bevor Sie Ihr neues Kältegerät in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie bitte diese Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam durch. Sie enthält wichtige Informationen zum sicheren Gebrauch, zum Aufstellen und zur Pflege des Gerätes.

Bewahren Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung zum späteren Nachschlagen auf. Geben Sie sie an eventuelle Nachbesitzer des Gerätes weiter.

Hinweis: Diese Gebrauchsanweisung ist für mehrere technisch vergleichbare Modelle mit unterschiedlicher Ausstattung bestimmt. Beachten Sie bitte nur die Hinweise, die Ihre Geräteausführung betreffen.

Mit dem Warndreieck und/oder durch Signalwörter (Warnung!, Vorsicht!, Achtung!) sind Hinweise hervorgehoben, die für Ihre Sicherheit oder für die Funktionsfähigkeit des Gerätes wichtig sind. Bitte unbedingt beachten.

Nach diesem Zeichen erhalten Sie ergänzende Informationen zur Bedienung und praktischen Anwendung des Gerätes.

Mit der Blume sind Tips und Hinweise zum wirtschaftlichen und umweltschonenden Einsatz des Gerätes gekennzeichnet.

Für evtl. auftretende Störungen enthält die Gebrauchsanweisung Hinweise zur selbständigen Behebung, siehe Abschnitt "Was tun, wenn ...". Sollten diese Hinweise nicht ausreichen, haben Sie jederzeit zwei Anlaufstellen, bei denen Ihnen weitergeholfen wird:

Sicherheit

Die Sicherheit unserer Kältegeräte entspricht den anerkannten Regeln der Technik und dem Gerätesicherheitsgesetz. Dennoch sehen wir uns veranlaßt, Sie mit folgenden Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut zu machen:

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

• Das Kältegerät ist für die Verwendung im Haushalt bestimmt. Es eignet sich zum Einfrieren und Tiefkühllagern von Lebensmitteln sowie zur Eisbereitung. Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet oder falsch bedient, kann vom Hersteller keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden übernommen werden.

• Umbauten oder Veränderungen am Kältegerät sind aus Sicherheits-gründen nicht zulässig.

• Sollten Sie das Kältegerät gewerblich oder für andere Zwecke als zum Tiefkühllagern und Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln benutzen, beachten Sie bitte die für Ihren Bereich gültigen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme

• Überprüfen Sie das Kältegerät auf Transportschäden. Ein beschädigtes Gerät auf keinen Fall anschließen! Wenden Sie sich im Schadensfall bitte an den Lieferanten.

Kältemittel

Das Gerät enthält im Kältemittelkreislauf das Kältemittel Isobutan (R600a), ein Naturgas mit hoher Umweltverträglichkeit, das jedoch brennbar ist.

• Achten Sie beim Transportieren und Aufstellen des Gerätes darauf, daß keine Teile des Kältemittelkreislaufs beschädigt werden.

• Bei Beschädigung des Kältemittelkreislaufs:

– offenes Feuer und Zündquellen unbedingt vermeiden; – den Raum, in dem das Gerät steht, gut durchlüften.

Sicherheit von Kindern

• Verpackungsteile (z. B. Folien, Styropor) können für Kinder gefährlich sein. Erstickungsgefahr! Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern fernhalten!

• Ausgediente Altgeräte bitte vor der Entsorgung unbrauchbar machen. Netzstecker ziehen, Netzkabel durchtrennen, eventuell vorhandene Schnapp- oder Riegelschlösser entfernen oder zerstören. Dadurch verhindern Sie, daß sich spielende Kinder im Gerät einsperren (Erstickungsgefahr!) oder in andere lebensgefährliche Situationen geraten.

• Das Gerät darf von Kindern und Personen, deren physische, sensorische oder geistige Fähigkeiten sowie Mangel an Erfahrung und Kenntnissen einen sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes ausschließen, nur unter Aufsicht oder nach entsprechender Einweisung durch eine P erson benutzt werden, die sicherstellt, dass sie sich den Gefahren des Gebrauchs bewusst sind. Kinder sind zu beaufsichtigen, sodass sie nicht am Gerät spielen können.

Im Alltagsbetrieb

• Behälter mit brennbaren Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten können durch Kälteeinwirkung undicht werden. Explosionsgefahr! Lagern Sie keine Behälter mit brennbaren Stoffen, wie z.B. Spr aydosen, Feuerzeug-Nachfüllkartuschen etc. im Kältegerät.

• Flaschen und Dosen dürfen nicht in den Gefrierraum. Sie können springen, wenn der Inhalt gefriert - bei kohlensäurehaltigem Inhalt sogar explodieren! Legen Sie nie Limonaden, Säfte, Bier , W ein, Sekt usw. in den Gefrierraum. Ausnahme: Hochprozentige Spirituosen können im Gefrierraum gelagert werden.

• Speiseeis und Eiswürfel nicht unmittelbar aus dem Gefrierraum in den Mund nehmen. Sehr kaltes Eis kann an Lippen oder Zunge festfrieren und Verletzungen verursachen.

• Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Die Hände könnten daran festfrieren.

• Keine Elektrogeräte (z. B. elektrische Eismaschinen, Rührgeräte etc.) im Kältegerät betreiben.

• Vor Reinigungsarbeiten das Gerät grundsätzlich abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung in der Wohnung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.

• Netzstecker immer am Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, nie am Kabel.

Im Störungsfall

• Sollte einmal eine Störung am Gerät auftreten, sehen Sie bitte zuerst in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung unter "Was tun, wenn ..." nach. Falls die dort aufgeführten Hinweise nicht weiterhelfen, führen Sie bitte keine weiteren Arbeiten selbst aus.

• Kältegeräte dürfen nur von Fachkräften repariert werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen. Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall bitte an Ihren Fachhändler oder an unseren Kundendienst.

Entsorgung

Information zur Geräteverpackung

Alle verwendeten Werkstoffe sind umweltverträglich! Sie können gefahrlos deponiert oder in der Müllverbrennungsanlage verbrannt werden!

Zu den Werkstoffen: Die Kunststoffe können auch wiederverwertet werden und sind folgendermaßen gekennzeichnet:

>PE< für Polyäthylen, z. B. bei der äußer en Hülle und den Beuteln im Innern. >PS< für geschäumtes Polystyrol, z. B. bei den Polsterteilen, grundsätzlich

FCKW-frei. Die Kartonteile werden aus Altpapier hergestellt und sollten auch wie-der

zur Altpapiersammlung gegeben werden.

Entsorgung von Altgeräten

Aus Umweltschutzgründen müssen Kältegeräte fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Dies gilt für Ihr bisheriges Gerät und - nachdem es eines Tages ausgedient hat - auch für Ihr neues Gerät.

Warnung! Ausgediente Altgeräte bitte vor der Entsorgung unbrauch-bar machen. Netzstecker ziehen, Netzkabel durchtrennen, eventuell vorhandene Schnapp- oder Riegelschlösser entfernen oder zerstören. Dadurch verhindern Sie, daß sich spielende Kinder im Gerät einsperren (Erstickungsgefahr!) oder in andere lebensgefährliche Situationen geraten.

Entsorgungshinweise:

• Das Gerät darf nicht mit dem Haus- oder Sperrmüll entsorgt werden.

• Der Kältemittelkreislauf, insbesondere der Wärmetauscher an der Geräterückseite, darf nicht beschädigt werden.

• Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht als normaler Haushaltsabfall zu behandeln ist, sondern an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden muss. Durch Ihren Beitrag zum korrekten Entsorgen dieses Produkts schützen Sie die Umwelt und die Gesundheit Ihrer Mitmenschen. Umwelt und Gesundheit werden durch falsches Entsorgen gefährdet. Weitere Informationen über das Recycling dieses Produkts erhalten Sie von Ihrem Rathaus, Ihrer Müllabfuhr oder dem Geschäft, in dem Sie das Produkt gekauft haben.

Transportschutz entfernen

Das Gerät sowie Teile der Innenausstattung sind für den Transport geschützt.

• Klebebänder links und rechts an den Türaußenseiten abziehen.

• Alle Klebebänder sowie Polsterteile aus dem Geräteinnenraum entfernen.

Aufstellen

Aufstellort

Das Gerät soll in einem gut belüfteten und trockenen Raum stehen. Die Umgebungstemperatur wirkt sich auf den Stromverbrauch und die einwandfreie Funktion des Gerätes aus. Daher sollte das Gerät – nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sein; – nicht an Heizkörpern, neben einem Herd oder sonstigen Wärmequellen

stehen;

– nur an einem Ort stehen, dessen Umgebungstemperatur der Klimaklasse

entspricht, für die das Gerät ausgelegt ist.

Die Klimaklasse finden Sie auf dem Typschild, das sich links im Innenraum des Kühlraumes befindet. Nachstehende Tabelle zeigt, welche Umgebungstemperatur welcher Klimaklasse zugeordnet ist:

Ist die Aufstellung neben einer Wärmequelle unvermeidbar, sind folgende seitliche Mindestabstände einzuhalten:

– zu Elektroherden 3 cm; – zu Öl- und Kohleherden 30 cm. Können diese Abstände nicht eingehalten werden, ist eine Wärmeschutz-

platte zwischen Herd und Kältegerät erforderlich. Steht das Kältegerät neben einem anderen Kühl- oder Gefriergerät, ist ein

seitlicher Abstand von 5 cm erforderlich, damit sich an den Geräte-Außenseiten kein Schwitzwasser bildet..

"Direkter Einbau unter einem Kochfeld ist nicht zulässig. Die teilweise hohen Abstrahlungstemperaturen des K ochfeldes können das Gerät beschädigen. Wird in der Nähe ein Kochfeld eingebaut, sind die zugehörigen Einbau- und Schutzvorschriften zu beachten. Durch die Vielzahl der möglichen

Einbausituationen können hier keine detailierten Angaben erfolgen. Eine Erwärmung des Kältegerätes ist durch ausreichenden Abstand und Einbringung einer geeigneten Wärmeschutzplatte zu verhindern. Die ordnungsgemäße Be- und Entlüftung des Kältegerätes muß gewährleistet sein."

Vor Inbetriebnahme

• Das Geräteinnere und alle Ausstattungsteile bitte vor Erstinbetriebnahme reinigen (siehe Abschnitt "Reinigung und Pflege").

Elektrischer Anschluß

Für den elektrischen Anschluß ist eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose erforderlich. Sie sollte so gesetzt sein, daß ein Ziehen des Netzsteckers möglich ist. Die elektrische Absicherung muß mindestens 10/16 Ampere betragen.

Ist die Steckdose bei eingebautem Gerät nicht mehr zugänglich, muß eine geeignete Maßnahme in der Elektroinstallation sicherstellen, daß das Gerät vom Netz getrennt werden kann (z. B. Sicherung, LS-Schalter, FehlerstromSchutzschalter oder dergleichen mit einer Kontaktöffnungsweite von mindestens 3 mm).

• Vor Inbetriebnahme am Typschild des Gerätes überprüfen, ob Anschlußspannung und Stromart mit den Werten des Stromnetzes am Aufstellort übereinstimmen.

Z. B.: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz oder

230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (d. h. 230 bis 240 Volt Wechselstrom, 50 Hertz) Das Typschild befindet sich links im Innenraum des Gerätes.

Bedienungs- und Kontrolleinrichtung

Tasten zur Temperatureinstellung

Die Temperatureinstellung erfolgt dur ch die Tasten C und E. Die Tasten stehen in Verbindung mit der Temperaturanzeige.

• Durch Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten C oder E wird die T emper aturanzeige von der IST-Temperatur (T emperatur anzeige leuchtet) auf die SOLL-Temperatur (Temperaturanzeige blinkt) umgeschaltet.

• Mit jedem weiteren Druck auf eine der beiden Tasten wird die SOLL- Temperatur um 1 °C weiter gestellt. Die SOLL- Temperatur muss innerhalb 24 Stunden erreicht werden.

• Wird keine Taste gedrückt, schaltet die Temperaturanzeige nach kurzer Zeit (ca. 5 sec.) automatisch wieder auf die IST-Temperatur zurück.

SOLL-Temperatur bedeutet:

Die Temperatur, die im Gefrierraum vorhanden sein soll. Die SOLL-Temper atur wird durch blinkende Zahlen angezeigt.

IST-Temperatur bedeutet:

Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt die Temperatur an, die momentan tatsächlich im Gefrierraum vorhanden ist. Die IST-Temperatur wird durch leuchtende Zahlen angezeigt.

Temperaturanzeige

Die Temperaturanzeige kann mehrere Informationen anzeigen.

• Bei normalem Betrieb wird die Temperatur angezeigt, die momentan im Gefrierraum vorhanden ist (IST-Temperatur).

• Während der Temperatureinstellung wird blinkend die im Moment eingestellte Gefrierraumtemperatur angezeigt (SOLL-Temperatur).

Inbetriebnahme - Temperatur einstellen

1. Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken.

2. Wenn di Temperaturanzeige OFFist drücken die Taste ON/OFF (B) Die grüne Netzkontrollanzeige (A) leuchtet. Die Temperaturanzeige (D) zeigt die momentan im Gefrierraum vorhandene IST-Temper atur an. Die rote W arnanzeige (H) signalisiert blinkend und ein Warnton ist zu hören.

3. Drücken die Taste “I” um das Warnton auszuschalten und die rote Warnanzeige blinkt weiter bis die Erreichung der vorgegebenen Temperatur. Auf eine der Tasten C oder E drücken. Die Temperaturanzeige schaltet um und zeigt blinkend die momentan eingestellte SOLL-Temperatur an.

