TURVAOHJEET

Tämä digiboksi on valmistettu kansainvälisten turvallisuusstandardien mukaisesti.
Lue seuraavat suositeltavat turvatoimet huolellisesti.

VERKKOSYÖTTÖ: AC 100-240V~, 50/60Hz

YLIKUORMITUS: Älä ylikuormita pistorasioita, jatkojohtoja tai sovittimia, sillä se saattaa

aiheuttaa tulipalon tai sähköiskun.

NESTEET: Älä tuo nesteitä digiboksin lähelle.

PUHDISTUS: Irroita digiboksin pistoke pistorasiasta ennen puhdistusta.

Käytä digiboksin ulkoiseen puhdistukseen kevyesti vedellä (ei liuottimilla)
kostutettua riepua.

TUULETUS: Älä tuki digiboksin tuuletusreikiä. Varmista, että ilma virtaa vapaasti

digiboksin ympärillä. Älä koskaan säilytä digiboksia suorassa
auringonvalossa tai lähellä lämmityslaitteita (esim. lämpöpatteria).
Älä koskaan pinoa muita sähkölaitteita digiboksin päälle.
Sijoita digiboksi vähintään 30mm päähän seinästä.

VARUSTEET: Älä käytä muita kuin valmistajan suosittelemia varusteita vaaran ja

laitteen vahingoittumisen estämiseksi.

KYTKEMINEN KAAPELI-TV -SIGNAALIIN JA TELEVISIOON:

Kytke kaikki laitteet ennen virtajohtojen kytkemistä pistorasiaan. Kytke
aina digiboksi, TV ja muut laitteet pois päältä ennen kuin kytket tai irroitat
kaapeleita.

HUOLTO: Älä yritä huoltaa tätä laitetta itse.

Takuun voimassaolo päättyy, jos yrität huoltaa laitetta itse.
Käänny huoltoasioissa pätevän huoltoedustajan puoleen.

SALAMOINTI: Digiboksin verkkoliitin ja modeemin puhelinlinja on suojattava jos

digiboksi asennetaan alueelle, joka on altis ankaralle salamoinnille.
Yksittäisten valmistajien ohjeita muiden digiboksiin kytkettyjen laitteiden,
kuten television, stereoiden ym. laitteiden suojaamiseksi on noudatettava
ukonilman aikana.

MAADOITUS: Signaalikaapeli ON MAADOITETTAVA.

Maadoitusjärjestelmän on noudatettava SABS 061 –säännöstä.

VAROITUS!

1. Seuraa näitä ohjeita virtajohdon tai pistokkeen vaurioitumisen estämiseksi.

 Älä muuntele tai käsittele virtajohtoa tai pistoketta omavaltaisesti.
 Älä taivuta tai väännä virtajohtoa liikaa.
 Irroita virtajohto pitämällä pistokkeesta kiinni.
 Pidä lämpölaitteet mahdollisimman kaukana virtajohdosta, jotta johdon kuori ei sula.

2. Seuraavien ohjeiden noudattamatta jättäminen saattaa aiheuttaa sähköiskun.

 Älä avaa pääkehystä.
 Älä työnnä metalleja tai helposti syttyviä esineitä laitteen sisälle.
 Älä koske virtajohtoa märällä kädellä.
 Irroita virtajohto pistorasiasta ukonilmalla.
 Älä peitä vastaanottimen tuuletusaukkoja esineillä kuten sanomalehdillä, vaatteilla jne.
 Älä aseta vastaanotinta lämpöä säteilevien kodinkoneiden päälle.

3. Älä käytä laitetta jos se on epäkunnossa. Jos jatkat viallisen tuotteen
käyttämistä, tuote voi vahingoittua vakavasti.
Ota yhteyttä paikalliseen laitteen jälleenmyyjään jos laite on epäkunnossa.

Tämän tuotteen turvallinen hävittäminen

(elektroniikka ja sähkölaitteet)

Oheinen merkintä tuotteessa tai tuotteen oheismateriaalissa
merkitsee, että tätä tuotetta ei tule hävittää
kotitalousjätteen mukana sen elinkaaren päätyttyä.

Hallitsemattomasta jätteenkäsittelystä ympäristölle ja
kanssaihmisten terveydelle aiheutuvien vahinkojen välttämiseksi tuote
tulee käsitellä muista jätteistä erillään. Jäte on hyvä kierrättää
raaka-aineiksi kestävän ympäristökehityksen takia.

