DESCRIPTION
This appliance consists of a hood and a telescopic flue which must be applied to the upper part of the hood in order to cover
the draft pipe. The appliance can be a filtering version one, a ducting version one or with an external motor.
In the Filtering version (Fig.1), the air and vapours conveyed by the appliance are depurated by charcoal filters and
recirculated around the room through the side venting ducts of the flue. ATTENTION: When using the filtering version, two
charcoal filters must be installed plus an air switch. Positioned in the upper part of the flue, this allows the air to be
recirculated throughout the room (Fig.1A). In the Ducting version (Fig.2), cooking vapours and odours are conveyed
straight outside by a disposal duct which passes through the wall/ceiling. Use of charcoal filters is therefore unnecessary.
In the version with an External motor (Fig.3), the appliance must be connected to an ducting apparatus/motor which works
on its own using the appliance as a union for the air to be scavenged. Use only motors proposed in the original
catalogue.
INSTALLATION
Remove the anti-grease filters before proceeding with the assembly instructions. This will make the appliance easier
to handle. To remove the anti-grease filters (Fig. 4): this is carried out by pushing the relative catch inwards and turning
it downwards until it disengages from the supports. Proceed with these instructions in reverse when refitting the filters.
Wall fixing with brackets : Make all the necessary holes on the wall using the relative boring template. Apply the
supplied brackets to the wall using the relative screws and screw anchors (Fig. 5). Before installing the hood, check that
the bracket fixing screws (Fig.5A) have been sufficiently slackened to allow the hood itself to be fitted in place.
Now fit on the hood using the relative rectangular slots situated at the rear of the appliance (Fig. 5). Since these coupling
slots are dimensionally larger than the brackets, the horizontal position of the appliance can be adjusted by sliding to the
right or left in order to align the equipment. The appliance can be regulated in height by means of the relative bracket adjuster
screws (Fig. 5B). Once having regulated the equipment, fix everything in place by tightening screws A (Fig.5) and inserting
safety screws C (Fig. 5).
Installation with the rear panel : The rear metal panel must be fixed to the wall in the upper part of the hob (Fig.6).
Rest the lower edge of the panel behind the hob and fix the upper edge to the wall by means of the two holes in the panel
itself, inserting the supplied screws and screw anchors (Fig. 6A). The appliance should be fixed to the rear panel in the same
way as wall fixing, using the supplied hood brackets and the screws and screw anchors supplied with the panel (Fig. 6B).
Fixing the decorative pipe : The following operations are essential for assembly: – Install the wiring system within
the decorative flue. – Prepare the air venting hole if your appliance is to be installed in the ducting version or in the version
with an external motor.
In the Ducting version and in the version with an External motor, to get optimal conditions the air venting pipe should:
– be as short as possible. – have the lowest number of bends (max bende angle: 90°). – be made of material approved
by local authorities (according to the State). – have its inner side as regular and smooth as possible.
It is moreover recommended to avoid drastic changes of pipe cross section (recommended diameter: 150 mm).
Using the supplied screws and screw anchors, fix the upper flue bearing bracket to the ceiling and/or wall, checking
that it is aligned with the hood (Fig. 7). Prepare the decorative flues, remembering that their final position must be that
illustrated in Fig.8. The air disposal gratings in the filtering version must be positioned in the upper part. For the ducting
version turn upside down the upper flue so that the air disposal gratings are downwards.
Ducting version and version with an external motor : Adjust the flue height and fix the relative screws (Fig.8). Connect the
hood flange to the outlet on the wall/ceiling by means of a suitable pipe.
Concerning the version with external motor only (Fig. 9): make the electrical connection between the hood and the external
motor by means of the proper terminal board: take off the cable clamp A and the cover B of the wiring junction box. Fix the
connection cable of the motor onto the terminal board C. Reassemble the cable clamp A and the cover B of the junction
box. The other end of the cable must be fixed onto the terminal board of the external motor.
Make the electrical connection of the hood by means of the power supply cable. Insert the decorative flue, fixing it at the
top and bottom through holes A and B (Fig.10).
Filtering version : Fix the switch fitting (Fig.11) to the upper flue using the relative screws. Connect a suitable hose to the
switch fitting. Fix the decorative flue to the ceiling bracket by means of the relative screws B (Fig.10). Keeping the lower
flue temporarily raised, connect the draft pipe to the hood flange. Make the electrical connection of the hood by means of
the power supply cable. Allow the decorative flue to lower in position and fix it to the flange support by means of supplied
screws A (Fig.10).
OPERATION
The hoods are provided with the following type of controls:

light D: indicates motor operation.