4. Gewünschte Temperatur durch Drücken der Tasten C und E einstellen (siehe Abschnitt "Tasten zur Temperatur einstellung"). Die T emper atur anzeige zeigt sofort die geänderte Einstellung an. Mit jedem Tastendruck wird die Temperatur um 1 °C weitergestellt.

Aus ernährungswissenschaftlicher Sicht ist -18°C für den Gefrierraum als ausreichend kalte Lagertemperatur anzusehen.

FROSTMATIC-Taste (G)

Die FROSTMATIC-Funktion beschleunigt das Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel und schützt gleichzeitig die bereits eingelagerte Ware vor unerwünschter Erwärmung.

1. Durch Drücken der Taste FROSTMATIC wird die FROSTMATIC-Funktion eingeschaltet. Die gelbe Anzeige leuchtet (F).

Wird die FROSTMATIC-Funktion nicht manuell beendet, schaltet die Elektronik des Gerätes die FROSTMATIC-Funktion nach 52 Stunden ab. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.

2. Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste FROSTMATIC kann die FROSTMATICFunktion jederzeit manuell beendet werden. Die gelbe Anzeige erlischt.

Taste ALARM OFF

Im Falle eines ungewöhnlichen Temperaturanstieges im Gefrierr aum (z.B. bei Stromausfall) blinkt die rote Warnanzeige (H) und ein Warnton ertönt. Der Warnton schaltet automatisch ab, wenn die eingestellte Gefrierraumtemperatur wieder erreicht wird. Die rote Warnanzeige blinkt weiter. Mit der Taste alarm stop können Sie den Warnton und die rote Warnanzeige abschalten. Auf der Temperaturanzeige erscheint für ca. 5 Sekunden die wärmste Temperatur, die im Gefrierraum erreicht wurde.

Um das Warnton auszuschalten, drücken die Taste (I). Achtung: Bei Erwärmung im Gefrierraum muß der Zustand des Gefriergu-

tes überprüft werden.

Gerät abschalten

1. Zum Abschalten die Taste ON/OFF ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten. In der Temperaturanzeige erfolgt ein sogenannter “Count down”, dabei wird rückwärts von “3” nach “1” gezählt. Mit Erreichen der “1” schaltet der Gefrieraum ab. Die Temperaturanzeige erlischt.

Hinweis: Die Einstellung des Geräts kann bei gezogenem Netzstecker oder fehlender

Stromversorgung nicht geändert werden. Nach Anschluß an das Stromnetz nimmt das Gerät wieder den Zustand an, den es bei Netzunterbrechung hatte.

Soll das Gerät für längere Zeit außer Betrieb genommen werden:

1. Gefrierfach abschalten, dazu die TasteON/OFF (B) drücken, bis die Anzeige (A) erlischt .

2. Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdr ehen.

3. Gefrierfach abtauen und Gerät gründlich reinigen (siehe Abschnitt "Reinigung und Pflege").

4. Türe anschließend geöffnet lassen, um Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden.

Einfrieren und Tiefkühllagern

Im Gefrierraum können Sie Tiefkühlkost lagern und frische Lebensmittel einfrieren.

Achtung!

• Vor dem Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln muß die Temperatur im Gefrier-

raum -18 °C oder kälter sein.

• Bitte das auf dem Typschild angegebene Gefriervermögen beachten. Das

Gefriervermögen ist die maximale Menge an frischer Ware, die innerhalb von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann. Wenn Sie an mehreren Tagen hintereinander einfrieren, nehmen Sie bitte nur 2/3 bis 3/4 der auf dem Typschild angegebenen Menge. Sie erreichen eine bessere Qualität, wenn die Lebensmittel schnell bis zum Kern durchgefroren werden.

• Warme Lebensmittel vor dem Einfrieren abkühlen lassen. Die Wärme führt

zu verstärkter Eisbildung und erhöht den Energieverbrauch.

• Auf die Lagerzeit bzw. auf das Haltbarkeitsdatum von gekauften Tiefkühl-

produkten achten

• Einmal aufgetaute Lebensmittel ohne weitere Verarbeitung (gar en zu Fer-

tiggerichten) auf keinen Fall ein zweites Mal einfrieren.

• Behälter mit brennbaren Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten können durch Käl-

teeinwirkung undicht werden. Explosionsgefahr! Lagern Sie keine Behälter mit brennbaren Stoffen, wie z.B. Spraydosen, Feuerzeug-Nachfüllkartuschen etc. im Kältegerät.

• Flaschen und Dosen dürfen nicht in den Gefrierraum. Sie können sprin-

gen, wenn der Inhalt gefriert - bei kohlensäurehaltigem Inhalt sogar explodieren! Legen Sie nie Limonaden, Säfte, Bier, Wein, Sekt usw. in den Gefrierraum. Ausnahme: Hochprozentige Spirituosen können im Gefrierraum gelagert werden.

• Alle Lebensmittel vor dem Einfrieren luftdicht verpacken, damit sie nicht

austrocknen, nicht den Geschmack verlieren und keine Geschmacksübertragung auf anderes Tiefkühlgut erfolgen kann.

Kälteakku

Das Gerät kann mit einem oder meheren Kälteakkus ausgestattet sein. Bei Stromausfall oder einer Störung am Gerät verlängert der Kälteakku die

Zeit bis zur unzulässigen Erwärmung des Gefrierguts um mehrere Stunden. Diese Aufgabe erfüllt der Kälteakku nur dann optimal, wenn er in der ober-

sten Schublade vorne oben auf dem Gefriergut eingelegt wird. Die Kälteakkus können Sie vorübergehend auch als Kühlelement für Kühl-

taschen verwenden.

Ob der obere oder der untere Wert der angegebenen Lagerzeiten gültig ist,

hängt von der Qualität der Lebensmittel und deren Vorbehandlung vor dem Einfrieren ab. Für Lebensmittel mit hohem Fettanteil gilt immer der untere Wert.

Abtauen

Gefrierraum

Das Abtauen des Gefrierraumes erfolgt automatisch.

Eiswürfel bereiten

1. Eiswürfelschale zu 3/4 mit kaltem Wasser füllen, in den Gefrierraum stellen und gefrieren lassen.

2. Zum Herauslösen der fertigen Eiswürfel die Eiswürfelschale verwinden oder kurz unter fließendes Wasser halten.

Achtung! Eine eventuell angefrorene Eiswürfelschale keinesfalls mit spitzen oder scharfkantigen Gegenständen ablösen, sonst besteht die Gefahr, daß der Kältekreislauf beschädigt wird. Verwenden Sie den beiliegenden Kunststoffschaber.

Vorsicht! Tiefkühlgut nicht mit nassen Händen berühren. Die Hände könnten daran festfrieren.

1. Die verpackten Lebensmittel in die oberen Schubladen legen. Nicht gefrorene Ware darf bereits gefrorene Ware nicht berühren, die gefrorene Ware kann sonst antauen.

2. Tiefkühlgut möglichst nach Art getrennt in die Schubladen legen.

Reinigung und Pflege

Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte das Geräteinnere, einschließlich Innenausstattung, regelmäßig gereinigt werden.

Warnung!

• Das Gerät darf während der Reinigung nicht am Stromnetz angeschlos-

sen sein. Stromschlaggefahr! Vor Reinigungsarbeiten Gerät abschalten und Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.

• Das Gerät nie mit Dampfreinigungsgeräten reinigen. Feuchtigkeit könnte

in elektrische Bauteile gelangen, Stromschlaggefahr! Heißer Dampf kann zu Schäden an Kunststoffteilen führen.

• Das Gerät muß trocken sein, bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Achtung!

• Ätherische Öle und organische Lösungsmittel können Kunststoffteile

angreifen, z. B. – Saft von Zitronen- oder Apfelsinenschalen; – Buttersäure; – Reinigungsmittel, die Essigsäure enthalten. Solche Substanzen nicht mit den Geräteteilen in Kontakt bringen.

• Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

1. Tiefkühlgut herausnehmen. Tiefkühlgut in mehrere Lagen Zeitungspapier einpacken. Alles abgedeckt an einem kühlen Ort lagern.

2. Gerät einschließlich Innenausstattung mit einem Lappen und lauwarmem Wasser reinigen. Eventuell etwas handelsübliches Geschirrspülmittel beigeben.

3. Anschließend mit klarem Wasser nachwischen und trockenreiben. Staubablagerungen am Verflüssiger erhöhen den Energieverbrauch. Deshalb

einmal im Jahr den Verflüssiger an der Geräterückseite mit einer weichen Bürste oder mit dem Staubsauger vorsichtig reinigen.

4. Nachdem alles trocken ist, Lebensmittel wieder einlagern und Gerät wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Gerät abschalten

Soll das Gerät für längere Zeit außer Betrieb genommen werden:

1. Gefriergut sowie Eisschalen herausnehmen.

2. Gerät abschalten, dazu ON/OFFTaste drücken, bis die grüne Netzkontrollanzeige erlischt.

3. Netzstecker ziehen oder Sicherung abschalten bzw. herausdrehen.

4. Gerät gründlich reinigen (siehe Abschnitt "Reinigung und Pflege").

5. Tür anschließend geöffnet lassen, um Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden.

Störung Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe

Was tun, wenn ...

Abhilfe bei Störungen

Möglicherweise handelt es sich bei einer Störung nur um einen kleinen Fehler, den Sie anhand nachfolgender Hinweise selbst beheben können. Führ en Sie keine weiteren Arbeiten selbst aus, wenn nachstehende Informationen im konkreten Fall nicht weiterhelfen.

Warnung! Reparaturen am Kältegerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall an Ihren Fachhändler oder an unseren Kundendienst.

Tips zur Energie-Einsparung

• Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Herden, Heizkörpern oder anderen Wär-

mequellen aufstellen. Bei hoher Umgebungstemperatur läuft der Kompressor häufiger und länger.

• Ausreichende Be- und Entlüftung des Gerätes gewährleisten. Lüf-tung-

söffnungen niemals abdecken.

• Keine warmen Speisen in das Gerät stellen. Warme Speisen erst abkühlen

lassen.

• Tür nur so lange wie nötig geöffnet lassen.

• Die Temperatur nicht kälter als nötig einstellen.

• Den Verflüssiger, das Metallgitter an der Geräterückseite, immer sauber

halten.

Der Kompressor läuft nach einiger Zeit selbsttätig an.

Dies ist normal, es liegt keine Störung vor.

Nach Änderung der Temperatureinstellung läuf der Kompressor nicht sofort an.

Ungewöhnliche Geräusche.

Gerät hat Kontakt mit der Wand oder mit anderen Gegenständen.

Gerät steht nicht gerade.

Ein Teil, z. B. ein Rohr, an der Geräterückseite berührt ein anderes Geräteteil oder die Wand.

Gegebenenfalls dieses Teil vorsichtig wegbiegen.

Gerät etwas wegrücken.

Verstellfüße nachjustieren.

Starke Reifbildung im Gerät, evtl. auch an der Türdichtung.

Türdichtung ist undicht (evtl. nach Türanschlag-wechsel).

An den undichten Stellen Türdichtung vorsichtig mit einem Haartrockner erwärmen (nicht wärmer als ca. 50 °C). Gleichzeitig die erwärmte Türdichtung von Hand so in Form ziehen, daß sie wieder einwandfrei anliegt.

Störung am Gerät

Bestimmungen, Normen, Richtlinien

Das Kältegerät ist für den Haushalt bestimmt und wurde unter Beachtung der für diese Geräte geltenden Normen hergestellt.

Bei der Fertigung wurden insbesondere die nach dem Gerätesicherheitsgesetz (GSG), der Unfallverhütungsvorschrift für Kälteanlagen (VBG 20) und den Bestimmungen des Verbandes Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE) notwendigen Maßnahmen getroffen. Der Kältekreislauf wurde auf Dichtheit geprüft.

Dieses Gerät entspricht den folgenden EG-Richtlinien: – 73/23/EWG vom 19.2.1973 - Niederspannungsrichtlinie – 89/336/EWG vom 3.5.1989 (einschließlich Änderungsrichtlinie

Geachte klant,

Lees eerst aandachtig de gebruiksaanwijzing door voordat u uw nieuwe koelapparaat in gebruik neemt. Hierin staat belangrijke informatie over een veilig gebruik, over het opstellen en over het onderhoud van het apparaat.

De gebruiksaanwijzing s.v.p. bewar en voor later e naslag. Aan eventuele volgende bezitters van het apparaat doorgeven.

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing is voor meerdere, technisch vergelijkbar e modellen in diverse uitvoeringen bestemd. S.v.p. alleen op de aanwijzingen letten die op Uw apparaat betrekking hebben.

Met de waarschuwingsdriehoek en/of door signaalwoorden (Waar- schuwing!, Voorzichtig!, Let op!) wordt de aandacht gevestigd op aanwijzingen die belangrijk zijn voor uw veiligheid of voor het juist functioneren van het apparaat. Hier absoluut op letten.

Na dit symbool wordt uitleg gegeven over de bediening en het prak-tisch gebruik van het apparaat.

Met het klaverblad worden tips en aanwijzingen voor een econo-mischen milieuvriendelijk gebruik van het apparaat aangegeven.

Voor eventueel optredende storingen staan in de handleiding aanwijzingen om deze zelf op te lossen, zie Hoofdstuk "Wat te doen als...". Als deze aanwijzingen niet voldoende informatie bieden staat onze klantendienst u te allen tijde ter beschikking.

Veiligheid

De veiligheid van onze koelapparaten voldoet aan de Europese en Nederlandse normen. Desondanks zien wij ons genoodzaakt u met de volgende veiligheidsaanwijzingen vertrouwd te maken:

Reglementaire toepassing

• Het koelapparaat is voor huishoudelijk gebruik bestemd. Het is geschikt voor het invriezen en diepgevroren bewaren van levensmiddelen en voor het maken van ijs. Als het apparaat voor andere doeleinden gebruikt wordt kan de fabrikant geen verantwoording nemen voor eventuele schaden.

