The JAB Daylight

The JAB Daylight LED xture in AAdynTech’s JAB Series lineup is one of the most sought after lighting xtures on

the market for good reason. Whether for Broadcast ENG remote eld production, xed studio installation, live sports

coverage, video shoots or lm, the JAB Daylight provides a wealth of practical benets and features ideally suited

to a wide range of lighting applications. Weighing in at only 19 lbs., its small compact footprint allows for an ease

of transport for on-the-go lighting assignments. An unmatched output of better than 2, 500 foot-candles at 10 ft.

combined with a maximum current draw of a mere 1.77 amps at full brightness means savings up to 90% A /C energy

usage. If that weren’t enough; the xture can be operated on 28.8v DC battery power for situations where conventional

A/C supply is problematic or non-existent.

Unlike HMI xtures, the JAB Daylight generates minimal heat and no harmful UV or IR emissions - an important safety

consideration for both talent and crew. The xture is self-contained with an auto-ranging universal power supply

requiring no heavy, expensive ballast, head cables or replacement lamps. The Daylight boasts fan-less convection

cooling and icker-free operation up to 12,000 frames per second. As with all AAdynTech xtures; instant ‘ON’ ensures

no warm-up wait time on set - ever. The Daylight comes equipped with specially designed holographic lenses that

provide optical eciency by creating a single light source, eectively eliminating multiple shadows. These four quick-

change lenses vary the beam angle for very narrow, narrow, medium or ood while maintaining a at, even eld.

There are several control possibilities; built-in UIM, DMX with DMX loop-thru, or the optional illuminated UIM Digital

Remote. A heav y-duty yoke is standard. Accessory options include; barn doors, road cases, speed rings, light banks

and more. The JAB Daylight is available standalone, or as several full Kit versions coupled with varying accessories and

housed in a molded ATA Mil-spec rolling case. The remarkable versatility of the A AdynTech JAB Daylight truly puts it

into a class of its own.
