PROPER OPERATION OF YOUR ADJUSTABLE BED IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THE
LONG LIFE AND DURABILITY YOU EXPECT FROM A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always unplug thi s adjustable bed frame fr om the electrical outlet before any cleaning or maintenan ce of
the bed frame. To safely disconnect, make sure all controls are in the off position ,then rem ove the plug from
the outlet.Keep c ord away from heated surfaces. Keep air openings free of l int, hair, debris - never oper ate
when air openings are blocked . Never drop or insert any obje ct into any opening . Use only indoors. Cease
use of this bed frame and contact th e customer service for repair if: (1) it has a damaged cord or plug, (2) it
is not working properly, (3) it has been dropped or da maged, or ( 4) it has been dropped into water.
ATTENTION FOR MOVING PARTS
Keep body parts clear of all moving parts to a void inju ry while th e product is in use. Keep moving parts clear
of obstruction during operation.
GROUNDING SAFETY
To redu ce the risk of electric shock, electri cal fire ,or faulty oper ation of this product, your adjustable bed
features a pol arized plug meant to be used only with a grounded electrical out let. If this plug d oes not fit
into your outlet, contact a qualified ele ctricia n to install a properly grounded outlet. Failure to use a properly
grounded outlet for this product will compromise this important grounding safe ty feature. The use of
adapters is not recommended unless the outlet is checked by a qualified electrician to ensure the pr oper
grounding of the adapter. Please note: Unauthorized modifications to this product co uld void the el ectrica l
portion of your warranty.
WARRANTY WARNING
Any opening or tampering with the contro l box, moto rs or hand co ntrols (with the exception of the battery
compartment if equipped) will void the warra nty. On ly tho se aut horized may conduct repairs or part
replacement on your adjustable bed.
FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY, YOUR ADJUSTABLE BED SHOULD BE PLUGGED INTO A
SURGE PROTECTOR (not supplied with this Adjustable Bed).

with TEND TYPE oxygen therapy equipment or us e near expl osive gas es.
IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE
Weight fail s afe featur e: In the c ase that an overload of weight is place d on the he ad or fo ot mechanism,
the control uni t wi ll a utomatically sto p all functions. The contr ol unit will automatically resume all fun ctions
30 second s after excess weight is removed. Weight Re strictions: Fo r people + mattress, the recommended
weight li mits on our adjustable beds are: Twin XL/Spl it CA King:70 0 pounds, FULL/Q ueen:850 pound s
Locking caster feature: This adjus table bed may be equipped with special locking casters. For your safety,
these caste rs will preve nt b ed movement w hen all casters a re in the locked position. To lock cast ers, push
down the safety lat ch o n th e ca ster. To resume product mobility, lift the safety latch up. Plese note: If you r
adjusta ble bed is positioned on a hard floor su rface such as h ardwood or til e, it is strong ly recommended
that rubb er caster cups or carpet squares are placed und er the casters in ad dition to lockin g them in place.
Casters w ill not roll when locked, but may slide on an uncar peted surface.

movement and/or exercise. This is common with any product th at produces a vibrat ing motion,and may or

PRODUCT RATINGS
Lift Motor Restrictions: The lift mo tors in thi s bed are NOT designed to operate continuously for more than
three (3) minutes over a thirty (30) minut e time peri od,or approximately 10% duty cycle .To ensure reliable
functionality and full life of this prod uct,do no t attempt to exceed these limits.
NOTE: Attempting to ci rcumvent or exce ed this rating will shorten the life expectan cy of the product an d may
void the warranty.
NOTE: Exceeding the recommended weig ht restri ctions could damage your adjustable bed and void your
warranty.
The structure of the bed will support the recommended weight wh en distributed evenly across the be d.
The head and foot sections are not designed to individually support or lift this amount of weigh t. Fo r
optimal performance, entering and exiting the adjustable bed with the bed in the flat or level position is
recommended
SMALL CHILDREN AND PETS WARNING
Immediately dispose of all packing mat erials as i t can pose a sm other risk to small children and pets. Injury
could occur also if ch ildren or pets are permitte d to play on or under the bed. Do not allow c hildren to
operate this bed without adult supervi sion.
LIFT WARNING
DO NOT SIT ON THE HEAD OR FOOT SECTIONS WHILE I N THE RAI SED POSITION,OR DURING
LIFT OR LOWERING CYCLES
MOVING AFTER INSTALLATION
Do not place adjustable bed vertically o n its head or f oot sections, This may cause injury to persons or
damage to the base. Two people are required for movi ng this bas e dut to its heavy weight.
SAFETY
In the case that an overload of weight is placed on head or foot mechanism, the control unit will
automatically stop all functions. The control unit will automatically resume all functions 30 seconds
after excess weight is removed.
·The input transformer voltage is 110-240V~, 50/60Hz,1.6A, the output voltag e is 29V 2A. In the
case of a short circuit, a f use on the transformer wi ll blow to protect the electrical equipment
(Fuse:1A-1.6A.).
Notice: The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible fo r complia nce
could void the user’s authority to operate the equipm ent.
Important Note: To comply with the FCC RF exposure complia nce requirements, no change to the ant enna
or the device is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result in the devi ce exceed ing
the exposure requirements and void user’s authority to opera te the devi ce.