1. VASTAANOTTIMEN SIJOITTAMINEN

DTB-B260Z pitää sijoittaa niin, että ilma kiertää laitteen ympärillä.
Älä laita laitetta suljettuun kaappiin, koska se rajoittaa ilmanvaihtoa ja johtaa laitteen
ylikuumenemiseen.
Laite pitää sijoittaa niin, että se on suojattu suoralta auringonvalolta, liialliselta
kosteudelta, kovalta käsittelyltä ja kotieläimiltä.
Vältä muiden sähkölaitteiden pinoamista virittimen päälle.
Antennijärjestelmän kaapelin on päästävä virittimen sijaintipaikkaan turvallisesti.

2. VASTAANOTTIMEN KYTKEMINEN ANTENNIIN

Vastaanotin voidaan kytkeä seuraavanlaisiin antenneihin:

 Normaali ulkoinen kattoantenni VHF ja UHF -kanavien vastaanottoon.
 Korkeampitaajuuksisten digitaalikanavien vastaanotto on vaikeaa tai mahdotonta

koska monet vanhemmat kattoantennit voivat vastaanottaa vain rajoitetun määrän
kanavia. Tässä tapauksessa kattoantenni voidaan vaihtaa.

 Jotkin ulkoantennit on kohdistettu analogiseen lähettimeen.

Antenni on kohdistettava kohti digitaalista TV-lähetintä.

 Sisä- tai ikkuna-antenneja ei suositella käytettäväksi, koska niillä on vaikeaa tai

mahdotonta vastaanottaa digitaalikanavia.

3. VASTAANOTTIMEN KYTKEMINEN TELEVISIOON

Vastaanotin voidaan kytkeä televisioon Scart-liittimellä.
Kytkettäessä televisio SCART-liittimen kautta, kytke AV1(TV) merkitty SCART-liitin
vastaavaan television SCART-liitäntäaukkoon.

4. VIDEONAUHURIN KYTKEMINEN

Videonauhurin kytkemistä varten DTB-B260Z on varustettu takana olevalla
SCART-liitännällä, joka on merkitty “AV2(EXT)”.
Videonauhuri voidaan kytkeä vastaanottimeen SCART-liittimellä.

HHuuoommiioo!! Digitaalisignaali saattaa olla heikko joillain alueilla.

Heikkosignaalisten kanavien katseluun on paras käyttää antennia, johon on
rakennettu tehostin.

5. ÄLYKORTTIEN SYÖTTÄMINEN CONAX-PALVELUJA VARTEN

Salatun palvelun katselua varten on oltava sopiva salauksenpurkumoduuli (Conditional
Access Module) ja käypä älykortti. Tässä DTB-B260Z -laitteessa on sisäinen Conax CAS
Conax -ohjelmien katselua varten.

Tällä painikkeella valitaan tekstitystila.
Tällä painikkeella on sama toiminto kuin
valikon VIHREÄLLÄ painikkeella. Tekstitys
ilmestyy kun painat painiketta kerran. Voit
valita halutun kielen

Paina sitä kahdesti. Tekstitelevisio ilmestyy

Asennus on suoritettava ennen televisio-ohjelman katselua.
Tämän vuoksi näet ensin vain valikkokuvia.
Te levisio-ohjelmien ohjelmoinnin jälkeen näet seuraavan kuvan joka kerta kun vaihdat kanavaa:

Näet tämän kuvan joka kerta kun vaihdat kanavia.

Te levisio- ja radio-ohjelmien välillä voi siirtyä painamalla kaukosäätimen TV/RADIO -painiketta.

● Paina PUNAISTA ( i ) -painiketta kahdesti ohjelmaa katsottaessa.

Näet ensin yllä kuvatun kuvan.
Kun PUNAISTA ( i ) -painiketta on painettu toisen kerran, meneillään olevan ohjelman
yksityiskohtaiset tiedot näkyvät toisessa kuvaikkunassa, jos ohjelman lisätietoa on saatavilla. Kun
tätä tietoa on enemmän kuin yhden sivun verran, PG+/PG- -painikkeilla voidaan siirtyä ylös ja alas.

Voit selata useita ohjelmaluetteloita TV/RADIO tai FAV -painikkeella.

liikkuvan tapahtuman aikana tällä kanavalla.

● Jos tämänhetkisessä kanavassa on tapahtuma, ajastin asetetaan välittömästi ja asetettu ajastin näkyy

1. Asennus

Tämä valikko koostuu neljästä alivalikosta:
Signaalin tila, manuaalinen skannaus, automaattinen skannaus ja

1.2 Manuaalinen haku

Uusien kanavien ja heikkojen signaalien viritystä varten
digiboksissa on “manuaalinen haku”, jossa käyttäjä voi
syöttää kanavatiedot.