• Het ombouwen van of veranderingen aan het koelapparaat aanbrengen is uit veiligheidsoverwegingen niet toegestaan.

• Als het koelapparaat commercieel of voor andere doeleinden dan voor diepgevroren bewaren en invriezen van levensmiddelen gebruikt wordt, s.v.p. letten op de hiervoor van kracht zijnde wettelijke bepalingen.

Voordat het apparaat voor de eerste keer in gebruik genomen wordt

• Controleer het koelapparaat op transportschaden. Een beschadigd apparaat in geen geval aansluiten! Wend u in geval van schade tot de leverancier .

Koelmiddelen

Het apparaat bevat in het koelvloeistofcircuit de koelvloeistof Isobutan (R600a), een natuurlijk, zeer milieuvriendelijk gas, dat echter wel brandbaar is.

• Bij het transport en het opstellen van het apparaat erop letten dat geen onderdelen van het koelvloeistofcircuit beschadigd worden.

• Bij beschadiging van het koelvloeistofcircuit:

– open vuur en brandhaarden absoluut vermijden; – het vertrek waar het apparaat staat goed ventileren.

Veiligheid van kinderen

• Verpakkingsdelen (bijv. foliën, piepschuim) kunnen voor kinderen gevaarlijk zijn. Stikgevaar! Verpakkingsmateriaal van kinderen weghouden!

• Oude apparaten voor het weggooien onbruikbaar maken. Stekker uit het stopcontact trekken, stroomkabel doorknippen, eventueel aanwezige

snap– of grendelsloten verwijderen of kapotmaken. Daardoor wordt voorkomen dat spelende kinderen in het apparaat opgesloten raken (stikgevaar!) of in andere levensgevaarlijke situaties terecht komen.

• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door kinderen, personen met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuigelijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of een gebrek aan kennis en ervaring, tenzij er toezicht is ingesteld door de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of tenzij zij van deze persoon instructies hebben gekregen over het gebruik. Laat kinderen niet zonder toezicht in de buurt van het apparaat.

Bij dagelijks gebruik

• Containers met brandbare gassen of vloeistoffen kunnen lek r aken door de inwerking van koude. Explosiegevaar! Leg geen containers met brandbare stoffen zoals bijv. spr aybussen, aanstekers, navullin-gen van aanstekers etc. in het koelapparaat.

• Flessen en blikken mogen niet in het vriesvak. Ze kunnen springen als de inhoud bevriest – bij koolzuurhoudende inhoud zelfs exploderen! Leg noit limonades, sappen, bier, wijn, champagne etc. in het vriesvak. Uitzondering: sterke drank met een zeer hoog alcohol percentage kan in het vriesvak gelegd worden.

• Consumptie-ijs en ijsblokjes niet direct vanuit de vriesruimte in de mond steken. Zeer koud ijs kan aan de lippen of de tong vastvriezen en verwondingen veroorzaken.

• Niet met natte handen aan diepvriesartikelen komen. De handen kunnen daaraan vastvriezen.

• Geen elektrische apparaten (bijv . elektrische ijsmachines, mixers etc.) in het koelapparaat gebruiken.

• Voor het schoonmaken het apparaat altijd uitzetten en de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken of de zekering in de woning uitschakelen c.q. er uit draaien.

• De stekker altijd aan de stekker zelf uit het stopcontact trekken, nooit aan het snoer.

Bij storing

• Als er een storing aan het apparaat optreedt eerst in de gebruiks-aanwijzing kijken onder “Wat te doen als ...”. Als de daar gegeven aanwijzingen niet verder helpen zelf niet verder aan het apparaat werken.

• Koelapparaten mogen alleen dooor geschoold personeel ger epar eer d worden. Door ondeskundige reparaties kunnen grote gevar en ont-staan. Wend u zich bij reparaties tot uw vakhandel of tot onze klantendienst.

Weggooien

Informatie over de verpakking van het apparaat

Alle gebruikte grondstoffen zijn milieuvriendelijk! Ze kunnen zonder gevaar weggegooid of in de vuilverbrandingsoven verbrand worden!

De grondstoffen: de kunststoffen kunnen ook opnieuw gebruikt worden en worden als volgt gekarakteriseerd:

>PE< voor polyethyleen, bijv. bij de buitenste verpakking en de zakken binnenin.

>PS< voor schuimpolystyrol, bijv . bij de bekledingsdelen, in principe FCKWvrij.

De kartonnen delen zijn van oud papier gemaakt en kunnen ook weer bij het oud-papier gedaan worden.

Weggooien van oude apparaten

Wegens milieuredenen dienen koelapparaten vakkundig ontmanteld te worden. Dit geldt voor uw huidige apparaat en - als het ook aan vervanging toe is - ook voor uw nieuwe apparaat.

Waarschuwing! Apparaten die hun tijd gehad hebben onbruikbaar maken voordat ze weggegooid worden. Stekker er afhalen, netsnoer doorknippen, eventuele snap- of grendelsloten verwijderen of kapot-maken. Hierdoor wordt voorkomen dat spelende kinderen in het apparaat opgesloten worden (verstikkingsgevaar!) of in andere levensgevaarlijke situaties terechtkomen.

Aanwijzingen voor het weggooien:

• Het apparaat mag niet bij het huis- of grofvuil gezet worden.

• Het koelvloeistofcircuit, in het bijzonder de warmtewisselaar aan de achterkant, mag niet beschadigd worden.

• Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag worden behandeld, maar moet worden afgegeven bij een verzamelpunt waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zor gt dat dit product op de juiste manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijk negatieve gevolgen voor mens en milieu die zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalverwerking. Voor gedetailleerdere informatie over het recyclen van dit product, kunt u contact opnemen met de gemeente, de gemeentereiniging of de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht.

Transportbescherming verwijderen

Het apparaat alsmede de onderdelen van het interieur zijn voor het transport beschermd.

• Alle plakband alsmede bekledingsdelen uit het interieur verwijderen.

Opstellen

Opstelplaats

Het apparaat in een goed geventileerde en droge ruimte neerzetten. De omgevingstemperatuur heeft invloed op het stroomverbruik. Het apparaat daarom – niet aan directe straling van de zon blootstellen; – niet bij radiatoren, naast een kachel of andere warmtebronnen plaatsen; – alleen op een plaats neerzetten waarvan de omgevingstemperatuur ove-

reenkomt met de klimaatcategorie waarvoor het apparaat is ont-worpen.

De klimaatcategorieën staan op het merk- en type-aanduidingsplaatje dat zich links aan de binnenkant van het apparaat bevindt.

De volgende tabel geeft aan welke omgevingstemperatuur bij welke klimaatcategorie behoort:

Als het onvermijdelijk is het apparaat naast een warmtebron te plaat-sen, aan weerszijden minimaal de volgende afstanden aanhouden:

– tot elektrische kachels 3 cm; – tot olie- en kolenkachels 30 cm.

Als men zich niet aan deze afstanden kan houden, is een warmte-isolatieplaat tussen kachel en koelapparaat aan te bevelen. Als het koelapparaat naast een ander koel- of diepvriesapparaat staat, is een afstand van 5 cm aan weerszijden aan te bevelen, zodat zich geen condens vormt aan de buitenkant van de apparaten. "Montage rechtstreeks onder een kookplaat is niet toegestaan. De temperaturen van de kookplaat, die op sommige plaatsen hoog zijn, kunnen het apparaat beschadigen. Indien een kookplaat in de buurt van het apparaat geïnstalleerd wordt, dienen de betreffende montage- en veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht genomen te worden. Gezien de veelzijdigheid van de mogelijke installatievoorwaarden is het onmogelijk hier gedetailleerde informatie te verschaffen.

Men dient te voorkomen dat de ijskast warm wordt, door een geschikte afstand van de warmtebron aan te houden en door middel van het gebruik van een geschikte isolatieplaat. Bovendien dient een correcte ventilatie van het apparaat gegarandeerd te worden."

Elektrische aansluiting

Voor de elektrische aansluiting is een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerde beschermcontactdoos vereist.

De contactdoos moet zodanig worden geïnstalleerd, dat de steker altijd uit de contactdoos kan worden getrokken.

De elektrische zekering dient minstens 10 Ampère te zijn. Indien het stopcontact bij een ingebouwd apparaat niet meer toegan-kelijk

is, dient een maatregel in de elektrische installatie er voor te zorgen dat het apparaat van de stroom kan worden afgesloten (bijv. zekering, beveiligingsschakelaar, aardlekschakelaar of dergelijke met een contactopeningsbreedte van minimaal 3 mm).

• Voor ingebruikneming op het merk– en type–aanduidingsplaatje van het apparaat controleren of de netspanning en stroomsoort over-eenkomen met de waarden van het lichtnet op de plaats waar het apparaat komt te staan.

Bijv.: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz of

230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (d.w.z. 230 tot 240 Volt wisselstroom, 50 Hertz) Het typeplaatje bevindt zich links aan de binnenkant van het apparaat.

Voor ingebruikname

• Het interieur van het apparaat en alle accessoires schoonmaken voor het

eerste gebruik (zie Hoofdstuk “Reiniging en Onderhoud”).

Bedienings- en kontroleinrichting

Toetsen voor temperatuurinstelling

De temperatuur wordt ingesteld via de toetsen „C“ en „E“ De toetsen staan in verbinding met de temperatuurindicatie.

• Door te drukken op één van de twee toetsen „C“ of „E“ wordt de temperatuurindicatie van de WERKELIJKE temperatuur (temperatuurindicatie brandt) op de GEWENSTE temperatuur (temperatuurindicatie knippert) omgeschakeld.

• Met elke verdere druk op één van beide toetsen wordt de GEWENSTE temperatuur 1 °C verder gesteld. De GEWENSTE temperatur dient binnen 24 uur te worden bereikt.

Als geen toets wordt ingedrukt, schakelt de temperatuurindicatie na korte tijd (ca. 5 sec.) automatisch weer op de WERKELIJKE temperatuur terug.

GEWENSTE temperatuur betekent:

De temperatuur die in de diepvriezer moet heersen. De GEWENSTE temperatuur wordt met knipperende cijfers aangegeven.

WERKELIJKE temperatuur betekent:

De temperatuurindicatie geeft de temperatuur aan die op dat moment werkelijk in de diepvriezer heerst. De WERKELIJKE temperatuur wordt met brandende cijfers aangegeven.

Temperatuurindicatie

De temperatuurindicatie kan meerdere soorten informatie aangeven.

• Bij normaal gebruik wordt de temperatuur aangegeven die op dat moment in de diepvriezer heerst (WERKELIJKE temperatuur).

• Tijdens de temperatuurinstelling wordt knipperend de op dat moment ingestelde diepvriezer temperatuur aangegeven (GEWENSTE temperatuur).

In gebruik nemen - temperatuur instellen

1. Stekker in stopcontact steken.

2. Toets Vriezer ON/OFF indrukken. Het groene lichtnetlampje gaat branden. HEt alarmcontrolelampje (O) knippert zodra de ingestelde temperatuur bereikt worden. Het geluidsalarm wordt ingeschakeld.

3. Druk op de toetsen „C” of „E“ De temperatuurindicatie schakelt om en geeft knipperend de op dat moment ingestelde GEWENSTE temperatuur aan.

4. Gewenste temperatuur door indrukken van de toetsen „C“ en „E“ instellen (zie hoofdstuk "Toetsen voor temperatuurinstelling"). De temperatuurindicatie geeft direct de gewijzigde instelling aan. Met elke druk op de toets wordt de temperatuur 1 °C hoger ingesteld.

Uit voedingswetenschappelijk standpunt is -18 °C voor de diepvriezer koud genoeg als bewaartemperatuur.

5. Het geluidsalarm wordt uitgeschakeld zodra de ingestelde temperatuur bereikt worden. Druk op de alarmtoers om het alarmcontrolelampje uit te schakelen.

Koude-accu

In één van de laden van de vriesruimte bevindt zich twee koude-accus. Als de stroom uitvalt of bij een storing aan het apparaat verlengt de kou-

de-accu de tijd tot de diepvriesartikelen te warm worden met meerdere uren. De koude-accu kan dit echter alleen optimaal doen als ze in de bovenste la vooraan boven op de diepvriesartikelen gelegd wordt. De koude-accu kan tijdelijk ook als koelelement voor koeltassen gebruikt worden.

FROSTMATIC

De FROSTMATIC-functie versnelt het invriezen van verse levensmiddelen en beschermt tegelijkertijd de reeds ingevroren waren tegen ongewenste verwarming.

1. Door te drukken op de FROSTMATIC toets wordt de FROSTMATIC-functie ingeschakeld. Het gele lampje gaat branden.

Als de FROSTMATIC-functie niet handmatig beëindigd wordt, schakelt de

elektronica van het apparaat de FROSTMATIC-functie na 52 uur uit. Het gele lampje gaat uit.

2. Door opnieuw op de FROSTMATIC toets te drukken kan de FROSTMATICfunctie te allen tijde handmatig beëindigd worden. Het gele lampje gaat uit.

Toets om het alarm uit te schakelen

Een abnormale verhoging van de temperatuur in de diepvries (bijv. uitvallen van de elektriciteit) wordt aangeduid door het knipperen van het controlelampje (H) en door een geluidsignaal.

Wanneer de normale omstandigheden hersteld worden, gaat het geluidsalarm uit, terwijl het alarmcontrolelampje blijft knipperen.

Door op alarmtoets (I) te drukken, verschijnt op de aanduiding (D) gedurende enkele seconden de hoogste temperatuur die in de diepvriezer ontstaan is. (approx. 5 seconden).

