Universal Wall and Ceiling Mount Installation Instructions
Thank you for selecting the MultiMount MM-010 speaker-mounting kit. This kit
contains one pair of speaker mounts that position speakers weighing up to 25 lbs
(11.5 kg) from most wall and ceiling structures. In addition, this design may be
attached to the top, back or bottom of most speaker enclosures.
Warning:
Mounting and/or rigging loudspeakers requires experienced professionals.
Improperly installed loudspeakers can result in property damage,
personal injury, death and/or liability to the installing contractor.
To assure a trouble free installation, read through and follow these instructions

consult a structural and/or hardware specialist.
Be sure that all of the following items are included in this kit before
proceeding:

Note to Installing contractor:
Due to the wide variety of wall structures, materials and
mounting methods, these instructions assume that the
installing contractor will exercise proper judgment in selecting
the mounting area and hardware.
As a guide, the installation, when complete should be capable
of supporting 5 to 10 times the actual applied load. Also, use
a back up safety system such as a safety cable.
Step 1:
A. Wall Mount
To enable the pan angle option, attach the wall mounting
plate with the open center slot towards the ceiling using the
appropriate hardware for the wall structure
To disable the pan angle option, attach the wall mounting plate to the
wall with the open center slot towards the floor using the appropriate
hardware for the wall structure
B. Ceiling Mount:
Predetermine the desired direction of the speaker, and then mount the wall
mounting plate with the open center slot towards the direction of the
speaker.

If you have doubts about the integrity of the structure
(Figure 1A).

Step 2: Attach Mount to Speaker
Attach the speaker mount to the appropriate mounting holes of the
speaker. Use the radius slot if necessary to allow for a clockwise rotation
(Figure 2). If threaded inserts are not provided, consult the speaker
manufacturer for the recommended mounting procedure.
Step 3:
Lift the assembled speaker and mount and insert the support arm into
the top of the wall mounting plate. Line up the threaded hole of the
support arm with the open slot for pan angle installation (Figure 1A) or to the
second barrel hole for no pan angle installation (Figure 1B). Install the included
socket screw and flat washer until snug. Be sure the flat washer seats outside the
slot.
Step 4: Pan Angle Adjustment:
Loosen socket screw on the wall mounting plate (do not remove). Pivot the speaker
horizontally until the speaker is aimed into the desired direction then tighten the
socket screw at the mounting plate permanently
Step 5: Tilt Angle Adjustment:
While supporting the speaker’s weight, loosen the socket screw on the side of the
speaker adapter plate (do not remove). Tilt the speaker to the desired tilt angle the
retighten the side socket screw of the speaker adapter plate. Be sure that the
screws have been tightened permanently before releasing the weight of the
speaker (Figure 3).
