Model RMD

Provides heavy duty ventilation of
atmospheres containing flammable or
explosive vapors, gases, or dusts (per NEC

500). These fans have a heavy steel circular
frame with ample mounting holes and a
fixed-position motor base attached to rigid
tubular supports and spark resistant aluminum
fan blades.

Motors are 115 VAC, 60 Hz or 115/230 VAC),
single phase Class I, group D and Class II,
groups E, F, and G applications.

for installation Type A, Free Inlet and Fan sone levels.

to the original purchaser and warrants that products
described herein shall be free from original defects in
workmanship and materials for two years from date
of shipment (except forAcme’s exclusive duplexsplit
pillow block bearings and shaft 5 years from ship
ment, belts one year from shipment, and polyethyl
ene tubingat 90 daysfrom shipping), provided same
have been properly handled, stored, installed, ser
viced, maintained and operated. Refer to Form
MS149 for complete limited warrantyterms and con
ditions. This form is available to anyone at
www.acmefan.com. The Company's warranty is in
lieu of all otherwarranties, express or implied, arising
by law or otherwise, including without limitation the
implied warrantiesof merchantability and fitnessfor a
particular purpose, which are hereby expressly dis
claimed claimed and waived.

provide reliable performance but they are not guar
anteed to be 100% free of defects. Even reliable
products will experience occasional failures and this
possibility should be recognized by the Purchaser
and EndUser. If these products areused in alife sup
port ventilation system where failure could result in

­loss or injury, the Purchaser and End User should

­provide adequate back-up ventilation, supplemen

tary natural ventilation or failure alarm system, or ac

­knowledge willingness to accept the risk of such loss

or injury.

RONMENTS where fan’s electrical system could
provide ignition to combustible or flammable materi
als unless unitis specifically built for hazardous envi
ronments. Comply with all local and national safety

codes including the National Electrical Code (NEC)
and National Fire Protection Act (NFPA). Guards

or when deemed advisable for safety.