Apparaat uitschakelen

Om uit te schakelen toets ON/OFF ca. 3 seconden ingedrukt houden. In de temperatuurindicatie begint een "count down", daarbij wordt van "3" naar "1" teruggeteld. Bij bereiken van "1" schakelt de koelruimte uit. De temperatuurindicatie gaat uit.

Aanwijzing:

De instelling van het apparaat kan niet veranderd wor den, als de stekker uit het stopcontact getrokken is of als er anderszins geen elektriciteit aanwezig is. Na aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet start het apparaat weer op de stand waar het voor de stroomonderbreking op stond.

Als het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt:

1. Apparaat uitschakelen door toets ON/OFF in te drukken tot de indicatie uitgaat (zie boven).

2. Stekker uit het stopcontact halen of zekering uitschakelen, er resp. uithalen.

3. Vriesvak ontdooien en apparaat grondig reinigen (zie hoofdstuk "Reiniging en onderhoud").

4. Daarna de deuren open laten staan om reukvorming te voorkomen.

Invriezenen en diepgevroren opslaan

In uw diepvrieskast kunt u diepvriesprodukten bewaren en verse levensmiddelen zelf invriezen.

Attentie!

• Voor het invriezen van levensmiddelen dient de temperatuur in de vrie-

sruimte –18 °C of lager te zijn.

• Let op het op het typebordje aangegeven vriesvermogen. Het vries-ver-

mogen is de maximale hoeveelheid verse waren die binnen 24 uur ingevroren kunnen worden. Als er gedurende meerdere dagen achter elkaar ingevroren wordt, neem dan slechts 2/3 tot 3/4 van de hoeveelheid aangegeven op het typebordje. De kwaliteit is beter, als de levensmiddelen snel tot in de kern bevriezen.

• Warme levensmiddelen voor het invriezen laten afkoelen. De warmte leidt

tot verhoogde ijsvorming en verhoogt het energieverbruik.

• Bij het bewaren van kantenklare diepvriesprodukten dient u zich beslist

aan de door de fabrikant opgegeven bewaartijd te houden.

• Eenmaal ontdooide levensmiddelen zonder verdere verwerking (bereiden

tot panklare gerechten) in geen geval een tweede keer invriezen.

• Containers met brandbare gassen of vloeistoffen kunnen lek raken door

de inwerking van koude. Explosiegevaar! Leg geen containers met brandbare stoffen zoals bijv. spraybussen, aanstekers, navullin-gen van aanstekers etc. in het vriesapparaat.

• Flessen en blikken mogen niet in de vriesruimte. Ze kunnen springen als

de inhoud bevriest – bij koolzuurhoudende inhoud zelfs exploderen! Leg noot limonades, sappen, bier, wijn, champagne etc. in de vriesruimte. Uitzondering: sterke drank met een zeer hoog alcohol percentage kan in de vriesruimte gelegd worden.

• Als u de maximale invrieskapaciteit wilt benutten, moet u 24 uur van te

voren (bij kleinere hoeveelheden 4 tot 6 uur) de snelinvriesschakelaar inschakelen.

Voorzichtig! Diepvriesartikelen niet met natte handen aanraken. De handen kunnen daaraan vast vriezen.

1. De verpakte levensmiddelen in de laden leggen. De in te vriezen levensmiddelen in de korven. Niet bevroren artikelen mogen niet in aanraking komen met reeds bevroren waren omdat anders de bevroren artikelen ontdooien kunnen.

Symbolen bewaarde producten/Diepvrieskalender

• De symbolen op de laden geven de diverse soorten diepvriesproducten

aan.

• De getallen geven voor iedere

soort diepvriesproduct de opslagtijd in maanden aan. Of de hoogste of de laagste waarde van de aangegeven opslagtijd geldt, hangt af van de kwaliteit van de levens-middelen en de behandeling voorafgaand aan het invriezen. Voor levensmiddelen met een hoog vetgehalte geldt altijd de laagste waarde.

Het maken van ijsblokjes

1. IJsbakje voor 3/4 met koud water vullen, in de vriesruimte plaatsen en laten bevriezen.

2. Om de ijsblokjes los te maken het ijsbakje omdraaien of kort onder stromend water houden.

Attentie! Een eventueel vastgevroren ijsbakje in geen geval met spitse of scherpe voorwerpen losmaken. Gebruik de bijgevoegde ijsschraper.

Ontdooien van het apparaat

Vriesruimte

De ontdooiing van de vriesruimte heeft automatisch plaats.

2. Wilt U de max. hoeveelheid invriezen,dan dient u de snelvriesschakelaar in te schakelen.

3. Diepvriesartikelen het liefst naar soort apart in de laden leggen.

Reiniging en onderhoud

Om hygiënische redenen dient het apparaat aan de binnenkant met toebehoren geregeld gereinigd te worden.

Waarschuwing!

• Het apparaat mag tijdens het schoonmaken niet op het elektriciteitsnet aangesloten zijn. Gevaar voor schokken! Zet voor het schoonmaken het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact of schakel de zekering uit.

• Het apparaat nooit met stoomreinigingsapparaten schoonmaken. Er kan vocht in de elektrische onderdelen komen. Gevaar voor schokken! Hete damp kan kunstof onderdelen beschadigen.

• Het apparaat dient droog te zijn voordat het weer in gebruik genomen wordt.

Let op!

• Etherische oliën en organische oplosmiddelen kunnen kunststof onderdelen aantasten, bijv.

– Sap van citroen– of sinaasappelschillen; – boterzuur; – schoonmaakmiddelen die azijnzuren bevatten. Dergelijke substanties niet in contact brengen met apparaatonderdelen.

• Geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen gebruiken.

1. Koel– en diepvriesartikelen er uit halen. Diepvriesartikelen in meerdere lagen kranten verpakken. Alles afgedekt op een koele plaats leggen.

2. Vriesvak voor het schoonmaken ontdooien (zie hoofdstuk “Ontdooien”).

3. Apparaat uitzetten en de stekker uit het stopcontact halen of de zekering in de huisinstallaieuitschakelen.

4. Apparaat en interieur met een doek en lauwwarm water schoonmaken. Eventueel een beetje normaal afwasmiddel gebruiken.

5. Daarna met schoon water afnemen en droogmaken. Stof op de condensor verhoogt het energieverbruik. Daarom eenmaal per

jaar de condensor aan de achterkant van het apparaat met een zachte borstel of met de stofzuiger voorzichtig schoonmaken.

6. Het dooiwaterafvoergat aan de achterwand van de koelruimte controleren. Een verstopt dooiwaterafvoergat met behulp van het gr oene stopje dat met het apparaat is meegeleverd schoonmaken.

Apparaat uitzetten

Als het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt:

1. Levensmiddelen uit vriesruimte nemen.

2. Apparaat uitzetten.

3. Stekker uit het stopcontact halen of zekering uitschakelen, er resp. uithalen.

4. Diepvriesruimte ontdooien en grondig reinigen (zie hoofdstuk “Ontdooien en reinigen”).

5. Deuren daarna open laten om geurvorming te voorkomen.

Tips om energie te besparen

• Het apparaat niet in de buurt van kachels, verwarmingselementen of

andere warmtebronnen plaatsen. Bij een hoge omgevingstempera-tuur werkt de compressor vaker en langer.

• Zorgen voor voldoende be- en ontluchting aan de onderkant van het

apparaat. Ventilatieopeningen nooit afdekken.

• Geen warme spijzen in het apparaat zetten. Warme spijzen eerst laten

afkoelen.

• Deur slechts zo lang open laten als nodig is.

• De temperatuur niet lager dan nodig instellen.

• Kontroleer de bewaartemperatuur met behulp van de thermometer.

• Diepvriesartikelen voor het ontdooien in de koelkast leggen. De koude in

de diepvriesartikelen wordt zo voor koeling van de koelkast gebruikt.

• Houd de warmte afgevende verdamper, het metalen rooster aan de ach-

terzijde van het toestel, schoon.

Wat te doen als ...

Hulp bij storingen

Het kan bij een storing om kleine defecten gaan die kunt oplossen zelf aan de hand van de volgende aanwijzingen. Voer zelf geen verdere werkzaamheden uit als de volgende informatie in concrete gevallen niet verder helpt.

Waarschuwing! Reparaties aan het koelapparaat mogen alleen door geschoold personeel uitgevoerd worden. Door ondeskundige r eparaties kunnen grote gevaren ontstaan voor de gebruiker . Wend u bij r eparatie tot onze klantendienst.

Apparaat koelt te sterk.

Temperatuur is te laag ingesteld.

Tenmperatuurregelaar tijdelijk op een hogere stand zetten.

De temperatuur in de vriesruimte is niet voldoende, rode lampje brandt.

Temperatuur is niet juist ingesteld.

Zie hoofdstuk “Ingebruikname”.

Deur heeft te lang opengestaan.

Deur slechts zo lang open laten als nodig is. Snelvriesschakelaar gebruiken.

In de laatste 24 uur zijn grotere hoeveelheden warme levensmiddelen opgeslagen.

Het apparaat staat naast een warmtebron.

Zie hoofdstuk “Opstelplaats”.

Storing aan het apparaat

Snelvriesschakelaar aanzetten, vrieskast gesloten houden, klantendienst informeren.

Sterke rijpvorming in het apparaat, eventueel ook aan de deurafdichting.

Deurafdichting is lek (eventueel na het verwisselen van de deuraanslag).

Op de ondichte plaatsen de deurafdichting voorzichtig met een föhn verwarmen (niet heter dan ca. 50 °C). Tegelijkertijd de verwarmde deurafdichting met de hand zo in vorm trekken dat hij weer helemaal sluit.

Een onderdeel, bijv. een leiding, aan de achterkant van het apparaat komt tegen een ander onderdeel van het apparaat aan of tegen de muur.

Dit onderdeel voorzichtig wegbuigen.

Apparaat iets wegtrekken.

Doel, normen, richtlijnen

Het koelapparaat is voor huishoudelijk gebruik bestemd en is met in-achtneming van de voor deze apparaten geldende normen gemaakt. Bij de fabricage zijn speciaal die maatregelen genomen die vereist zijn volgens de Duitse wet op de veiligheid van toestellen (GSG), volgens de Duitse voorschriften ter voorkoming van ongevallen bij koudeinstallaties (VBG 20) en volgens de bepalingen van de ver-eniging van Duitse elektotechnici (VDE). De koudecirculatie is op dichtheid getest.

Safety

The safety aspects of our refrigerators/freezers comply with accepted technical standards and the German Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless, we consider it our obligation to make you aware of the following safety information:

Intended use

• The refrigerator is intended for use in the home. It is suitable for the cooling, freezing and storing of frozen food, as well as for making ice. If the appliance is used for purposes other than those intended or used incorrectly, no liability can be accepted by the manufacturer for any damage that may be caused.

• Alterations or changes to the freezer are not permitted for reasons of safety.

• If you use the refrigerator in a commercial application or forpurposes other than the cooling, freezing or frozen storage of foods,please observe all valid legal regulations for your application.

Prior to initial start–up

• Check the refrigerator for transport damage. Under no circumstance

should a damaged appliance be plugged in! In the event of damage, please contact the vendor.

Refrigerant

The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refriger ant cir cuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.

• During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

• If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ignition; – thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.

Safety of children

• Packaging (e.g. wraps, polystyr ene) can be dangerous for childr en. There is a risk of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from children!

• Please make old appliances unusable prior to disposal. Pull out the mains plug, cut off the mains cable, break or remove spring or boltcatches, if fitted. By doing this you ensure that children cannot lock themselves in the

fridge when playing (there is risk of suffocation!)or get themselves into other dangerous situations.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety . Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Daily Operation

• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures. There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flammable materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.

• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer compartment. They can burst when the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode! Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the freezer compartment. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be stored in the freezer compartment.

• Do not put ice creams or ice cubes in the mouth immediately after removal from the freezer compartment. Very cold ice can freeze to the lips or tongue and cause injury.

• Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could fr eeze to the food.

• Do not operate any electrical appliances in the refrigerator/freezer (e.g. electric ice cream makers, mixers etc.).

• Before cleaning the appliance, always switch off the appliance and unplug it, or pull the house fuse or switch off the circuit breaker.

• When unplugging always pull the plug from the mains socket, do not pull on the cable.

In case of malfunction

• If the a malfunction occurs on the appliance, please look first in the "What to do if ..." section of these instructions. If the information given there does not help, please do not perform any further repairs yourself.

• Refrigerators/freezer s may only be r epair ed by qualified service engineer s. Improper repairs can give rise to significant hazards. If your appliance needs repairing, please contact your specialist dealer or our Customer Service.

Disposal

Appliance Packaging Information

All materials are environmentally sound! They can be dumped or burned at an incinerating plant without danger!

About the materials: The plastics can be recycled and are identified as follows:

>PE< for polyethylene, e.g. the outer covering and the bags in the interior. >PS< for polystyrene foam, e.g. the pads, which are all free of chlorofluo-

rocarbon. The carton parts are made from recycled paper and should be disposed of

at a waste-paper recycling collection location.

Disposal of old Appliances

For environmental reasons, refrigeration appliances must be disposed of properly. This applies to your old appliance, and - at the end of its service life - for your new appliance as well.

Warning! Before disposing of old appliances make them inoperable. Remove plug from mains, sever the power cable, remove or destroy any snap or latch closures. This eliminates the danger that playing children lock themselves into the appliance (danger of suffocation!) or place themselves into other life-endangering situations.

Disposal:

• The appliance may not be disposed of with domestic waste or bulky refuse.

• The refrigerant circuit, especially the heat exchanger at the back of the appliance, may not be damaged.

