o Amplifier/Antenna unit 1

II. Installation Instructions

o Step 1. Place the Magnetic Antenna on the external part of the car on the roof or

trunk as shown below. Try to have the antenna as far away as possible from
where you will plug the unit in the cigarette lighter plug.

o Step 2. Route the cable

Route the 15 feet of cable, hiding it whenever possible to keep it out of
the way. Run the cable up to the front of the car near the cigarette lighter
plug for power.

Note

The 12-Volt source that is providing power may not turn off when you turn your car off. If
this is the case in your car then unplug the unit when vehicle is turned off - or battery will
drain, after a few days.

o Step 3. Plug in the Amplifier unit

Plug in the Amplifier unit into the cigarette plug and turn the car on, the green
LED should turn on.
