by remains of hot carbon. The process of regeneration can cause a light change in the colour of the filter cassette. After this time the filter can be remounted in the hood. REGENERATION Humidity and grease particules reduce the performances of air delivery and for this reason the filter must be regenerated according to the time given in the instruction booklet. Put the filter- cassette on the grill of your oven and let it warm up for 1 hour at 230°C. Then wait for 2 hours to let it become completely cold. Only after this time the filter can be remounted and your hood can work for other 4 months. If you use the hood in an intensive way, the filter must be regenerated in shorter time. After 4 years the filter looses its effectiveness and must be completely replaced ( it is not possible to add special carbon )

8.2.2 CARBON FILTERS THAT CANNOT BE REGENERATED

WE RECOMMEND REPLACING CARBON FILTERS AFTER APPROX. 200-300 HOURS OF USE OF THE HOB.

CARBON FILTERS CANNOT BE WASHED OR RE-CYCLED. THEY MUST BE REPLACED WHEN THEY WEAR OUT. Carbon Filters do not guarantee the interchange of oxygen in the air. To ensure correct ventilation and air interchange in the kitchen, national and international regulations exist, which should be respected.

The manufacturer denies any responsibility for fires caused by failure to replace the carbon filters.

8.3 REPLACEMENT OF LAMPS

characteristics (see TECHNICAL DATA). Before replacing the lamps, make sure that they are cold and that power has been completely turned off.

To replace a halogen lamp with a fixed lamp proceed as follows (see FIG.10):

• dismantle the lamp frame by means of a screwdriver, making sure that the glass does not

• take the faulty lamp out;

• take a new lamp, avoid touching it directly with your fingers, i.e. wrap it in paper;

• insert the two gudgeons into the holes;

• mount back the lamp frame.

WARNING! Always replace the lamps with lamps which have the same electrical

9 CLEANING

To preserve the hood in good condition, clean this periodically following the advice given as follows.

The detergent solution recommended is a combination of WATER and NEUTRAL LIQUID

SOAP. It is of vital importance that the liquid soap should not contain any grains which could scratch the surface. The solution should be applied first onto a soft cloth which is then rubbed over the shell. It is important to follow the pattern of the satin finish with the cloth (see FIG.11). IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO POUR LIQUIDS DIRECTLY ONTO THE HOOD. The cloth used should not have any buttons, zips, fasteners or anything else which could scratch the surface. The use of harsh abrasive or granular products, petrol, spirits or similar products which could damage the surface of the materiall, is severely forbidden. The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damages either functional or to the appearance of the hood, caused by cleaning operations carried out using unsuitable products or unsuitable methods.

11 TROUBLESHOOTING

If the cooker hood is not responding to the controlS, disconnect electricity for about 1 minute, taking the plug out or disconnecting the main electricity supply, then reconnect.

HOTTE ASPIRANTE

1 Généralités

Le modèle que vous avez choisi est une hotte ASPIRANTE qui peut aussi avoir la fonction de hotte FILTRANTE. UNE HOTTE ASPIRANTE prélève l'air, les fumées et les vapeurs de cuisson du milieu intérieur et les répand à l'extérieur. L'utilisation des filtres à charbon pour l'épuration n'est pas nécessaire. Une HOTTE FILTRANTE prélève l'air, les fumées et les vapeurs de cuisson du milieu intérieur, les épure par des filtres à charbon et renverse l'air épuré dans le même milieu. Dans ce cas l'utilisation des filtres à charbon est indispensable (VOIR FIG.1). Les filtres à charbon sont disponibles séparément, et ils peuvent être achetés comme des accessoires optionnels (VOIR ACCESSOIRES OPTIONNELS).

2 AVANT LE MONTAGE

Avant le montage il faut:

2.1) Faire attention aux distances d’ installation entre la partie inférieure de la hotte et la

partie supérieure du plan de cuisson. Voir FIG. 2 600 mm si plan de cuisson electrique (conseil distance entre 700 - 800 mm); 700 mm si plan de cuisson à gas (conseil distance entre 700 - 800 mm).

L'usager qui contrevient à ces dispositions risque sa vie et celle des autres: dans ce cas la maison constructrice décline toute responsabilité (VOIR FIG.3).

