1. Introduction to AR-ES0896
The AR-ES0896 is a system product mainly for ticket control, navigation, advertising,
fleet managements applications. With fanless-design & powerful Intel CPU core,
AR-ES0896 can satisfy the users requirement in any application environment.
AR-ES0896 has diverse physical interface in the front panel, such as 2*10/100 LAN
connectors, build-in LEDs, 2 USB Ports, VGA Port, S-Video Port , Video jack ,K/B and
Mouse PS2 , six console ports, LVDS/Print port (Option), power switch, MIC, speaker &
line in. In addition, the system provides the capacity for extending I/O device by adding
DRAM, CF card depending on users needs. Besides, the users also can have wireless
module with antenna installed into this system.

2. Procedure of Assembly/Disassembly
2-1 Installing the 2.5”Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
The following are instruction for installation.
1. Remove the cover screws (6pcs)
2. Installing rubber on the HDD bracket (4pcs)

3. Lock HDD and Bracket by screws (4pcs)
4. Insert HDD cable to HDD
5. Place HDD into HDD bracket
6. Lock bracket to top case by screws

The following are instruction for installation.
Install SO-DIMM1 and CF card
1. Remove bottom door screws (2pcs)
2. Install CF card
3. Install SO-DIMM
4. Lock bottom door by screws
