• When you press the accelerator pedal, the system can provide slight
resistance to prevent you from applying excessive throttle to the accelerator.
Usually, the feedback is unnoticeable while driving.
• As a result, this can yield better fuel efficiency and provide traction control
while driving on slippery roads.
• The system also can provide slight resistance through the accelerator during
operation of Forward Collision Warning (see page 24) or the Collision
Mitigation Braking System (see page 25).
• Reactive force pedal is off in Sport mode.

the brake pedal and come
to a complete stop. The
HOLD indicator appears and
brake hold is applied.
Release the brake pedal.
Press the accelerator pedal
to cancel brake hold and
start moving.
4. Press the brake pedal and
press BRAKE HOLD again to
turn off the system.

Note: Brake hold is canceled if the system is on for more than 10 minutes, your seat
belt is unfastened, or you turn the vehicle off.
