Installation and Setup Guide
General Information
The Communication Modules allow the control panel to communicate with the Central Station via the cellular radio network. The module connects directly to the control panel and is powered via the control panel’s connection.
Compatible Controls:
ADT7AIO/ADT5AIO Series - Installation Guide P/N 800-24121 or higher. ADTHYBWL Series - Installation Guide P/N 800-24125 or higher.
ADT2X16AIO Series – Installation Guide P/N 800-24341 or higher.
Installing the Module in the ADT7AIO/ADT5AIO or ADT2X16AIO Series
1. Affix the provided FCC/IC label (P/N 800­24286 on the control’s case back (refer to Figure 1).

2. Remove the screw securing the rear case to the front case.
3. Slide the rear case down and separate from the front case.
4. Remove the communication module access cover.
5. Insert the ADTZWM into the slot on the left side of the control as shown in Figure 2 and ensure the receptacle is securely seated on the control’s edge connector.
6. Secure the module with the provided screw.
7. Re-install the communication module access cover.
8. Install the rear case and secure with the screw.

1. Affix the provided FCC/IC label (ADTZWM, P/N 800-24286) on the ADTHYBWL cabinet (refer to Figure 3)

edge connector on the PCB (refer to Figure 4). Ensure the receptacle is securely seated on the edge connector.

Programming
1. The ADTZWM requires a router and internet service for Wi-Fi connection.
2. Programming associated with the ADTZWM module is accomplished via the MobileTech app, as part of the control panel programming. Refer to the control panel installation and setup guide for additional information.
