Accton introduces the VM1188T 802.11b/g SIP
WiFi Phone to provide Enterprise with an intelligent solution for Voice over WLAN. With the
compliance of IEEE 802.11b/g and latest SIP
protocol, the VM1188T can roam between the
Enterprise head quarter and branch offi ce with
the same extension number.

Through the revolutionary design, the
VM1188T use only one single chip to power
the voice engine and codec, and it only require
low power consumption so user can talk longer
without recharging the phone.
The VM1188T also provides user with rich
phone features such as call transfer/hold/forward, caller ID, dial from call history and store
phone book/local contact. With the easy-to-use
graphical user interface, the VM1188T can enable call features with just a push of the button.

Open Standard SIP v2 Support
The voice signaling of VM1188T is based on
SIP v2 open standard, which is interoperable
with major SIP-based call servers, IP-PBXs
and other standard SIP-based client devices.
Enhanced Power Saving Design for
Extended Standby and Talk Time
With an improved power-saving mechanism,
the VM1188T can be used for a relatively
long period of standby and talk time. With
an extended life for each recharge cycle, the
VM1188T is available where and when you
need it.
Industrial Standard 802.11b/g and
VoIP compatibility
The VM1188T will allow users to achieve
mobility with the support of 802.11b/g wireless
standard. With the support 802.11b/g the
VM1188T will not slow down network throughput while running in a pure 802.11g wireless
environment. With the advance wireless
feature the VM1188T can also provide users
with mobility.
Wireless Network Security
The VM1188T supports WEP, WPA/WPA2-
PSK, TKIP and AES. With WEP, WPA and
WPA2 the VM1188T is designed to provide the
same level of security as that of a wired LAN.
Wireless Multimedia Support
(WMM/802.11e)
The WMM provides the QoS mechanism to de-
liver the real time application packet with higher
priority. The WMM will recognize the Types of
Service (TOS) fi eld of the IP frame to assign
the priority for the IP frames. With the support
of WMM the VM1188T can provide a higher
priority for voice packet when in combination
with WMM enabled AP and will ensure a better
voice quality.