2.4) Si la hotte est utilisée comme aspirante, il faudra garantir un rechange d’ air suffisant

par example en pratiquant un trou d'aération selon les normes dans la paroi extérieure par une personne qualifiée . Si l’ on utilise une hotte ELECTROLUX dans une maison à bas consommation energetique ou avec air de confort, il faut suivre les données du producteur pour eviter d’ affecter les comportements de l’ air de manière negative. Dans le cas où le plan de cuisson soit à gaz, l'emploi simultané de la hotte avec des foyers ou des cheminées, des poêles à gaz ou d'autres combustibles, ou des chauffe-eau qui brulent l'oxigène de l'environment pour fonctionner n'est pas à conseiller, et de toute façon, la dépression dans la superficie du plan de cuisson doit être inférieure à 4 Pa

(0.04 mbar) et les locaux doivent avoir une ventilation suffisante.

3 INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE

ATTENTION! La hotte est equipée avec des materiaux standard pour le

montage. Le monteur doit verifier que les elements de fixage sont appropriés aux parois et aux plafonds trouvés. La maison constructrice decline toute responsabilité pour des endommegements causés par un montage qui n’ a pas eté fait de manière correcte.

3.1 DEMONTAGE ET REMONTAGE DES FILTRES ANTIGRAS

Pour fixer la hotte au mur ou pour introduire les filtres à charbon, il est nécessaire d’accéder à la partie intérieure, et donc d’enlever les filtres antigras. Attention: Des hottes sont équipées des filtres estétiques avec aspiration périmétrale qui couvrent les filtres antigras: dans ce cas avant de demonter les filtres antigras il est nécessaire de demonter les filtres estétiques, en les prenant sur le côté et en les tirant vers le bas. FIG.5. POUR EXTRAIRE un filtre antigras (FIG.5 Sens de la flèche):

• Plier le levier et extraire le filtre antigras vers le bas.

Pour REINTRODUIRE un filtre antigras (VOIR FIG.5 sens opposé à la flèche):

• introduire le côté postérieur du filtre antigras dans le canal correspondant;

• plier le levier vers le bas et introduire la partie anterieure du filtre;

• lâcher le ressort du levier et s’assurer que le pivot de la poignée soit le trou.

3.2 MONTAGE ET DEMONTAGE D’ EVENTUELS FILTRES A CHARBON

Si vous voulez utiliser la hotte comme hotte filtrante, il est nécessaire de monter les filtres à charbon. Les filtres à charbon contiennent du charbon actif, ils sont optionnels et on peut les acheter séparément. Il est disponible une sorte de filtre charbon régénerable dont les instructions de montage et emploi sont données avec le filtre. (Voir FIG.6b). Procéder comme suit pour le montage:

• faire attention à la forme des embrayages;

• introduire le côté posterieur dans l’ emplacement correspondant;

• soulever le côté antérieure du filtre charbon jusqu' au blocage;

• serrer le filtre par moyen des deux pommeaux en les tournant 90°.

Pour extraire le filtre à charbon procéder comme suit (VOIR FIG.6a SENS OPPOSÉ AUX FLÈCHES):

• tourner les deux pommeaux de 90°;

• tirer vers le bas la partie antérieure du filtre;

• complèter l’ extraction en défilant la partie postérieure de son emplacement.

3.3 MONTAGE HOTTE ILOT AVEC CHEMINEE ESTETIQUE

La hotte ilôt avec cheminée estètique est prevue pour le montage au plafond de la cuisine, Verifier que la distance de montage minimum entre le fond de la hotte et la partie superieure du plan de cuisson soit conforme a ce qui est indiqué au par. 2.1.

• Marquer sur le plafond le centre de la hotte aspirante.

• Sur la base du dessin technique, marquer sur le plafond les positions de points de fixage.

• Pratiquer les trous de support avec la perceuse appropriée et introduire les bouchons au

ras du plafond.

• Visser la structure portante au plafond FIG.7.

• Fixer par deux vis la buse à la structure FIG.8.

• Faire glisser la buse fixe du dessous dans la buse telescopique. Fixer ensemble avec du

ruban adhésif très solide les deux buses.

• Faire glisser la hotte du dessous dans la structure et la fixer avec 4 vis M5X14 à la structure à l’hauteur necessitée.

