Additional Information:
This document covers only the 3M product. For complete assessment, when determining the degree of hazard, the material
being abraded must also be considered.
This product contains quartz silica. Quartz silica is a form of crystalline silica. Occupational exposure to inhaled crystalline
silica has been associated with silicosis and lung cancer. No exposure to crystalline silica is expected during the normal
handling and use of this product. Crystalline silica was not detected when air sampling was conducted during simulated use of
similar products containing crystalline silica. Therefore, the health effects associated with crystalline silica are not expected
during normal use of this product.
