6. When adding resistance, both ends of the crossbows must rest under the two “U”-chan- nels. Add and remove crossbows from the “U”-channels one crossbow at a time.

7. Keep clear of the area around the “U”-chan- nels while the resistance system is in use. Do not add or remove crossbows from the “U”- channels while the end of the long cable is pulled out.

8. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened each time you use the resistance system. Replace any worn parts immediately.

9. If you feel pain or dizziness at any time while exercising, stop immediately and begin cooling down.

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the following important precautions ore using the resistance system.

1. Read all instructions in this manual and in the literature accompanying the resistance system before using the resistance system. Use the resistance system only as described in the literature.

2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the resistance system are adequately informed of all precautions.

3. Keep children under 12 and pets away from the resistance system at all times.

4. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

5. Use only the resistance included with a POWER PAK. Do not use other types of weight with the resistance system.

WARNING: Before beginning this or any exercise program, consult your physician. This specially important for persons over the age of 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Thank you for selecting the CrossBow by WEIDER™ resistance system POWER PAK. The CrossBow by WEIDER™ uses progressive resistance. As the crossbows begin to bend, the amount of resistance will increase gradually. As the crossbows bend further, the resistance will increase rapidly. The POWER PAK is designed to increase the amount of resistance available on the CrossBow by WEIDER™ resistance system.

For your benefit, read this manual carefully before using the POWER PAK and the resistance system.
