The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the
product's enclosure that may be of suffici ent mag nitud e
to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in
the literature accompanying the appliance.

Caution
Disconnect the electrical plug to shut off power
completely. The POWER on the unit is not off from the
electrical plug when the POWER button on the front
panel is not pressed in.

9. Do not defea t the safety purp ose of the polari zed or
grounding-t ype plug. A polarize d plug has two blad es with
one wider than th e other. A grounding ty pe plug has two
blades and thir d grounding p rong. The w ide blade or the
third prong are p rovided for y our safety. If the provided p lug
does not fit into your outlet, c onsult an elect rician for
replacement o f the obsolet e outlet.
10. Protect the p ower cord fro m being walked on o r pinched
particularl y at plugs, con venience rece ptacles, an d the
point where the y exit from the a pparatus.
11. Only use a ttachments and accessori es specified by t he
manufacture r.
12. Use only with t he cart, stan d, tripod,
bracket, or tab le specifie d by the

20. Replaceme nt Parts
When replacem ent parts are r equired, be sur e the service
technician ha s used replac ement parts spe cified by the
manufacture r or have the sam e characteris tics as the
original part . Unauthori zed substitut ions may resu lt in fire,
electric shoc k, or other haz ards.
21. Safety Chec k
Upon completi on of any servi ce or repairs to th is product,
ask the service t echnician t o perform safet y checks to
determine tha t the product i s in proper opera ting
condition.
22.Wa ll or Ceiling M ounting
The product sho uld be mounte d to a wall or ceilin g only as
recommended b y the manufac turer. Any mounting of t he
product shoul d follow the ma nufacturer in struction s, and
should use a moun ting access ory recommend ed by the
manufacture r.
23. Wet loc ation marking
Apparatus sha ll not be expos ed to dripping or s plashing
and no objects fi lled with liq uids, such as vas es, shall be
placed on the app aratus.
24. Outdoor Antenn a Grounding
If an outside ant enna or cable s ystem is connec ted to the
product, be sur e the antenna o r cable system is g rounded
so as to provide so me protecti on against volt age surges
and built-up st atic charge s. Article 810 of th e National
Electrical Co de, ANSI/NFPA 70, provide s information w ith
regard to prope r grounding o f the mast and supp orting
structure, grounding of th e lead-in wire to a n antenna
discharge uni t, size of grou nding conduct ors, locati on of
antenna disch arge unit, co nnection to gro unding
electrodes, a nd requirem ents for the grou nding elect rode.

15. This prod uc t should be ope rated only from t he type of
power source in dicated on th e marking label . If you are not
sure of the typ e of power supply t o your home, cons ult your
product deale r or local powe r company. For products
intended to ope rate from bat tery power, or oth er sources,
refer to the op er ating instr uctions.
16. Protectiv e Att achment Plug
The product is eq uipped with a n attachment pl ug having
overload prot ection. This is a safety f eature. See
Instructi on M anual for rep lacement or res etting of
protective de vice. If repl acement of the pl ug is require d, be
sure the servic e technicia n has used a replac ement plug
specified by th e manufactu rer that has the sa me overload
protection as t he original p lug.
17. Power Lin es
An outside ante nna system sh ould not be locat ed in the
vicinity of ove rhead power l ines or other ele ctric light o r
power circuit s, or where it ca n fall into such po wer lines or
circuits. Whe n installin g an outside ante nna system,
extreme care sh ould be taken t o keep from touch ing such
power lines or ci rcuits as con tact with them mi ght be fatal.
25. Servicing
If your product i s not operati ng correctly or e xhibits a
marked change i n performan ce and you are unab le to
restore norma l operation b y following the d etailed
procedure in it s operating i nstructions , do not attemp t to
service it your self as opera ting instruct ions, do not at tempt
to service it you rself as open ing or removing c overs may
expose you to dan gerous volt age or other haza rds. Refer
all servicing t o qualified s ervice person al.
