ODERN Tool Rooms are called upon to grind large pieces to
M
close tolerances. Only the most precise tools will do this type of work economically. With this in mind, ABRASIVE designed and built two sizes which meet most of the requirements as regards capacity, and which meet all the requirements for accuracy.
In several of the best known Tool Rooms in this Country, the No. 5 and No. 6 ABRASIVES

!
ABRASIVES are well known to the trade for their high quality
of materials and workmanship. No expense is spared in attempting
to build the finest. Low operating and maintenance costs are char
acteristics we are proud of.
Every precaution is taken to exclude abrasive dust from working
parts of the machines.
All
controlling levers and hand wheels are located in positions
most natural for the operator, and may be operated while standing
in one
spot.
Ownership of one of these fine tools is to enjoy a remarkably
large return on an investment.

Exhauster Attachment
Where dry grinding predominates it is tial to dispose health of employees, and injurious to surrounding machinery.
The attachment illustrated collects fully 90% of
this dust.
The Exhauster is of fan rotates on Norma ball bearings at 3,500 R.P.M. A 3" flexible metal reinforced suction hose connects suction nozzle with the exhauster.
The dust is blown into a centrifugal separator and
collected in a detachable can at apex

Wet Grinding Attachment
Also Illustrating Motor Drive
It is frequently necessary to grind work under water, to prevent possibility of drawing the surface temper. The attachment shown is most efficient for this purpose.
The Centrifugal Pump is constantly primed. A portable Sediment Tank arrests the metal and wheel particles before they reach the main reservoir in machine base, thus keeping water comparatively clean.
Adjustable table guards confine wheel spray and prevent spattering of water.