● Aloita skannaustoiminto valinnan jälkeen painamalla

1.3 Automaattinen haku

Kanavat voidaan ladata automaattisesti alivalikon
“automaattinen haku” avulla.

Lataa kanavat automaattisesti:

Automaattinen skannaus näkyy.

1.4 Palauta tehdasasetukset

2. Kanavien järjestely

“Kanavien järjestely” -valikossa on kolme toimintaa:
“Kanavien järjestely” -valikolla poistetaan kaikki kanavat tai
luodaan/siirretään suosikkikanavia.

● Syotä PIN-koodi.

Käytä PIN-koodina tehdasasetusta 0000 jos et ole asettanut
omaa PIN-koodia.

2.1 Poista kaikki kanavat

Poista kaikki kanavat painamalla OK -painiketta
kehoitusikkunassa ja poistu painamalla

MENU / EXIT -painiketta.

2.2 Lisää ja poista suosikkikanavia

Tämänhetkisen kanavan voi rekisteröidä välittömästi haluttuun
suosikkiryhmään.
Lisäksi voit rekisteröidä kanavan useaan suosikkiryhmään.

● Valitse haluttu suosikkiryhmä (FAV1-FAV9) FAV -painikkeella.

● Valitse haluttu kanavaluettelo

3. Käyttölukitus

“Käyttölukitus” -toiminto asettaa katselurajoituksia ja estää
luvattoman pääsyn digiboksiin 4-numeroisella PIN-koodilla.
(PIN-koodin tehdasasetus on: 0000)

Valitsemalla tämän valikon saat kolme vaihtoehtoa:
lukon asettaminen halutulle kanavalle ja PIN-koodin vaihtaminen.

● Syotä PIN-koodi.

Käytä PIN-koodina tehdasasetusta 0000 jos et ole asettanut
omaa PIN-koodia.

3.1 Aseta kanavalukko

● Valitse TV tai RADIO -kanavaikkuna painamalla

TV/RADIO -painiketta.

● Keskitä kanava painamalla

● Valitse kanavalukko painamalla PUNAISTA ( i ) -painiketta.

● Vahvista painamalla OK -painiketta.

Tämä lukitsee kanavan. PIN-koodi on syötettävä kehoitusikkunaan

Eli pääset kaikkiin lapsilukittuihin kanaviin syöttämällä oikean
PIN-koodin mille tahansa lapsilukitulle kanavalle.

Syötä tässä valinnassa nykyinen PIN-koodi ensimmäiseen
sarakkeeseen ja uusi PIN-koodi toiseen sarakkeeseen.
Vahvista syöttämällä uusi PIN-koodi uudelleen.

Muista, että PIN-koodin tulee olla nelinumeroinen luku.

TEHDASASETETTU PIN-KOODI: 0 0 0 0.

● Saat ohjeen painamalla KELTAISTA (ALT) -painiketta.

3.3 Sovittimen katselurajoitus

Digiboksin ikärajoitustoiminto lukitsee automaattisesti kaikki
ohjelmat, joita pidetään lapsille sopimattomina.
Käyttäjän on syötettävä PIN-koodi ennen kuin rajoituksia
voidaan asettaa tai muuttaa.

● Valitse katsojaikä painamalla

alle 3-vuotiaat, 4–17 -vuotiaat, yli 18-vuotiaat.

● Digiboksin ikäraja estää automaattisesti tietyt katsojaiät,

jotka ovat “rajoittavampia”.
Esimerkiksi, jos estät 4-vuotiaat katsojat, tällöin myös
alle 3-vuotiaat estetään automaattisesti.

4.1 Kielen ja maan valinta

“Kielen ja maan valinta” -valinnan avulla käyttäjä voi valita
maan ja halutun kielen digiboksille, ääniraidalle, tekstitykselle
tai sähköiselle ohjelmaoppaalle (EPG).

● Digiboksilla on viisi kielivaihtoehtoa eri alueilta oleville ja eri

kieltä puhuville käyttäjille.

1) Aika

sunnuntai, joka maanantai, joka tiistai, joka keskiviikko, joka torstai, joka perjantai, joka lauantai,
kerran. Jos ajastin on asetettu EPG-ruudusta, EPG näkyy “tapahtuman toistona”.

● Aseta haluttu aika painamalla numeropainikkeita (0–9) ja valitse kytkentäaika, jonka haluat

varata, painamalla / -painikkeita. Jos asetettu “päällekytkentäaika” on sama kuin “pois

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This STB has been manufactured to satisfy international safety standards.
Please read the following recommended safety precautions carefully.

MAINS SUPPLY: AC 100-240V~, 50/60Hz

OVERLOADING: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or adapters

as this can result in fire or electrical shock.

