Introduction
Thank you for choosing the P Series speakers system. Extensive design and engineering effort
has gone into the development process to make them the most stylish and high performing
speakers that augment today's finest flat screen monitors. They answer the real need for small,
exquisite, yet high performance speakers with extraordinary sound quality that rival or
exceed that produced by far larger and more intrusive designs. With proper care and by
following instructions on the manual, these speakers will provide you with a long time of
enjoyment on music and the most realistic home theater experience. The extraordinary sound
and build quality of the P speakers can be contributed to each and every components used.
Cabinet
Apart from being unabashedly stylish, the P speaker cabinet enclosures are made of the
highest grade CNC processed aluminum pieces to achieve maximum rigidity and lowest
resonance. The enclosure itself is also precisely shaped to increase the aluminum
extrusion's already excellent rigidity. It enables you to hear just the audio signal itself, and
not the cabinet's extraneous contribution.
Drivers
Proprietary, small sized multiple bass/midrange drivers are used on the P speakers. These
small metal cone units feature 1” multiple-layer voice coils and neodymium magnets for
high power handling. The center-mounted silk-dome tweeter is also built to higher
standards than you would ordinarily expect. Here, the multi-layer voice coil/neodymium
magnet motor is augmented with ferrofluid, a highly viscous suspension of magnetic
particles in a sophisticated lubricant that damps spurious response for better sound while it
dissipates heat to increase reliability.
Crossovers
The crossover is precisely engineered to make the most of the drivers. On the P6, multiple
filter sets let all six bass/midrange drivers handle deeper bass while gradually limiting
higher frequencies to those drivers closets to the tweeter. The P2 circuit uses moderate slope
at 3 kHz, which helps optimize the P2's tonal balance. Specifically designed with a 10-Ohm
input impedance, the P2 network minimizes the potentially harmful effect of long runs of
speaker wire, a common situation when the P2 is used for surround applications.
Finest electronic components are chosen to deliver the purest sound quality with least
resistance.

Caution: Unpacking & Handling
Though being small in size, the P speakers have proportionally substantial weight. Cabinets
are made from aluminum with delicate surface finish to ensure the most refined look. Please
handle with care when unpacking and try not to cause any scratch marks on the
aluminum surface from hard objects.

Placement
Front speakers - Front speakers should be mounted on wall, close to both sides of TV screen.
Center speaker - Center speaker should be mounted immediately with closest distance
possible to the TV screen. This position ensures perfect integration between picture and
sound, thus the optimum and realistic experience.
Note: For best integrated sound effect, tweeter position of front and center speaker should
be at the same level, i.g. all three tweeters are at the same distance above floor.
Rear speakers - The “surround” speaker position is an important element in achieving a
realistic home theater experience. Mount rear speaker on side walls in line with the listening
position, or on the back wall, no move than 6.5 feet (2M) above floor. Please ensure the
speakers are not too far from listening position or the effect will diminish. Before mounting
brackets on walls, you may try to move the rear speakers on different locations to get the
best “feel” of surround effect.
Subwoofer - The PSW-1 subwoofer is designed aesthetically to be placed on the floor in
front of the TV screen, or on the bottom shelf of your entertainment rack. When place below
a rack at this more “hidden” position, make sure you adjust all functions on back panel at
desired position first.

Wall Mounting Instructions
Each P speaker is equipped with a wall mounting bracket. One of the two parts from this
bracket is pre-installed on the back of the cabinet. Please refer to diagram below.

Connection
Note: Amplifier should be switched off and disconnected from power while you are
connecting speakers to amplifier. Turn your amplifier on only after you check and make
sure speakers are properly connected.
Connections are made at the terminals located on the back of the loudspeaker system. The
terminals accept spade plugs, bare wire or banana plugs.
Locate the Front Speaker, Center Speaker and Rear Speaker terminals on your AV amplifier.
For each channel, the RED terminal and the BLACK terminal on the speaker must be
connected to the corresponding RED (+) and BLACK (-) loudspeaker connections on the
amplifier. Make sure you follow this + to + and to connecting method so the speakers are
working in phase for best bass response and imaging.
Please use highest quality speaker cables with shortest distance from speaker to amplifier to
ensure least resistance and signal lost.
Turn amplifier power on only after you check to make sure all connections are made
correctly.
Subwoofer Instructions
The P speakers must be used in combination with a subwoofer to have bass performance and
provide full impact from motion pictures. For best integration and smooth transition, use
PSW-1 subwoofer for your system. For operating instructions on the PSW-1, please refer to
its separate manual.

General Care
When cleaning the P speakers, use clean, lint free and slightly damped soft cloth to
remove surface dust from cabinets. Use a very clean and dry soft cloth to carefully
remove dust from drivers. Make sure there are no abrasive particles in the cloth, or
they may leave scratch marks on cabinets or cause damage on drivers. As tweeter is
very fragile, take great care not to touch the dome area in the middle. Blow dust off
lightly by air if necessary.
Never use any solutions with chemical ingredient to clean the speakers.
Warranty Information
The P Series speakers come with warranty period of 3 years, starting from the date of
purchase. This warranty is provided to original owner, and covers defect in materials
or workmanship that occurs in normal use. This warranty excludes damage that
results from abuse, mis-use, accidents, shipping, or repairs or modifications by
anyone other than authorized representatives. The warranty is void if serial
number has been removed.
Should you need service on your speakers, please bring it to the dealer whom you pur-
chased from along with sales slip.
