This bracket is designed to locate the GM slave cylinder on the Advance Adapters 712577 and 712576 bellhousings.
This bracket bolts to the bellhousing providing a mounting flange for your stock slave cylinder. This bracket is
designed to fit 1985-1991 GM slave cylinders (Napa #73117).
Our bellhousing are equipped with a clutch release arm normally used with mechanical linkages. The stock push
rod of your slave cylinder has no way of coupling to this release arm. The boot and push rod of the slave cylinder
should be removed. Remove the boot from the stock push rod. The new 3/8"-24 x 6" stud needs to replace the stock
push rod. Reinstall the threaded stud and boot on the slave cylinder. Adjust the two jam nuts to a length that sets
the wedge at the proper location for your clutch assembly. The 5/16" flat washer provided needs to be installed in
the hole location nearest the clutch arm opening under the slave cylinder bracket and then fastened with the new
3/8"-16 x 1-1/2" H.H.C.S.
