Advance Adapters Ranger Reassembly User Manual

REMOVE BOTH SIDE COVERS.
RANGER REASSEMBLY
REMOVE THE 11 BOLTS THAT RETAIN THE REAR PLATE AND REMOVE THE REAR PLATE. ON THE SHIFTER SIDE COVER SIDE, REMOVE THE SHIFTER PIN BAR.
REMOVE THE SET SCREW THAT RETAINS THE SHIFTER RAIL. FROM THE REAR OF THE CASE TAKE A DRIFT PUNCH AND PUSH THE SHIFT RAIL OUT. AS IT COMES OUT OF THE SHIFTER FORK, A BALL AND SPRING WILL COME OUT OF THE SHIFT FORK.
REMOVE THE SHIFT FORK FROM THE CASE. FOR REASSEMBLY WE HAVE PROVIDED A DUMMY SHAFT TO RELOAD THE SHIFT BALL AND SPRING INTO THE SHIFT FORK. ONCE THE SHIFT FORK IS LOADED, INSTALL THE DUMMY SHAFT TO RETAIN THE BALL AND SPRING. YOU CAN THEN INSTALL THE FORK INTO THE CASE. AS THE SHIFT RAIL IS INSTALLED FROM THE FRONT AND THEN ALIGNED INTO THE SHIFT, IT WILL PUSH THE DUMMY SHAFT THROUGH THE REAR OF THE MAIN CASE RETAINING THE BALL AND SPRING IN THE FORK.
REMOVE THE SNAP RING FROM THE CLUSTER SHAFT AND THE CLUSTER BEARING SNAP RING. USE A BEARING PULLER TO REMOVE THE BEARING FROM THE CASE AND CLUSTER GEAR.
REAR CLUSTER BEARING REMOVED. TURN UNIT OVER AND REMOVE THE BEARING RETAINER.
REMOVE THE 4 BOLTS THAT RETAIN THE FRONT CLUSTER BEARINGCOVER.
WITH A PLASTIC DEAD BLOW HAMMER, HIT THE REAR SIDE OF THE CLUSTER GEAR. THIS WILL PUSH THE BLUE FRONT COVER OUT OF THE CASE TO REMOVE IT.
ONCE THE COVER CAP IS REMOVED, USE TWO PRY BARS OR SCREW DRIVERS TO PRY THE FRONT BEARING OUT OF THE CASE. THIS WILL DROP THE CLUSTER DOWN TO ALLOW THE DRIVE SLEEVE AS­SEMBLY TO BE REMOVED.
REMOVE THE SNAP RING TO REMOVE THE SLIDER COMPONENTS.
REMOVE GEAR.
TURN THE DRIVE SLEEVE OVER AND REMOVE THE SNAP RING, AND THEN THE DRIVE SLEEVE CAN BE PRESSED OUT OF THE BEARING. REVERSE THE STEPS FOR REASSEMBLY.