Particular care must be paid to the anti-grease filters which must be periodically cleaned in relation to use (at least
once every two months). Remove the anti-grease filters and wash them using neutral detergent.
When using the filtering version of the appliance, the charcoal filters must be changed according to use (Fig. 14),
usually every six months. Remove the anti-grease filters rotating them and replace them rotating into the opposite direction.
Light : If the light bulbs need changing, slacken the light cover by disconnecting the screw and remove the bulb itself
(Fig. 15). Replace with a bulb of the same type.
To change the rectangular halogen bulbs open the cover and remove the bulb without touching it with bare
hands (Fig.16). Replace with a bulb of the same type.

Das Gerät wird in einer Ausführung geliefert, die einen Einsatz sowohl im Umluftbetrieb als auch im Abluftbetrieb zuläßt.
Im Umluftbetrieb (Abb. 1), wird die Luft zusätzlich durch einzusetzende Kohlefilter geleitet und in den Raum zurückgeführt.
Hierfür ist das Oberteil des Teleskopkamins mit Öffnungen für den Luftaustritt in die Küche versehen. In dieses
Kaminoberteil ist in diesem Fall die mitgelieferte Luftumlenkweiche (Abb. 1A) einzubauen, die durch einen geeigneten
Luftkanal mit dem Luftaustrittsstutzen des Motors zu verbinden ist. Im Abluftbetrieb wird der Kochdunst durch Abluftrohre
ins Freie geleitet (Abb. 2). Kohlefilter sind in Abluftbetrieb nicht erforderlich. Das Gerät kann auch in Verbindung mit einem
externen Motor im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt werden (Abb. 3). Bitte verwenden Sie nun externe Motore, die vom
gleichen Hersteller stammen wie das Gerät.
INSTALLATION
Zur Montage des Geräts sind die Fettfilter herauszunehmen (Abb.4). Diese werden hierzu am entsprechenden Griff
leicht nach hinten gedrückt und nach unten aus der Federhalterung gezogen. Eingesetzt werden die Fettfilter im
umgekehrten Handlungsablauf.
Wandmontage des Geräts: Die beiden mitgelieferten Haken unter Verwendung der Bohrschablone, mit, für die
jeweilige Wandkonstruktion geeigneten Dübeln und Schrauben an der Wand befestigen (Abb. 5). Bevor nun das Gerät mit
den rechteckigen Öffnungen in der Geräterückwand in die Haken eingehängt wird, ist darauf zu achten, daß die
Feststellschrauben (Abb. 5A) an den Haken so weit gelöst sind, daß die Geräterückwand problemlos in die Halterungen
eingehängt werden kann. Da die Einhängeöffnungen in der Geräterückwand breiter sind als die Haken, kann das Gerät
zur Feinausrichtung nach links und rechts verschoben werden. Die Höhenregulierung des Geräts erfolgt durch Verstellen
der Regulierschrauben an den Aufhängehaken (Abb. 5B). Nach genauer Einstellung der endgültigen Position werden die
Feststellschrauben (Abb. 5A) fest angezogen. Zusätzlich wird das Gerät durch die Sicherungslöcher fest mit der Wand
verschraubt (Abb. 5C).
Montage des Geräts auf Stahlrückwand: Zunächst wird die Stahlrückwand über der Arbeitsplatte montiert. Hierzu
wird der untere hintere Rand der Rückwand hinter die Arbeitsplatte eingeführt, bis die Rückwand fest auf der Arbeitsplatte
aufsitzt (Abb.6). Anschließend wird die Rückwand durch die beiden Bohrungen am oberen Rand mit, für die Wand
geeigneten, Dübeln und Schrauben an der Wand befestigt (Abb. 6A). Die weitere Befestigung des Geräts auf der
Stahlrückwand erfolgt analog zur Wandbefestigung (Abb. 6B).
Montage des Kamins : Es wird empfohlen, den elektrischen Anschluß für das Gerät im Bereich hinter der
Kaminverkleidung vorzusehen. Im Fall einer Abluftversion ist zudem eine geeignete Abluftführung vorzusehen.
Um die bestmöglichsten Vorbedingungen zu erreichen, ist es zu empfehlen, bei Abluftversionen und mit Aussenmotor
Abluftrohre mit folgenden Eigenschaften zu verwenden: – möglichst kurzgehaltene Länge und. – die geringste Anzahl
von Kurven (Maximalwinkel der Kurve= 90 Grad). – es müssen normengerechte (je nach Staat) Materialien verwendet
werden. – Innenseite möglichst glatt.
