NOTE: A qualified service technician is any person or
representative of a company who is experienced or trained
in servicing gas equipment and is familiar with necessary
precautions.
NOTE: Read these instructions before proceeding.
This dryer has been manufactured for use with natural (city) gas.
Installation of this conversion kit converts the dryer for use with
propane gas with manifold pressure of 10½" water column and
supply pressure between 10" and 11" water column. If this dryer
is converted for use with propane gas by means of this kit, the
input rating will be 135,000 BTU’s per hour, for altitudes up to
2,000 feet. For installations above 2,000 feet, contact a qualified
service agency for derating instructions.
For technical assistance or any questions regarding this
conversion kit, please call 269-759-6044.
Caution: Label all wires prior to disconnection when
servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper
operation.

WARNING
Explosion Hazard
Use a new CSA International approved gas supply line.
Install a shut-off valve.
Securely tighten all gas connections.
If connected to propane, have a qualified person make
sure gas pressure does not exceed 13" (33 cm) water
column.
Examples of a qualified person include:
licensed heating personnel,
authorized gas company personnel, and
authorized service personnel.
Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
1. Discontinue electrical power to the dryer.
2. Close all shutoff valves in the dryer gas supply line.
3. Open top control panel to access burner assembly.
4. Disconnect gas valve wiring.
5. Loosen and remove union connection (nut) from gas supply
line.
6. Loosen and remove screws from the bracket that are holding
the gas valve/manifold assembly in the dryer.
7. Unscrew main burner orifice from the manifold and replace
with the white dot marked propane orifice provided. Securely
tighten orifice.
IMPORTANT: Use care when removing and replacing the
orifice. The orifice is made of brass, which is easily damaged.
8. Remove the regulator cover screw. See Figure 2.
9. Insert the spring (provided in the White Rodgers Conversion
Kit Packet # 92-0737 included in this kit) through the hole in
the center of the plastic regulator adjustment screw.
10. Insert the blocking pin (provided in the White Rodgers
Conversion Kit Packet # 92-0737 included in this kit) down
into the center of the spring.
11. Replace the regulator cover screw.
12. Verify that the orifice installed in the valve has a white dot on
it’s face, and then apply the valve converted to propane label
(P/N WFR114132) to the gas control as shown in Figure 2.
13. Attach the small round LP label (provided in the White
Rodgers Conversion Kit Packet # 92-0737 included in this kit)
to the top of the regulator cover screw.
14. Complete information on Propane conversion kit labels
(P/NWFR114083 and WFR114090) and apply in a
conspicuous location adjacent to model/serial tag.
15. Affix the Propane conversion label (P/N WFR115725) to the
dryer’s model/serial label as indicated on instruction sheet
(P/N WFR115728).
16. Install the valve/manifold assembly and bracket in the dryer,
replace the screws, tighten the union connection (nut) to the
gas supply line, and reattach the gas valve wiring.
