Loading XTA Presets

Contained within, you will nd instructions on correctly loading XTA Presets from Adamson’s V40
Library. Any and all further questions should be directed to the following:

Section A

Connect to XTA Unit

1. On the front panel of the XTA unit, press “Menu” --> Scroll to “Interface Sub-Menu” and
press “Enter” --> Press “Enter” at “PC Interface Setup” --> Set your Interface to either RS232
or RS485, depending on your method of connection --> Set Baud Rate of your preferred
method of connection.

2. Physically connect the XTA unit to your control PC and access the Device Manager
through the Control Panel on your PC.

3. Go to “Ports (COM & LPT)” in the Device Manager and double-click on the active connec­tion (Note which COM Port it has defaulted to) --> Select the “Port Settings” tab on the COM
port properties page --> Adjust the “Bits Per Second” eld to match the Baud Rate previous­ly set on the XTA.

4. Start AudioCore --> Under “Remote” menu, select active connection and set the correct
COM port and Baud Rate.

Load Presets

1. File --> New --> Build System from Connected Units

2. The software will scan all available IDs. Once your device is located, choose “Get Current
Settings Only”

3. The device will now show up on the main page of AudioCore

4. Right-Click on the background of your device --> Modify Device --> Click “Load Preset”
or “Presets..” depending on the device used

5. Choose .XBL le (device type of XBL le must match the device you are

currently using

6. Choose the specic preset you wish to recall to the device

7. Right-Click on the background of your device --> Store Memory --> Input & Xover -->
Choose open memory slot --> Store --> Name Preset
