INSTALLATION
Notes:
Choose the mounting location where
the unit will not interfere with the
n or m al driving function of the driv er .
Before f inally inst all in g the un it, connect
the wi ri ng temporarily and make sure it
is all connected up properly and the
un it and the system work properly .
Use only the parts included with the
unit to ensure proper installation. The
use of unauthorized parts can cause
malfunctions.
Consult with your nearest dealer if
installation requires the drilling o f holes
or oth er modifications of the vehicle.
Install t he unit where it does no t ge t i n
the dri ver’s way and ca nnot injure the
passen ger if there is a sudden stop, l ike
an em ergency stop.
If i nsta llatio n angel exceeds 30°from
horizontal, the unit might not give its
optimum perf ormance.
Avoid installi ng t he unit w here it would
be su bj ect t o high temperatu r e, such as
from direct sunlight, or from hot air,
from the heater, or where it would be
subject to dust, dirt or excessive
vibration.
DIN F RONT/REAR-MOUNT
This unit can be properly inst alled eith er
from “Front” ( conventional DIN Front-mount)
or “Rear” ( DIN Rear-mount installation,
u t ilizin g threaded screw holes at the sides
of th e unit chassis) . For details, refer to the
following illustr at ed install ation methods .
DIN F RONT-MOUNT (Method A)

This unit can be inst all ed in any dashboard
h avin g an opening as shown below:

Be sure you test all connections first, and
then f oll ow these steps to install the unit.
1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, and
then disconnect the cable from the
v ehicl e battery ’s negative (-) terminal.
2. Disconnect the wire harness and the
antenna.
3. Lift the top of th e outer trim r ing then pull
it out to remove it.
4. The two supplied keys release tabs
inside the unit’s sleeve so you can
remove i t. Insert t he ke ys as far ast he y
will go (with the notches facing up) i nto
the appropriate slots at the middle left
and right sides of the unit. The n slide
the sleeve off the back of th e unit .
5. Mount the sl eeve by inser t ing the sleeve
i nto t he opening o f the dashboard and
bend open the tabs located around the
sleeve with a
screwdriver. Not all tabs wi ll be able to
make contac t, so examine which o nes will
be most effective. Bending open the

tabs behind the dashboard to secure the
sleeve in place.
6. Reconnect the wire harness and the
an t enna and be careful not to pin ch any
wires or cables.
7. Slide the unit into the sleeve until it
locks int o place.
8. T o further secure the unit, use the
su ppl ied metal strap to secure the back
of th e unit in place. Use the supplied
hardware (Hex Nut (M5mm) and Spring
W asher) to attach one end of t he strap
to th e mountin g bolt on the back of the
un it. If necessary, bend the metal strap
to fit your vehicle’s m ount ing area. Th en
use the supplied hardware (Tappi ng
Screw (5x 25mm) and Plain W asher) t o
att ach th e other end of metal strap to a
solid met al par t of the vehicle under the
dash boar d. This strap al so hel ps ensur e
proper electrical groun ding of the unit.

termina l to the dashboard.
9. Reconnect the cable to the vehicle
battery’s negative (-) terminal. Th en
repl ace th e outer trim ring.
Removi ng t he unit
1. Make sure the ignition is tur ned off, then
disconnect the cable from the vehicle
battery’s negative (-) te rminal.
2. Remove the metal strap attached the
back of th e unit ( if attach ed).
3. Lift the t op of the ou ter t r im ring th en pull
it out to remove it.
4. Insert both of the supplied ke ys into the
slots at the middle left and right sides of
the unit, then pull the unit out of the
dashboard.
DIN REAR-MOUNT ( Method B)
If your vehicle is a Nissan, Toyota, follow
these mounting instructions.
Use the screw holes marked T (To yota ), N
(N issan) locat ed on both sides of the un it to
fast en th e unit to the factory radio mounting
bracket s supplied with you r vehicle.

To fasten the unit to the factory radio
mount ing brackets.
1. Use a screwdriver to loose the hook’s
screws on t he front left and right sides
of th e unit and remove the hooks.
2. Align the screw holes on the bracket
with the screw holes on the unit, and
then tighten the screws (5x5mm) on
each side.
Note: the outer trim ring, sleeve and the
metal strap are not used for method B
installation.

