Press the other side of mounting
clip until it’s hooked in.

Check the cooler
by turning left
and right.

Hang on the mounting
clip to either side of
Retention Module.
Step 1
Tear the package of the thermal grease
off, apply thermal grease evenly to the
bottom of heatsink base.

Example
Step 1
Aim the LGA775 RM to
the 4 holes of MB. Plug
and press the 4 bolts
to the holes of RM.
Step 2
Tear the package of the thermal grease
off, apply thermal grease evenly to the
bottom of heatsink base.
Step 3
Hang on the mounting
clip to either side of
Retention Module.
Step 4
Press and hold the
top of cooler to
match the CPU
well.
Step 5
Press the other
side of mounting
clip until it’s
hooked in.
Step 6
Check the cooler by
turning left and right.
