1 Sicherheitshinweise
Die Sicherheit dieses Geräts entspricht
den anerkannten Regeln der Technik.
Dennoch sehen wir uns als Hersteller
veranlasst, Sie mit den nachfolgenden
Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut zu
machen.
Allgemeine Sicherheit
• Die Betriebsspannung des Gerätes und
die Netzspannung sowie die Art des
Stroms müssen übereinstimmen (siehe
Typschild).
• Verbinden Sie das Gerät nur mit einer
ordnungsgemäß installierten geerdeten
Netzsteckdose.
• Ziehen Sie stets den Stecker aus der
Steckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht
gebraucht wird.
• Ziehen Sie den Stecker niemals am
Netzkabel aus der Steckdose!
• Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung oder im
Falle einer Störung zuerst den Gerätestecker aus der Steckdose!

Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn
das Netzkabel beschädigt ist oder das
Gehäuse sichtbare Schäden aufweist.
• Lassen Sie das Netzkabel eines Gerätes
niemals über die Tisch- oder Arbeitsplattenkante hängen oder in Kontakt
mit heißen Flächen kommen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur dann
zusammen mit einem Verlängerungskabel, wenn dieses Kabel

befinden. Reinigen Sie die Krümelschublade regelmäßig. Lassen Sie keine
Krümel in der Krümelschublade ansammeln.
• Bedecken Sie die Toastschlitze beim
Toasten nicht.
• Versuchen Sie niemals, eingeklemmten
Toast, Teekuchen oder Muffins mit einem
Messer oder anderen Gegenstand zu
befreien, da eine Berührung mit span-
nungsführenden Teilen einen Stromschlag verursachen kann.
• Teile oben auf dem Gerät und im Toastschlitz werden heiß - es besteht die
Gefahr von Verbrennungen!
Sicherheit bei der Reinigung und
Pflege
• Befolgen Sie die Reinigungsanweisungen.
• Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung zunächst
den Gerätestecker und lassen Sie das
Gerät abkühlen!
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser

• Verstauen oder bedecken Sie das Gerät

Einstellung 6 ergibt die dunkelste Bräunung. Die zusätzliche Gefriereinstellung dient dem Toasten von
eingefrorenem Brot.
Wir empfehlen eine Einstellung, bei der

der Toast "gold-gelb" oder "hellbraun"
gebräunt wird. Mit dem elektronischen
Bräunungsregler wird sichergestellt, dass
bei gleichem Brottyp stets die gleichen
Ergebnisse erzielt werden, sobald einmal
eine Bräunungseinstellung gewählt
wurde.
Wichtig: Toasten Sie kein altbackenes
1
Brot, Reiscracker oder ähnliches auf
hoher Einstellung, da solches Brot in
Brand geraten kann.

Drücken Sie den Toasthebel (Abb. 1/B)
herunter, um den Toastvorgang zu starten.
Die Kontrollleuchte des Bräunungsreglers
leuchtet auf.
Sobald der Bräunungsgrad erreicht ist,
schaltet der Toaster automatisch ab und
schiebt den Toast nach oben heraus.

Falls Sie den Toast entfernen möchten,
bevor der Zyklus abgeschlossen ist, drücken Sie auf die STOPP-Taste (Abb. 1/F).
Die STOPP-Taste unterbricht den Toastvorgang sofort und der Toast wird nach
oben herausgeschoben.

Um kleine Brote wie Bagel, Teekuchen
oder Muffins zu entfernen, verwenden
Sie den Hubhebel, um den Toast über
die Startposition hinaus anzuheben.
Dadurch vermeiden Sie beim Entfernen
des Toasts Verbrennungen an den Fingern.

Ziehen Sie nach dem Gebrauch den Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
Aufwärmfunktion
Mithilfe der Aufwärmfunktion können
Sie bereits getoastetes Brot warm und
knusprig halten.