• Pour pouvoir brancher la hotte il faut que les buses soient à nouveau glissés vers le bas.

• Brancher la hotte et puis monter à nouveaux la buse decorative.

3.5 ATTENTION EN GENERAL !

Le tuyau doit être résistant à la chaleur, à la flamme et à la corrosion. On déconseille l'usage des tuyaux de diamètre plus petit de celui de sortie de la hotte et des tuyaux en aluminum flexible parce que les performances diminuent. La partie terminale du tuyau, doit avoir une forme appropriée pour éviter que de la pluie, des corps étrangers, ou des souffles de vent entrent dans le tuyau. En cas de doute vous adresser au personnel compétent pour la mise en place d'installations à gaz et à aérage.

4 INSTALLATION ELECTRIQUE

4.1 INSTRUCTIONS

L' installation électrique ne peut être faite que par le personnel expérimenté, qualifié et titulaire d'un certificat d'aptitude professionnelle aux termes de la loi, qui utilise des matériels aux normes et aux modalités d'installation. La maison décline toute responsabilité pour les installations réalisées par des personnes incompétents et pour les installations qui ne respectent pas les règles en vigueur en matière de sécurité électrique (soit les modalités, soit les matériels).

4.2 DONNÉES TECHNIQUES ELECTRIQUES

Les données techniques électriques sont visibles à l'intérieur de la hotte après avoir enlevé les filtres antigras.

4.3 BRANCHEMENT AU RESEAU ELECTRIQUE

Le cable flexible d’alimentation fourni est dèjà branché intérieurement et il sort de la hotte à proximité du conduit d’échappement de l’air. On peut exécuter deux types d’installation électrique:

• installation fixe;

• installation par fiche sur une prise.

4.4 AVANT L’INSTALLATION ELECTRIQUE

Avant de brancher la hotte il faut:

• vérifier que les données électriques indiquées soient correspondantes aux valeurs de tension et de fréquence de réseau de l' endroit où la hotte sera installée;

• vérifier que la pièce ait des systèmes de protection électrique contre les court-circuits et les décharges électriques sur la base des règles en vigueur;

• installer une prise de courant (où point d'assemblage) avec un interrupteur bipolaire aux termes de la loi, avec une ouverture des contacts d'au moins 3 mm;

• si on veut installer la hotte par moyen d'une fiche, la fiche doit être accessible;

• exclure toujours la tension de réseau par l'interrupteur bipolaire avant les opérations de

branchement et rétablir l'alimentation pour l'usage normal seulement à branchement terminé,éprouvé et sûr.

5 INSTRUCTIONS A SUIVRE EN CAS DE REPARATION

Les réparations y compris le remplacement eventuel du cable d'alimentation doivent être effectuées seulement par le personnel qualifié et titulaire d'un certificat d'aptitude professionnelle avec des modalités, des outils et du matériel aux termes de la loi. Les réparations effectuées par d'autres personnes peuvent être dangereuses et peuvent causer des électrocutions et des risques d'incendie.

6 MODE D'EMPLOI ET INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES

Avant le premier emploi il faut respecter tous les points des paragraphes précédents à propos de l'installation de la hotte. En outre il faut:

• La hotte n’est pas apte pour l’ usage de la part des enfants, ou des personnes avec capacités physiques, sensorielles, ou mentales reduites, à moins que elle n’ ont pas eté instruite par la personne responsable pour leur securité.

• ne pas cuisiner de plats flambés sous la hotte;

• éviter d'allumer les fourneaux qui peuvent produire de fortes flammes libres sous la hotte;

• éviter que de fortes flammes sortent latéralement des marmites; pendant que l'on

frie ne pas faire sortir ni surchauffer l'huile de la marmite parce qu'elle pourrait s'enflammer;

• avant n'importe quelle opération de nettoyage ou d'entretien il faut débrancher la hotte de l'alimentation de réseau par l'interrupteur général correspondant de l'appartement ou par l'interrupteur bipolaire, ou détacher la fiche;

• si on utilise d'autres appareils à gaz, ou qui consomment l'oxygène de l'environnement, l'aérage doit être suffisant. Pour un aérage sûr, la dépression la plus haute de la pièce ne doit pas dépasser 4 Pa (0.04 mbar) et il faut pratiquer un trou sur la paroi qui donne à l'extérieur;