• The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

Remove transport safeguard

The appliance and the interior fittings are protected for transport.

• Pull off the adhesive tape on the left and right side of the door.

• Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces from the interior of the appliance.

If installation next to a source of heat is unavoidable, the following minimum clearances must be maintained at the sides of the appliance:

– for electric cookers 3 cm; – for oil and coal fired ranges 30 cm. If these clearances cannot be maintained a heat insulating pad is required

between the cooker and the refrigeration appliance. If the refrigeration appliance is installed next to another refriger ator or free-

zer a clearance of 5 cm at the sides is required, in order to prevent the formation of condensation on the outside of the appliance.

"Installation directly under a hob is not allowed. The temperatures of the hob, which in part are quite high, may damage the appliance.

If a hob is installed near the appliance, the corresponding installation and safety instructions must be adhered to. Considering the numerous installation conditions which are possible, there is no way of providing detailed information here.

It is necessary to avoid overheating of the refrigerator by maintaining adequate distances from heat sources and by the use of a suitable thermal insulation plate. Proper ventilation of the appliance must also be ensured."

Installation

Installation Location

The appliance should be set up in a well ventilated, dry room. Energy use is affected by the ambient temperature. The appliance should therefore – not be exposed to direct sunlight; – not be installed next to radiators, cookers or other sources of heat; – only be installed at a location whose ambient temperature corresponds to

the climate classification, for which the appliance is designed.

The climate classification can be found on the serial plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.

The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each climate classification: each climate classification:

• Please clean the appliance interior and all accessories prior to initial startup (see section: “Cleaning and Care”).

Electrical connection

Before initial start-up, refer to the appliance rating plate to ascertain if supply voltage and current values correspond with those of the mains at the installation location.

230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (i.e. 230 to 240 volts alternating current, 50 Hertz) The rating plate is inside the appliance on the left. A correctly installed, earthed socket is required for the electrical supply. The

supply must have a fuse rating of at least 10 Amps. If the socket is not accessible once the appliance is built in, the electrical

installation must include suitable means of isolating the appliance from the mains (e.g. fuse, cut-out, current trip or similar with a minimum contact separation of 3 mm).

Attention: The mains connection cable may only be replaced by a skilled electrician. Please contact your dealer or our customer service department for repairs.

Temperature setting buttons

The temperature is adjusted using the „C“ and „E“ buttons. These buttons are connected to the temperature display.

• The temperature display is switched over from the display of the ACTUAL temperature (Temper ature display is illuminated) to the display of the DESIRED temperature (Temperature display flashes) by pressing one of the two buttons, „C“ or „E“.

• Each time one of the two buttons is pressed again the DESIRED temperature is adjusted by 1 °C. The DESIRED temperature must be r eached within 24 hours.

If neither button is pressed, the temperature display automatically switches back after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) to the display of the ACTUAL temperature.

DESIRED temperature means:

The temperature that has been selected for inside the freezer. The DESIRED temperature is indicated by flashing numbers.

ACTUAL temperature means:

The temperature display indicates the current temperature inside the freezer . The ACTUAL temperature is indicated with illuminated numbers.

Temperature display

The temperature display can indicate several pieces of information.

• During normal operation, the temperature currently present in the freezer (ACTUAL temperature) is displayed.

• When the temperature is being adjusted a flashing display indicates the freezer temperature currently set (DESIRED temperature).

Starting Up - Setting the Temperature

1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket.

2. If the display is OFF, press ON/OFF button. The green mains pilot indicator illuminates. The alarm light flashes and the buzzer sounds.

3. Press the “I” button to stop the buzzer, the light still flashes since the temperatur is reached.

4. Press either the „C“ or „E“ button. The temperature display switches over and the DESIRED temperature currently set flashes on the temperature display.

5. Set the required temperature by pr essing the „C“ or „E“ buttons (see section "Temperature setting buttons"). The temperature display will immediately show the changed setting. Each time the button is pressed the temperature is adjusted by 1 °C.

From a food safety point of view -18 °C should be considered sufficiently cold for storing food in the freezer.

Ice pack

There are two ice packs in one drawer of the freezer. In the event of a power failure or malfunction, the ice pack will lengthen

the amount of time it takes for the frozen food to become too warm by several hours. The ice pack can only fulfil this task optimally if it is placed in the uppermost drawer , at the fr ont, above the fr ozen food. Y ou can use the ice pack for cooling cold bags.

FROSTMATIC

The FROSTMATIC function accelerates the freezing of fr esh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming.

1. The FROSTMATIC function is switched on by pressing the FROSTMATIC button. The yellow light illuminates.

If the FROSTMATIC function is not ended manually, the appliance electro-

nics switch off the FROSTMATIC function after 52 hours. The yellow light goes out.

2. The FROSTMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by pressing the FROSTMATIC button again. The yellow light goes out.

Alarm reset button

In the event of an abnormal temperature rise inside the freezer (e.g. power cut) warning light (H) will start to flash and a buzzer will sound.

After the temperature has returned to normal, the warning light (H) will continue to flash, although the buzzer has stopped.

When the alarm button is pressed, the warmest temperature r eached in the compartment flashes on the indicator.(max. 5 seconds). To stop the buzzer push the button “I”.

Switching the Appliance off

To switch off, hold down the ON/OFF button for approx. 3 seconds. This will result in a countdown from "3" to "1" taking place in the temperature display. On reaching "1" the fridge will switch off. The temperature display will go off.

Note:

The appliance cannot be switched on or off if unplugged, or if there is no power being supplied to it. Following connection to the mains power supply, the appliance returns to the same operating state as before the interruption of main power.

If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:

1. Switch off the appliance, holding down the ON/OFF button until the display goes off (see above).

2. Remove the mains plug or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

3. Defrost the freezer compartment and clean the appliance thoroughly (see section: “Cleaning and Maintenance”).

4. Finally, leave the doors open so as to avoid a build up of odour s.

Freezing and storing frozen food

You can use your freezer for freezing fresh food yourself.

Important!

• The temperature in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder

before freezing food.

• Please observe the freezing capacity given on the rating plate. The free-

zing capacity is the maximum quantity of fresh food that can be frozen within a period of 24 hours. If you wish to freeze food several days in a

row , please observe a maximum capacity of only 2/3 to 3/4 of that on the rating plate. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible.

• Allow warm food to cool down before freezing. The warmth will cause

increased ice formation and increase the power consumption.

• Please note the maximum storage times specified by the manufacturer.

• Thawed foods which have not been processed further (cooked into meals)

may not under any circumstances be frozen a second time.

• Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures.

There is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any containers with flammable materials such as, for example, spray cans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refrigerator/freezer.

• Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer. They can burst when

the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode! Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the freezer. Exception: high alcohol content spirits can be stored in the freezer.

• All foods must be packed air tight prior to freezing, so that they do not

dry out or lose their flavour, and so that no flavour contamination of other frozen goods occurs.

Caution! Do not touch frozen food with wet hands. Your hands could freeze to the food.

1. Place the packed food in the drawers. Place food to be frozen as show in the figure. Unfrozen food must not touch items already frozen, otherwise the frozen food could begin to defrost.

2. Press the fast freeze button 24 hours before introducing fresh food for freezing of fresh food. The yellow light comes on.

3. Place frozen foods in the drawers sorted by type, as far as possible.

Preparation of Ice Cubes

1. Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 full with cold water, place it in the freezer compartment and leave to freeze.

2. To loosen the frozen cubes, either bend the ice cube tray or hold it under running water for a few seconds.

Important! Never try to free an ice tray that is frozen to the freezer compartment using pointed or sharp edged objects. Use the ice scraper supplied.

in months for the appropriate types of frozen goods.

Whether the upper or lower value of the indicated storage time is valid depends on the quality of the foods and pre-treating before freezing. The lower value applies to foods with high fat content.

The inner walls of the freezer are automatically defrosted.

Switching off the appliance

If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:

1. Remove all deep-frozen packages as well as ice trays.

2. Switch off the appliance by holding down the ON/OFF button.

3. Remove the mains plug or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

4. Defrost freezer compartment and clean thoroughly (see section: “Cleaning and Care”).

5. Leave the door open to avoid the build up of odours.

Cleaning and Care

For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly.

Warning!

• The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Danger

of electrical shock! Before cleaning switch the appliance offand rem ve the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumu-

late in electrical components, danger of electrical shock! Hot vapours can

• Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources of

warmth. High ambient temperatures cause longer, more frequent operation of the compressor.

• Ensure sufficient air circulation and exhaust at the appliance base and at

the back wall of the appliance. Never cover air vent openings.

• Do not place warm foods into the appliance. Allow warm foods to cool

first.

• Only leave door open as long as necessary.

• Do not set temperature any colder than necessary.

• Put frozen food in the fridge to defrost. The cold in the frozen food will

then be used to cool the fridge.

• Keep the heat emitting condenser, the metall grille on the rear wall of

your appliance, always clean.

Attention!

• Do not use any abrasive cleansers.

1. Remove frozen food and the food from the refrigerator. Wrap frozen food in several layers of newspaper. Store it in a cool place, well covered.

2.. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse.

3. Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. Commercially available dish washing detergents may also be used.

4. After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry. Accumulation of dust at the condenser increases energy consumption. For

this reason carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance once a year with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.

Correcting Malfunctions

A malfunction may be caused by only a minor fault that you can rectify yourself using the following instructions. Do not perform any other work on the appliance if the following information does not provide assistance in your specific case.

Warning! Repairs to refrigerator s/fr eezer s may only be performed by qualified service engineers. Improper repairs can give rise to significant hazards for the user. If your appliance needs r epairing, please contact your specialist dealer or our Customer Service.

Heavy build up of frost, possibly also on the door seal.

Door seal is not air tight (possibly after changing over the hinges).

Carefully warm the leaking sections of the door seal with a hair dryer (not hotter than approx. 50 °C). At the same time shape the warmed door seal by hand such that it sits correctly .

The freezer temperature is not sufficient, red light lights up, temperature signal sounds

The appliance is near a heat source.

Disturbance on the appliance

Switch on the fast freeze switch, keep the freezer closed, inform your customer service

Unusual noises.

The appliance is touching the wall or other objects.

If necessary, car efully bend the component out of the way.

Seguridad

La seguridad de nuestros aparatos cumple los reglamentos técnicos aprobados y la ley de seguridad de los aparatos. No obstante esto, consideramos oportuno facilitar vuestra familiaridad con las siguientes advertencias:

Utilización conforme a la finalidad prevista

• El aparato frigorífico es apto para una utilización doméstica. Es apto para enfriar, congelar y sobrecongelar productos alimentarios y para preparar helados. Es apto para congelar y conservar productos alimentarios y helados.

• Por motivos de seguridad no se permite en ningún caso aportar modificaciones o transformaciones al aparato.

• Si se desea utilizar el aparato frigorífico en ámbito empresarial o para finalidades que no sean la refrigeración o congelación de productos alimentarios, se ruega ajustarse a las disposiciones de ley vigentes para vuestro sector.

Antes de la primera puesta en servicio

• Verificar que el aparato no presente eventuales daños debidos al transporte. ¡No conectar a la red, en ningún caso, un aparato estropeado! Si presenta daños dirigirse al proveedor.

Sustancia refrigerante

El aparato contiene, en el circuito refrigerante, un gas natural denominado Isobutano (R600a), altamente tolerado por el medio ambiente, pero que de todas maneras es inflamable.

• Durante el transporte y la instalación del aparato se debe pr estar atención en no estropear ningún elemento del circuito refrigerante.

• En caso de daños al circuito refrigerante:

– evitar terminantemente las llamas libres y las fuentes de ignición; – proporcionar a una buena ventilación en el sitio donde se encuentra el

aparato.

Seguridad de los niños

• Los elementos del embalaje (por ej. hojas de plástico, poliestireno) pueden ser peligrosos para los niños. ¡Peligro de sofocación! ¡Mantener el material de embalaje fuera del alcance de los niños!

• Los aparatos que no se van a utilizar más, antes de desguazarlos, se deben poner inutilizables. Desenchufar la clavija, cortar el cable de red, sacar o destruir los eventuales cierres de bloqueo. De esta manera se evita que

niños puedan quedar encerrados en el aparato mientras juegan (¡Peligro de sofocación!) y se evita que puedan encontrarse en otras situaciones peligrosas para su vida.

• Este aparato no está pensado para ser utilizado por personas (incluidos los niños) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas, o que no tengan experiencia y conocimiento, a menos que una persona responsable de su seguridad les supervise o les ofrezca instrucción en el uso del aparato. Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurar se de que no jueguen con el aparato.!

En el servicio diario

• Los contenedores de gases inflamables o de líquidos, por efecto del frío pueden perder su estanqueidad. ¡Peligr o de explosiones! No guar dar nunca contenedores con sustancias inflamables, como por ejemplo aerosoles, encendedores y cartuchos de abastecimiento, etc. en el frigorífico.

• Las botellas y las latas no se deben poner nunca en el congelador. Podrían explotar tan pronto se congela su contenido, mientras que los líquidos que contienen anhídrido carbónico (bebidas con gas) ¡pueden llegar a estallar! No poner nunca en el congelador limonada, zumos de fruta, cerveza, vino, cava, etc. Hacen excepción: las bebidas superalcohólicas que se pueden poner en el congelador.

• No tragarse los helados ni los cubitos de hielo recién sacados del congelador. El helado o el hielo muy fríos se pueden congelar en contacto con la lengua o los labios provocando heridas.

• No tocar los productos congelados con las manos mojadas. Las manos se podrían congelar sobre el producto.

• No utilizar nunca pequeños electrodomésticos (por ej. máquinas eléctricas para hacer helados, batidoras, etc.) dentro del frigorífico.

