General Information
The Lyric-CDMA Communication Module allows the Lyric Smart Controller to communicate with the Central Station via the cellular radio network.
NOTE: Before installing the communication module, remove power from the control or use the “Install Cell” mode described in the Replacing the Module section below.

3. Insert the module into the slot. Push firmly to mate the edge connector.
4. Replace the bezel.
5. Use AlarmNet Direct to enable the Lyric-CDMA module, configure alarm reporting and module supervision, and register the module.
Replacing the Module
In the event the module needs to be replaced, the Control must first be put in module replacement (“Install Cell”) mode to avoid causing a tamper alarm.
1. Select the Install Cell button.
Security – More – Tools – enter code – Test – Install Cell)
( This mode deactivates tamper protection so the side
bezel can be removed without causing an alarm.

For the Lyric-CDMA, the external antenna must not exceed a maximum directional gain (including cable loss) of 9.3 dBi at 850 MHz and 8.2 dBi at 1900 MHz.