• jamais utiliser la hotte sans les filtres antigras;

• maintenir propres les filtres antigras en respectant les intervalles de nettoyage

conseillés (voir par. ENTRETIEN);

• remplacer les filtres à charbon (si la hotte est utilisée comme filtrante) tout en respectant les temps indiqués;

• démarrer le moteur de la hotte avant de commencer à cuisiner;

• éteindre le moteur de la hotte environ 10 minutes après avoir terminé la cuisson;

• jamais utiliser la hotte pour aspirer gas, fumées, vapeurs et tout autre qui soit

different des fumées normales de cuisine.

7 FONCTIONNEMENT ET EMPLOI

Dans la Fig. 9 il y a les differentes possibilités de contrôles: Fig.9a contrôles soft touch avec display et boutons. Voir par.7.1.1. Fig.9b contrôles soft touch avec points de led et boutons serigraphiés sur l’acier. Voir par.7.2.1.

7.1.1 CONTROLES SOFT TOUCH AVEC DISPLAY ET BOUTONS (Fig. 9a)

Les fonctions activées par les boutons sont donnèes comme suit:

LUMIERE: allumage et extinction des lampes (pression inférieure

à une seconde);

STOP MOTEUR: le moteur s’arrête;

TIMER: si pressé quand la hotte est déjà en fonction avec une

des vitesses preétablies, l’on actionne une temporisation, c’est à dire un compte à rebours de 15 minutes, après lesquelles le moteur s’eteint. Pendant la temporisation le display indique de façon fixe le numero de la vitesse et le point du led clignote;

l’on diminue la vitesse du moteur;

l’on augmente la vitesse du moteur;

VITESSE INTENSIVE: la vitesse intensive est la vitesse la plus élevée du

moteur. Elle s’exclut après 5 minutes et le moteur retourne à la deuxième vitesse.

DISPLAY: SIGNIFICATION DES SYMBOLES:

STAND_BY: le moteur de la hotte est eteint;

..... première, deuxième, ..... vitesse;

vitesse intensive activée;

le Led du point qui clignote - timer activé;

(lettre F clignotante) les filtres antigras sont à nettoyer;

(lettre C clignotante) filtre charbon à remplacer ou regenerer

(seuelemt dans le cas de hotte filtrante).

7.1.2 GESTION AUTOMATIQUE DE FILTRES ANTIGRAS ET/OU CHARBON

Les commandes électroniques permettent le contrôle automatique de la gestion de filtres antigras ou à charbon (seulement dans le cas où la hotte est filtrante) de façon que l’usager puisse éviter de devoir compter le temps passé depuis le dernier entretien. Quand le filtres antigras sont à nettoyer, la lettre F sur le display clignotera. Quand les filtres à charbon sont à remplacer, la lettre C sur le display clignotera.

Il est possible d’interroger l’èlectronique sur l’état de nettoyage des filtres antigras et sur l‘état d’usure des filtres à charbon comme suit: arrêter le moteur et… … Pour savoir l’ état de nettoyage de filtres antigras, appuyer en même temps sur les touches 0 et -. Sur le display il y aura un numéro entre 0 et 9, le plus petit le numéro, le plus le filtre est sale et vice versa. … Pour savoir l’état d’usure de filtres à charbon, appuyer en même temps sur les touches O et +. Sur le display il y aura un numéro entre 0 et 9, le plus petit le numéro, le plus le filtre est usé et vice versa.

7.1.3 REMISE A ZERO DU CONTROLE DES FILTRES ANTIGRAS ET/OU CHARBON

Après avoir effectué l’entretien des filtres, il faut:

• éteindre le moteur (position de stop);

• appuyer pour quelques secondes, en même temps, sur les boutons O (zero) et T (le

timer). Ce symbole paraît

7.1.4 REGLAGE DE LA FONCTION ASPIRANTE/FILTRANTE

La hotte est livrée standard pour fonction aspirante (indication de la lettre F seulement). Si l’on veut utiliser la hotte comme filtrante (indication de la lettre F et C) faire comme suit:

• Appuyer en même temps pour ca 5 secondes sur les boutons aura le symbole à droite

• Chaque fois que le bouton Lumière est appuyé, on peut changer la valeur montrée de O (fonction aspirante) à 1 (fonction filtrante) et viceversa:

• Appuyer sur le bouton O (zero) pour confimer le choix effectué au point précedant.