LIQUIDS: Keep liquids away from the STB.

CLEANING: Before cleaning, disconnect the STB from the wall socket.

Use a cloth lightly dampened with water (no solvents) to
clean the exterior.

VENTILATION: Do not block the STB ventilation holes. Ensure that free airflow

is maintained around the STB. Never store the STB where it is
exposed to direct sunlight or near heating equipment e.g. a
radiator.
Never stack other electronic equipment on top of the STB.
Place the STB at least 30mm from the wall.

ATTACHMENTS: Do not use any attachment that is not recommended by the

manufacturer; it may cause a hazard or damage the equipment.

CONNECTION TO THE CABLE TV SIGNAL AND TV:

Connect all components before plugging any power cords into the wall
outlet. Always turn off the STB, TV and other components before you
connect or disconnect any cables.

CONNECTING YOUR “STB”

1. LOCATION OF THE RECEIVER

Your DTB-B260Z should be placed under proper ventilation.
Don’t put in completely enclosed cabinet that will restrict the flow of air,
resulting in overheating.
The location should be safeguarded from direct sunlight, excess moisture,
rough handling or household pets.
Avoid stacking other electronic components on the top of the receiver.
The location should be safely accessible by the cable from your antenna system.

2. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER WITH AERIALS

You can connect the receiver to the following type of aerials:
 Use a standard outdoor roof aerial intended for receiving channels between

VHF and UHF.

 Because many older roof-mounted aerials may only receive a limited number

of channels, it is difficult or impossible to receive digital channels transmitted
on higher frequencies. If so, you may replace the roof aerial.

 Some outdoor aerials are directed towards an analogue transmitter.

The aerial must be directed towards a digital TV transmitter.

 It is not desirable to use indoor or window mounted aerials,

as it will be difficult or impossible to receive digital channels.

3. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER TO TV

To connect the receiver with your television, you can use Scart Cable.
In the case of connecting your TV through SCART cable, connect the SCART
connector marked AV1(TV) to the respective SCART port on the TV.

4. CONNECTING YOUR VCR

To connect a VCR, the DTB-B260Z has been provided with SCART
at the rear marked “AV2(EXT)”.
Using a SCART connector, the VCR can be connected to the receiver.

So you’d better use the antenna in which the booster was built, for watching
the weak signal channels.

5. INSERTING SMARTCARDS FOR CONAX SERVICES

In order to view a scrambled service, you need to have the appropriate
Conditional Access Module and a valid Smartcard. This DTB-B260Z has the
Conax CAS embedded to view Conax programmes.

10. ALT (YELLOW) This key is for selecting the soundtrack list for the current service.

This key functions same as the YELLOW key on the menu.
Press it once and sound track appears.
Press it twice and video track appears.
The sound and video track services are not provided for every
channel and depend on the conditions the operator is in.
This key is for displaying the help message in the sub-menu.

1. Display Screen

Before you can view the television program, you must perform the installation.
Therefore you will see only menu images at first.
After the television channels have been programmed, you will see the following picture (banner)
each time you switch channels:

correct EPG information.

This function is displayed on the screen by using only time.

1. Installation

This menu consists of 4 sub-menus:
Signal Status, Manual scanning, Auto scanning, and Reset to
Factory Default.

● Select “Installation” in the main menu mode to

2. Channel Organising

The “Channel Organising” menu has three functions:

3. Parental Lock

This “Parental Lock” feature sets viewing restrictions and
prevents unauthorized access to your STB through the
PIN (Personal Identification Number), which is a 4 digit number.
(The factory preset PIN Code : 0000)

On selecting this menu, you will have three options:
to set lock for any desired channel and to change your PIN value.

● Enter PIN Code.

If you have not entered your own PIN Code then the

PIN Code 0000 applies, which was set at the factory.

3.1 Set Channel Lock

To change the PIN Code, select the second option

Please remember the PIN Code should be a 4 digit numerical
value.

3.3 STB Maturity rating

The STB Maturity rating feature automatically locks out
programs that are deemed inappropriate for children.
The user must enter a PIN (Personal ID Number) before any
of the restrictions are set up or changed.

4. System Setup

This option enables you to change the factory preset system
settings as per your requirements.

4.1 Language & Country Selection

The “Language & Country Selection” option allows the user to
select country and the desired language of the OSD, Soundtrack,
Te letext, Subtitle or EPG.

You can download and upgrade the system software of the receiver through a specific channel
through a specific channel designated by the broadcaster.
The distributor will provide you with more information about that.
If you select to download a new software version, all your previous settings, access code and
favorite channels etc. will be erased! Downloading may take a while. During downloading, don’t
turn off the receiver.