• Antes de efectuar las operaciones de limpieza es necesario apagar el aparato, desenchufar la clavija de la toma de red, o quitar el fusible.

• Desenchufar la clavija de la toma de red agarrándola siempre por el cuerpo de la clavija y nunca tirando del cable.

En caso de inconvenientes

• Si en el aparato se produjera un inconveniente se ruega leer las instrucciones bajo el epígrafe “Qué hacer si...”. Si dichas instrucciones no bastaran hay que abstenerse de efectuar ulteriores operaciones de reparación.

• Los aparatos frigoríficos deben ser reparados exclusivamente por per sonal especializado. Las reparaciones incorrectas pueden acarrear notables riesgos. En caso de necesitar una reparación, se ruega dirigirse al pr opio proveedor o a un centro de asistencia autorizado.

Eliminación

Información sobre el embalaje del aparato

Todos los materiales de producción utilizados ¡son tolerados por el medio ambiente! Se pueden tirar tranquilamente a la basura o pueden ser incinerados en las plantas para basuras urbanas. En cuanto a los materiales de pr oducción: Los materiales sintéticos también se pueden reciclar y vienen marcados como sigue:

>PE< para el polietileno, por ej. en el envoltorio exterior y en las bolsas internas.

>PS< para el poliestireno expandido, por ej. en los elementos embutidos, en general exento de propulsores.

Las piezas de cartón están realizadas con papel reciclado y es preciso echarlas a los contenedores destinados a la recogida del papel.

Desguace de aparatos viejos

Para proteger el medio ambiente es necesario desguazar los aparatos viejos de una manera adecuada. Esto vale también para vuestro apar ato que haya terminado de prestar su servicio.

¡Atención! Los aparatos que ya no sirven más, antes de desguazarlos se deben poner inutilizables. Desenchufar la clavija, cortar el cable de red, sacar o destruir los eventuales cierres de bloqueo. De est manera se evita que niños puedan quedar encerrados en el aparato mientras juegan (¡Peligro de sofocación!) y se evita que puedan encontrarse en otras situaciones peligr osas para su vida.

Advertencias acerca del desguace :

• El aparato no debe ser tirado a la basura sino que debe ser entregado a organizaciones autorizadas para su eliminación.

• El circuito refrigerante, en particular el inter cambiador de calor situado en la parte inferior del aparato, no se debe estropear.

• El símbolo en el producto o en su embalaje indica que este producto no se puede tratar como desperdicios normales del hogar . Este pr oducto se debe entregar al punto de recolección de equipos eléctricos y electrónicos para reciclaje. Al asegurar se de que este producto se deseche correctamente, usted ayudará a evitar posibles consecuencias negativas para el ambiente y la salud pública, lo cual podría ocurrir si este producto no se manipula de forma adecuada. Para obtener información más detallada sobre el reciclaje de este producto, póngase en contacto con la administración de su ciudad, con su servicio de desechos del hogar o con la tienda donde compró el producto.

Quitar el seguro para el transporte

El aparato y los accesorios internos están protegidos para el transporte.

• Quitar las cintas adhesivas situadas en los lados de la puerta

• Quitar todas las cintas adhesivas y los elementos de bloqueo de dentro del aparato.

Si fuese inevitable instalar el aparato al lado de una fuente de calor , es necesario mantener las siguientes distancias mínimas: – de los hornos eléctricos 3 cm; – de las estufas de queroseno y leña 30 cm. Si no fuese posible mantener dichas distancias mínimas, es necesario poner una plancha protectora contra el calor entre el horno y el frigorífico. "No se permite el montaje directo debajo de una placa de cocción. Las temperaturas, en parte elevadas, de la placa de cocción pueden perjudicar el aparato. Si cerca del aparato se instala una placa de cocción, deben respetarse las correspondientes prescripciones de montaje y de seguridad. Dadas las múltiples condiciones de instalación posibles, aquí es imposible proporcionar información detallada al respecto. Es necesario evitar que el frigorífico se caliente, manteniendo una distancia oportuna respecto a las fuentes de calor y utilizando una adecuada plancha de aislamiento térmico. Debe garantizarse así mismo una ventilación correcta del aparato."

Es preciso colocar el aparato en un sitio bien ventilado y seco. La temperatura ambiente influye mucho sobre el consumo de corriente. P or tanto el aparato no debería: – quedar expuesto directamente a los rayos del sol; – ser puesto al lado de elementos caloríficos, de un horno o de otras fuen-

tes de calor similares;

– mientras que debería ser colocado en un sitio en que la temperatura

ambiente se corresponda con la clase climática para la cual ha sido construido.

La clase climática viene indicada en la placa de características, situada dentro de la cámara frigorífica a mano izquierda.

La siguiente tabla indica qué temperaturas ambiente están asociadas con las clases climáticas:

Conexión eléctrica

Para efectuar la conexión eléctrica es necesario utilizar una toma de corriente con contacto de protección, instalada conforme a las prescripciones vigentes. El fusible eléctrico debe ser por lo menos de 10 Amperios. Si una vez instalado el aparato no fuese posible acceder a la toma (para eventualmente desenchufar el aparato), es necesario tomar las medidas adecuadas para garantizar la desconexión del aparato de la red eléctrica (por ej. fusible, interruptor LS, interruptor de protección contra sobrecorrientes o dispositivos parecidos, que tengan una apertura entre los contactos de por lo menos 3mm).

• Antes de poner en servicio el aparato hay que comprobar que la tensión y la frecuencia del aparato, indicados en su placa de características, se correspondan con los de la red eléctrica general de alimentación:

por. ejemplo. AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz o bien

230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (por tanto de 230 a 240 Voltios en corriente alterna, 50 Hertz). La placa de características se encuentra dentro de la cámara frigorífica, a

mano izquierda.

Antes de la primera puesta en servicio

• Limpiar el interior del aparato y todos los accesorios antes de poner en servicio el frigorífico (ver capítulo “Limpieza y cuidados”).

Teclas de regulación de la temperatura

La regulación de la temperatura se pr oduce con las teclas „+" (TEMPERA TURA MÁS ALTA) y „-" (TEMPERATURA MÁS BAJA).

Las teclas están conectadas al indicador de la temperatura.

• Pulsando una de las dos teclas „+" (TEMPERATURA MÁS ALTA) o „-" (TEMPERATURA MÁS BAJA), la pantalla de la temperatura cambia de la temperatura REAL (la pantalla de la temperatura está encendida) a la temperatura DESEADA (la pantalla de la temperatura parpadea).

• Cada vez que se pulsa una de las dos teclas se modifica la temperatura DESEADA 1 ºC. La temperatura DESEADA se alcanza en 24 horas.

• Si no se pulsa ninguna tecla, la pantalla de la temperatura se pone automáticamente en la temperatura REAL después de unos 5 segundos.

Temperatura DESEADA significa:

la temperatura fijada en el interior del compartimento frigorífico. La temperatura DESEADA se muestra con cifras parpadeantes.

Temperatura REAL significa:

la pantalla de la temperatura muestra la temperatura efectivamente presente en ese momento en el compartimento frigorífico. La temperatura REAL se muestra con cifras que permanecen encendidas.

La pantalla de la temperatura puede mostrar varias informaciones.

• Durante el funcionamiento normal se muestra la temperatura que está presente en ese momento en el compartimento frigorífico (temperatura REAL).

• Durante la regulación de la temperatura, la temperatura fijada en ese momento en el compartimento frigorífico (temperatura DESEADA) se muestra en la pantalla con cifras parpadeantes.

Puesta en ejercicio - Regulación de la temperatura

1. Introducir el enchufe de red en la toma.

2. Pulsar la tecla ENCENDIDO / APAGADO. Se ilumina el indicador verde de control. El indicador de alarma (H) continua parpadeando, hasta que se alcanza la temperatura interior fijada. Se activa la señal acústica.

3. Pulsar la tecla „+" (C) o „-" (E). La pantalla de la temperatura cambia y muestra, parpadeando, la temperatura DESEADA que está fijada en ese momento.

4. Regule la temperatura deseada pulsando la tecla „+" (C) y „-" (E) (ver el párrafo "Teclas de regulación de la temperatura"). La pantalla de la temperatura muestra inmediatamente la nueva opción fijada. Cada vez que se pulsan las teclas se varía la temperatura 1 ºC.

Según las ciencias de la alimentación, se aconseja que el compartimento congelador esté a -18 ºC como temperatura de conservación.

5. El indicador de alarma se apaga cuando se alcanza la temperatura fijada. Pulsar la tecla desactivación de alarma para desconectar la señal acústica.

Masa eutéctica

El aparato puede dotarse en su interior de una o más masas eutécticas. En caso de interrupción de la corriente o de mal funcionamiento del apara-

to, la masa eutéctica aumentará algunas horas la conservación de los alimentos congelados. Para disfrutar de la mejor maner a de la masa eutéctica, ésta última debe ponerse en el cajón superior . La masa eutéctica puede usarse también como elemento refrigerante para las bolsas térmicas.

FROSTMATIC

La función FROSTMATIC se utiliza para un rápido congelamiento de alimentos frescos y protege al mismo tiempo los alimentos ya congelados contra un aumento no deseado de la temperatura.

1. Pulsando la tecla FROSTMATIC se conecta la función FROSTMATIC y se enciende el indicador amarillo.

Si la función FROSTMATIC no se anula manualmente, los componentes electrónicos del aparato la desconectan después de unas 24 horas. Se apaga el indicador amarillo.

2. Pulsando de nuevo la tecla FROSTMATIC se puede anular manualmente la función FROSTMATIC en cualquier momento. Se apaga el indicador amarillo.

Tecla de desactivación de la alarma

Si se produce un aumento anómalo de la temperatura del compartimento congelador (por ejemplo, por falta de energía eléctrica) éste se indica con el parpadeo del indicador (O) y con una señal acústica.

Al restablecerse las condiciones normales, la señal acústica se apaga mientras continua parpadeando el indicador de alarma.

Pulsando la tecla de alarma aparece en el indicador durante algunos segundos la temperatura más alta que se ha alcanzado en el compartimento.

Apagado del aparato

Para apagar el frigorífico basta mantener apretada la tecla ENCENDIDO / APAGADO durante unos 5 segundos. En la pantalla de la temperatura se muestra el llamado „Count down" (cuenta atrás) de "3" a "1". Una vez alcanzada la posición "1" el compartimento frigorífico se desconecta y se apaga la pantalla de la temperatura.

Advertencia:

Si el enchufe está desconectado o falta la alimentación de corriente, no se pueden modificar las opciones del aparato. Después de haberlo conectado a la red, el aparato se pone otra vez en el estado de funcionamiento en que se encontraba antes de la interrupción de corriente.

Si el aparato permanece encendido durante un largo periodo de tiempo, se deberán seguir los siguientes pasos:

1. Apagar el aparato manteniendo apretada la tecla ENCENDIDO / APAGADO hasta que se apague la pantalla (ver encima).

2. Extraer el enchufe de la red o desconectar el fusible.

3. Efectuar el desescarche del compartimento del congelador y limpiar cuidadosamente el aparato (ver el párrafo "Limpieza y mantenimiento").

4. Finalmente, dejar abierta la puerta para evitar que se formen malos olores en el interior del aparato.

Congelación y sobrecongelación

Vuestro congelador es apto tanto para conservar sobrecongelados como para congelar alimentos frescos.

Atención

• La temperatura en la sección congelador debe ser de -18°C o inferior,

antes de poner dentro los alimentos a congelar.

• Para la congelación hay que ajustar se a las cantidades indicadas en la pla-

ca de características. La cantidad para la congelación es la cantidad máxima de alimentos frescos que es posible congelar en 24 horas. Queriendo congelar alimentos frescos por más días consecutivos, reducir la cantidad indicada en la placa a 2/3 ó 3/4.

• Dejar enfriar eventuales alimentos calientes antes de congelarlos. El calor

lleva a una fuerte formación de escarcha y conlleva un alto consumo de energía.

• Respetar las fechas de caducidad indicadas en los paquetes por el pro-

ductor de los sobrecongelados.

• Los alimentos, una vez descongelados, no se pueden congelar de nuevo

previa cocción.

• Los contenedores de gases inflamables o de líquidos, por efecto del frío

pueden perder su estanqueidad. ¡Peligro de explosión! No guardar nunca contenedores con sustancias inflamables, como por ejemplo aerosoles, encendedores y cartuchos de abastecimiento, etc. en el frigorífico.

• Las botellas y las latas no se deben poner nunca en el congelador. Pueden

explotar tan pronto se congela su contenido, mientras que los líquidos que tienen anhídrido carbónico (bebidas con gas) ¡pueden llegar a estallar! No poner nunca en el congelador limonada, zumos de fruta, cerveza, vino, cava, etc. Hacen excepción: las bebidas superalcohólicas que se pueden poner en el congelador.

• Envolver herméticamente los alimentos antes de congelarlos, para evitar

que se sequen, pierdan el aroma o que los sabores se mezclen con los de los otros alimentos congelados.

Atención! No tocar nunca los productos congelados con las manos mojadas. La piel podría pegarse al producto.

1. Poner los alimentos empaquetados en los cajones. Poner los alimentos frescos a congelar en el cajón superior. Los alimentos no congelados no deben entrar en contacto con los ya congelados, de los contrario los productos congelados podrían descongelarse en algunos puntos.

