Operation
Plug in the 12V DC transformer. Start the unit by using
the power button on the remote or the power button on
the top of the unit. If no picture appears, use the mode
button to cycle through the available input sources.
Password
A 4-digit password is required for operations. The factory
password is “1111” and we suggest that you DO NOT
change the password unless absolutely necessary. If you
forget your password, there is no way to recover or reset
it Pressing any button on the remote will prompt the unit
to ask you for the password. the prompt is in black text in
the upper middle of the screen, so it may be difficult to see
the password prompt when displaying a dark image.
Entering Password: A correct entry will signal PASSWORD
OK, and a wrong entry will signal ERROR PASSWORD.
The password will expire after three minutes.
Setup
Open the setup menu using the SETUP button on the
remote. Navigate the menu using the up/down/right/left
arrows and the ENTER button.
Basic Setup
Check the following settings to make sure the unit is set
up to play automatically.
1. Under PHOTO SETUP turn THUMBNAIL
DIGEST to OFF
2. Under SLIDESHOW SETUP set AUTO
START to ON
Volume
Press MENU on the remote to bring up the On Screen
Display. Enter password if necessary. Use the right arrow
button to move to the icon. Press the down arrow
and select the VOLUME. Then use the left/right arrow
buttons to adjust the volume.
Preferences
Remove all media cards to enter the PREFERENCES part
of the setup menu.
WARNING - Improper insertion of a Compact Flash
card will damage the pins inside the card reader!
Compact Flash cards have grooves on opposite sides
of the card - one thick and one thin. Make sure the
card is oriented the correct way when inserting.
Also, be sure to insert the card “long” side first.
Timer
Press TIMER on the remote to access the two timer controls.
Enter password if necessary. The on/off times are matched
by color. Timer 1 is yellow, timer 2 is purple. Enter the time
in 24-hour format.