Ziehen Sie nach dem Gebrauch und vor

Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
Lassen Sie den Toaster vor der Reinigung
stets abkühlen.
Der Toaster darf nicht mit Flüssigkeiten
in Berührung kommen und niemals in
Flüssigkeiten eingetaucht werden.
Reinigung des Äußeren

Wischen Sie das Äußere mit einem leicht
angefeuchteten Lappen ab und polieren
Sie mit einem weichen trockenen Tuch
nach.
Verwenden Sie keine Metall-Topfkratzer

oder Scheuermittel, da diese die
Außenfläche zerkratzen können.

Um die Krümel zu entfernen, drücken
sie kurz gegen die Schublade und ziehen Sie sie heraus; entleeren Sie sie und

hinein. Reinigen Sie die Krümelschublade regelmäßig.
Lassen Sie keine Krümel ansammeln, da

Reinigen Sie das Innere des Toasters
regelmäßig. Ziehen Sie hierzu den
testecker, drehen Sie das Gerät über
Spüle auf den Kopf und schütteln Sie
alle Krümel sanft heraus.

Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung um die
Leitungsverwahrung an der Unterseite
des Geräts.

General Safety
• The operating voltage of the appliance
and the mains voltage as well as the
type of current must match (see the
rating plate).
• Only plug into a correctly installed
earthed mains socket.
• Always remove the plug when the
appliance is not in use.
• Never pull the plug from the socket by

• Prior to cleaning or in the event of a
malfunction, unplug the appliance

Safety in operation

crumb tray in place. Clean crumb tray

toast, crumpets or muffins with a knife

in the toasting slot will become hot –
there is a risk of burns!
Safety in cleaning and care
• Follow the cleaning instructions.
• Prior to cleaning, unplug the appliance
first and let cool down!
• Do not immerse the appliance in water
or any other liquid.
• Do not store or cover the appliance
until it has fully cooled down.

Before using your appliance for the first
time, remove all packing material, wipe
the housing with a damp cloth and dry.

Plug the power cable into a

To avoid the build up of unpleasant
odours, the appliance should be placed
near an open window and operated a
few times at the maximum browning
setting
without any bread
Toasting bread

Plug the power cable into a 220-240 V
power outlet.

Position the bread into the bread slot
(Fig. 1/C).
The extra wide and deep bread slots

enable you to toast a large variety of
breads – regardless of thickness.
Whether you are toasting thick or thin
bread, your bread will always be held in
the centre of the slot to ensure even
toasting.
0
Select the desired colour setting on the
browning control (Fig. 1/A).
Setting 1 for lightest browning. Setting
6 for darkest browning. The additional
frozen setting is for toasting frozen
bread.
We would recommend to adjust a set-
3
ting that the toast is browned to a
„golden yellow“ or „light-brown“
colour. The electronic browning control
ensures that once a browning setting
has been chosen, the results are always
the same for the same type of bread.
Important: Do not toast stale bread,

rice crackers or similar on a high setting as they may catch fire.

Push the toasting lever (Fig. 1/B) down
to commence the toasting cycle.
The browning control pilot light illuminates.
When the colour setting is achieved,
the toaster will automatically turn off
and slide the toast up.

If you need to remove the toast before
the cycle is complete, then press the
STOP button (Fig. 1/F).
The STOP button will immediately interrupt the toasting cycle and slide the
toast up.
0
To remove small pieces of bread such as
bagels, crumpets or muffins use the
High Lift Lever to lift the toast above
the starting position. This will prevent
burning your fingers as you remove the
toast.
0
After use, remove the plug from the
power outlet.
Reheat function
The reheat function enables you to
warm up already toasted bread to keep
it warm and crisp.
When using the reheat funciton, it is

not necessary to change the setting on
the browning control (Fig. 1/A).

Position the bread into the bread slot
(Fig. 1/C).

Push the toasting lever (Fig. 1/B) down.
The browning control pilot light illuminates.

