Ins tallation Proce dure
Firs t ins tall th e Trave le r softw are from th e MO TU cdrom by follow ing th is proce dure :
1) Inse rt cd into com pute r cd drive and click on My Com pute r to ope n th e cd.
2) O pe n "Fire w ire , USB2 Audio" folde r, th e n 32-bit fire w ire folde r.
3) D ouble -click on Se tup.e xe .
4) Five drive rs w ill be installe d.
5) Re m ove th e cd from th e com pute r and re boot.
6) Conne ct th e Trave le r and th e n turn it on.
7) Th e "Found Ne w H ardw are " w indow w ill pop up. (If th e h ardw are w izard doe s not
re cognize th e h ardw are as MO TU, th e n th e s oftw are m ay not h ave be e n installe d
prope rly.)
8) Th e w izard w ill ask "Can W indow s conne ct to W indow s Update to s e arch for
softw are ? Ans w e r "No, not th is tim e ".

ch ange s from th e Trave le r de fault se ttings are th at th e m ic input ch anne ls , inputs 1-4
are se t w ith + 12 dB gain. Th is can be ve rifie d by pre ssing th e input gain for e ach
ch anne l once . Th e gain s e tting w ill appe ar on th e Trave le r dis play.
If you w ant to ve rify th at th e Trave le r is se t corre ctly, you can re load th e Studio Pre s e t.
