I.  Mounting the Internal Micro SATA UDD on a 3.5” drive 
bay 
Using the screws provided, mount the bracket on a 3.5” drive bay 
on the system 
II. Connecting cables 
Note: When both SATA and USB connections are used, USB 
takes precedence over SATA. 
a. USB 5-pin header connection 
Connect the USB cable provided to the USB 5-pin 
header on the internal micro SATA PCB and the other 
end to the USB header on the motherboard.

Place jumper on 
Pins 1-2 (default) 
when connecting via USB 5pin header

when connecting via SATA 
b. SATA connection 
1. Transfer the jumper on J6 to pins 2-3. 
2. Connect the SATA cable provided to the SATA port  
  on the internal micro SATA PCB and the other end to 
  the SATA port on the motherboard. 
3. Connect the 4-pin floppy connector of the Y-power 
  cable provided to the 4-pin floppy power connector on 
  the internal micro SATA PCB. 
III. LED information 
When power is provided to the Internal Micro SATA UDD, the 
power LED will light up. The drive activity LED will blink when 
files are accessed and transferred on the drive.
