USE WITH TRIMMER HEAD
Beforetrimming,bringenginetoaspeedsufficient to cut material to be trimmed.
Donotrunengineatahigherspeed thannecessary.Thecuttinglinewillcutefficientlywhen the
engineisrunatless than fullthrottle. Atlower
speeds,thereislessengine noiseandvibration.
Thecuttinglinewilllastlongerandwillbeless
likely to “weld” onto the spool.
Iftrimmerheaddoesnotturnwhentheengine is
inoperation,makesurethetube isproperly
seated in engine shroud.
Alwaysreleasethethrottletriggerandallow
the engine to return to idle speed whennot
cutting.
To stop engine:

of line will be advanced with each tap. A
blade on the shield will cut the line to the
correct length.
Iflineis worndownto2in.(5cm)orless,more
thanonetapwillberequiredtoobtainthemost
efficient line length.

the blade snags, stalls, or binds. This is
