Removing Cover of RAID Tower IX
Loosen the 5 screws at the back of the tower using a Philips screwdriver by turning counter-clockwise. Separate the metal casing of the tower from the housing by lifting up the casing.
Installing drives into the RAID Tower V
Step 1
Use a Philips screwdriver to secure the
3.5” SATA hard drive to the drive tray

Slide the tray into the Disk Array drive bay.
Note: It is recommended to fill up the RAID Tower IX with SATA drives from top to bottom. This is to help in identifying which drives connects to which ports for easier troubleshooting.
Note: The 5 port HPMXA system version PCB board is mounted inside the RAID tower and is connected to the multilane bridge that is mounted at the back of the RAID tower.