GENERAL OPERATION
SWITCHING ON/OFF THE UNIT
Press any button to turn o n the uni t .
When the unit is on, Press and hold
button (1) t o turn the unit off.
SO UND ADJ USTME NT
Press SEL button (3) shortly to select
the desired adjustment mode. The
adjustment mode will change in the
fol lowing order:
BAS → TRE → BAL → FAD → EQ → VOL
By pressing the vol+/- button (4) to adjust
the desired sound quality.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLA Y
Exhibit current frequency and activated
functions on the display (5).
AUXILIARY INPUT
The unit can be connected to a portable
audio player through the AUX IN jack
(21).
USB I NTERFACE
On th e fron t pan el of the unit, there is an
USB interface (11). You can co nnect an
USB driver throu gh this interface (11).
DISPLAY
Repeat edly pres s DSP butt on(8) to show
the information as below:
TIME->FREQ.->PTY->PS
It wil l return back to current state after 5
seconds.
Adj ust the clock
In time mode. Press and hold for 2
seconds. The “HH” will flash, Use
/
button (2) to change the HOUR.
Press DSP again. The “MM” will flash.
Use
/ button (2) to change the
minute. Press and hold it agai n will exit
this mode after f inished. Or it w ill exit this
mode aut om at ically after 10 seconds.
RESET FUNCTION
RESET button (20) must be activated
with either a ballpoint pe n or thi n metal
object. The RESET button is to be
activ ated for the
following reasons:
- Ini ti a l ins ta l la ti o n o f the u ni t w hen a l l
wiring is completed.
- All the function buttons do not
operate.
- Error sym bol on the display.

GENERAL OPERATION
Press MUTE button (9) to mute down th e
sound instantly. If any butt on is pressed
in the mute state, the mute state is
released.
EQUALIZATION
Press EQ button (10) shortly to turn on
equalization function and to select
desired
audio mode. There are five kinds of
mode as bel ow:
→FLAT→POP→CLASS→ROCK→E Q OFF
RADIO OPERATION
SWITCHING TO RADIO MODE
Press MODE button (1) s hortly to se lect
radio mode, the radio mode appears i n
the display together with the memory
ban d and frequency.
SELECTING STATION
Press 8
/ 9 button (2) shortly to
activate automatic seek function. Press
for several seconds until “MANUAL”
appears on the display, the manual
tuning mode is selected. If both butto ns
have not been pressed for several
seconds, they will return to seek tuning
mode and “AUTO” appears on the
display.
AUTOMA TIC MEMORY STORING &
PRO GRAM SCANNING
- Automatic memory storing
Press AS/PS button (6) for several
seconds, the radio searches f rom the
current frequency and checks the
signal
strength until one cycle search is
finished. And then the strongest
stations are stored into the
corr esponding pres et number butt on.
- Progr am scanning
Press AS/PS button (6) shortly to scan
preset station which is stored in button
16(1~6).
STATION STORING
Received a desired station then press
one of the preset button (16) (1 to 6) for
2 seconds, current station will be
stor ed into the number butt on.
SE L ECTING TH E F REQ U ENCY BAN D
At radio mode, press BND button (7)
sh ortly to s elect the desired band.
The reception band will change in the
fol lowing order:

U SB PLAY OPERATI O N
On th e fron t pan el of the unit, there is an
USB interface (11). You can connect an
USB driver throu gh this interface .
Wh en you connect an USB driver
thr ough the int erface, th e unit will search
the MP3 or WMA files in the USB driver
an d st art to play MP3 or WMA f il es
automatically.
If in other mode, y ou can also press
MODE button (1) to se lect USB mode.
The operation please refer to the
following instruction.
SELECTING SONGS IN SI NGLE STEP
Press
/ button (2) to move to the
previous song or the following song.

SELECTING DIRECTORY UP/DOWN
Press DIR
+ button (13) or DIR- button
(14) to select directory downward or
upward. If the MP3 disc does not
contain any directory, there is no
function of pressing DIR

PREVIEWING ALL FILES
Press SCN button (18) to INTRO each
file stored in USB device. S ho rt l y p ress
again t o stop intro an d start to play.
REPEATING PLAYING
Press RPT but to n ( 17) for 1 ti me. It wi ll
show “RPT ONE”. It will continuously
repeat th e same file.
Press RPT butt on (17) for 2 ti mes. It wi ll
show “R PT DIR”. It will repeat all files of
the curr ent direct ory .
Press RPT butt on (17) for 3 time s . It wi ll
show “RPT ALL”. It will repeat all the
files.
PLAYING IN RANDO M ORDE R
Shortly press SHF button (15) to play all
files in random order. Press it again to
cancel the function.
CAUTION：
When there are important files in the
USB
dev ice, do not connect it t o the main unit
to play, because any wrong operation
may cause files loss. And o ur company
assum es no respon sibility for this.
SD/ MMC OPER ATION
Ther e is a SD/ M M C interface ( 12) on the
fr ont panel of the unit.
When you insert a SD/MMC card in the
SD/MMC int erfac e, the unit will sear ch
the MP3 or WMA files in the card and
start
to pl ay automat ically.
The operat ion is the same with the USB
play operation described above.
If in other mode, y ou can also press
MODE but t on (1) to select SD/MMC
mode.
Wh en there ar e important fil es in the
SD/MM C car d, do not connect it to t he
main unit to play.

TROUBLE S HOOT ING
Before going through the checklist, check wiring connection. If any of the problems persist
aft er checklist has been made, consult your neares t service deal er.
Symptom