Ausserdem ist es ratsam, drastische Veränderungen des Rohrquerschmittes zu vermeiden (empfohlener Durchmesser:
150 mm).
Zunächst wird die Position des Kaminbefestigungsteiles festgelegt. Dieses kann sowohl an der Decke, als auch an
der Wand festgeschraubt werden (Abb.7). Nun werden die beiden Kaminteile entsprechend der Geräteversion vorbereitet
(Abb. 8). Für die Umluftversion müssen die Lüftungsschlitze im Kaminoberteil nach oben weisen. Für die Abluftversion,
sowohl mit Motor wie auch für externen Motor, kann das Kaminoberteil umgedreht werden, so daß die Lüftungsschlitze
im Kaminunterteil verborgen sind.
Abluftversion sowohl mit Motor wie auch für externen Motor : Der Teleskopkamin wird zunächst auf die gewünschte Länge
eingestellt und mit den Feststellschrauben durch die sich hinten am Kamin befindlichen Rund- und Langlöcher fixiert
(Abb.8). Der Luftauslaßstutzen des Geräts wird mit der vorgesehenen Abluftleitung verbunden.
Bei Anschluß an einen externen Motor (Abb. 9): Die Verbindung zwischen dem Gerät und dem externen Motor ist mit einem
Kabel herzustelle, das mit dem Motor geliefert wird. Das Kabel ist im entsprechenden Anschlußgehäuse des Geräts
anzuklemmen. Das Anschlußgehäuse befindet sich neben dem Abluftstutzen des Gerätes und ist mit dem Hinweisschild
"Externer Motor" gekennzeichnet. Zum Anschluß des Kabels öffnet man den Deckel des Anschlußgehäuses (Abb.9A +
B), schließt das Kabel an den hierfür vorgesehenen Klemmen (Abb.9C) an und schließt den Deckel wieder. Zum Öffnen

und Schließen des Deckels löst bzw. schließt man die Deckelverschraubung.
Nun erst wird das Gerät an die Stromversorgung angeschlossen. Nun wird der in der Länge eingestellte Teleskopkamin
von vorne auf das Gerät geschoben und oben am Kaminbefestigungsteil (Abb.10B) und unten am vorgesehenen
Aufsatzteil des Kamins (Abb.10A) mit den entsprechenden Schrauben befestigt.
Umluftversion : Die Umluftweiche wird mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben im Kaminoberteil festgeschraubt (Abb.11). Nun
wird die vorgesehene Luftleitung, die das Gerät mit dem Umluftteil verbinden soll an der Umluftweiche befestigt. Die beiden
Teile des Teleskopkamins werden nun lose ineinandergesteckt, ohne die Kaminteile mit den Feststellschrauben zu
fixieren. Der Teleskopkamin wird von vorne auf das Gerät geschoben, das Kaminoberteil wird nach oben gezogen und
an der bereits montierten Kaminbefestigung festgeschraubt (Abb.10B). Das Kaminunterteil kann jetzt über das bereits
befestigte Kaminoberteil nach oben geschoben werden. Hier wird es provisorisch festgehalten. Damit ist über dem
Gerätekörper der Zugang möglich, um den bereits an der Umluftweiche montierten Luftkanal auch am Luftauslaßstutzen
des Geräts zu befestigen. Das Kaminunterteil wird schließlich auf den Gerätekörper abgesenkt und am vorgesehenen
Aufsatzteil des Kamins festgeschraubt (Abb.10A).
FUNKTIONSWEISE
Je nach Version ist das Gerät mit folgenden Befehlen ausgestattet:
Befehle gemäß Abb. 12: Schalter A: Beleuchtung. Schalter B: Ein- (erste Betriebstufe), Aus-Schalter. Schalter C: zweite
Betriebstufe. Schalter D: dritte Betriebstufe. Schalter E: Motorkontrolleuchte.
Befehle gemäß Abb. 13: Schalter A: Beleuchtung; Position 0: Beleuchtung ist ausgeschaltet; Position 1: Beleuchtung
ist eingeschaltet. Schalter B: Motorgeschwindigkeit. Schalter C: Motorhauptschalter - setzt das Gerät beim Einschalten
in der zuletzt einge-sellten Betriebsstufe in Betrieb; Position 0: Motor ist ausgeschaltet; Position 1: Motor ist eingeschaltet
D: Kontrolleuchte für Motorbetrieb.
Besonders wichtig ist die Reinigung der Fettfilter. Hierzu sind die Fettfilter abzunehmen. Die Filter mit einem
neutralen Reiniger waschen. Die Reinigungshäufigkeit hängt ab von der Benutzungsdauer und der Art der abzusaugenden
Wrasen.
