Intrusion Detection
Intrusion detection is provided by devices such as the ADT Door and Window Detector or the ADT Motion Detector. These devices are only active when armed by your ADT Security Hub.
If your home is protected by an ADT professional monitoring service, the ADT Security Hub will activate the alarm siren and notify ADT as soon as an intrusion is detected and initiate an emergency response.
If your home is not protected by an ADT professional monitoring service, the ADT Security Hub will activate the alarm siren as soon as an intrusion is detected but will not notify ADT.
Visit SmartThings.com/ADT for more details on ADT professional monitoring services and to see the full list of compatible detectors and alarms.