Then push the reheat button (Fig. 1/
E). The pilot light illuminates.
When the bread is reheated, the
toaster will automatically turn off and
slide the toast up.
Care and Cleaning
Always remove the plug from the

power outlet after use and before
cleaning your toaster.
Before cleaning, always leave the
toaster to cool down.
Liquid must not be applied to the
toaster, the toaster must also never be
immersed in liquid.
To clean the exterior

Wipe exterior with a slightly dampened
cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use metal scourers or abrasives

as this may scratch the exterior surface.
Removable crumb tray

To remove the crumbs, simply push and
slide out the tray, empty and place it
back in the toaster. Clean the crumb
tray regularly.
Do not allow crumbs to accumulate, as

this may cause a potential fire hazard.
To clean the toaster interior

Clean inside the toaster regularly. To do
this, unplug the appliance, turn it
upside down over the sink and gently
shake all the crumbs out.
Storage

Wrap the cable around the cable storage at the underside of the appliance.

1 Οδηγίες ασφαλείας
Αυτή η συσκευή αντιστοιχεί σε
αποδεχόµενα τεχνολογικά πρότυπα
ασφαλείας. Παρόλα αυτά, ως
κατασκευαστές θεωρούµε ευθηνή
µας να σας ενηµερώσοµε για τις
πληροφορίες ασφαλείας που
ακολουθούν.
Γενική ασφάλεια
• Η τάση λειτουργίας συσκευής και η
τάση γενικής παροχής ρεύµατος
πρέπει να είναι ίδιες (δείτε την
πινακίδα χαρακτηριστικών).
• Συνδέστε τη συσκευή µόνο σε µια
γειωµένη πρίζα παροχής ρεύµατος
σωστά εγκαταστηµένη.
• Να βγάζετε πάντα το βύσµα όταν η
συσκευή δεν είναι σε χρήση.
• Μην βγάζετε
πρίζα τραβώντας το καλώδιο
ρεύµατος!
• Πριν το καθαρισµό ή σε περίπτωση
δυσλειτουργίας, να αποσυνδέσετε
πάντα τη συσκευή από το ρεύµα!
• Μη χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή εάν
το κύριο καλώδιο είναι φθαρµένο ή
εάν είναι ορατή η ζηµιά στο
περίβληµα.
• Μην αφήνετε το καλώδιο ρεύµατος
της συσκευής να κρέµεται από την
άκρη ενός τραπεζιού ή πάγκο ή να
ακουµπάει ζεστές επιφάνειες.
• Μην χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή µε
µια προέκταση εκτός αν το καλώδιο
έχει ελεγχτεί και δοκιµαστεί από
έναν αρµόδιο τεχνικό ή
συντήρησης.
• Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή πάνω
ή κοντά σε µια θερµή φλόγα αερίου,
ηλεκτρικό στοιχείο ή ζεστό φούρνο.
Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή πάνω
σε καµία άλλη συσκευή.
• Η επισκευή της συσκευής,
συµπεριλαµβάνοντας την
αντικατάσταση των καλωδίων
ρεύµατος, µπορεί να εκτελεσθεί µόνο
από αρµόδιους µηχανικούς
επισκευής. Μη κατάλληλες επισκευές
µπορεί να έχουν ως αποτέλεσµα
ποτέ το βύσµα από τη
προσωπικό