Wechsel der Kohlefilter (bei Umluftgeräten): Soweit das Gerät im Umluftbetrieb eingesetzt wird, sind die Kohlefilter
regelmäßig auszutauschen und durch neue zu ersetzen. Die Austauschhäufigkeit hängt auch hier ab von der
Benutzungsdauer und der Art der abzusaugenden Wrasen. Mindestens sind die Kohlefilter alle sechs Monate zu
wechseln. Die Kohlefilter sind am Motorgehäuse befestigt und können durch Drehung gelöst und in umgekehrter
Drehrichtung befestigt werden (Abb. 14).
Wechsel der Glühlampen: Hierzu ist zunächst die Lichtabdeckung abzunehmen, indem die Sicherungsschraube
der Lichtabdeckung entfernt wird. Die Lichtabdeckung kann nun nach unten abgenommen werden (Abb. 15). Nun können
die Glühlampen gewechselt werden. Im Austauschfall sind unbedingt Glühlampen des selben Typs zu verwenden. Nach
dem Lampenwechsel ist die Lichtabdeckung wieder einzusetzen und die Sicherungsschraube wieder festzuziehen.
Wechsel der Neonlampe: Um die Neonlampe austauschen zu können, muß zunächst die Lichtabdeckung entfernt
werden. Dazu ist die Sicherungsschraube (Abb. 15) zu lösen. Nun kann die Lichtabdeckung abgenommen werden. Im
Austauschfall sind unbedingt Lampen des selben Typs zu verwenden. Beim Wiedereinsetzen der Lichtabdeckung ist die
Sicherungsschraube unbedingt wieder anzubringen.
Wechsel der Halogenlampen : Beim Lampenwechsel ist zu beachten daß nach längerem Betrieb des Gerätes die
Lampen sehr heiß werden. Es empfiehlt sich daher die Lampen in abgekühltem Zustand zu wechseln. Die Halogenlampen
nie mit bloßen Fingern anfassen! Zunächst ist die Lichtabdeckung zu öffnen (Abb. 16). Nun kann die Halogenlampe
gewechselt werden. Im Austauschfall sind unbedingt Halogenlampen des selben Typs zu verwenden.

DESCRIPTION
L’appareil est composé d’une hotte et d’un tuyau télescopique qui doit être appliquée sur la partie supérieure de la hotte,
en tant que revêtement du tuyau d’évacuation. L'appareil peut être en version recyclage, en version aspirante, ou en
version avec moteur extérieur. Dans la version Recyclage (Fig.1), l’air et les vapeurs convoyés par l’appareil sont épurés
par les filtres à charbons et remis en circulation à travers les grilles latérales d’aération du conduit. ATTENTION: Pour la
version Recyclage utiliser deux filtres à charbons et un déflecteur placé dans la partie haute du conduit permettant la
circulation de l’air dans le local (Fig.1A). Dans la version Aspirante (Fig.2), les vapeurs et les odeurs de la cuisine sont
convoyées directement à l’extérieur par un tuyau d’évacuation à travers la paroi/plafond. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire
d’utiliser les filtres à charbons. Dans la version avec moteur extérieur (Fig. 3) l'appareil doit être relié à une hotte aspirante
séparée. Il sert de base d'installation d'évacuation de l'air. Employer uniquement les moteurs proposés dans le
catalogue original.
INSTALLATION
Avant de procéder aux opérations de montage, pour manoeuvrer plus aisément l’appareil, démontez les filtres à
graisse (Fig. 4): débloquez le dispositif d’arrêt et poussez les filtres vers l’intérieur en les tournant vers le bas jusqu’à les

dégager des supports. Pour remonter les filtres, effectuez ces mêmes operations dans le sens inverse.
Fixation murale avec étriers : En utilisant le gabarit de perçage spécial faites tous les trous dans le mur. Fixez les
étriers au mur au moyen des vis et des chevilles en dotation (Fig. 5). Avant d’accrocher la hotte as-surez-vous que les vis
de fixation des étriers (Fig.5A) sont dévissés de manière à ce qu'il soit possible d'accrocher la hotte. Ensuite fixez la hotte
au moyen des fentes rectangulaires qui se trouvent à l’arrière de l’appareil (Fig. 5). Les fentes d'accrochage étant plus
grandes que les étriers, vous pouvez régler la position horizontale de l’appareil en le déplaçant vers la droite ou vers la
gauche suivant les exigences d’alignement des meubles suspendus. Le réglage de l’appareil en hauteur se fait au moyen
des vis des étriers (Fig. 5B). Après ce réglage, fixez le tout en serrant les vis 5A et en introduisant les vis de sécurité 5C.