7.2.1 CONTROLES SOFT TOUCH AVEC BOUTONS SERIGRAPHIES SUR L’ACIER

ATTENTION Pour activer les fonctions associées aux boutons, il est nécessaire d’appuyer légèrement sur les boutons (peu de force pour un brèf moment). Pressions excessives et prolongèes sur les boutons n’activent pas les fonctions associèes.

7.2.3 RESET COMPTEUR DES FILTRES ANTIGRAS/CHARBON

• Arrêter le moteur;

• Appuyer deux fois en succession sur le bouton du timer jusqu’ à ce quand le signal sonore

est activé.

Pour confirmer le reset, le point du led arrête de clignoter. Pour faire le reset du compteur de filtres cà charbon, il faut:

• Arrêter le moteur;

• Appuyer deux fois en succession sur le bouton lumière jusqu’à ce quand le signal sonore

est actif.

Pour confirmer le reset, le point du led arrête de clignoter. ATTENTION: Le bouton lumière n’ allume/eteint pas la lumière jusqu’à l’arrêt du signal sonore.

7.2.4 REGLAGE DE LA FONCTION FILTRANTE/ASPIRANTE

La hotte est livrée standard comme aspirante. Si Vous desirez utiliser la hotte comme filtrante, faire comme suit:

• Débrancher la hotte de la tension et en suite re- brancher.

• Le led du bouton lumière clignote pour ca 10 secondes, dans ce delai appuyer pour 3 fois

sur le bouton lumière. Trois signaux sonores differents sont emis pour confirmer la nouvelle organisation.

ATTENTION Dans la phase de reglage aspirante/filtrante aucune fonction peut être activée.

Si la hotte est reglée come aspirante, quand branchée le point du led sur le bouton LUMIERE clignote durant 10 secondes environ. Si la hotte est reglée comme filtrante, quand branchée le point du led sur le bouton TIMER clignote durant 10 secondes environ.

8.1 NETTOYAGE DES FILTRES ANTIGRAS

Les filtres antigras qui se trouvent sur le fond de la hotte servent pour retenir les gras qui sont généralement présents dans les fumées de cuisson et pour éviter que le moteur se détériore: il peuvent être lavés à la main ou en lave-vaisselle. Pour le lavage à main, il suffit d’utiliser de l’ eau chaude et du savon, de brosser avec force plusieurs fois et de le rincer avec de l’eau courante. A la fin du lavage le filtres antigras doivent être essuyés et rassemblés correctement. Il est possible que après le lavage le filtre puisse avoir un leger changement de la couleur. Dans ce paragraphe il y a des instructions conseillé de se conformer.

Si le filtres antigras sont très sales le moteur arrive à aspirer seulement peu d’air, avec diminution de performance. Les gras qui s’accumulent sur les filtres antigras, si non lavés periodiquement sont facilement inflammables et PEUVENT CAUSER DES INCENDIES.

La maison constructrice décline toute responsabilité pour les incendies causés par le mauvais entretien des filtres antigras.

8.2 LES FILTRES A CHARBON

Les filtres à charbon sont placés à l'entrée de l'aspiration du moteur; ils servent pour retenir les odeurs des fumées de la cuisine. L'usage des filtres à charbon n'est pas nécessaire si vous utilisez la hotte comme aspirante. L'usage des filtres à charbon est obligatoire si on utilise la hotte comme filtrante. Nous avons deux genres de filtres charbons – Filtres charbon régénerables 8.2.1 et Filtre charbon qui ne sont pas régénerable 8.2.2.