απαραίτητη η επισκευή,
παρακαλούµε να επικοινωνήσετε µε
το Τµήµα Υποστήριξης Πελατών ή
τον εξουσιοδοτηµένο έµπορο σας.
• Αν η συσκευή χρησιµοποιείται για
λόγους στους οποίους δεν
προορίζεται ή χρησιµοποιείται
λανθασµένα, καµία ευθύνη δε
λαµβάνεται υπόψη για πιθανές ζηµιές
που µπορεί να έχουν συµβεί.
• Αυτή η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται
για χρήση από άτοµο
(συµπεριλαµβάνοντας παιδιά) µε
µειωµένες σωµατικές, αισθητήριες
ή ψυχικές δυνατότητες ή έλλειψη
εµπειρίας και γνώσης εκτός αν έχουν
λάβει αρχική επίβλεψη ή οδηγίες σε
σχέση µε τη χρήση της συσκευής
από ένα άτοµο, υπεύθυνο για την
ασφάλεια τους.
Ασφάλεια Παιδιών
•
Μην αφήνετε ποτέ τη συσκευή χωρίς
επίβλεψη κατά τη χρήση.
• Κρατήστε τα παιδιά µακριά από
ηλεκτρικές συσκευές.
• Τα παιδιά δεν πρέπει να έχουν
πρόσβαση στα υλικά συσκευασίας,
π.χ. πλαστικές σακούλες.
•
Τα παιδιά πρέπει να βρίσκονται κάτω
από επίβλεψη για να εξασφαλιστεί
ότι δεν παίζουν µε τη συσκευή.
Ασφάλεια στη λειτουργία
• Να τοποθετείτε πάντα τη συσκευή
σε µία επίπεδη επιφάνεια.
Μην τοποθετείτε κανένα αντικέιµενο
•
όπως τοστ, χωµί ή παρόµοια στο
πάνω µέρος της τοστιέρας όταν είναι
σε χρήση.
Χρησιµοποιείτε την τοστιέρα µακρυά
•
από τον τοίχο, κουρτίνες ή άλλα
καύσιµα υλικά.
• Μην αφήνετε την τοστιέρα χωρίς
επίβλεψη κατά τη χρήση.
Μη χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή χωρίς
•
να είναι στη θέση του ο δίσκος για τα
ψίχουλα. Καθαρίζετε συστηµατικά
τον δίσκο για την ψίχα. Μην
επιτρέπετε τη συσσώρευση
ψίχουλων από το δίσκο των
ψίχουλων.
• Μην καλύπτεται τις οπές της
τοστιέρες ενώ ψήνετε.
• Μη ψήνετε µπαγιάτικο ψωµί,
ριζογκοφρέτες ή παρόµοια, σε
υψηλές ρυθµίσεις καθώς µπορούν
να πιάσουν φωτιά.
•
Μην προσπαθήσετε ποτέ να εξάγετε
ψωµί που έχει µπλοκάρει, κέικ ή
µάφινς µε ένα µαχαίρι ή άλλο
αντικείµενο, καθώς µπορεί να έρθει
σε επαφή µε ένα ζωνταν ό αντικείµενο
και να προκαλέσει ηλεκτροπληξία.
• Τα µέρη στο πάνω µέρος της
συσκευής και στην οπή ψησίµατος
θα ζεσταθούν - υπάρχει κίνδυνος
καψίµατος!
Ασφάλεια στο καθάρισµα
και συντήρηση
• Ακολουθήστε τις οδηγίες καθαρισµού.
• Πριν τον καθαρισµό, αποσυνδέστε
πρώτα τη συσκευή και αφήστε την να
κρυώσει!
• Μην βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό ή
σε άλλα υγρά.
• Μην αποθηκεύετε ή καλύπτετε τη
συσκευή µέχρι να έχει κρυώσει
πλήρως.
Λειτουργία
Πριν τη χρήση για πρώτη
φορά
0 Πριν χρησιµοποιήσετε τη συσκευή
για πρώτη φορά, αφαιρέστε όλο το
υλικό συσκευασίας, σκουπίστε το
περίβληµα και ένα νωπό ύφασµα
και στεγνώστε.
0 Τοποθετήστε το καλώδιο ρεύµατος
στη πρίζα παροχής 220-240 V.
0 Για να αποφύγετε τη δηµιουργία
δυσάρεστων οσµών, η συσκευή
πρέπει να τοποθετείτε κοντά σε ένα
ανοικτό παράθυρο και να
λειτουργήσει λίγες ώρες στη µέγιστη
ρύθµιση ψησίµατος χωρίς κανένα
ψωµί.

