10. 1 725002 1/2" LOCK WASHER
11. 1 725030 1/2"-13 x 2-1/2" H.H.C.S.
SPECIAL NOTES:
1. All original linkage and connections must remain as illustrated.
2. New nylon ball pivot bushings have been furnished since we have experienced severe wear on the original clutch tube.
3. Grease assembly before operation.
4. Adjust linkage for proper release bearing clearance. Refer to your Jeep service manual for the adjustment procedure.
5. Both pedal and release arm springs must be re-used.
6. These kits are for all Jeep CJ models, Cherokee, and Jeep truck vehicles.

JEEP CLUTCH CONTROL MOUNTING BRKT.
1973-87 USING CHEVY V8 ENGINES
The new mounting plate bolts to the engine block using one 1/2"-13 X 2-1/2" LONG bolt and lock washer. Multiple tapped holes permit various centerline locations on vehicles 1973-87. The position varies with the transmission being used or model of original transmission being replace.
Standard distance on most bellhousings.
ORIGINAL GREASE SEAL BOOT 2 PLACES
Original parts
Pedal return spring
Original spring clips - 2 places
Some variations will occur on different bellhousings requiring shimming with 3/8" standard flat washers.
3/8"-16 X 1" H.H.C.S. for plate
Bolt goes through holes into bellhousing
3/8"-16 X 1-3/4" H.H.B. for engine block
Original pedal
Original clutch tube. It must be trapped between the pivot point so that the original spring clips can be used.
ORIGINAL BRACKET: Depending on exact engine location, this bracket may need to be spaced away from the firewall up to 1-1/2" and can be moved inward towards new engine for proper clutch tube spacing over ball pivots. This varies depending on engine position. No spacing should be required with engines offset 1/2" towards driver's side.

Original linkage
Original clutch lever return spring
Clutch release lever P/N 716176 - Other levers will not work.
Both springs must be re-used on a new V8 clutch installation.
New clutch fork wedge P/N 716139