Fixation avec panneau arrière : Le panneau métallique sera placé contre le mur, dans la partie supérieure de la table
de cuisson (Fig. 6). Appuyez le bord inférieur du panneau derrière la table de cuisson et ancrez le bord supérieur au mur
par les deux trous prévus dans le panneau, en y introduisant les vis et les chevilles (Fig. 6A). La fixation de l’appareil au
panneau arrière a lieu de la façon que la fixation murale, en utilisant les étriers de la hotte ainsi que les vis et les chevilles
du panneau en dotation (Fig. 6B).
Fixation du tuyau télescopique : Conditions essentielles pour le montage: – Prévoyez l’alimentation électrique à
l’intérieur du tuyau télescopique. – Si l'appareil doit être installé en version Aspirante ou en version avec moteur extérieur,
prévoyer le trou d’évacuation de l’air.
Pour obtenir des conditions optimales, vous devez, pour ce qui concerne la version aspirante et la version avec moteur
extérieur, employer un tuyau d’évacuation qui ait: – une longueur suffisante. – le moins de courbes possible (l'angle
maximum des courbes ne doit pas dépasser 90°). – soit fait d'une matière approuvée par la loi (qui peut varier selon les
Etats). – la partie interne le plus lisse possible.
De plus, nous vous conseillons d’éviter des changements brusques de section du tuyau (diamètre conseillé: 150 mm).
Au moyen des chevilles et des vis en dotation, fixez l’étrier supérieur du tuyau télescopique au plafond et/ou au mur,
de manière à ce qu’il soit aligné avec votre hotte (Fig. 7). Préparez les tuyaux sans oublier que leur position finale devra
être identique à celle de la Fig. 8. Pour la version recyclage, les grilles d’évacuation de l’air doivent être positionnées dans
la partie haute. Pour la version aspirante retournez le tuyau supérieur de façon à ce que les grilles d'évacuation d'air soit
dans la partie du bas.
Version aspirante et version avec moteur extérieur : Réglez la hauteur du tuyau télescopique et fixez les vis respectives
(Fig. 8). Raccordez la bride de la hotte au trou d’évacuation sur le mur/plafond, au moyen d’un tuyau approprié.
Seulement pour la version avec moteur extérieur (Fig. 9): faire la connexion électrique entre le moteur extérieur et la hotte
en utilisant les plaques de jonction appropriées: enlever l'élément A et le couvercle B de la boîte de connexion. Fixer le
cable de raccordement du moteur à la plaque de jonction C. Remonter l'élément A et le couvercle B de la boîte de
connexion. L'autre extrémité du câble doit être fixée à la plaque de jonction du moteur extérieur.
Effectuez le raccordement électrique de la hotte au moyen du câble d'alimentation. Montez le tuyau télescopique en le
fixant en haut et en bas par les trous A et B (Fig.10).
Version recyclage : Fixez le déflecteur (Fig.11) au tuyau supérieur au moyen des vis prévues à cet effet. Reliez le tuyau
flexible au déflecteur. Fixez le tuyau supérior à l’ étrier par les vis B (Fig.10). Soulevez un instant le tuyau inférieur pour
raccorder le tuyau d’évacuation à la bride de la hotte. Effectuez le raccordement électrique de la hotte au moyen du câble
d'alimentation. Laissez descendre le tuyau inférieur et ancrez-le au support bride par les vis A (Fig.10).
FONCTIONNEMENT
Selon les modéles, l'appareil est muni des types suivants de commandes:

du moteur.
Faites très attention surtout aux filtres à graisse et nettoyez-les périodiquement (au moins tous les deux mois).
Retirez les filtres à graisse et lavez-les avec un détersif neutre.
Si vous utilisez l'appareil en version recyclage, il est nécessaire de remplacer les filtres à charbons; la fréquence
de cette opération dépend de l'utilisation que vous en faites (Fig. 14), mais vous devez le faire environ tous les six mois.
Pour enlever les filtres, faites-leur suivre un mouvement rotatif, et raccrochez-les toujours en les faisant tourner, mais en
sens contraire.
Illumination : Pour acceder à la lampe d’illumination, retirer le plafonnier en dévissant la vis (Fig. 15). Remplacer avec
lampes du même type.
Pour remplacer les ampoules halogènes rectangulaires, ouvrir le volet (Fig. 16) et démonter l'ampoule
en faisant attention à ne pas la toucher de la main. Remplacer par une ampoule ayant les mêmes
caractéristiques.