Ψηµένο ψωµί
0 Τοπο θ ετή σ τε το καλώδιο ρεύµατος
στη πρίζα παροχής 220-240 V.
0 Τοπο θ ετή σ τε το ψωµί µέσα στη
σχισµή ψωµιού (εικ. 1/C).
Οι επιπλέον µεγάλες και βαθιές

σχισµές ψωµιού σας απιτρέπουν να
ψήσετε µία µεγάλη ποικιλία ψωµιών
ανεξάρτητα απο το πάχος τους.
Εάν ψήνετε χοντρό ή λεπτό ψωµί, το
ψωµί σας θα βρίσκεται πάντα στο
κέντρο της σχισµής για να βεβαιωθεί
το αντίστοιχο ψήσιµο.
0 Επιλέξτε την επιθυµητή ρύθµιση
χρώµατος στον έλεγχο ψησίµατος
(εικ. 1/Α).
Ρύθµιση 1 για το ελαφρύτερο ψήσιµο.
Ρύθµιση 6 για σκουρότερο ψήσιµο.
Η επιπλέον ρύθµιση ψύξης είναι
για το ψήσιµο παγωµένου ψωµιού.
Προτείνουµε να προσαρµόσετε τη

ρύθµιση έτσι ώστε το τοστ να ψήνεται
µέχρι να πάρει χρώµα „ανοικτού
κίτρινο“ ή „ανοικτού καφέ“. Το
ηλεκτρικό έλεγχο ψησίµατος
βεβαιώνει ότι µόλις επιλεγεί η
ρύθµιση ψησίµατος, τα αποτελέσµατα
είναι πάντα τα ίδια για τον ίδιο τύπο
ψωµιού.
Σηµαντικό! Μη ψήνετε µπαγιάτικο

ψωµί, ριζογκοφρέτες ή παρόµοια, σε
υψηλές ρυθµίσεις καθώς µπορούν
να πιάσουν φωτιά.
0 Σπρώξτε το µοχλό ψησίµατος (εικ.
1/Β) προς τα κάτω για να ξεκινήσει
ο κύκλος ψησίµατος.
Αναβοσβήνει το φως ελέγχου
ψησίµατος.
Μόλις επιτευχθεί η ρύθµιση
χρώµατος, η ψηστιέρα θα
απενεργοποιηθεί αυτόµατα και θα
κυλίσει προς τα πάνω
0 Εάν χρειάζεται να αφαιρέσετε το
τοστ πριν ολοκληρωθεί ο κύκλος,
πιέστε το κουµπί STOP (εικ. 1/F).
Το κουµπί STOP θα σταµατήσει
αµέσως τον κύκλο ψησίµατος και
θα κυλίσει το τοστ προς τα πάνω.

0 Για να αφαιρέσετε µικρά κοµµάτια
ψωµιού όπως bagels, κέικ ή µαφινσ
χρησιµοποιήστε το Μοχλό Υψηλής
Ανύψωσης για να ψήσετε πάνω από
τη θέση εκκίνησης. Αυτό θα
αποτρέψει το κάψιµο των δακτύλων
σας καθώς αφαιρείτε το τοστ σας.
0

Μετά τη χρήση, αφαιρέστε το βύσµα
από την πρίζα στον τοίχο.
Λειτουργία ξαναζεστάµατος
Η λειτουργία ξαναζεστάµατος σας
επιτρέπει να ζεστάνετε το ήδη
ψηµένο ψωµί και να το διατηρήσετε
ζεστό και τραγανό.
Όταν χρησιµοποιείτε τη λειτουργία

