150L AIR COMPRESSOR
Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be returned to the Supplier for repair. Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as les stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of repair, some or all your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specications.
If at any time you feel your repair is being handled unsatisfactorily, you may escalate your complaint. Please telephone us on 1300 883 104 or write to us at:

WARNING
• Always wear approved safety glasses with side shields when operating. Compressed air and particulate matter can cause eye and soft tissue damage. Keep air stream away from skin and eyes.
RISK OF BURNS: Always wear gloves. Some exposed parts may become hot during use.
RISK TO BREATHING: This compressor is not designed for and never should be used as a source of breathable air.
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK: This compressor is for use in dry conditions only.
RISK OF FALLING: This compressor will produce vibrations which may cause the product to move along the surface. Only operate at ground level.
RISK OF FIRE: This unit will become hot during operation. Allow to cool before storing.
RISK OF BURSTING: Use only accessories rated for 90psi. Always follow tyre manufacturer’s recommended ination instructions. In most cases they can be located on the side wall of the tyre. If you are unsure, contact the manufacturer.
DO NOT MODIFY: Never drill, modify or attempt to repair the unit. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
SAFE HANDLING: Never carry the unit by the hose or power cord.
OPERATING WARNING
This unit is designed to supply continuous ow of air. Never dead end the hose or use accessories that stop the free ow of air. Damage to the unit can occur.
• This product should never be left unattended during use.
• Never allow children to operate this compressor.
• This compressor may become HOT during operation. Do not touch the compressor with bare hands other than the battery clamps or the On/O switch during and immediately after use.

6
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Turn the compressor on before connecting to the tyre in order to reduce stress on the motor.
• Use for a maximum 20 minutes then allow to cool for 20 minutes.
• To prevent damage to the air hose tting, remove the inator from the tyre before disconnecting the hose from the compressor.
• The black power clip to a Negative ground point. Do not connect the Black clip directly to the battery.
• Test the connections by switching the compressor to “on”. Air will begin to ow.
• Connect the air hose by screwing the brass inator onto the tyre valve stem. Only nger tighten the inator. Do not use any tool as you may damage the inator or the valve stem.
• Watch the gauge closely, switch the unit o or remove the inator from the tyre when the manufacturer’s recommended pressure has been achieved.
• We recommend that you use a second tyre pressure gauge to verify your tyres are inated to the proper pressure.
• Stopping and restarting at high pressure can overload and blow the in-line fuse. At higher ination pressures, start the unit and then attach to the valve stem. If you stop the unit and need to resume ination, remove the inator tip from the tyre valve, start the unit and reattach with the unit running.
• Allow the compressor to cool and place neatly in the carry bag with the clips securely fastened to the loops on the carry bag. To prevent damage to the unit during storage repack in the original colour box.
• Store the unit in a dry location.
• Remember to replace the valve cover on the stem.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION CIRCUIT
The unit is equipped with an automatic protection device. In the event the unit reaches an unsafe operating temperature, a protection circuit will cut power to prevent damage to the unit. If the protection circuit activates, immediately disconnect the unit from the power source and allow it to cool. The unit will cool in approximately 15 minutes, depending on environmental conditions. The protection circuit will automatically reset itself when the temperature returns to a safe operating level. High altitude and certain air temperatures can negatively aect the unit’s performance.

HARD MOUNTING
This unit may be hard mounted in a dry location. Be sure to use proper size wiring for your application. When using this unit with an air tank, you must install a back-ow preventing device to prevent damage to the cylinder head air valve.
OPERATION
• When operating the unit, be sure to be in a safe location o the road and away from trac.
• Unpack the unit and inspect for damage. Completely unwrap the power cord.
• Make sure that vehicle engine is running and place the unit on a dry level surface.
• Connect the air supply hose to the unit using the quick connect tting. (See Picture 1. below)
1. Slide retaining snap ring back.
2. Slide the ttings together rmly.
3. While holding ttings together rmly slide the outer ring forward to lock.
• Connect the red alligator clamp to a positive 12 volt source. Connect the black alligator clamp to a negative ground point. Do not connect the black alligator clamp directly to the battery.
• Test the connections by switching the compressor to “on”. Air will begin to ow.
• Connect the air hose by screwing the brass inator onto the tyre valve stem. Only nger tighten the inator. Do not use any tool as you may damage the inator or the valve stem.
• Watch the gauge closely and switch the unit o or remove the inator from the tyre when the manufacturer’s recommended pressure has been achieved.
• Allow the compressor to cool before replacing neatly into the plastic storage case with the alligator clamps and adaptors secured into cavaties provided.
• Store the unit in a dry location.
• Remember to replace the valve cap onto the stem of your valve.