Apagado del aparato

Si fuese necesario apagar el aparato por un largo plazo:

1. Vaciar las secciones del congelador.

2. Apagar el aparato.

3. Desenchufar la clavija de la toma de corriente o desconectar la válvula de seguridad.

4. Limpiarla (ver párrafo “Limpieza y cuidados”).

5. Dejar abiertas las puertas para evitar que se formen olores desagradables.

Cubitos de hielo

1. Llenar hasta los 3/4 la bandeja del hielo con agua fría y ponerla en el cajón congelador.

2. Para sacar los cubitos listos basta torcer la bandeja o ponerla por poco tiempo debajo de un chorro de agua corriente

¡Atención! Se recomienda no utilizar utensilios puntiagudos ni con cantos para desprender la bandeja que eventualmente se haya quedado pegada. Utilizar la paleta para rascar la escarcha incluida en el suministro.

Calendario de productos congelados

• Los símbolos en las cubetas indican los diferentes tipos de productos congelados.

• Las cifras indican el tiempo de conservación en meses para cada tipo de producto congelado.

La validez del valor máximo o mínimo esta-blecido del tiempo de conservación de los productos congelados depende de la calidad y de la preparación de ellos antes de ser congelados. El valor mínimo corresponde a víveres con un elevado porcentaje de grasa.

Descongelación

La descongelación de la sección congelador se produce automáticamente.

2. Si se desea una congelación rápida de los alimentos o si se desea utilizar la cantidad conecta la función FROSTMATIC.

3. Poner los productos congelados a ser posible separados en los cajones.

Limpieza y cuidados

Por motivos de higiene se debería limpiar siempre y con r egularidad el interior del aparato, incluidos los accesorios.

¡Advertencia!

• Durante la limpieza, el aparato debe estar desenchufado de la red eléctri-

ca. ¡Peligro de electr ocución! Antes de efectuar las operaciones de limpieza es necesario apagar el aparato, desenchufar la clavija de la toma de red, o quitar el fusible.

• No limpiar nunca el aparato utilizando hidrolimpiadoras a vapor . La hume-

dad podría penetrar en los elementos eléctricos, ¡Peligr o de electrocución! El vapor hirviente puede dañar las partes en material sintético.

• El aparato debe estar completamente seco antes de ponerlo de nuevo en

servicio.

¡Atención!

• Aceites esenciales y sustancias solventes orgánicas pueden atacar los ele-

mentos en material sintético, por ej. – zumo de limón o cortezas de naranja; – mantequilla ácida; – sustancias detergentes que contengan ácido acético. Evitar el contacto entre los elementos del aparato y dichas sustancias.

• No utilizar nunca sustancias detergentes abrasivas.

1. Quitar los alimentos. Envolver los sobrecongelados con varias hojas de diario. Guardar dichos alimentos en un sitio fresco.

2. Apagar el aparato y desenchufar la clavija de la toma de red o bien desconectar o desenroscar el fusible.

3. Limpiar el aparato y los accesorios internos con un paño suave empapado de agua caliente. Eventualmente añadir un poco de detergente para lavar platos.

4. Aclarar y secar frotando. Los depósitos de polvo en el condensador, situado en la parte trasera del

aparato, reducen notablemente la potencia de enfriamiento por lo que aumentan el consumo energético. Es necesario pues limpiarlo esmeradamente, una vez al año, con un cepillo o una aspiradora.

5. Una vez que todo está bien seco se puede poner de nuevo en servicio el aparato.

Consejos para ahorrar energía

• No instalar el aparato cerca de hornos, elementos calentadores ni otras

fuentes de calor. Con temperaturas ambiente elevadas, el compresor se pone en marcha más a menudo y por más tiempo.

• Garantizar una ventilación suficiente en entrada y en salida. No tapar

nunca las ranuras de ventilación.

• No poner nunca alimentos calientes dentro del aparato; primero dejar que

se enfríen.

• Abrir la puerta sólo por el tiempo necesario.

• No seleccionar una temperatura más fría que lo necesario.

• Poner los alimentos a descongelar en la sección frigorífico. El frío genera-

do por la descongelación contribuye en enfriar la sección frigorífico.

• Mantener constantemente limpio el condensador situado en la parte tra-

sera del aparato.

Qué hacer si...

Remedios en caso de inconvenientes

Probablemente se trata de un avería leve que podéis eliminar por cuenta vuestra, siguiendo estas instrucciones, sin tener que dirigiros al servicio técnico. No tenéis que efectuar ninguna otra operación si las aquí presentadas no bastan para solucionar el caso indicado.

¡Advertencia! Las reparaciones del frigorífico han de ser efectuadas exclusivamente por personal especialista. Las reparaciones no adecuadas pueden entrañar graves riesgos para el usuario. Si fuese necesario efectuar una reparación, dirigiros exclusivamente a vuestro revendedor autorizado o a nuestro servicio de asistencia al cliente.

El aparato ha sido proyectado para la utilización doméstica y ha sido fabricado según las normas vigentes para esta clase de aparato. Para su producción han sido así mismo tomadas medidas especiales conforme a la ley de seguridad de los aparatos (GSG), las prescripciones de prevención de accidentes para equipos de refrigeración (VBG 20) y las disposiciones de la cooperativa eléctrica alemana (VDE). Se ha comprobado la estanqueidad del circuito refrigerante.

Sicurezza

La sicurezza dei nostri apparecchi é conforme ai regolamenti appr ovati della tecnica ed alla legge di sicurezza degli apparecchi. Nonostante ciò, riteniamo di doverVi facilitare la presa di confidenza con le seguenti avvertenze:

Impiego conforme alla scopo previsto

• L’apparecchio r efrigerante é stato stabilito per l’uso domestico. È adatto per raffreddare, congelare e conservare prodotti alimentari surgelati nonché per la preparazione di gelati.

• Per motivi si sicurezza non é consentito in nessun caso apportare delle modifiche o trasformazioni.

• Nel caso si voglia impiegare l’apparecchio refriger ante nell’ambito imprenditoriale oppure per scopi differenti dal raffr eddamento, congelamento di prodotti alimentari, si prega di osservare le disposizioni de legge vigenti per il Vostro settore.

Prima della prima messa in servizio

• Verificare l’apparecchio su eventuali danni causati dal tr asporto. Non collegare in nessun caso un apparecchio danneggiato! In caso di danni rivolgersi al fornitore..

Sostanza refrigerante

L’apparecchio contiene nel circuito refrigerante un gas naturale denominato Isobutano (R600a), avente una elevata tolleranza per l’ambiente, il quale é tuttavia infiammabile.

• Osservare durante il trasporto e l’installazione dell’apparecchio che non venga danneggiato alcun elemento delcircuito refrigerante.

• In caso di danneggiamenti al circuito refrigerante:

– evitare assolutamente fiamme libere e fonti incendianti; – provvedere ad una buona aerazione del locale in cui si tr ova l’apparecchio.

Sicurezza dei bambini

• I pezzi di imballaggio (p.es. polistirolo) possono essere pericolosi per i bambini. Pericolo di soffocamento! Mantenere il metriale di imballaggio al di fuori della portata dei bambini!

• Gli apparecchi che non vengono più utilizzati devono essere resi inutilizzabili prima dello smaltimento. Estrarre la spina di rete, spezzar e il cavo di rete, rimuovere oppure distruggere le eventuali chiusure lampo di bloccaggio. Mediante ciò si evita che si possano chiudere dentro dei bambini

che giocano (pericolo di soffocamento!) oppure che possano trovarsi in altre situazioni pericolose per la vita.

• Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da persone (e bambini) con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'esperienza e delle nozioni necessarie, salvo i casi in cui agiscano sotto sorveglianza o siano stati opportunamente istruiti sull'uso di tale apparecchio da persone responsabili per la loro sicurezza. Evitare che i bambini utilizzino l'apparecchio in modo improprio.

Nel servizio quotidiano

• I contentitori di gas infiammabili oppure liquidi mediante l’effetto del freddo possono perdere la propria ermeticità. Pericolo di espolsione! Non immagazzinare mai dei contenitori con sostanze infiammabili, come p.es. bombole spray , accendini e cartucce di rifornimento, ecc. nell’apparecchio refrigerante.

• Le bottiglie e le lattine non devono essere collocatenella cella di congelamento. Queste possono scoppiare non appena si congela il contenuto, mentre i liquidi contenenti anidride carbonica possono addirittura esplodere! Non collocare mai della limonata, succhi, birra,vino, spumante, ecc. Ad eccezione: I superalcoolici possono essere immagazzinati nella cella di congelamento.

• Non ingoiare i gelati oppure i cubetti di ghiaccio appena estratti dalla cella di congelamento. Il gelato oppure ghiaccio molto freddo si può incollare alla lingua o alle labbra e causare quindi delle ferite.

• Non toccare i prodotti congelati con le mani bagnate. Le mani si potrebbero congelare sul prodotto.

• Non impiegare mai dei piccoli elettrodomestici (p.es. macchine elettriche da gelato, mescolatori, ecc.) nell’apparecchio refrigerante.

• Prima di eseguire i lavori di pulizia, é necessario disinserire l’apparecchio, estrarre la spina oppure disinserire rispett. svitare il fusibile dell’abitazione.

• Estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa tirando sempre dalla parte della spina, mai dal cavo.

Nel caso di una anomalia

• Se dovessero verificarsi delle anomalie, si prega di legger e in queste istruzioni per l’uso sotto “ Che cosa fare, se...”. Nel caso non siano sufficienti le avvertenze riportate, si prega di non eseguire ulteriori lavori atunomi di riparazione

• Gli apparecchi refrigeranti devono esser e ripar ati esclusivamente da persone specializzate. Nel caso della necessità di una riparazione, si prega di rivolgersi al proprio fornitore oppure presso il nostro servizio di assistenza.

Smaltimento

Informazione sull’imballaggio dell’apparecchio

Tutti i materiali di produzione impiegati sono tollerabili perl’ambiente! Questi possono essere depositati senza pericoli oppure smaltiti nell’impianto bruciatore di rifiuti urbani! Riguardo i materiali di produzione: I materiali sintetici possono essere anche riciclati e sono contrassegnati nella seguente maniera: >PE< per politilene, p. es. nell’involucro esterno e nei sacchetti all’interno. >PS< per polistirolo schiumoso, p.es. nei pezzi di imbottitura, in linea di massima privi di propellenti. I pezzi di cartone vengono realizzati con carta riciclata e devono essere rimessi nella raccolta della carta vecchia.

Smaltimento di apparecchi vecchi

Per motivi ecologici é necessario smaltire conformemente gli apparecchi vecchi. Ciò vale sia per il Vostro apparecchio finora usato ed anche per il Vostro apparecchio nuovo.

Attenzione! Gli apparecchi vecchi che non servono più, devono essere resi inutilizzabili prima dello smaltimento. Estrarre la spina di rete, spezzare il cavo di rete, rimuovere oppure distruggere le eventuali chiusure lampo di bloccaggio. Mediante ciò si evita che si possano chiudere dentro dei bambini che giocano (pericolo di soffocamento!) oppure che possano trovarsi in altre situazioni pericolose per la vita.

Avvertenze sullo smaltimento :

• L’apparecchio non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani o ingombranti.

• Il circuito refrigerante, in particolare lo scambiatore di calore situato nella parte inferiore dell’apparecchio, non deve essere danneggiato.

• Il simbolo sul prodotto o sulla confezione indica che il prodotto non deve essere considerato come un normale rifiuto domestico, ma deve essere portato nel punto di raccolta appropriato per il riciclaggio di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche. Pr ovvedendo a smaltire questo prodotto in modo appropriato, si contribuisce a evitare potenziali conseguenze negative per l'ambiente e per la salute, che potrebbero derivare da uno smaltimento inadeguato del prodotto. Per informazioni più dettagliate sul riciclaggio di questo prodotto, contattare l'ufficio comunale, il servizio locale di smaltimento rifiuti o il negozio in cui è stato acquistato il prodotto.

Rimuovere la sicura del trasporto

L’apparecchio nonché gli accessori interni sono protetti per il traporto

• Rimuovere i nastri adesivi situati ai lati porta

• Rimuovere dall’interno dell’apparecchio tutti i nastri adesivi nonchè i pezzi di imbottitura.

Nel caso sia inevitabile effettuare l’installazione accanto ad un fonte di calore, é necessario mantenere le seguenti distanze minime: – dai forni elettrici 3 cm; – dai forni a nafta e carbone 30 cm. Nel caso non possano essere mantenute queste distanze, é necessario inserire una piastra di protezione contro il calore tra il forno e l’apparecchio refrigerante. Se l’apparecchio r efrigerante è posto accanto ad un altro apparecchio refrigerante oppur e congelante é necessario mantener e una distanza laterale di 5 cm, allo scopo di evitare che si possa formare della condensa sui lati esterni degli apparecchi.

"Il montaggio diretto sotto un piano di cottura non è consentito. Le temperature, in parte elevate, del piano di cottura possono danneggiare l'apparecchio. Se nelle vicinanze dell'apparecchio viene installato un piano di cottura, devono essere rispettate le relative pr escrizioni di montaggio e di sicurezza. Data la molteplicità delle possibili condizioni di installazione, è impossibile fornire in questa sede informazioni dettagliate. E' necessario evitare il riscaldamento del frigorifero mantenendo un'opportuna distanza dalle fonti di calore e mediante l'impiego di un'adeguata piastra di isolamento termico. Deve inoltre essere garantita la corr etta ventilazione dell'apparecchio."

