The DO-20 provides a connection to 20 Form-C relays from the Continuum DM-20 or the AEclipse DO80-LED option. The DO-20 module can be mounted via a DIN Rail or directly to a panel. The DO-20 includes individually fused relays.

External Power Supply Requirements

The DO-20 requires an external 24VDC ±10% power source. The current requirement is 500mA max.

The DO-20 module is shipped with the following parts:

• DO-20 Printed Circuit Board

• Two Plastic PCB Mounting Brackets

• Two plastic DIN Rail mounting Brackets.

• Installation guide (this document)

Additional Items Required

Items not included yet necessary for installation are the following:

• CX 9400 (AEclipse) controller or Continuum NetController

• DO80-LED Output module or Continuum DM-20 I/O module

• 24 VDC Power Source

• Output Wires

• 25-pin Interface cable

• Two DIN End Clamps

• Standard 35mm DIN Rail

•Enclosure

Mechanical Installation

The DO-20 is designed to be mounted to either a DIN Rail or directly to a bulkhead.

1. Slide an end clamp into position on the DIN Rail. Tighten the holding screws.

3. Slide the DIN Rail Mounting Bracket/PCB Bracket assembly onto the DIN Rail until ush with the end clamp.

4 Insert one end of the module PCB into the PCB Bracket. Slide the board

into the middle channel of the Mounting Bracket.

5 Slide another DIN Rail Mounting Bracket onto a PCB Bracket.

6 Slide the DIN Rail/PCB Mounting Bracket assembly onto the board and DIN

Rail. Carefully slide the assembled brackets into the center of the module board.

7 Slide the remaining bracket onto the DIN Rail and position it at the end of

the board.

8 Mount another end clamp. Tighten the screws on the end clamp.

Mounting Directly to a Panel

There are seven #6-sized holes (0.156 (4mm)) provided for mounting using stand-os directly to a at surface. The illustration on the right shows the mounting dimensions of the module.
