Programmes with prewash last about 15 minutes more than programmes without prewash. Water and energy
consumption values were measured in standard conditions in compliance with the Standard IEC 60 456. Individual
consumption may vary in comparison with the values specified in the table, because of differences in supply water
pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.

ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Pour the detergent and additives into the respective
compartments as follows:
• Programme with pre and main wash
• Main wash programme without prewash
• Fabric softeners and starch
• Bleach
• Stain removers
• Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)
Important Note:
• Do not fill beyond the
“MAX”
level mark.
• For programme with prewash: do not use liquid detergent.
• For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C, it is recommended to use a liquid
detergent to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry.

SELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION
“Half Load” button
• Reduces the water consumption in the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programmes
especially during the rinse.
• Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduces the quantity of detergent).
• Not suitable for high temperature programmes.
“Rinse Hold” button
• The laundry remains in the last rinse water, without progressing to the spin cycle to
avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing.
• This option is especially recommended for the “Synthetics” or “Delicate” programmes.
• This option is perfectly suitable if you wish to postpone the spin or you don’t wish to
spin the clothes.
Note:
the programme selector stops on “”.
Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option
• Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with
the spin cycle corresponding to the previously selected wash programme.
• If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off”
button. The pilot light goes out. Turn th e prog ramme se lecto r to the “Drai n” position and
switch on the appliance.
PROGRAMME START
Open the water inlet tap and press the On/Off button “”.The pilot lamp lights up.
DOOR LOCK
During the running programme, the door cannot be opened.
The door locks automatically in all programmes.
If the programme is stopped or if an electrical power failure occurs, the door unlocks
automatically after about 1 minute.
PROGRAMME END
• The programme selector knob is at “STOP”.
1. Press the On/Off button “”. The pilot light goes out.
2. Cancel the options by pressing the appropriate buttons.
3. Turn the water supply tap off.
4. Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute).
5. Open the door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.
SELECTING A NEW PROGRAMME, SPIN SPEED, OPTIONS AFTER
PROGRAMME START
1. Press the On/Off button “” to switch off the appliance.
The pilot light goes out.
2. Select the new programme, temperature, spin speed and options.
3. Press the On/Off button “” to switch on the appliance.
The pilot light lights.
TO STOP, RESET A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END
1. Press the On/Off button “” to switch off the appliance.
The pilot light goes out.
2. Set the programme selector on “Drain”.
3. Press the On/Off button “” to start the “Drain” programme.
Only open the door when the programme selector is at “STOP” and
the door is unlocked (after approximately 1 minute).