Installazione

Luogo d’installazione

L’apparecchio deve essere collocato in un luogo ben aerato ed asciutto. La temperatura ambientale ha un notevole effetto sul consumo di corrente. Pertano l’apparecchio dovrebbe – non essere esposto direttamente ai raggi solari; – non essere messo accanto ad elementi di calore oppure ad un forno o altr e

simili fonti di calore;

– essere messo in un luogo la cui temperatura ambientale corrisponda alla

classe climatica per la quale é stato concepito. La classe climatica é riportata sulla targhetta matricola situata a sinistra nell’interno della cella refrigerante. La seguente tabella mostra quali temperature ambiente sono state assegnate alle classi climatiche:

Collegamento elettrico

Per effettuare il collegamento eletrrico é necessario impiegare la spina con contatto di protezionz installata conformemente alle prescrizioni vigenti. Il fusibile elettrico deve corrispondere ad almeno 10 Ampèr e. Nel caso non sia possibile accedere alla presa dopo l’installazione, é necessario prender un idoneo provvedimento per garantire nell’installazione elettrica la separazione dalla rete dell’apparecchio (p.es. fusibile, interruttore LS, interruttore di protezione contro correnti errate oppure simili con una ampiezza di apertura del contatto di almeno 3mm.

• Prima della messa in servizio, verificare che la tensione di collegamento ed il tipo di corrente riportati sulla targa matricola corrispondono ai valori della rete elettrica del luogo di installazione..

p.es..: AC 230 ... 240 V 50 Hz oppure

230 ... 240 V~ 50 Hz (pertanto da 240 fino 240 Volt corrente alternata, 50 Hertz) La targa matricola si trova a sinistra nell’interno della cella.

Prima della messa in servizio

• Pulire l’interno dell’apparecchio e tutti gli accessori prima di effettuare

la messa in servizio (vedi capitolo “Pulizia e cura”).

Tasti di regolazione della temperatura

La regolazione della temperatura avviene tramite i tasti „+“ e „-“. I tasti sono collegati al display della temperatura.

• Premendo uno dei due tasti „+“ (PIÙ CALDO) oppure „-“ (PIÙ FREDDO), il display della temperatura si commuta dalla temperatura REALE (Il display della temperatura è acceso) sulla temperatura NOMINALE (Il display della temperatura lampeggia).

• Ad ogni ulteriore pressione di uno dei due tasti si aumenta la temperatura NOMINALE di 1 °C. La temperatura nominale deve essere r aggiunta entro le 24 ore.

• Premendo un tasto, il display della temperatura si riporta automaticamente sulla temperatura REALE dopo circa 5 secondi.

Temperatura NOMINALE significa:

la temperatura che dovrebbe esser e pr esente all’interno dello scomparto congelatore. La temperatura NOMINALE viene visualizzata da cifr e lampeggianti.

Temperatura REALE significa:

il display della temperatura visualizza la temperatura effettivamente presente in quel momento nello scomparto congelatore. La temperatura REALE viene visualizzata da cifre che restano accese.

Display della temperatura

Il display della temperatura può visualizzare diverse informazioni.

• Durante il funzionamento normale viene visualizzata la temperatura attualmente presente nello scomparto congelatore (temperatura EFFETTIVA).

• Durante la regolazione della temperatur a, la temper atura impostata in quel momento nello scomparto congelatore (temperatura NOMINALE) viene visualizzata sul display con cifre lampeggianti.

Messa in esercizio - Regolazione della temperatura

1. Inserire la spina di rete nella presa.

2. Premete il tasto ON/OFF. Si illumina la spia verde di controllo. La lampada spia d’alarme (H) continua a lampeggiare, finché la temperatura interna impostata non viene raggiunta. Si attiva il segnalatore acustico.

3. Premete il tasto „+“ (C) oppure „-“ (E). Il display della temperatura si commuta e visualizza, lampeggiando, la temperatura NOMINALE correntemente impostata.

4. Regolate la temperatura desiderata premendo il tasto „+“ (C) e „-“ (E) (vedi il paragrafo “Tasti di r egolazione della temper atur a”). Il display della temperatura visualizza immediatamente la nuova impostazione. Ad ogni pressione dei tasti si aumenta la temperatura di 1 ÞC.

Secondo la scienza dell'alimentazione, -18ÞC per lo scomparto congelatore sono sufficienti come temperatura di conservazione.

5. Il segnalatore acustico si spegne, quando viene raggiunta la temperatura impostata. Premere il tasto disattivazione alarme per disinserire la lampada spia d’alarme.

Massa eutettica

L’apparecchio può essere dotata di una o più all’interno una massa eutettiche.

In caso di interruzione della corrente o di mal funzionamento dell’apparecchiatura la massa eutettica aumenterà di qualche ora la conservzione dei cibi congelati. Per usufruire nel modo migliore la massa eutettica, quest’ultima deve essere posta nel cassetto superiore. La massa euttetica può essere usata anche come elemento raffreddante per la borse termiche.

FROSTMATIC

La funzione FROSTMATIC accelera la fase di congelamento degli alimenti freschi proteggendo contemporaneamente le vivande già congelate da un riscaldamento indesiderato.

1. Premendo il tasto FROSTMATIC si inserisce la cosiddetta funzione FROSTMATIC e si accende la spia gialla.

Se la funzione FROSTMATIC non viene revocata manualmente, i componenti elettronici dell’apparecchio la disinseriscono dopo 24 ore. La spia gialla si spegne.

2. Premendo nuovamente il tasto FROSTMATIC è possibile revocare manualmente la funzione FROSTMATIC in qualsiasi momento. La spia gialla si spegne.

Tasto disattivazione allarme

Un aumento anomalo della temperatura del vano congelatore (es. mancanza di energia elettrica) viene indicato dal lampeggio della lampada spia (H) e da un segnalatore acustico.

Al ripristino delle condizioni normali il segnalatore acustico si spegne mentre continua a lampeggiare la lampada spia d’allarme.

Premendo il tasto d’allarme appare sull’indicatore per alcuni secondi la temperatura più calda raggiunta nel vano.

Spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Per spegnere il frigorifer o basta tenere premuto il tasto ON/OFF per ca. 5 secondi. Sul display della temperatura viene visualizzato un cosiddetto „Count down“ (conto alla rovescia) da “3” a “1”. Una volta raggiunta la posizione “1”, lo scomparto congelatore si disinserisce ed il display della temperatura si spegne.

Avvertenza:

Se la spina è staccata oppure manca l’alimentazione di corrente non è possibile modificare le impostazioni dell’apparecchio. Dopo averlo collegato alla rete, l’apparecchio si riporta nello stato di funzionamento in cui si trovava prima dell’interruzione di corrente.

Se l’apparecchio resta spento per lunghi periodi di tempo, si dovrà procedere come segue:

1. Spegnete l’apparecchio tenendo premuto il tasto ON/OFF finché non si spegne il display (vedi sopra).

2. Estrarre la spina di rete oppure disinserir e rispett. svitare il fusibile.

3. Sbrinate lo scomparto congelatore e pulite accuratamente l’apparecchio (vedi il paragrafo "Pulizia e manutenzione").

4. Infine, lasciate aperta la porta per evitare che si formino cattivi odori all’interno dell’apparecchio.

Congelazione e conservazione

Il vostro congelatore é adatto sia per la conservazione dei surgelati che per la congelazione di cibi freschi.

Attenzione

• La temperatura nello scomparto congelatore dev’essere di -18°C o infe-

riore prima di introdurre i cibi per la congelazione.

• Attenersi per la congelazione ai quantitativi indicati sulla targa matrico-

la.Il quantitativo per la congelazione é la quantità massima di cibi freschi che possono essere congelati in 24 ore. Volendo effettuar e la congelazione di cibi freschi per più giorni consecutivi, ridurre il quantitativo riportato sulla targa a 2/3 o 3/4.

• Lasciare raffreddar e eventuali cibi caldi prima di congelarli. Il calore por-

ta a una forte formazione di brina ed un elevato consumo energetico.

• Rispettare le date di scadenza indicato sulle confezioni dal produttore

• I cibi una volta scongelati non possono venir ricongelati previa cottura.

• I contentitori di gas infiammabili oppure liquidi mediante l’effetto del

freddo possono perdere la propria ermeticità. Pericolo di espolsione! Non immagazzinare mai dei contenitori con sostanze infiammabili, come p.es. bombole spray , accendini e cartucce di rifornimento, ecc. nell’apparecchio refrigerante.

• Le bottiglie e le lattine non devono essere collocate nella cella di conge-

lamento. Queste possono scoppiare non appena si congela il contenuto, mentre i liquidi contenenti anidride carbonica possono addirittura esplodere! Non collocare mai della limonata, succhi, birra,vino, spumante, ecc. Ad eccezione: I superalcoolici possono essere immagazzinati nella cella di congelamento.

• Avvolgere ermeticamente gli alimenti prima della congelazione in modo

da evitare che si asciughino, perdano gli aromi o che i sapori si trasmet-

tano agli altri cibi congelati. Attenzione! Mai toccare i cibi congelati con le mani bagnate. La pelle potrebbe rimanere attaccata.

1. Porre gli alimenti impacchettati nei cassetti. Porre gli alimenti freschi da congelare come da figure. I cibi freschi non devono venire a contatto con gli alimenti gia’ congelati, per evitare il loro scongelamento.

Spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Se l’apparecchiatura dovesse essere spenta per un lungo periodo:

1. Svuotare lo scomparto congelante .

2. Spegnere l’apparecchio premendo il tasto B.

3. Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente oppure disinserire la valvola di sicurezza.

4. Pulire l’apparecchiatura (vedi paragr afo “Pulizia e cura”).

5. Lasciare aperte le porte per evitare la formazione di odori sgradevoli.

Sbrinamento

Lo sbrinamento del congelatore avviene automaticamente.

Calendario di congelamento

• I simboli sui cassetti indicano diversi

tipi di prodotti da congelare.

• Le cifre indicano il periodo di conser-

vazione in mesi per ciascun tipo di prodotto da congelare.

Il periodo di conservazione dell’alimento congelato varia tra il minimo ed il massimo indicato (es. 2-6 mesi) ed e’ in funzione del cibo congelato. Per gli alimenti notevolmente grassi vale sempre la durata inferiore.

Cubetti di ghiaccio

1. Riempire a 3/4 la bacinella ghiaccio con acqua fredda e riporla nel cassetto congelatore.

2. Per togliere i cubetti pronti é sufficiente tor cere la bacinella o metterla br evemente sooto l’acqua corrente.

Attenzione! Si raccomanda di non usare utensili appuntiti o a spigoli per staccare la bacinella eventualmente rimasta attaccata. Utilizzare la paletta raschiabrina in dotazione.

2. Se si vuole congelare la quantità massima di congelazione si deve attivare 24 ore prima la congelazione rapida . Con quantità inferiori bastano 4-6 ore prima. La luce spia gialla si accende. Dopo aver raggiunto la temperatura ottimale spegnere la congelazione rapida. La luce spia gialla si spegne.

3. Collocare i prodotti congelati possibilmente in modo separato nei cassetti.

Pulizia e cura

Per motivi d’igiene si dovrebbe.sempre pulire accuratamente e regolarmente l’interno dell’apparecchio, compresi gli accessori.

Avvertimento!

• Durante la pulizia, l’apparecchio non deve essere collegato alla rete elet-

trica. Pericolo di scosse di corrente! Prima di eseguire i lavori di pulizia, é necessario disinserire l’apparecchio, estrarre la spina oppure disinserire rispett. svitare il fusibile.

• Non pulire mai l’apparecchio con delle idropulitrici a vapore. L’umidità

potrebbe penetrare negli elementi di costruzione elettrici, pericolo di scosse di corrente!Il vapore bollente può causare dei dannii ai pezzi in materiale sintetico.

• L’apparecchio deve esser e asciutto, ancor prima della nuova messa in ser-

vizio.

Attenzione!

• Oli essenziali e sostanze solventi organiche possono intaccare gli elemen-

ti in materiale sintetico, p.es. – succhi di limone oppure bucce di arancia; – burro acido; – sostanze detergenti contenenti acido di aceto. Evitare il contatto degli elementi dell’apparecchio con simili sostanze.

• Non impiegare mai sostanze detergenti graffianti.

1. Togliere i cibi. Avvolgere con più fogli di giornali i surgelati. Riporre il tutto in un luogo fresco.

2. Spegnere l’apparecchio ed estrarre la spina oppure disinsrire rispett. svitare il fusibile.

3. Pulire l’apparecchio e gli accessori interni con un panno morbido imbevuto di acqua calda. Aggiungere eventualmente del comune detergente per il lavaggio dei piatti.

4. Risciaquare e asciugare strofinando. I depositi di polvere sul condensatore situato sul lato posteriore dell’appa-

recchio, riducono notevolmente la potenza di raffreddamento ed aumentano quindi il consumo energetico. Pertanto é necessario pulirlo accuratamente una volta l’anno con una spazzola oppure un aspirapolvere.

5. Una volta che il tutto si é asciugato bene si può rimettere in servizio l’apparecchio.

Interventi in caso di anomalie

Probabilmente si tratta di un guasto di lieve entità che potrete eliminar e da soli seguendo le seguenti istruzioni. Non effettuare nessun’altra operazione qualore le informazioni qui riportate non fossero di alcun aiuto per il caso concreto.

Avvertenza! Le riparazioni del frigorifero devono essere eseguite unicamente da personale specializzato. Riparazioni improprie possono essere fonte di gravi pericoli per l’utente. Consigli per il risparmio energetico

• Non installare l’apparecchio vicino a forni, elementi riscaldanti o altre fon-

ti di calore. Con temperature ambientali elevate il compressore entra in funzione più spesso e più a lungo.

• Garantire una sufficiente aerazione in entr ata e uscita. Non coprir e mai le

aperture d’aerazione.

• Non collocare dei cibi caldi nell’apparecchio, lasciarli prima raffreddare.

• Aprire la porta solamente per quanto sia necessario.

• Non regolare una temperatura più fredda di quanto sia necessario..

• Mantenere costantemente pulito il condensatore posto sul lato posterio-

re dell’apparecchiatura.
