ALARM DIAGNOTICS

H. ACTIVE ARMING – LOCK &ARM
Press the button on the transmitter. The alarm arms, doors lock (if connected),
and the siren chirps and parking lights flash once. The + ARMED icons, the
text and beeps play to confirm. If ValetMode* is ON, the
+
icons, the text and tone play on the LCD transceiver. Exit Valet Mode to arm the alarm normally.
DEFECTIVE SENSOR REMINDER: If the siren sounds 3 chirps and the defective
/ / icon, text will displayon the LCD
screen, then you have left a door, trunk, or hood lid ajar. (See feature bank 1-06)
SILENT ARMING: Press andhold the buttons for 1.0 second and the
text will display on the LCD screen. This will arm your security system. No chirp sound will be heard and the arm confirmation will be through the vehicles parking lights only.
WARN-AWAY BY-PASS: T Press button twice will arm the security system and
by-pass the warn-away and the warn-away icon will disappear and
text and toneplay on the LCD transceiver.
Note: The bypass feature is programmed to activate for one arming cycle only. The
security system will returnto normal operation during the next arming cycle.
