JUNO SMARTLITE ALARM CLOCK

MODEL 14843 & 14847X OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

SMARTLITE SENSOR

FEATURES:

1. Jumbo LCD display 2. Smartlite technology 3. Green backlight 4. Alarm with snooze

TO ACTIV ATE THE CLOCK

Requires 3 x AA batteries

1. Remove the battery cover located at the base of the clock.

2. Insert 3 x AA alkaline batteries observing the polarity symbols indicated inside the compartment.

3. Replace the battery cover. See battery information below for more details.

SETTING THE TIME

1. Slide the mode switch to the "T.SET" position.

2. Press the hour button to advance the display to the desired hour.

3. Press the minute button to advance the display to the desired minutes. Ensuring that you have set AM/PM correctly. The PM icon will appear on the display for PM time only.

4. Slide the mode switch to the "LOCK" position once the time setting is complete.

SETTING THE ALARM TIME

1. Slide the mode switch to the "AL SET" position.

2. Press the hour button to advance the display to the desired alarm hour.

3. Press the minute button to advance the display to the desired alarm minute. Ensuring that you have set AM/PM correctly. The PM icon will appear on the display for PM time only.

4. Slide the mode switch to the "LOCK" Position once the alarm time setting is complete.

TO TURN ON/OFF THE ALARM

1. Slide the ALARM switch to the "ON" position. The alarm symbols " " & " Zz " will appear on the display.

2. The alarm will activate at the preset time.

3. Slide the ALARM switch to the "OFF" position to shut off the alarm... OR

4. Press the Snooze/Light button once and the alarm will stop and sound again after approximately 5 minutes.

BACKLIGHT

1. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to light up the display for 5 seconds.

NOTE: Frequent use of the light will drain the batteries more quickly.

SMARTLITE

This clock incorporates new technology called "SMARTLITE ". In a dark environment or when the LIGHT SENSOR is covered, the display will stay illuminated. In a bright environment, the Smartlite will shut OFF to prolong battery life.

BATTERY INFORMATION

- The batteries should be replaced if the display or alarm becomes weak.

- It is recommended that you replace the battery annually, even if the product is still running.

- Do not mix new or used batteries, different types or brands.

- Only use AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries in this clock.

- Please dispose of used batteries in a responsible manner.

YOUR GUARANTEE

Your clock is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against any faults arising from defective materials or manufacture. Damage caused through careless handling, misuse or in transit is expressly excluded. Should this clock fail within 12 months please return it in the first instance to your retailer.

MAINTENANCE

A soft cloth may be used to clean your clock. Do not use any corrosive cleaner or chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid any problems.

Do not dispose of this product with household waste. For the proper treatment, recovery and recycling please take this product to the appropriate collection point. If you are unsure of where this is contact your local authority. Improper disposal may be harmful to the environment.
