Overview:
tm
The MyoLift Mini is a FDA cleared, non-invasive, portable facial toning device
intended for professional use. This battery-operated device delivers low-level,
electrical microcurrent impulses to strategic locations on the face to improve
the facial tone for a more youthful appearance. The unique double-tipped
probe applicators, designed for optimal contact with faces of all shapes and
sizes, emits a gentle electrical current which continually alternate between the
tm
positive and negative spheres. The MyoLift Mini device allows you to adjust the
current output from 0 to 400 microamps, as per the client comfort level.
tm
For your MyoLift Mini device to operate properly, the skin needs optimum
moisture content. Therefore, it is important to first spray the RePlenish Conductive
Spritzer onto the skin followed by the 7E Conductive Tx Gel to the areas to be
treated. Following the natural contours of the face, simply maneuver the probes
across the skin prior to beginning the treatment to spread the gel.
tm
Regular use of the MyoLift Mini device will provide your client with increased
facial strength and tone, while maintaining a more vibrant appearance.

Page 10
Introduction to Microcurrent:
Non-invasive facial treatments have grown in popularity over the last 20 years
because of their results and ease-of-use in the day & medical spas. Microcurrent,
for the face, is another example of a procedure which began as a medical
treatment but, has now been adapted for use in the cosmetic marketplace. It is
the only effective aesthetic treatment available for facial toning and long-lasting
results without the aid of a medical device.
tm
The MyoLift Mini skin treatment uses microcurrent technology. The use of
microcurrent treatments, in your skin therapy regimen, will establish visible results.
This gentle, non-aggressive, non-invasive and progressive treatment results in skin
tightening, toning and firming. In fact, the results from microcurrent facial toning
are so dramatic that they are often referred to as “non-surgical face lifts."
With age, the muscles loose ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) which is the energy of
the skin cells and muscle tissue. The skin starts to fall and expression lines begin to
develop, like the furrow between the eyebrows. On the other hand, the muscles
on our face that are not used often begin to atrophy, which leads to sagging.
Sagging around the jaw lines, chins and neck are some of the examples where
muscle definition is lost as we age. Microcurrent is considered to be an all natural
solution to anti-aging.
2
Page 11
How Does It Work?
tm
The MyoLift Mini devices uses low-levels of safe, painless electrical impulses
to the muscles in the face and neck. The overly-tightened muscles relax and
under-worked muscles regain their strength. In essence, microcurrent facial
toning re-educates the facial muscles and restores them back almost to their
original shape. When this happens the visible results are quite dramatic and the
face is lifted, firmed and toned back to a much more youthful appearance. At
the same time, the microcurrent improves circulation that stimulates production
of collagen, improves tone and texture, and improves or eliminates fine lines.
tm
MyoLift Mini facial toning is cumulative, which means that the more treatments
the client has, the more improvement they will see in their face and for longer
period of time.
tm
MyoLift Mini for facial lifting, tightening and toning is a great alternative to a
facelift since it is non-invasive, does not require any recovery time, gives instant
results and does not have the same potential for harmful complications as
surgery does.

Page 15
Applicator Overview:
The device comes with a set of applicators often referred to as probes. The
double-tipped probes must make direct and constant contact with the skin, as
both the probes together complete the circuit required for the treatment. The
two specially designed probes are manipulated over the surface of the skin in a
precise way to stimulate the different muscles requiring treatment. To enhance
ease of use, each probe has a separate cable, which will be connected to the
output socket.
The conductivity bar on the device's LCD screen will become solid black
confirming that the microcurrent is conducting evenly through the skin.

MyoLift Mini Treatment:
Facial muscles create chronic movement in the face and are used minute by
minute. Facial muscles begin losing elasticity due to the overuse of movement
in one direction. Facial muscles need exercise to keep healthy and lifted as much
as the muscles of the body.
tm
Note: MyoLift Mini utilizes double-tipped probe applicators with a flexible handle
designed. True microcurrent is delivered with the pinch-and-hold technique
on the different size muscles by grasping the muscle in-between the probe
applicators.
There is no pain associated with this type of treatment. A slight tingling sensation
may be felt with the initial treatment. Most people report a feeling of relaxation
and an increase in energy following the treatment.
16
Page 25
7E Signature Movements
During the aging process (35 years and up) the muscles go through
noticeable changes.
Re-educating the muscle to its original location is achieved by understanding
tm
the origin and insertion of the muscles and applying the MyoLift Mini
signature movement techniques.
Visible muscle changes with aging includes: loose, droopy, soft muscles and
loss of rmness.
The muscle and fascia may become tight and create the formation of ne
lines that will eventually turn into wrinkles.
Therefore, it is understood that in-order to re-establish the muscles integrity,
shape and lifted appearance, one must understand if the muscles need to be
lengthened or shortened and the direction of the movement.
LENGTHENING (Erase Setting) - Muscles that need to be relaxed need to be
lengthened. This is generally applied for the thinner skin tissue such as around
the eyes, lips and forehead areas. The movement is executed by starting on
the forehead area, with the probes together and pull apart in the MyoLift
tm
Mini signature Pinch and Hold.
SHORTENING (Educate Setting) - The shortening of the muscle tightens the
Golgi Tendon and allows for a tightening effect to the loose skin or facial
muscles that have become elongated. The movement is executed by
nd
placing one probe stationary and the 2 probe moving towards the
stationary probe

Standard Instructions:
Follow these treatment steps for the best results:
Get acquainted with microcurrent and its effects.
Review the contraindications and precautions listed in this manual.
A longer hold of the probe applicators is needed around challenging areas.
Repeat multiple passings to deliver more microcurrent energy around
challenging areas for better results.
Rule of thumb: To deliver the maximum true microcurrent to the area, the
pinch and hold movement is used with the skin in-between the two double-
tipped probe applicators. Hold for three to five seconds to get the best
results.

The frontalis works with assistance from the occipitalis to raise the eyebrows or
draw scalp forward. Better known as expression lines, the movement leading to
an expression stimulates the forehead muscles but results increase that hampers
the smooth blood vessels flow. Microcurrent exercises these muscles leading to
smoothing out the expression lines and to relax the muscle of the forehead.
Forehead:
Place the stationary probe applicator just outside the hairline at the top of
the forehead.
Place the moving probe applicator just over the eyebrow and pull the probe
up towards the stationary probe at the top of the forehead.

Middle of the face:
The muscles in the middle portion of the face lead to expressions more voluntary
than the upper portion. When it comes to middle of the face, muscles like the
masseter, buccinator, temporalis are at work, including the zygomatic major and
minor. These muscles assist the face in chewing food, smile and whistle as well
as retraction and elevation of the mandible or jawbone. The zygomatic major is
the facial muscle for expressions and elevating the mouth when a person smiles,
while the zygomatic minor is for healthy appearance of the face. To remove the
sagging in the middle of the face, Microcurrent treatment is needed to contract,
tightening up any slackness in the cheek area.
Place the stationary probe applicator on the back of the cheek muscle and
place the moving probe applicator at an angle inside of the nasolabial fold
using firm pressure sliding towards the stationary probe applicator.
When you reach the stationary probe applicator, hold movement for 3–5

Eyes:
The area around the eyes is surrounded by numerous fine, narrow muscles that
support the skin which is particularly fragile. The lines can be caused by sunglasses,
tm
eyeglasses, migraines and sleeping on stomach. The MyoLift Mini Microcurrent
device stimulates the muscles around the eye to improve the circulation in the
peripheral blood vessels. The enhanced blood circulation leads to decrease in
sagging skin and rejuvenation of the skin.