Note: For safety reasons, the Adjustable Base should be lifted by two people. Always keep
the bed flat when lifting.
Unpack & Assembly of the Legs to the base (If no need)
1. Open the c arton b ox and unfold the metal bed f rame. Then open all the bo xes containing all the pa rts. If u sing
the base as a p latfo rm base, the legs do not need t o be installed. Place the legs in a sa fe place in case they are
needed in t he futu re. Place the base on your be d frame and plug the base into an outl et. plugged then your base
is now read y for use !
If needed , to tigh ten the bed legs, turn the le gs cloc kwise until tight.

How to set your Me mory Button:
1.Use Head U p and F oot U p but ton s to se t your desired position.
2.Once you r des ire d pos iti on is s et, press FLAT and Memory button at t he
same time, w hen y ou he ar th e “Be ep” s ound from control box, it means the
remote is pa ire d to th e con tro l box .
3.Press Me mor y But ton a gai n, if i t works, your desired position is now set,
please fol low t he sa me st eps t o set “ TV/PC”, “ZERO G” buttons if needed.
Sync Two Twin XL Adjustable Bases (If Needed)
1. After completing the bed legs installation, then plug the sync cord to the
specific hole of Control Box A and Control Box B as s hown;
2. Plug in the power cord, you should hear the beep sound from Box A & B.
Clear the program on Control Box A & Control Box B. To cle ar the pr ogram,
press the black button on the side of Control Box A for 3 sec onds, w hen
Clear Program
you hear the beep sound follow the same procedure to clear the pro gram
for Control Box B.
Steps:
1. Put the rem ote c los e to th e “Re mot e Pairing”
as shown.
2. When you he ar th e “be ep” s oun d, pr ess any
button on th e rem ote . You r 800 Ad jus tab le
Bases shou ld no w be pa ire d.
3. Test the 800 Adjustable Bases to ensu re th e
two bases ha ve be en pa ire d. If t hey h ave not,
then repea t ste ps 1 an d 2

3. Place remote A close to the "Remote Pairing " area on C ontro l Box A. When
you hear the "Beep" sound from Control Box A, press th e "Head U p" or "Fo ot Up"
button. If both bases are working properly, your bed s are pro perly s ynched and
will work with one remote.
REMOTE FEATURE
The Adjusta ble Bed uses a RF (Radio Frequency ) hand control system.
NOTE: This bed may show minor inte rmitt ent performance becau se of typical RF interference. This is normal
in the oper ation o f the bed, not a defect.
※ The but tons are backlit when pre ssed, to aid in the visibility of th e remote in low light environmen ts.
※ It is not necessar y to face the receiver to ope rate th e remote control. Remot e signal is best transmitted
within 9 fe et (3 met ers) of the receiver.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Provided are a list of possi ble sympto ms and their s olutions should the adjusta ble base fai l to operate p roperly.

If ther e is a po wer failure,
pleas e try t o use battery bac kup.
It is recomm end t hat y ou pu rchase 2*9V batteries and in sta ll
them in the AC/ DC ad apt er on t he Power Unit. This function
as a battery b ack up, w hic h will allow the base to adjust to t he
flat positi on, pre ss th e flat button on the remote to get the bed
flat.

Warranty for Adjusta-F lex 10 02, 1003 Base
Boyd Adj usta-Fle x warrants this adj ustable be d to the consumer who is the original pu rchaser (t he "purcha ser," subje ct
to the ter ms and condit ions set fort h he rein).Th is w arranty b egins on the "war ranty commen cement date" which is the date
of purcha se f or n ew u nused beds and the date of manufacture for beds that have been used for flo or d isplay models. Thus,
on a flo or mode l be d, the warrant y is a por tion of 1-y ear war ranty. If original pro of of purchase is not pr ovided by p urchaser,
Boyd Adj usta-Fle x reserves t he right to determine the fra me is not cove red by this wa rranty or to use the manufact uring date
as the wa rranty com mencemen t date.
FULL 1-YEAR WAR RANTY
This ad justable bed is warra nted again st defects in the wor kmanship or mater ials for a period of on e (1) year fro m the
warra nty commen cement dat e. Upon notice during the fir st year from t he warrant y commencement date, Boyd Ad justa-Fl ex
will s end repla cement pa rts (at no cost to th e purchas er) for an y defecti ve adjust able bed p art to the purchase r, and Boyd
Adjus ta-Flex will pay authorized l abor and transpo rtation cost ass ociated with the repair or replac ement of any parts Boyd
Adjus ta-Flex determi nes to be defectiv e. This one ( 1) year warranty s hall no t apply if purchas er does not return any a nd a ll
defec tive parts t o Boyd Adjust a-Flex within 15 days of purc haser's re ceipt of rep lacement part.
ADDITIONAL TERM S AND CONDITION S
This wa rranty doe s not apply; ( a) to any damages caused by the p urchaser ; (b) if there h as been any unauthorized re pair or
re placemen t of a djustable bed par ts; (c) if the adjustab le bed has be en mishandled (wh ether i n trans it or by other means),

Repai rs to or replacement of the adj ustable bed or it s co mponents under the terms o f th is limite d wa rranty will a pply to the
origi nal warran ty period an d will not ser ve to extend such p eriod. The deci sion to repa ir or replac e defective par ts under thi s
warra nty shall be m ade, or case t o be made, by Boyd Adjusta-Fle x at its optio n and in its sol e discretion.
REPAIR OR REPLACEME NT SHALL BE THE S OLE R EME DY OF THE PURCHASER, T HER E SHA LL BE NO LI ABILITY