επαναζεστάµατος, δεν είναι
απαραίτητο να αλλάξετε τη ρύθµιση
στο έλεγχο ψησίµατος (εικ.1/Α).
0 Τοποθετήστε το ψωµί µέσα στη
σχισµή ψωµιού (εικ. 1/C).
0 Σπρώξτε το µοχλό ψησίµατος
(εικ. 1/Β) προς τα κάτω.
Αναβοσβήνει το φως ελέγχου
ψησίµατος.
0 Στη συνέχεια σπρώξτε το κουµπί
επαναζεστάµατος (εικ. 1/Ε).
Αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη του
ενδεικτικού φωτός
Μόλις επιτευχθεί η ρύθµιση
χρώµατος, η ψηστιέρα θα
απενεργοποιηθεί αυτόµατα και θα
κυλίσει προς τα πάνω.

Καθάρισµα και Συντήρηση
Αφαιρείτε πάντα το βύσµα από την
1
πρίζα στον τοίχο µετά τη χρήση και
πριν καθαρίσετε την τοστιέρα.
Πριν τον καθαρισµό, αφήνετε πάντα
την τοστιέρα να κρυώσει.
∆εν πρέπει να ρίχνετε υγρά στην
τοστιέρα, η τοστιέρα δεν πρέπει
ποτέ να βυθίζεται σε υγρό.

Για να καθαρίσετε το
εξωτερικό
0 Καθαρίστε το εξωτερικό µε ένα
ελαφρώς νωπό ύφασµα και γυαλίστε
µε ένα µαλακό στεγνό ύφασµα.
Μη χρησιµοποιείτε µεταλλικά
1
σφουγγάρια ή στιλβωτικά καθώς
µπορεί να γδάρουν την εξωτερική
επιφάνεια.
Αποσπώµενος δίσκος
ψίχουλών
0 Για να αφαιρέσετε τα ψίχουλα,
σπρώξτε απλά και κυλίστε το δίσκο,
αδειάστε τον και τοποθετήστε τον
στο πίσω µέρος της τοστιέρας.
Καθαρίζετε συστηµατικά τον δίσκο
για την ψίχα.
Μην επιτρέπετε τη συσσώρευση
1
ψίχουλων, καθώς µπορεί να
προκαλέσουν µερικό κίνδυνο
πυρκαγιάς.
Για να καθαρίσετε το
εσωτερικό της τοστιέρας
0 Καθαρίζετε συστηµατικά το
εσωτερικό της τοστιέρας. Για να το
πραγµατοποιήσετε αυτό, γυρίστε την
πάνω κάτω πάνω από το νεροχύτη
και ελαφρά ανακινείστε το για να
πέσουν όλα τα ψίχουλα.
Αποθήκευση
0
Σκουπίστε το καλώδιο γύρω από την
αποθήκευση καλωδίου στο κάτω
µέρος της συσκευής.

Τα υλικά συσκευασίας είναι φιλικά
προς το περιβάλλων και µπορεί να
ανακυκλωθούν. Τα πλαστικά µέρη
αναγνωρίζονται από τα σηµάδια, π.χ.
>PE<, >PS<, κλπ. Παρακαλώ,
απορρίψτε τα υλικά συσκευασίας
στους κατάλληλους κάδους της
απόρριψης της κοινότητας.
Παλιές συσκευές

Το σύµβουλο
στη συσκευασία του δείχνει ότι το
προϊόν δεν µπορεί να χειριστεί ως
οικιακό απόρριµµα. Πρέπει να
παραδοθεί στο σηµείο συλλογής
για την ανακύκλωση ηλεκτρικού και
ηλεκτρονικού εξοπλισµού.
Εξασφαλίζοντας ότι το προϊόν έχει
απορριφθεί σωστά, βοηθάτε την
αποτροπή πιθανών αρνητικών
συνεπειών για το περιβάλλον και την
υγειά ανθρώπων, τα οποία µπορεί
να δηµιουργηθούν από ακατάλληλη
