OPERATION RESULT
WELCOME MESSAGE
The FBE420 displays a welcome message,
visible by the patron, when entering the bus,
provides information concerning fare or any
other relevant data. The different operation can
be selected by four switches located near the
patron display
PAYMENTS WITH BILL OR COINS
Once a bank bill or coins is inserted, the
FBE420 verifies its validity and checks if it
belongs to the list of authorized bills or coins:
- Banknotes: $1, $5, $10, $20
- Coins: 1c, 5c, 10c, 25c, $1
Any bill or coins not belonging to the list of
authorized bills or coins is given back to the
patron. Another banknote can be inserted as
soon as the refused bill is removed by the patron.
When the payment is accepted, the FBE420
delivers a magnetic transportation ticket.
CARD RELOADING
When the payment is accepted and the
transportation card is presented, the
FBE420 reads the data stored on this one
and performs the reloading operations.
TICKETS VALIDATION
When entering the bus, the patron must
validate its transportation ticket:
- By inserting the magnetic tickets into the
FBE420 front slot
- By presenting the contactless card on the
FBE420 top target.
A display, a green and red indicator are
located on the top of the housing to indicate
whether the operation is correct or not.
This information is associated with a
specification sound.
PAYMENTS WITH CARDS
Once the credit card is read by the swipe reader,
the FBE420 verifies its validity and processes
payments