8.2.1 FILTRES CHARBON REGENERABLES AK

Pour les filtres charbon régénerables on a aussi des instructions à part avec le filtre. Le filtre charbon régénerable Longlife sont marqué 230°C sur le cadre du filtre. NOTICE D’ EMPLOI Le charbon actif doit être régénerée avant le premier emploi car le charbon, même si special peut retenir l’ humidité. Il faut enlever cette humidité. Posez la cassette du filtre à plat sur la grille de Votre four et chauffez la pendant une heure à 230°C. Laissez ensuite refroidir pendant deux heures. Il est important que le filtre soit totalement refroidi avant l’emplacement dans la hotte. Ce procès peut causer un changement leger de couleur de la cassette du filtre. Après ce temps le filtre est prêt à l’emploi et peut être remonté dans la hotte. REGENERATION L’Humidité et le particules de graisse diminuent la capacité d’absorption du fltre à charbon actif. C’est pour cela que le charbon actif doit être régéneré au plus tard dans le délai dans la notice d’emploi. Posez la cassette du filtre à plat sur la grille de Votre four et chauffez la pendant une heure à 230°C. Laissez ensuite refroidir pendant deux heures. Le filtre est maintenant prêt à l’emploi et peut être remonté dans la hotte et Votre appareil peut fonctionner à nouveau pour d’autre quatre mois. Si la hotte est utilisée de façon intensive, le filtre doit être changé dans un intervalle plus bref de temps. Le filtre à charbon actif a une durée de vie d’ environ 4 ans et après il perd son efficacité pourtant doit être remplacé complètement (on ne peut pas mettre de l’autre charbon special dans la cassette).

ATTENTION! On conseille de laver les filtres antigras apres ca 50-100

8.2.2 FILTRES CHARBONS QUI NE SONT PAS REGENERABLE

REGENERABLE On conseille de remplacer les filtres à charbon après ca 200-300 heures d’usage du plan de cuisson. Les filtres à charbon ne peuvent être lavés ni régenerés, mais ils

doivent être remplacés quand il s’ épuisent.Les filtres à charbon ne garantissent pas le recyclage d'oxygène de l'air. Pour assurer la correcte ventilation et le recyclage d'air dans les locaux cuisine il y a des règles nationaux et internationaux absolument à respecter.

Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour les incendies causés par le nonremplaçement des filtres a charbon.

8.3 REPLACEMENT DES LAMPES

les mêmes caractéristiques électriques. Avant de remplacer les lampes, vous assurer qu’elles soient froides, et que l'alimentation électrique soit completement exclue.

Pour remplacer une lampe halogène (FIG.10) il faut proceder comme suit:

• démonter la corniche de la lampe par moyen d’un tournevis;

• extraire la lampe défectueuse;

• prendre une nouvelle lampe, en evitant de la toucher directement avec les doigts, par

• introduire les deux chevilles dans les deux trous;

• monter la corniche de la lampe en la tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.

ATTENTION! Remplacez toujours les lampes avec des nouvelles lampes qui ont

9 NETTOYAGE

Pour garder la hotte en bon état, la nettoyer periodiquement en suivant ce qui suit:

La substance détergente qu'on vous recommande est une solution d'eau et de SAVON

ATTENTION! Assurez-vous que l'alimentation électrique soit excluse.

LIQUIDE NEUTRE. Il est très important que le savon liquide soit sans grains qui peuvent érafler la surface. La solution doit être appliquée sur un chiffon moelleux et ensuite on frotte le manteau avec le chiffon. Il est important de suivre le sens du satinage avec le chiffon. (voir fig.11). IL EST ABSOLUMENT INTERDIT DE VERSER DES LIQUIDES DIRECTEMENT SUR LA HOTTE. Le chiffon doit être sans boutons, fermetures éclair,boutons-pression ou d'autres choses qui peuvent érafler la surface. Il est absolument interdit d'utiliser des solvants chimiques, des produits aggressifs, granuleux ou abrasifs, des essences, des alcools ou des similaires qui pourraient compromettre l'aspect extérieur du manteau. La maison constructrice ne répond pas de dégâts fonctionnels et esthétiques causés par le nettoyage fait avec des produits inappropriés ou d'une façon inadéquate.

11 DERANGEMENT

Si la hotte aspirante ne repond pa aux commandes, débrancher la hotte pour ca 1 minute en enlevant la fiche d’alimentation on l’interrupter de securité et ensuite rebrancher la hotte. Si le comportement de la hotte semble étrange, veuillez regarder les instructions pour le RESET -remise à zero - des filtres concernant les controles de Votre hotte (Voir Par. 7).
