NetVanta 900 Series Breakout Panel

Quick Configuration Guide

Install Breakout Panel 1200799L48 (Rack Mounted)

The NetVanta 900 Series system is intended to be installed, maintained, and serviced by
qualified personnel only.

1. Hold the Breakout Panel front panel in place on the front right corner of the chassis and install
the two screws (see Figure 1, step a) making sure that the front panel is firmly attached to the
corner of the chassis.

2. Attach the backplane circuit board assembly to the front panel and secure it with the
remaining four screws (see Figure 1, step b). See Figure 2 for the breakout panel rack
mounting solution.

3. Remove the plastic cap from the two amphenol connectors. Attach the amphenol cables to

VOICE ports on the side of the chassis and then to the respective Breakout Panel ports.
